Lake Springfield Park and Boathouse: what do users think?
Snow Popis: $24 for two kayak rentals for an hour right before sunset. Wondeful staff! Friendly, knowledge, and we had a great experience.
Joey F: The location is great. The park, grass and all of the grounds are beautifully maintained. The lake itself, however, yuk. Stall stagnant stinky moss and algae filled water. Almost guaranteed to catch something coming in contact with that water. Wouldn't let my dogs in it and wouldn't bother taking my kayaks there. We'll do fellows lake for kayin'. Aside from that, it's a beautiful place.
Travis Southern: Nice park with a decent lake to fish in has a place to stay out of the rain and a playground for the kids and a decent amount of grills for a cookout not the worst park in Springfield MO for sure I guess I could recommend it for fishing blue fill and bass and catfish and occasionally you can get a spoonbill but almost always wrapped up with fishing line please clean up all of your fishing line and anytime you see some laying around please pick it up keep our lakes clean for our kids and our kids kids for the love of God .
Heather Roberson: What a wonderful place! Ive lived in Springfield for many years and have never been here until today. I have learned the error of my ways. This place is amazing! Theres kayaks and canoes to rent, a park to enjoy, frisbee golf course, playground for the kids with picnic tables. My family plans on coming soon to enjoy some of the amenities. It was so nice to be able to see a wide variety of waterfowl so close to a major city. Thank you to the Park Board for this wonderful gem!
Mindy Rosella Chambers: A beautiful place to hike and see aome beauty. I dont like that theyve cut all the scrubbery out. Its no longer as magical as it once was. But it still has some pretty views overlooking the lake. A great atomostphere too.
mando rodarte: Playground: Great view
Darren Scott: Lovely
Echo Alexzander: A beautiful park with lots to see and do!
M C: A nice park with easy trail. Saw some wild deers and ducks..
Lilith Conn: Pretty
Blair Furstenberg: Always well taken care of.
Joshua Spurgeon: An enormous park property with a nice lake!Plentiful parking areas.Large gravel parking area near lake.
David Vance: We had an awesome little outing. We are unfamiliar with the area and considered ourselves lucky to happen upon this place we paddled and fished up the river area. Very beautiful
Carla Smith: Had an amazing time! Went on the Intro to Kayaking class with Robin and Erin. It was great. Ladies were helpful and didn't let sky of us drown. Very important. Great place gorgeous views!!!
Jacob William: Wonderful nature space. Uncrowded, excellent wooded hiking trail system, great green spaces, play equipment, and a very nicely marked disc golf course. The only thing needed is an extension of the paved trailway for the elderly and parents pushing a baby.
Igor Pulbere: We went kayaking on the lake, weather was nice, kids enjoyed the ride
Brandon Lauthern: A nice venue for small gatherings. It has picturesque surroundings, feels secluded, and is a neat and clean facility.
Melissa Haddix: We celebrated our grandsons graduation party here and it was very nice!
Meko Bahl: Fishing, glaring at people and getting glared at. People kayaking and smiling...it was fine, although i did lose some of a tooth, which made me have a painic attack.I guess that's really not Springfield lakes responsibility ....also, there's a lot of snakes there in the water.
Pamela Keller: Beautiful, families walking with their pets. Others and fathers with their children and their canoes and boats and fisherman in their boats catching fish. The birds flying over in the water which is beautiful so clean so much fun loved it.
Kage Foundation: I love the new 18 hole disc golf course!!

Southwood Canoe Access & Trail of Honor: what do users think?
Morgan: Pretty place! Great place to soak in some pure nature on the trail!
Mike Scott: Be nice if they would grate the boat ramp...
Amanda Blair: Was a great place to paddle our canoe and kayak to. U can call an Uber to shuttle u back to ur vehicle for under $20 before tips. The ramp does need work and brush removed.
SEAN B: Hard to fish this area unless you Kayak fish. Its great access for kayaking.
Natalya Abubakirova: You have to know exactly reason why you come at this place. Clean and wide landscape. It is good walking road.
Mrs. Speidel: This was an easy hike for our kids and our dog. Don't forget your bug spray!
Richard Griffith: The bathrooms are always a joke. And some vending machines would be nice. But good parking and nice place to drop some kayaks.
