Missouri Job Center: what do users think?
Steve Ra: Nice and professional
Steve P: Great information provided.
Edward “Legend Dig” Wayne: Great experience and very useful
Mr.573 preach: Still have good resources in job searches.
T M: The woman who stood at the computer location hovered and made me feel anxious while I was trying to update my resume. She was so unhelpful that I ended up leaving without being able to complete my resume properly.
Lance Lathrop: Staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I'm very grateful that we have this resource in my City and highly recommend them from job prospecting , updating a resume, etc.
taylor lee: The person answering the calls (Marilyn?) Is worthless and so is anyone else that is responsible for answering a call in this place. Marilyn answered my call laughing, took 5secs for them to even acknowledge I was on the line. When I told Marilyn I've never been called back from the multiple voice-mails I've left, they were very sarcastic and rude. Then put me on hold without saying anything else and I got sent to ANOTHER voice-mail. These people don't help, better off going in person.
Kayla Zglinicki: My husband went in there to get help printing off a Resume he had already written down & just need typed out & nobody would help him & was turned away & the gentleman told him he could not to help him because there was 4 others he had to help & he couldn't help with that.. Wasted trip will just go to the library to see if some one can print it so he can start his job tomorrow
Akaya Ranspot: To give you even an idea of how much this place has helped me, I've been in and out of the hospital all my middle and high school, finally dropping out in the middle of 10th grade bc the teachers gave up on me bc I was that far behind and they didn't care, they wanted me to do hw while I was hooked up in ICU having trouble breathing. Fast-forward hella research and commitment, I found this place by luck and they have showed me nothing but kindness and wanting others to try their best at education and finding new jobs that work for you. I've been able to hit the ground running with my education not worrying about the next time I'm in the hospital it will mess everything up while these amazing teachers really do care about getting you what u need. I hope this helps for how much they helped me. I wouldn't of come this far without them. I am so very grateful I found this place.
Linda Pierce: These pictures were taken at 1pm today at the Missouri Career Center on East Sunshine. The silver Honda is my vehicle, I am disabled and have a handicapped placard displayed for the handicapped parking spot. The white Mercedes in the photographs, parked in the lined area adjacent to the handicapped parking spot, belongs to a director-level employee at the Missouri Career Center. When she parked next to me, I politely asked her to relocate her car, so that after I left, a handicapped person whose vehicle needed that lined area to lower a wheelchair lift, could have access to the facility. She told me that she leased the property and could park there if she wanted, that it is not illegal for her to park there. She further said that there were enough handicapped parking spots for anyone who needed them.My friends, please share this post with the purpose of alerting her superiors to her callous attitude toward the handicapped, but toward the law as well. The owner of this vehicle is a paid public servant and is in a leadership position.Thank you
Ricky Horstman: Always long line
Katana_ Rider: Went for a job interview.
Shepard Alenko: Upon reading some of the positive reviews I find them highly comedic and laughable at best. This place takes up the highest honor of being worse than Penmac at time wasting. If you’re looking for a job then try indeed or even craigslist before coming here. They will do nothing but waste your time, I know from experience since they have wasted my time multiple times. To say this building represents a government establishment perfectly (a building with a shimmering front and a message that gives you hope but after, leaving you feeling cheated out of time and/or money) is the only truth that can be found anywhere near these premises. My sheer hate for this place is unparalleled as compared to any other horrible business I have ever dealt with. I feel incredibly sorry for the other people, like me, that have gone in expecting help or to find employment but leave empty handed.
Kyle Bradley: They have one of the gnarliest parking lots to thrash. Whether you’re kicking around a classic, or bombing with a long, you’re sure to have a blast. I’ve even seen fruitboots shredding it up at this spot. The Kum&Go nearby has hecka selection of smokes and killer deals on Monster Energy drinks. Plus there is a lot of traffic on Sunshine, so babewatch on full max.
Charlie & Jess Binney/Lindsay: Just fine.
Kerunou Ronorona: Not a good place to go if you're actually looking for a job. They're more likely to pitch you a bunch of programs that will move you toward a career later down the road, rather than gainful employment in the here and now. So if you're unemployed in the here and now, don't waste your time. Short staffed and unlikely to get you the help you need.
Greg Price: The Career Center part is spacious, modern and comfortable. The part that helps people with Food Stamps/etc is off to one side, tiny, and there is nowhere to sit in the actual lobby while almost always having a line. Not handicap/disabled friendly at all.
Jacob Kolb: very unreliable. not saying the whole place is terrible but there are certain people who never answered the phone for me when I had questions about ged testing. they may have paid for me to take my GED tests but it took way longer through the career center because my case worker was either never there or too lazy to answer the phone. been waiting on a check for a minute now.
AP Media: Career center has been keeping up with me through trade school, and giving me bonuses for staying in school! At any time willing to set me in the direction of a career or help me find an apprenticeship.
Troy McInnis: They have a nice facility and they have a large number of computers with people who are there to help you navigate their system. They have classes you can take that will help you build a resume and they have people who will give you advice. Because of these types of things offered I give it a 3 stars. The reason I can't give it more than 3 stars is because in six months I was never sent on one interview. I was told that, because of my quilifications and education, I would be bumped up a notch where I would be with a person who works with companies who are looking for people with my specific qualifications.I was given advice, but to be honest, I wasn't told anything I didn't already know.I went to a resume class that I thought was quit good on the surface, but it was an older resume that got me in the door and the newer one didn't really work for the job i applied for.Don't get me wrong, companies use them to conduct interviews, but if your not actively watching for these on the calendar you will miss them.I feel that they need to let the people needing assistance know that they aren't there to send them to interviews, help set up interviews, or keep you in the loop when a job comes around that your qualified for.I had an overall good experience, and fortunately I knew you have to do the legwork yourself. They do oversale in the beginning what they will do for you outside the facility. If you need assistance getting started they are the place to go.Thank you for your help.
