Elsa Blaszak: So close to campus- made moving so incredibly easy!! There is even a loading dock for trucks which made moving seem like a hop and a skip! Recommend to all SLU students looking for storage. So close to campus I was able to move everything in my unit in less than an hour! Incredible workers too- so helpful.

Kristen Green: We love iStorage of St Louis! We’ve stored our daughter’s college items there two or three years in a row. The staff here is top notch, second to none!! They are some of the kindest, most professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with!! The first time we went I was a little concerned with the storage options, but it was secure, always staffed and everything was perfect when we picked it up months later. I’d recommend a drop cloth to cover your things as they get a little dusty. This year we brought some cheap plastic tablecloths from the dollar tree and they worked perfectly! I’d recommend iStorage STL over and over again, no questions asked!!

Erin Collins: I have no issues with the actual storage unit or security. But I signed a contract 1.5 years ago at $88/month and I am now paying $130/month. They do not notify you of price increases, they simply charge your account for more. Just a warning to anyone thinking they’re getting a good affordable rate…it won’t stay that way for long!

The space I paid $207 for last month is being advertised by them now for $156. I was a long time customer, also. Edit- I changed the star rating to 4, as I received a call from a manager and was offered a competitive rate on the unit I am renting.

Bailey B: I wouldn’t even give this facility a full star… this place needs to be fumigated for BED BUGS. I didn’t even think something like this could happen.. We rented a 5 by 5 indoor unit for 6 months and then when they raised our monthly payment from $36 to $54 we decided we would rather just move our stuff out and back into our house… We emptied our unit out and and it took about a month and a half until we realized we had bed bugs.. let me also note that we have not traveled anywhere and all of our furniture has been bought brand new over the course of two years so this was not something that we had previously. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from here.. it’s not worth the headache & the extremely rude staff is just the cherry on top

jamil jackson: I have been an Extra Space customer since 2016, but since I have moved back to Missouri the customer service hasn’t been what I was used to in North Carolina. However, I spoke with Keith at this location last week because my location was closed and let me just say…. His customer service skills are AMAZING!!!! He was soooo nice and extremely helpful!!! He really helped me to get a better understanding on a few things regarding my unit and he was just extremely knowledgeable in general! By the end of the call I was begging him to work at my location instead! lol Extra Space if you’re reading this Keith needs a raise! And he needs to be the one to train all of your other employees! I promise if this location wasn’t so far from my house I would definitely move all of my belongings here!

Leah Williams: It is a very easy process you can do everything on their app until after you rent a space online. Even when you go to the gate you can either punch the code or use the app to open it. The key is in your unit and you have two spares. Move out process is easy as well and all you have to do is call for a follow-up and they will work with you depending on the things you need there. Highly recommend this place 10 out of 10

Gn997T2: ExtraSpace Storage on Forest Park Ave is a great place to store your items!Great Management, Reasonable Prices and the Convenience of being located directly across the street from the Salvation Army was the deciding factor for me from the others less personable national storage brands in the area. Oh, did I mention it was across the street from Salvation Army- super convenient to quickly drop off items no longer needed; I can’t tell you how convenient this was to me.Most importantly, I would like to personally mention Anna Klitzing, store manager for making my experience memorable from the first call to the many times I have visited my unit. Having run several high end luxury businesses focused on service, Anna always went out of her way to make my experience at Extra Space Storage…..EXTRA-Ordinary!!! Thank you Anna!

J Quick: I was able to start and end my rental completely online within less than 24 hours and no hassle. However, the elevator is slow and pain to use whenever anyone else is there. And the storage units were not temperature controlled. There were a couple of heaters on the first level but otherwise the building was cold in the winter, hot in the fall, and humidity was high. I had several books get damaged by moisture. Luckily, I didn't need them long or else I would have worried about my furniture more. Not to mention, they raised the rates nearly 70% after a few months. Likely to lock you into a high rate after your stuff is already moved.

It was a great experience and I highly recommend anyone looking for a storage facility to check out Life Storage and ask for Terri, she is very knowledgeable and passionate.
Lauren Bryan: Will cause you extra stress. Company is under staffed and closes locations randomly in the middle of the day. If you need to make a payment in person and no one is there you can loose your unit to auction. Prices change drastically over a short amount of time from 80 to 130 a month now.

Christopher Bradburn: My wife and I stopped by without an appointment earlier this week to see what storage options and pricing they offered. Mary greeted us, answered our questions and showed us the options that they had available. We had a couple questions that she had to research or check with the regional manager about and she followed-up a day or so later. We evaluated competitor options, but decided to go with Devon as it met our needs and working with Mary had been a great experience.
