Erin Collins: I have no issues with the actual storage unit or security. But I signed a contract 1.5 years ago at $88/month and I am now paying $130/month. They do not notify you of price increases, they simply charge your account for more. Just a warning to anyone thinking they’re getting a good affordable rate…it won’t stay that way for long!

Kristen Green: We love iStorage of St Louis! We’ve stored our daughter’s college items there two or three years in a row. The staff here is top notch, second to none!! They are some of the kindest, most professional I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with!! The first time we went I was a little concerned with the storage options, but it was secure, always staffed and everything was perfect when we picked it up months later. I’d recommend a drop cloth to cover your things as they get a little dusty. This year we brought some cheap plastic tablecloths from the dollar tree and they worked perfectly! I’d recommend iStorage STL over and over again, no questions asked!!

I went in and talked to Terri and she explained all of the benefits in detail about Life Storage compared to other facilities. It was a great experience and I highly recommend anyone looking for a storage facility to check out Life Storage and ask for Terri, she is very knowledgeable and passionate.
Lauren Bryan: Will cause you extra stress. Company is under staffed and closes locations randomly in the middle of the day. If you need to make a payment in person and no one is there you can loose your unit to auction. Prices change drastically over a short amount of time from 80 to 130 a month now.

Bailey B: I wouldn’t even give this facility a full star… this place needs to be fumigated for BED BUGS. I didn’t even think something like this could happen.. We rented a 5 by 5 indoor unit for 6 months and then when they raised our monthly payment from $36 to $54 we decided we would rather just move our stuff out and back into our house… We emptied our unit out and and it took about a month and a half until we realized we had bed bugs.. let me also note that we have not traveled anywhere and all of our furniture has been bought brand new over the course of two years so this was not something that we had previously. Do yourself a favor and do not rent from here.. it’s not worth the headache & the extremely rude staff is just the cherry on top

Rachel Sullivan: I would never use this storage facility ever again. I first got the storage unit in July 2021. I closed the storage unit today May 1, 2023. It started out at $74 and some change a month and they continue to increase it until it was over $170 a month by the time I left most ridiculous ever go to U-Haul way less with high security controlled climate.

Kathleen McKee: Went to transfer my unit to a smaller one and the staff showed me a new one that had just opened, and got me transferred quickly and helped me get a temporary lock, he was so helpful! It was so quick and pleasant with his attentive efficient friendly service, and the place is very clean and accessible. BUT - after one year, the rates for the unit kept going up and up. I had given them 5 stars for service, but now changed it to 3 stars for feeling ripped off. After just one year the rate went from $78/mo in July 2021 to $124/mo in Sept 2022 - an increase of 59%. So I emptied the unit and stored stuff in my garage for free and got rid of things. How can they raise the rates so much so fast??
