Alpine Shop - Kirkwood, MO: what do users think?
Kyle Mann: Worst place to buy shoes. They maje comission and are reluctant to allow you to test shoes. Try Big River, Fleet Feet, Running Niche, REI, or even Amazon before shopping for shoes here.
Dave C: We were trying to find a trekking pole to match one that my wife already owned - and this store had it!Seems like a trivial thing maybe, but they shipped it out right away and it was a perfect match! Thanks VERY much!
greg9642: A+ experience. Ask for Spencer and he will hook you right up.
Scott Perdue: I got my mountain bike cleaned here and it appears that they contaminated my brake pads with something (probably chain lube) and now my brakes squeal terribly. I'll probably have to replace the pads to fix it, but I think I'll be taking it elsewhere for that.
John Randall: I brought my dad in for the Spring Showcase in April to look at Kayak’s. Ben was very knowledgeable and honestly an asset to anyone interested in outdoor recreation. Our new Jackson Kayak won’t be the last thing we buy here. Thanks for all of the help Ben.
Bob Hines: A great local place to get all of your outdoor needs. Friendly and knowledgeable staff always willing to help you find exactly what you are looking for.
Brandon: Shop local! Awesome staff very friendly and informative. Will return for my outdoor needs.
Chris Doebert: Best place for anything snow in St. Louis. I've been reliably buying gear from them for years. The people there always hook me up and I've never been disappointed.
Bradlb03: Went to get fitted for ski boots and to get bindings mounted, one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a business. Even though it was incredibly busy and they were short staffed, everyone was extremely friendly. I ended up leaving with exactly what I came for.
Leigh Hellrung: Great selection, awesome service. There was a bin full of drinks at the door in case you were thirsty!
KING OFSTADIA: Great Store, a bit on the pricey side but completely expected.....
Sean Zalmanoff: There was a mistake made with a couple pairs of bindings and skis. The "mistake" ended up being OK, but Eric and the rest of the guys in the ski department owned it and made the experience positive. We had a good resolution, but they offered to do really anything I wanted. It was great to deal with people do the right thing!
Kevin Guo: Great for ski and snowboard stuff
Susan Pregon: Best Hiking Everything! From clothing to shoes. Alpine shop has itBest part is the service. All staff are fabulous, but a special shout out to Sye and Angie, who helped me time and again, to fix a pesky hiking shoe fitting issue . They are super amazing!
karen mccoy: Very helpful sales people, both on the phone and in person. Thanks, Maria, for helping me find the perfect trekking stick with a dual-function handle that functions as either a stick or a cane. Great local business.
lance alfredson: I had such a great experience with an online order . None of the mega camping sites had the backpack, I wanted, in all 3 colors available. Caleb put me on hold went and personally verified they had all 3 colors, took my order and shipped them the same day!! I will definitely recommend to friends and absolutely use this shop as much as possible!!
C Pope: My goto shop for disc golf supplies! This is a really fun store to browse in. They also have a really good bike department. We have brought our bikes in now and then for service and they always do a great job. The bikes are also ready when promised. Their staff is helpful if you have questions. I highly recommend this place for all your outdoor needs. They are great!
Mike Wildhaber: This is the place to go if you want quality stuff . I bought a pair of hiking/ casual shoes 👞 a nd they are super nice.
Matt Morrison: Eric helped me pick my kayak, paddle, and cart. Showed me how to strap my boat in my truck. Very helpful great local business to support
Thomas Kibbee: I had a relatively simple need for a specialized washer. The bike manufacturer would take forever to get it to me so I popped into the Alpine. They tossed me one and I am going to make sure they are lauded for the assistance. If you need sports related items, go there.Want to learn a new sport, get to the Alpine.Bored? Buy a pizza and share with those guys. They will entertain you.
Pavel Mykhaylenko: Receiving hours 9 to 5 .

Zumiez: what do users think?
Jackie Davis: I don't usually shop here, but my partner does- and I usually wander in to find him. As soon as I come in, the staff greets me and offers to help me find what I'm looking for. (Sometimes they just point me towards my partner, haha!) The music is great, the staff is SO friendly, and the selection is nice too! I love the LGBTQ+ Support at the door.