Christopher Domingue: Looks like a nice place where someone could put a yak in and paddle around. Water looked deep enough to find decent fish as well.
Ethan Walker: Amazing day on the water , nice spot to put in the kayaks , there was some trash around but otherwise really nice.
Glenda Couvillion Reavis: Watch for snakes will chase you in boats 🚣‍♂️
Jeremy Duncan: Easy access to the water for small boats like kayaks and canoes.
Sloane Deterding: Such a great place to put in and super fun!
Christopher Pettijohn: It provides a wonderful reminder of all the Heros that have gone before to give us all the chance to grow and work and learn to love one another. There are many accesses to fish. This is a must see. Just being there will move you..
Vladi Garbuzov: A nice trail, when there's a good weather.
William Whaley: They need to just do away with the restroom altogether, it is an embarrassment to the city. Not bad put in for canoes and kayaks. They have blocked off the old boat ramp which has done a good job or cutting down on motorboats on the lake. Nice place to paddle around a little .
Stephanie Beeson: Bathroom is disgusting, basically a hole in the floor. It is easy to get in and out of with kayaks. We take out here quite often. Fishing is so-so.
John Stroup: Great place to launch a kayak or canoe. Good swimming spot on opposite bank
David Simmons: Good place to launch a kayak or canoe. Bank fishing available.
Paul Hinkle: Good fishing there clean area
Kaegan Myers: Really good access for Kayaks but the boat ramp is blocked until further notice. Not a lot of parking but they're all truck+trailer accessable.
TheBraps: Springfields bank access to fishing is the worst I have ever seen. The few places they have are over crowded and pressured that fishing is miserable in the city.

Fellows Lake Marina: what do users think?
Robert de Wild: Amazing staff! Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable
Tina Johnson-Perryman: There's a mother cotton mouth with eggs under the large rocks by the boat ramp. Be careful she is quite large.
TheAlderman G: Rented out 2 kayaks with a friend went fishing and was a great time will definitely be back
Pam Wright: My, what a wonderful time My Husband and Son had at Fellows Lake. The hospitality was tremendous as the workers greeted them with so much care and with a pontoon to enjoy and fish on our vacation. Later that evening we all had a wonderful boat ride and enjoyed being with family! Thanks again!
Karen Dellenbach: Love the trails!!!
Catherine Alderman: We really like this lake. It's usually pretty quiet, nice size, nice location. It's easily accessible and surrounded by trees instead of houses. Cost for annual non motorized boat pass is $20. Daily is $10. We enjoy a day out canoeing.
Jessie Janet Gleason Haworth: Quiet & tranquil lake & surrounds. Great hiking trails, remodeled marina; sailing & kayak lessons/rentals. Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff.
Eric Peterson: This is a wonderful place for Silent Sports. We're teaching sailing classes - come join us!
Pam Herd-Price: Still illegally business name Fellows Lake Marina. You need to remove Fellows Lake Marina since that business wasn't purchased. And, I don't know how many of you supporting this business has $140K pocket change to lose, but this was the most underhanded acquisition of a business....work 9 years and didn't receive a dime for the business and they get to capitalize on the 63 years of a business purchased and run by individuals.
Daniel Mullen: I'm very happy with my slip and the staff at the marina!
NOREEN PARRISH: Nice fishing spots and huge lake with plenty of room for everyone.
Donald Webb: Great lake and great staff at the Marina..
Sanja: Beautiful nature, very nice and clean, and well maintained. They have everything for a convenient day out there, boats to rent, picnic areas with grills, playground, cute little shop where you can buy snacks. We talked to few people who work there, they were nice and helpful.
Michael Romero: Nice facility , kid friendly , with many trails to explore down to the lake.
Brooke Antrim: What is that thing???? Any guesses?
Eric Weiskopf: Had a great visit yesterday with Mr Taylor. He knows all about the place. So much positive energy going on at Fellows now. Took some pics of Uncle Frank's mountain bike trail for y'all.
Keith DOC Reed: Very nice
Trapper Meadors: Nice quiet place to relax.
Bryan Menzie: Personnel were pleasant to do business with and the lake was excellent for kayaking.
Nick Billionis: Bad info, bad posting, bad hours. Play pond is all it is.
Hughes B-Correct: Always love fellows lake.
