First they sent me to a place where a mentally challenged girl who can't even use a square got mad at us every time we did things the way we were trained and told us that it didn't matter that basically we weren't supposed to do our jobs right and nothing we were trained mattered. Then they tried to send me to a job where the hours didn't work for me and i had to have boots but 2 weeks later i still haven't been paid so how am i supposed to get boots Labor max paid me the same day or at the end of the first week no waiting around for a check to be mailed I am done with these people if you're not going to listen to your clients then you don't know how to do your job

When you do talk to the receptionist to be transferred to a recruiter, they act like you are a bother in their day and don't have time for you.

Despite my background as a State Government employee in Baltimore, Maryland, with over 15 years of experience in clerical roles and typing (120wpm) and ten-key (14,000 kph) speeds and MS Office proficiency that pretty objectively exceeded expectations, they failed to provide me with job leads and still have not reached out to me for over 14 months.I think this had more to do with my appearance than my qualifications, as they have a reputation for deferring individuals from marginalized social/ethnic groups over to their Industrial department or just refusing to contact them when they have new opportunities.When I requested job leads that fit my preferences, they refused based on sophistry claiming that their job listings didn't exactly match what I said I *preferred*. When I asked them for other job roles available that suited my skills/experience/interests, they just kept parroting the same line about them having no listings for my preferred working conditions, refusing to cooperate with me towards our mutual ends. Despite my high level of engagement and exceptional performance on their assessments, Penmac Staffing did not seem interested in matching my level of effort and failed to fulfill their responsibility to help me.It's essential for staffing agencies like Penmac Staffing to find jobs that align with a client's qualifications, even if they aren't perfect. This allows the client to gain valuable experience and grow their career.I would not recommend Penmac Staffing due to their unethical behavior, which risks losing clients and damaging their own reputation, not to mention wasting time that could be spent looking for help through a credible staffing agency.

Chris Stacy: Absolutely wonderful experience. They were so kind and quick to get me in the system and going after I had been suddenly let go from my previous job the week before. With their help I had two interviews lined up in only a couple days at full-time jobs that matched exactly what I was looking for. I was offered a job the day after the first interview, not minutes after the second and have already been there thriving for 2 weeks in something leagues better that my previous work in all aspects thus far. I will say I did have multiple years of viable past experience that allowed me to get that job I have, but without the help and backing of the company I don't know if I would have gotten an interview nearly as quickly.

Cory Compton: This company is horrid. Great concept but horrible management. To the point they can't keep office workers let alone find enough employees for other companies. I received great ratings on all jobs they've given me over a year. Personally I've dealt with anger outbursts, incorrect hours with an unwillingness to look into their mistakes and I was fired for disputing incorrect hours. If they're understaffed, they'll refuse to give you state regulated breaks or even a meal break. They constantly screw employees over if they don't conform to the unreputable behavior they use. Would not recommend.

Miranda Shull: My friend went through this services to get a job. One, they'll only have your resume/application in at one place at a time. Two, his worker seldom returned his calls (normally after he left two or three voice mails throughout multiple days). Three, they don't want to put your application in for another job until the job you've applied for has filled. This means you will go two to three weeks with your worker telling you they're working their hardest for you to get the job, and hopefully be turning in your own applications other places because when you find out after that two or three weeks you didn't get the job you restart the whole process. Or, even better, you could be in my friends situation where you receive an email that the position was filled and not hear from your worker at all to start the process of another application. Yeah. The experience my friend got from here was not worth it for them to get x amount of money from each paycheck you get until you're hired on. I highly suggest not using this service. Maybe some people have had better workers on their case, maybe there are better workers, but from this experience I would not use this company. Ever.
