Joe Barrow: I been taking my wife to this Russian store for over 15 years. Very authentic with amazing ownership who are extremely nice and are willing to assist/help with anything.

Chris Just: Love this store and the deli is under used. They make terrific sandwiches for a whopping $5!! Open your mind, and pay them a visit as you are sure to find something you'll find you can't live without!Update::::::: The sandwiches have gone up some but this place is still the bomb for a lunch stop!

Tom Krapu: They have an amazing array of international foods and produce. Went here for a Japanese themed dinner I was cooking. They had the red miso, mushrooms, kumquats saki and Japanese whiskey.
Explorers: Global Foods is what St Louis definitely needed. They have exotic finds from various parts of the world. We've gorged on their chocolates and hoarded on their variety of breads and cheese. They have quality produce and occasionally get seasonal produce too. The prices may slightly be on the higher end if you shop frequently at an Aldi's or Walmart, but for the unique stuff this place definitely needs a shout-out!

We went there to buy some international products which cannot be found anywhere else.The store is a really good place for shopping for the most needed international products like syrups, herbs, spices, cheese, etc.We bought pita bread, which had unfortunately expired a long time ago, and not consumable anymore.We bought zalatimo sweet which was again unfortunately expired a long time ago and very dry. We didn't know it had expired until we opened it and tried it. It was so solid and very dry.They lack enough staff for how big and diverse their store is. We needed to ask about some products but no one was close enough to help.Their parking lot is tight but acceptable.Overall it is a great experience and you are going to have fun shopping there.
Raven Carter: Great variety of items from so many different countries and cultures. I always find something new I like everytime I come here.My favorite thing to get here is the various flavors of Calpico. Wish they still had the big bottles though!Love this place.
Amanda Rogers: Drove 40 minutes to get here because the website says open till 8 to be towed they're closed they haven't been open till 8 for over 2 years. Why is the time not been updated not happy wasted gas for nothing. You need to update your webpage if it's been and you have been closing early early.

Lisa Zelko: Wow, what a really nice place to shop.I discovered this little gem when I had 20 minutes spare before picking up my son and forgot my drink at home.Went in to buy a bottle of water and left with 3 salads.The chicken one, an apple one and one that turned out to be the absolute BEST salad I think I have ever eaten, the tomatoe salad. I'd happily drive the 35 minutes to get this again...which I will be tomorrow lol gonna buy a massive tub tho this time lolThe staff were also so very friendly and a real joy to deal with, they are a huge credit to the store.If you're in the area and looking for some yummy food and excellent customer service then look no further, Straub's is the place....just don't take all the tomatoe salad 🤣

Terry Perrin: I have heard of Straubs for years but decided to check one out. It was a great store. The pastries were awesome and priced very low for their size. They had just about what ever you may need on a visit to pick up this or that. The biggest thing I noticed was their incredible selection of prepared foods that you could just take home and warm up to have dinner.

Artsy Q: Having grown up in the area, the CWE Straubs has been a favorite since childhood. Occasionally I pop in to grab some of the famous chicken salad and sweet treats and am never disappointed. Also ensure you grab some of the fantastic and fresh meat, fish and produce. Be mindful that while the store has everything you need, it is a fine boutique grocer and the PRICES (and products!) reflect that. I love how all the local favorites are available in house. Already planning goodies for my next pop in for holiday party fixings. Genuine staff greetings and smiles abound to the customers and further the warmth of the store.
