Perfect Taste Sichuan Cuisine: what do users think?
Justin Joselow: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Courtney Hollis: Picture menu. One chili pepper on the menu will have a word man sweating. Wonton soup really good. Boba tea amazing. Super authentic! $60 for two will get you 2 meals, 2 drinks, 2 apps, with tip and tax, and possibly leftovers... Overall decently priced.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
corey cunn: I used to be a regular customer when they were Chinese express on debalivere but everything has changed for the worst… (Other than the store appearance) That bowl is huge but the serving size is petty and it’s a little funny tasting. The rice is not the rice I’m used to it’s salty and there’s still alot of white rice in my “fried rice”. The rice isn’t burnt but it tastes like it was cooked in a burnt pot that maybe hasn’t been cleaned? I’m pretty dissatisfied especially taking into the consideration of the price. I was a fan for 25 years but I will not be revisiting.
Stella: Authentic Chinese cuisine! The servings are family size and meant to be shared. I love the bao buns and sweet and sour fish. Now I know where to go when I'm craving Chinese food.
ReGina Givens: Generous portions, I’m basic and got the chicken fried rice and steamed shrimp dumplings, my friend got the sweet and sour fish and pork soup dumplings. We sampled each other’s food- she didn’t like the dumplings but I did so it’s probably up to your taste. The lemonade was yum! Overall very happy we stopped by. Great customer service.
Eduardo Sequeira: Very good and spicy Chinese foods everything was really well done.Good customer service.
Larry Liang: Food is extremely salty. After eating the food, both my wife and I had stomach trouble.
Dwight Ong: Decent Food. A little pricey. Nothing really Remarkable.I’ll start off with the good. Loved the chef special fried chicken. Really tasted great like the homemade Chinese fried chicken that I’m used to. So I can highly recommend. The Mapo Tofu was also alright and the portions are quite a lot.As for the soup dumplings, they are horrible. I would not recommend as they barely had any soup inside them and tasted a bit off. Not a fan. The rice portions are rather small, I can’t tell if it’s the usual size since they are currently only using disposable plates which is also a bit of a bummer considering their main dishes were alright.I would like to think I would give this place one more chance and maybe try something different to change my my mind. However for the time being I cannot personally recommend it as being a good choice for a top Chinese restaurant on the loop.
Mark: Went there today and had the steam bbq pork buns, clear noodles in chili oil, and the sesame chicken. This is easily the #1 Chinese restaurant in St. Louis in my book. The food was great!Edit: I have been back at least 5 times since posting this review and I have tried several other dishes (authentic, not Americanized). They have all been great and full of flavor. I continue to believe this place has the best Chinese food in St. Louis.
Kareem Azab: Amazingly authentic food... And really delicious. Try the fish .... Or the lamb... Amazing!
victoria bicem: Really good food great customer service
Sedonia Sipes: Way too salty. We ordered cucumber salad, dan dan noodles, and green beans. I love salt, but could not eat more than about a quarter of my food. My husband found it inedible and couldn’t eat more than a few bites of his dish plus the plain rice. We ate here pre-pandemic, and it was good. We informed the server, who said the cook was new and took $6 off the check. We regret having to leave over 3/4 of the food on the table. I don’t think we’ll be going back.
Tyson Charbonnier: Portions a little small, but fantastic taste.
Lord Rev. Shaun Boswell: Was nice and clean. They do everything either to-go or on paper plates. The food was amazing. Fresh, and they changed a dish to fit my friends dietary needs. Wontons in chili sauce were a great appetizer. Not sure what we had, but it was a pork dish, and made the same but with chicken.
Anthony Frisella: I’ve been to the other standout Asian restaurants in St. Louis - Corner 17, Mai Lee, Pho Long - and this place is up there. Delicious, filling mala hot pot with pork, chicken, and beef protein chunks, spicy oil, and sichuan peppercorns. Crispy cauliflower was savory and delicious. Classic pork soup dumplings were also perfect. The service was friendly and efficient.
STEEZ: This place was not for me. I was just trying things. Doesn’t mean you won’t like it.
Candy Boyd: Very delicious, and lovely people
Hannah Dixon: Came in knowing nothing about this place. Prices and food were great, unexpectedly large portions
LA LA The Clown: Really fantastic service at this place. They're lemonade had lemons in the glass. And had a really nice flavor. Their Kung bao chicken was very good. And their vegetables were cooked so they weren't mushy. The vegetables had a nice crunch to them. But we're not completely raw. The sweet and sour fish. Is definitely delicious. It had a nice crispy crunch on the outside. And the fish was very moist and steamy on the inside. Definitely something to try. The servers are very fast in getting our drinks. As well as keeping them refilled throughout our dinner. Don't let the paper plates fool you. Definitely some delicious food in this restaurant.
Yang: Food was good, especially the Mapo Tofu. The only problem I had was with their takeout container, which was too flimsy and leaked all over.
Dennis Gordick: Very clean, staff is friendly. Food smelled amazing. Was just a delivery driver but still a good experience.