Alley Carlton: very sweet staff, always feel welcome here & love all the merchandise
Johnny Smith: They got good service
Brandon King: Friendliest staff on the planet 🌬-Majin
Carly Le: They got hard goods n gear. Some of the staff skate and provide some knowledge. But still support your local skateshop.
Maple_slurp: Awesome. Dude at the desk was nice, too 🤙
Lukas Surowiec: Great if your into more of the skating companys and some skate boards
Cecil W. Adams: Cool place! Super helpful staff! I really enjoyed my visit!
Gregory Chandler (AlternativeOne): They sell skateboards. That all I'll ever visit for. The inventory was rather disappointing skateboard parts out or in low supply. I have had exceptional experiences with the website but the local mall stores are kinda disappointing. Still gonna rate 5 stars cause they sell skateboards and that's all I shop for when I visit.
ValproTheBeast: If I were to go to a skateboarding chain, zumiez would be it. Shoes could be better though.
darrell gallagher: Place is awesome for alternative fashion and decor. Friendly engaging staff.
Paul King: Picked up items for daughter
sunny morgan: Obsessed
Crailslideyoface: It’s Zumiez... Why are you here?
Michele Murphy: Kyrah was awesome
CryStyles By Stylz Wilson: Its a really cool store. I would love to see my brothers Enkd Brand sold here.
T B: Love you Jamal 💛
Bridget B.: As soon as we walked through the door, Sonny asked if we needed assistance and when we did, he came to help us right away. Great shopping experience!
Adam Llamas: People were friendly and helpful!definitely be back sometime in the future!
John Bumbera: Nice but few employee's

Alpine Shop - Chesterfield MO: what do users think?
Chris Hodge: To be honest I did not initially want to review this business in order to remain fair since, alas, I did not make a purchase. However, the store manager, knowing I was out of my element, took his time to give me plenty of useful advice. Even after realizing they did not have what I needed, he gave me tips and tricks on where and what to look for regarding my situation. I would have likely spent a decent amount of money had my early preparations been out of season. I plan on waiting for new stock and seasonal changing before I go back again.
Gail Westerman: Nice store.
andrew mitchelson: Good customer service
Jonathan Riezman: This is not an outdoor shop, it is an overpriced clothing shop. If I can't get a bicycle tire here what is the point?
Michael “S” Clark: Mike Hall is a great person 👏 👌, he will help you have the most fun in life possible.
Susan Wells: This store has pretty pricey stuff, but they have such a great selection of cool camping gear. Also, the employees are always helpful. I love it.
Pat V: Nice selection of clothing. Got some great socks as a gift.
Cheryl Wambach: Bayfield store, helpful staff
AWM: Great experience with Mike in the shoe department when buying a pair of women's hiking boots. Mike was exceptionally knowledgeable and very patient when asked questions. Well organized store overall with a friendly staff. Thank you!
Gil Garcia: Great service 👏
Dan Leavitt: Very clean and organized store. Clerks are very knowledgeable and helpful. I will go back.
Shaun Kelly: Always helpful and informative.
Suswana Chatterjee: A store with great collection and friendly staff! I recently found out even if they don’t have the color or size you are looking for, they order it to be brought from the warehouse and call you once they receive it. The time estimate I was given was dot on point. Michael helped me differentiate the jackets and was very knowledgeable!
Jessica Kruse: Great outdoor adventure clothing and customer service.
Ryan Poertner: Nice friendly staff. I think expected a similar store to the one on kirkwood. Was disappointed when there were less options here than expected. But still a good resource.
John Campbell: Staff was incredibly helpful and patient. Support the local shop!
Carton Steam: Super friendly and helpful.
Jennifer Humphrey: I could spend several paychecks here. Great quality items. My favorite purchase so far has been sunglasses. My son loves his winter coat and gloves. They also have some unique gift ideas on hand. The staff are friendly and helpful. The store layout makes it easy to find what you're looking for.
TIMOTHY STEELE: Customer Service was top class!
Pickle Relish: Love the staff here and the wide clothing selection. Highly recommend for finding a winter coat or light jacket.
