Jennifer Hewitt: The coolest atmosphere in Springfield, MO. When I walked in for a late night drink, we were greeted with friendly staff and an amazing atmosphere. There are spaces and different styles of sections. It was a beautiful collaboration of industrial aerospace, 1930's, modern meets Victorian, and handcrafted wood elements. The vibe was a beautiful open space with your own little nook. You could be in a cozy booth to overlook the restaurant, high-top tables in the middle, or on the elevated center stage that has beautiful tiles that remind you of the 1930s with brass stools.Okay, I loved the space. Can you tell?The drinks were delicious! I'm grateful for their friendly service and suggestions on what to get for my friends. We had a great time! They also had a really amazing singer too. I'm sure he is going to he famous, because he has an amazing voice and great enthusiasm.I haven't had the food yet, but I can't wait to go back!

Justin Jewett: Came in with a group of nine tonight at 5. Server warned us it was his first day and he did well at taking our orders. Once food started coming out we ran into issues. One of our meals, grilled shrimp and scallops, trailed the other eight meals by roughly 25 minutes. After dinner it took about 38 minutes to get our checks, server had trouble splitting the checks. Finally got the checks and it took another 22 mins to run the cards. At no point in time did a manager ever stop by or walk around anywhere within view of the dining area.Our server was doing the best with what he could handle but he was left high and dry by lack of competent management. There’s a zero percent chance we will ever return here again.

Jennifer Raynes: If you want to learn to dance, I highly recommend taking dance classes with Andy, at Dance With Me. He's so patient with beginners, positive, enthusiastic, and talk about talented!! Classes are fun and you won't feel out of place. Prices are reasonable and so well worth it!

Andy really knows his stuff, and every time I go dance out in the wild, I appreciate how he teaches even more. Anne is full of tactful dance tips and cultivates a wonderful atmosphere at the Savoy. They also have the most spacious wood dance floor I've seen anywhere in the Springfield area. Do yourself a favor and take classes!

Emma was an excellent teacher and deftly managed our two different learning styles. She didn't just teach us a routine, she taught us what dancing truly involves so we would feel natural and at ease even if we were nervous. Highly recommend Dance with Me for anyone interested in learning to dance!

I have always wanted to take a dancing class and we've never found the time so we contacted Dance with Me at the Savoy Ballroom. This place is great and here are a few reasons why:1) This place worked with us to find a time to fit our very limited travel schedule as we passed through Springfield.2) Andy was our instructor. He was patient, and thorough, and I felt like we left our session really getting down the basics he tried to teach us. (We worked on east coast swing.)3) Andy covered several different minor things as we went through the lesson that I know we would have figured out had we been just watching a video. And those little things make all the difference. Lessons are the way to go!4) The Savoy Ballroom is in downtown Springfield and it is a neat venue! We really enjoyed seeing their venue and having class in it.5) Dancing doesn't come easy for my husband, and I'm not too great at it and pretty self-conscious. Andy kept the mood very lighthearted, and the ballroom has curtains all around so there are no street watchers.In short, if you'd like to try some private lessons out, I would highly recommend it

Beginner, intermediate, or advanced you won't be dissapointed doing a private lesson or attending a group lesson!

Paige Jamison: Before our wedding my now husband and I decided to take a few lessons at Dance With Me. Our instructor, Obie, did an amazing job editing our song, choreographing our first dance, breaking it down so we could learn each step and helping us get in sync. Not only did it help us create a beautiful memory of our wedding day, but it was just a fun overall experience. Jasmine Shanz: I love Martha’s! I always feel safe every time I go here, and the drinks are good! The only complaints is that last night when I went, the music was horrible. Half of the songs were stuff that me and my friends have never heard, and the transitions from one song to another was not good at all. The other complaint was that whenever I paid for my entry, I walked past the security not knowing Martha’s now scans as I haven’t been to this establishment in over a year and that is something very new, plus I did not see a scanner in sight. I only walked a few steps past the security guard and stopped a few feet away from him as I was waiting for my friends to pay and he shouted in the loudest, most rudest voice “hey” and pretty much drew unnecessary attention to the situation. I understand that it’s his job and that we are scanned for safety measures, but it was an honest mistake plus I was close enough to where he literally could have said “hey miss” in a normal tone rather than yelling at me like I’m a criminal and causing a scene. This honestly ruined my mood for the entire night as it was super embarrassing and now I’m kind of iffy on if I will return for a while. Other than the rude security and the music though, it was an okay time, and every other time I’ve been here had been amazing!

Would be better if we could have enjoyed the entertainment. Left in 45 minutes.

Seldom do they even come close comparing here in the States. From the first bite, Café Cusco, however, had enjoying the food as if I were actually sitting in country! Brian Higgins: Hands down one of the best bars/ restaurants in downtown Springfield. On top of there already amazing drink menu, their kitchen never fails to serve up some amazing one of a kind culinary genius. It’s a fun, safe, and unique atmosphere you can’t find anywhere else! Very accommodating, we had made a reservation, they had a table set out just for us! Our waitress was so nice, she made absolutely sure the order was right, and the food arrived in the right amount of time. But....hmm. The food was disappointing, and overpriced for what we got. Two of us got the Cubano, which looked pretty good, but neither ate the whole thing. I got the Ropa Veiga, which really wasn't worth $24. The rice and vegetables half of it was kind of ok, but the beef brisket part had no flavor at all...just a texture. I asked for some salt, kept putting on more and more, and finally all I tasted was the salt. There were a couple of other dishes ordered by others in our group, but overall we were rather disappointed in the quality and small portions of the food versus the price. It's too bad, we all love trying unique dishes, and a couple of the people in our party have had amazing Cuban food in other places. 3 stars because they tried so hard, but in the end, it's really about the food. So, my summary: Very, very good service, nice atmosphere, but overpriced and bland food. Won't be back.

Jamie Moore: Not related to the food, but my family and I were parked in the private parking out back waiting to go in to eat when one of the cooks came out to our car and rudely told us to move our car because the lot was private parking. We explained that we know and we're just waiting to go inside until our daughter woke up from her nap. He continues to motion to us move and that the lot was private parking. We love commercial street and the local businesses and respect the private lots, but the entire lot was pratically empty, so we were not taking the spot away from customers. We will not be eating at the restaurant again.