Brien Bednara: Authentic Chinese food, reminded me of our trip to China before the pandemic. The szechuan fish had that numbing heat I have rarely found in the US. There are a lot of options but not overwhelming. The garlic eggplant just melted in your mouth, so good! Service and atmosphere were nice as well. We will return to chilispot soon.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Eggplant with Garlic Sauce, Szechwan Style Boiled Fish in Chili Oil …More

David Lianpu: Best Restaurant in St. Louis!! Hand down fast delicious and if you like spicy it’s for you
Lulu Brinkley: Great authentic Chinese restaurant. One of the more "real" places to eat. Service is fast and food is great. They do get pretty busy over the weekend. I recommend just about everything on their menu. If you like spicy food, you can't go wrong going here.
John J: We are so happy we checked this place out. We don’t usually repeat many restaurants, but we went back here a couple of times in the first month.

Piyush Srivastava: The only spicy Sichuan Chinese food which could satisfy my craving for the authentic experience. Oh! I wish I found out this earlier. The portion size is very generous so order accordingly. Spice level is authentic Sichuan. Very fast and sweet servers. I am in love with this place now!! MUST TRY.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available. Not sure about veganParking: Outside parking
Janice Smith: Home made tofu!!! Never had it before and now any other tofu is ruined for me.
Lers Agapovich: The best restaurant in saint Louis
Chino: Excellent food!
Study Account: Authentic Chinese food, portion sizes, are enough for 3 to 4 people so you can share things with family. A little heavy on spices but I prefer that. Plenty of parking. Incredibly cheap prices for the quality. Will come here again.
A B: My new favorite Southern Chinese restaurant.