Phuong Tran: We are from Minnesota visiting my brother and his family. After stopping in at Barnes and Nobel, we saw a ski shop. My husband is looking for a new ski jacket. We were greeted by an older lady, hi! I asked if they carried spyder jackets, her response yeh in the back..... maybe I offended her by asking that. Like duh of course they have it. Who knows. Or maybe I was asian, or maybe we just didn’t look like we had the money to buy a 500.00 ski jacket. We walked back, the selection was very small so he tried one jacket and it was too small, they didn’t have an extra large. As he’s looking down to put the jacket back on the hanger, his mask slips down his nose exposing his nose for 10 seconds, and no one was in the store. She rushes right over, oh anything u try on I have to quarantine it, and your mask has to go over your nose. I really thought she was coming over to tell us anything u try on, if it doesn’t fit we can order in, or we have more sizes in the back..... but we have to quarantine the jacket. Wow! Maybe that’s why the selection was so tiny. All the jackets were in quarantine. Lol That’s the first I had ever heard of that. I have seen at other stores with signs up saying if u try the shoes on please put on this table. So they can sanitize it. Ok fair enough. So my husband hands her the jacket and says we will get out of your store as quickly as we can....her response. THANK YOU! I have been a sales associate for clinic cosmetics for 15 yrs so I know customer service. And her service was RUDE and unacceptable! If she’s the owner or just an associate, either way, more customer training could be helpful. Wished I would’ve recorded our encounter.

The North Face St. Louis Galleria: what do users think?
John Brumit: Best staff service
Priyanka Gupta: Superb
Kyle Koelling: Staff was friendly and helpful. I have called and they never have the one item I want in stock. Not the employees fault or even the manager as be stated they hadn't seen one in months. Sounds like a north face sourcing problem. Overall, store is nice and staff is helpful in getting you what you need.
Hui Li: We purchased two coats from this store. The information plates on the coats were too small to read, so we asked the seller how to wash them. We were told they were machine washable with cold water. But that caused lumps inside the coats. Not happy about their irresponsible service .
Rebecca Davis: I had to make a return on a defective product. The first employee was really sweet, but (I’m assuming) the manager was really rude about it. She said, “well, I’ve never had any returns or problems with this before..” (trust me, there’s reviews online stating it leaked - why would I lie about this?) She was very dismissive, and seemed to take it personally that I was stern about making the return.North Face products are high quality, and good products. I’ll keep buying North Face, but I don’t understand why staff is so rude and dismissive (this was both over the phone with NF customer service, and multiple times in person).
James Campbell: Had 30 Percent off Christmas sale.Items seemed to be marked up first.I bought a pair of gloves for $50.00 they look good but fail to keep my hands warm.
Regina “MzGina2” Middlebrooks: Customer service was great!
Court M: Awful customer service online and I store. I called to exchange or to see what they had in the store and she couldn’t tell me because it was on sale. I don’t understand stand that at all.
gee gee: Great visit! Had a nice lady help me and my son feel welcomed there since we were from Chicago.. Jess I believe was her name! Very helpful and even did great explaining I can get 10% off my purchase! Definitely will be going back! Look for Jess k. If you visit here.
Robert Longiii: After about five minutes of walking around looking at jackets and coats someone finally asked if I needed some help, only to be told nothing on sale. Five more minutes of looking was told if I needed help just shout by another female employee. Just felt like they didn't think I had money to spend? So! The spirit directed me to Eddie bauer!!! Spent $349.00 for a parka, $299.00 for a downlight hooded jacket for a grand total of $648.00, $394.00 on sale!!!!Thank you eddie bauer!!!!
Ricardo TF: Carísimo de París, pero muy buena calidad
Gert Carleton: No kids apparel
A M: This mall is clean and beautiful, easy parking, and good food!
