isalulu99: Directions are wrong. You take Exit 34, not 33. Bridge and parking lot is closed.

Serge R (IAHGVA): So glad they kept this piece of history intact. It is a nice walk over the river. Would have benefitted from an information panel not only on the fauna and flora but also on the 2 buildings in the water that look like fortified bridge tollhouses. When there is nobody on the bridge like we experienced, it feels like a Walking Dead experience…quite odd.
Ryan Leigh Runyon: We visited the Indiana side, which doesn't have great signage to get you there. In fact, the road there is a little creepy and the parking area looks fairly neglected. However, the welcome "sign" still plays music when you press the button. Surprisingly, there were several other cars there with folks walking and riding bicycles on the bridge. The seemingly randomly-placed "stop here on red" sign on the road to the parking area actually controls one-way traffic, so be sure to heed the warning. It doesn't take long for it to turn green.
Sa Ko: Tolle historische Brücke. Empfehlenswert ist ein Spaziergang über die ganze Brücke.
maruko elric: Gran Vista

Bryan Hadley: A Route 66 icon, accessible only by foot or bike. As of April 23, the Missouri side is under construction. If you're driving, park on Illinois side and walk up. Otherwise the Missouri side is open for pedestrian and bicycle traffic.Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Price for adult entry Free …More

Dusty Morris: I'm a otr trucker out of Indianapolis. I've been rolling across the I270 chain of rocks bridge for Kansas City, or Joplin, MO. taking I44 & I must say that it's pretty neat how the funding was made possible to build a new bridge alongside the I270 connecting IL. to MO. & revamping the old bridge to accommodate the weight of vehicle traffic crossing, relaxing backup traffic jams due to stalled vehicles & crashes, allowing an extra lane for emergency personnel. Seeing how walsh Corp. Has already broke ground on both sides is awesome. 🤘🤘
