Replacing the engagement ring and wedding band I wore for 19 years was such a sad situation but John was able to help turn it into a positive. He was very helpful and patient with me as I am super picky. He worked with me until I got exactly what I wanted and the end product is beautiful. I often get compliments on my new wedding set. His prices are very fair which I didn’t realize until I started comparison shopping for my wedding ring replacement at other local shops. I wouldn’t trust any other jeweler!

Blues Fan: Picture this. This "shop" is located INSIDE A HAIR SALON. He has about a 10 square feet space, the carpeting was that of a bad 1970's porno flick shag rug. His 10 foot square "shop" is surrounded by cabinets facing HIM so you can't see what, if anything is in there. And I wanted to sell a Diamond channel set ring. He offered me $50 for the ring. I'd been to one shop already and was doing a little comparison shopping before I sold it. I ended up selling it to a reputable, brick and mortar jewelry store for $400. That's FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS. Let the customer beware!!

I recently returned to have both our wedding rings "tuned up" (checked diamond settings while ensuring structure was maintained and reinforced were needed due to normal wear and tear. Becca Wilson: Took a few pieces in for repair and basically every piece he messed up in some way- he stated he used sterling silver for an earring back, however I have a nickel allergy which is in a lot of metal alloys used for jewelry and the earring he repaired is causing the same nickel irritation I've experienced multiple times (ie pain, bleeding, irritation). The other earrings he "fixed" were done very sloppily with epoxy and is already loose. He also overcharged me quite significantly to put a jump ring on a gold-plated chain. Oh and he took twice as long as he stated to take for a few simple repairs. He was very friendly and courteous but nevertheless I would never recommend him nor return there. Sorry!

I visited at least 30 different jewelers to find the perfect engagement ring and I found exactly what I was looking for at Kessler-Mroz. Mike is certainly a salesman but he still seems like a stand-up guy that wouldn't take advantage of your lack of knowledge just to earn an extra buck. He informed me of every aspect of the diamond grading process and could not have been more helpful. I can not say enough good things about my experience here.
Rosina Orr: High praise long overdue. My daughter was married this past August here in St. Louis. While she and her bridesmaids were getting ready I presented her with an heirloom diamond pendant to wear at the ceremony. That was when I discovered the chain was broken. I scrambled to find a jewelry store and found Kessler Mroz just two blocks from the hotel where we were staying. I arrived at Kessler Mroz at 1pm and worked with Michael Mroz. With his help I chose a chain that complimented the pendant perfectly. Normally it would have required 24 hours to repair but the challenge was to have it done by 4pm. Knowing my circumstance Micheal worked his magic. It was ready, polished to a brilliance I’d never seen before, boxed and delivered with plenty of time to spare. Michael was honest, knowledgeable and accommodating saving the day. He made it possible for me to give my daughter the wedding gift I’d always hope to. Thank you Micheal!
Chris Jansen: I had purchased my first ever watch and was in need of getting links removed. I brought it to work with me and went to Mroz because it was close to my office. I talked with the guy (Mike?) about quartz and swiss movements and explained I was brand new to watches so any information would be helpful. After some good conversation and watching him remove links he informed me it would be $25 dollars for the resizing. Being a $450 dollar watch and inexperienced I figured the gentlemen was giving me standard prices. Fast forward 4 months and 12 watches later I am much more knowledgeable and am coming to write this review because I was so disappointed that someone would take full advantage of a "beginner". Since that time I purchased my own link removal kit ($20 on amazon) and have replaced links myself. For my higher end watches I have taken my business to Van Vinciguerra across the street who charged me $5 to have my watches resized. Needless to say be very weary of the information/prices being fed to you at this business.

We just bought a replacement and I can’t say enough about the experience! Van listened to what I wanted, let me try on lots of different rings, and ordered a ring that arrived within 24 hours.