Katie Wilimzig: Today we (my husband and I) had the worst customer service we've ever experienced at any store, ever. At approximately 4pm, we got to the store and the door was closed. The sign on the door said they close at 7pm on Saturdays. We could see several customers browsing inside and a customer at the counter, so we assumed they closed the door because they were at capacity because of Covid restrictions. We had waited outside a couple of other stores due to capacity restrictions, so we waited. Ten minutes later, an employee opens the door, a few customers leave, and he refused to let us in, stating that they're closed. Clearly confused, since it was only 4pm and the fact that other customers were clearly just shopping inside for the entire time we were standing there waiting, we asked what he was talking about. He said, “we’re just closing now.” I pointed out that the sign says 7pm and there’s other customers, and he just stood there looking at us. I said, “we made a trip here to buy some hoodies, and you’re saying that you’re closing for no reason?” He replied, “yes.” You could've knocked me over with a feather. The fact that this employee cares so little about providing customer service that not only were we standing outside the door like idiots for 10 minutes, but he refused to even give any sort of explanation of why the store was closing 3 hours early and why we were being refused entry (again, while there were currently customers in the store). We stood there looking at him for a good 15 seconds waiting for an explanation, an “I'm sorry for the inconvenience”... anything. We were flabbergasted by this employee’s total indifference. I typically buy North Face every year but no longer. Not if this is the type of customer service The North Face thinks is appropriate.
Kirk Bell: Ok
DARNOC: Mixed emotions on this. The menu is changing some good some not so. Regardless of the dish cut the meat in smaller bites not everyone eats with a shovel and I dont want to chew like a cow eating cud.
Harry Rogers: Fantastic!
krishna vamshi: Good products
Deloy Cole: Quality.
faraz khan: Great place for prayer
GI BEE: Besst winter clothing brand at the price!!

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
kristin g: Only had one basketball shoe in my kid’s size. I assumed with them being a sporting goods store they would carry basketball shoes. My bad I guess lol!
Becky Wotawa: Overpriced
Isabelle H: Rude employees and managers. The store is unorganized and the employees just throw packaging trash on the floors.
Kat Marie: Just got double charged for a $79 pair of shoes here, went back to door and they just closed, so door locked. People were standing at the registers and I tried to get their attention but yeah hopefully they'll believe me tomorrow when I come back .. other than that everyone is nice- store is a mess though and it's hard to find things, you kind of have to dig through stuff. Some stuff just kinda falling off hangers, it needs a sweep through and reorganization
debbie diller: They do not take credit cards that do not read in their readers. They are incapable of typing the 16 digits in like all other stores can. Will not ever shop there.
Romeo Garibaldi: Jenna was very kind 😍
caden smlth: Store reeks of racial bias never get another dime of our money
A Leon: Nice store, and great staff.
Patty Vergano: I went to the South County location and was looking at the kayak display when one of the employees asked me if I needed help. He was very knowledgeable about the kayaks and was able to help me determine which type I wanted to purchase. Very nice and large store with lots of merchandise to choose from.
Ricky StrAwhun: They sell absolutely nothing related to hunting. Not a single call or even a camouflage shirt.... Unless your wanting a $100+ pair of under armour leggins I wouldn't advise this place.....
Bob H: I was there on 9/14 at 11:25am. Several employees throughout the store offered help as I shopped- very nice! When I got up to check out at the registers, there was one register open, and the gentleman behind it was having some sort of issues waiting on a lady. Our line grew to five people, at which time the cashier went and found someone to come up and deal with the issue. After waiting about three minutes, with no other cashiers in sight, I left my items on the counter, and left the store. I don’t get it. Lots of employees, but only one cashier. I’m sure I will not return to that store.
Lavel Gordon: I bought my first bike in 35 years that day.
Larry Huskey: Great looking and well staffed location. My first time in a DSG and staff was very friendly, a little disappointed that it appears they only cater to those already in fit conditions. I'm older and trying to rehabilitate to shed pounds and inches. Nothing I could find in the store was going to fit. But I will go back after I downsize a little. lol
matt forchee: Very clean and organized...Staff available just about everywhere... Friendly staff.
Larry Bornemann: Great products, great employees, great store
Anthony Singer: Loved it
Don Gumpert: I learned this is not the place to go for rain gear. I did speak to 2 employees there they were friendly and as helpful as they could be.
Aaron Hayes: Awesome service
timothy george S: Great place to get sports gear. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Good quality selections.
Mary E Hinojosa: Very helpful 👌
John Kohl: All I did was some mittens for riding my motorcycles something they could really take the cold as soon as I walked in the door I was helped immediately I believe they're a little pricey though I don't know about these mittens the label of hot fingers is it just a bunch of bowls a sales pitch well it seems really keep my hands warm what is 20 degrees and I'm driving 50 miles an hour I don't know about the rest of the store it was the end of my work day and I just wanted to go have a beer I'll have to check the place out for another day