Kit Smit: These people are very rude to everyone who walks in this building. They try to belittle you. It seems like they think that they are better or above you, witch is not ok at a place where they are supposed to help you. Sheila was the woman whose job is to help people fill out forms on a computer. Instead she tries to make people feel ignorant and incapable of doing anything.

Focus Workforce Management: what do users think?
Andy Rice: Didn't pay my girlfriend for her last two days of work even though she called several times trying to get it they never call back with an answer it will be reported to the better business bureau because my kids are suffering because you decided to rip us off
Gary Staggs: They told me they would have a job for me so i came up here at 3am was living in arkansas. Slept in my truck wit my fiance till morning to be told they have nothing. Then i called them a couple days later told be to be there at 8:30 am so i was bit someone walked in 5 mins before my appointment they said they gave the job to the other person. Been in my truck for 3 weeks till i went to a good job they said they would place me at but they dont even mess wit them anymore. The staff are un professional and rude. This for the springfield focus north kansas near lowes
Piccola McCulloch: They are not a good place to work my husband is the one who workedgot hired waited 4 days to actually start kept putting off the start date my husband and another guy got let go after working 2 hrs because they would not run a forklift they were not certified to run and if they would have done that it would have been automatic termination so they refused and got let go then they said they wasnt fast enough bad company would not recommend them to anyone
A G: Going in was super quick friendly and upfront, Charity was super relax, and understanding, honest, and very upbeat attitude. Made finding work a rather enjoyable experience I would recommend going through Focus for work they also are willing to work with you to give you some things needed for certain jobs.
De Anna: So far, our experience with them has been stellar. They found my hubby a great job making really good wages. I don’t know what all the negative neds below are on about. The staff has been incredibly professional with us so far. I will update if there become any changes, but I get the feeling this is a place that if the employee acts with integrity and class, the company will go out of their way to ensure the employees success.
Preston Miller: Charity was and is still awesome. They got me hired on very fast and the process was very easy. They even offered to help me with supplies for my new job. Couldn't have picked a better place as they respond quickly. They even call to check in here and there and see how things are going or if I need anything. 💯 Awesome! Thank you for all the help and support!
Dalton Spence: Awesome place to find work, great staff, always able to help whenever you need something. Never had a bad experience with any of the staff or jobs.
Robert George: I worked with a lady named Charity from this location, she was a phenomenal help with everything I needed and would definitely recommend her for anyone needing help. She handled everything with the utmost professional attitude and was able to answer any questions I had. I would rate them at more than 5 stars but that's all Google allows.
Aaron Woolf: This is the place to go if you are looking for work! Charity and her team are highly dedicated to help you start your next job. They are very responsive and very easy to work with. When I had to end an assignment for a injury I had gotten, they wasted no time finding my next assignment when I was ready for work. They really do their best to help however they can! I highly recommend you give them a visit if you need work. I will always be grateful for the help they have given me.
Kevin Montague: Focus has landed some good jobs . I personally enjoyed the hiring process and the staff was super awesome. The jobs I got were awesome and had very friendly management. As far as focus....I recommend them over any temp agency in the area. I got treated well on the hiring process and had my first job within a couple of days. Charity has kept on top of everything. And if she didn't have an answer she would get one for any issues. Never have I seen a temp service go above and beyond what was needed. If it was possible I'd give them 10 stars.
Kevin Strode: Charity was very helpful. She was friendly, detailed, and punctual. She helped me land a great job! I have never had a better interview/hiring experience! Bravo!
Ryan Baker: Great staff very helpful
Fearnobody Qwonn: Fantastic job you guys have given me have had no problem with co workers and everyone been nice to me since my first day and the pay is great for me love you guys and very much welcome to help out and bring members along
James S: The people at focus have been have been nothing short of awesome and professional they had me a job before I left the property and were helpful and attentive to all my concerns thank you all so much I refer everyone to you 😊
Nate Rodgers: They have always been good to me.
Jonathan Farrington: People there clearly don't know what they're doing. Applied for a position that had no specific strict skills requirements then they tell me after looking over my application and asking me to call them that it had strict requirements. I would never apply for something I couldn't already do or that hadn't offered training for new said skills. I suggested to them to update their post to add the strict requirements. They took offense to this and got defensive stating who I was speaking with was the one that made them and that the post already had them which was a bold faced lie. When I told them I literally just checked the posts again before calling them they hung up on me. Very unprofessional and they lie.
DaddySmores85: Absolutely the worst phone call I've ever had setting up a phone interview. Abby with force workforce was very short, had no positive energy and it took me a few responses to get her to tell me where to even go. I can see why this company has such horrible reviews. I'll look for a job elsewhere with a much better company from employees who actually value their job. First impressions are a big part of getting people in and this company was the worse.
Anthony Silva: Unable to provide any information. You will basically be going into an unknown job at an unknown location for unknown amount of money. They will take a percentage of the money either way.
Jack Huff: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,ValueWhen I applied they said starting from $19 to $23 an hour and whenever I came in they said the position they had available was starting at $12.50 for overnights only, a complete waste of time.
dio.444: Whatever you do, don''t work for this temp agency. I worked for them for 1 1/2 months, They will tell you one thing about pay and the opposite happens the following friday. In this time every friday I was told my direct deposit would be setup just to have it on their sketchy paycard on payday. Management is lazy and sketchy at best. Heard multiple horror stories of them laying everyone off because money came up missing. If your looking for work and these people call you, RUN.
Anthony Armstrong: A good group of people. they found me employment with a great company and quickly. very professional.I recommend them to anyone who wants to work