Andrea Watts: Have you been craving good takeout and want generous portions? Me too. I’m about to stuff myself. Best hot and sour soup ever.
Stacey Eldridge: Food is great but horrible customer service!!!! They WILL hang up on you in the middle of an order.
Christy Calhoun Miller: Fried rice overcooked. Crab Rangoon iffy. Would not recommend.
Ryan Coyle: Their website states that General Tso's chicken chef specialty plate is $7.20, but I was charged $12 and pointed to an apparently updated menu, which didn't help for call-in ordering. Then when I got the box out of the very messy bag from the sauce leaking all over (not a big deal), I'm almost positive they gave me pork instead of chicken. There's much better Chinese around.
Keaton Adams: They close at 9pm. I called at 8:56pm, so I was “that customer” - but they gladly served me and I picked up the delicious food 15 minutes later.Love the fried rice. This is my first review, and I am so grateful for China Dish.
Jake Wheeler: 100% St. Louis style Chinese takeout. Time capsule of delicious dishes. Always fresh and fast. This is a hidden south side gem.
Aaron Walker: This place is what you would expect—bargain Chinese food. Not terrible, but not particularly good either. I got the hunan beef, which was alright. I wouldn’t recommend the fried wonton appetizer, which had almost no filling and was flavorless. Note that its $10 minimum for credit cards, and they add a small fee on top of that.Dine in: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
Britni Norman: RUDE RUDE RUDE!!!! FOOD IS BLAND AND MUSHY JUST NOT WORTH IT. BUT MOST IMPORTANLY THEY WILL GET OVER ON YOU EVERY TIME .... ALWAYS MAKING UP NEW PRICES DAILY AND OVERCHARGING AFTER TOTAL PRICE WAS GIVING WHEN ORDING. NEVER ORDING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN NO RESPECT AT ALL THE LADY IS (CRAZY) RUDE AS HELL SHE YELLS AND SCREAMS WHEN TALKING (DISRESPECTFUL) AND CANT COUNT NOR ADD. I WOULD NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME THERE SO MANY OTHER PLACES AROUND DONT EVEN BOTHER IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD
Angela Brooks: Good food. Prices not high.
Gene Kain: Best Chinese around. Sweet and Sour Chicken is consistently good.
Mz Rabbitt: I called in a large order for delivery, over 100 dollars. The lady that took the order called me back and said you have no money on your card. This was not true. She cannot understand English well and was yelling at me and wouldn't let me talk. She hung up on me. I tried to call back and got the answering machine. I then ordered from Fortune Express with no problems. I called the lady back that hung up on me to tell her I had no problem ordering from a different place. She continued to raise her voice, interrupt, and hung up on me again. This was my favorite place to order Chinese. Not anymore.
Jennifer: Delicious food! My favorite Chinese
Julie Robinson: Did pickup for some laborers & everything was hot, beautifully done, & cheap af. The location is actually next to the carwash, not across the street like google map app took me, which is unusual in the city, but still worth the extra drive around.
Cydnee Wright: Been coming for over 12 years to this Mom and Pop place and it's great never had one issue ever . Never missing items always delicious. Xoxo
Onii Chan: pretty good food i came there every so few months
Aaron Thomas: I ordered shrimp fried rice with extra egg and bean sprout. Truly amazing stuff!
Heather Stone: Consistent. Delicious. Affordable. Locally owned. Been ordering from there for 4 years now. Go to place in South city
Courtney Motley: AMAZING! We had a rather large order sent to our hotel. It arrived super quick and hot! So tender and the flavor was great! I'd rate it at the very top of my scale!! Must check it out, I know I will

Joy Luck Chinese Buffet: what do users think?
Gabe Johnson: I love Joy Luck. The Coconut shrimp is literally my favorite food.
jazzyinmay: Horrible! I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS. Everything needed to be updated—nothing was inviting about this place walking in. Even the plates were stained. Food was NOT fresh, looked like it had been sitting ALL day & my family & I went around 7:30pm. Not much was that tasty. Boiled shrimp wasn't cleaned. The only thing that looked somewhat decent/fresh was the fruit & dessert. As I attempted to sift through my plate to see what WAS edible, I found a maggot in my broccoli!!! This was my first time coming here & was a recommendation from my cousin who'd been here years ago, horrible impression! The workers were sort of helpful, which is why I gave 3 stars instead of one. Got drinks wrong but corrected them, refunded the whole table after I saw the bug, but I'd never come here again & would never recommend this place!!!

Brianna Adams: The most honest review you will find.Hot pot was $26.99per person. We drove 2 1/2 hours because we were craving hot pot and this was the closest. The food was okay I enjoyed the lamb a lot and the others in my group really liked the beef. The soups were extremely flavorful and my 2 year old had plenty she could eat at the buffet. The quality of meat wasn’t bad but did have a lot of fat. The vegetables were not good and the shrimp still have the head which is just good to note if you’re like me and find it gross. They didn’t have a lot in terms of selection and the staff weren’t very attentive so we had to wait between rounds. Overall if you’re in the area and you are wanting to try it absolutely go for it but if you have to drive I would consider waiting.

Bryan Pantukhoff: Always great! Super friendly staff
Antoine McKinney: The order was ready fairly quickly and priced ok unfortunately The food was not good at all. The chicken taste like it was microwaved and mushy. The spoon full of rice they served was very dry and bland. The sauce was watered down and spilled mostly into the bag. I wonder how many people they trick tho.
rosalind latham: This is my go to Chinese food place for special lomein. There is no one else whose lomein have eaten can touch theirs. They give you plenty of meat with the noodles and its so juicy.
