Charles Pinney: A beautiful and majestic monument to Saint Louis IX, and an icon for a city bearing his name. It was completed in 1906, two years after the 1904 World's Fair and located at the front of the last remaining building from that exhibition, the Saint Louis Art Museum. Standing nearby offers up spectacular views of Art Hill and the Grand Basin.

Arcade Building: what do users think?
Amanda Moffatt: Terrible communication from management. They will enter your apartment when they feel like it so ladies be careful. They are horrible at responding to maintenance requests. They ignore resident concerns, yes these apartments are nice but don’t be fooled they are ghetto and dangerous at night !!! Save your time and money do not rent with them them you’ll be highly disappointed
Angel Jenkins: I just moved in yesterday thanks to Amanda , this is my first apartment & she made everything very easy for me. She got me a bigger apartment than the one I started with & it’s perfect. She is amazing, great personality, & very helpful. I recommend Amanda & the Arcade Apartments if you’re looking for a new place to stay.
Mesha Jackson: The Front staff is amazing , Amanda really helped me settle in , Anika was really great showing me the place and giving me my walk thru , Nikki was also a great help with my move in process .!! I’ve been living here almost a month and I’m really enjoying it here so far .
Craig Burrell: I love my new apartment! Move in was seamless and the property management staff have been amazing to work with. If you or anyone you know are looking for a new place, I highly recommend the Arcade Artist Apartments!
Jasmine Richardson: AMANDA WAS AMAZING HELP ME THOUGH THIS PROCESS & I APPRECIATE HER !
B Mobile: I can’t wait till I tell my story about this building. If you want the truth about this place look it up on the internet it’s been plenty of police involved incidents here. Go look up public record and see how many times police and other first responders are at the building at one point it was almost weekly. Ashley the latest property manager is going to come on here and try to professionally respond but she is the 3 or 4 property manager in last 2 years so that should tell you something. The city honestly needs to step in and investigate this place. They say they hv security but what they secure sitting at a desk all day. The doors are broken all the time and elevators always breaking down. How about instead of finding time to get on Google and reply to reviews yall find time to renovate this building. The people leaving these one star reviews ain’t lying. You better off staying somewhere else because the amenities ain’t worth the stress. Maintenance never fixes anything in reasonable time period. It will be a month before you see them smh……
Claudia: Worst place to live. The units are basically falling apart and the management is terrible. From no AC, no heat, being hit on by maintenance employees, shootings, hostage situations, being disrespected by office management, messages being ignored, receiving false allegations resulting in violations (that were retracted), watching homeless people sneak into the building, and the list just goes on. It just seems like the goal is to push residents out and make them unhappy. The management could care less. They’ll actually start ignoring your calls and emails and treating you rudely. They even lied to me when my heat wasn’t working and said the heat pump needed to be replaced. The solution was to put a new thermostat on the wall. Not sure why that took a month to do when Winter was starting.Want to be miserable and constantly disrespected by management? Then this is the place for you!
Nene Bolden: The main lady in the office called me after 10 days knowing that I was not excepted for the artistry apartments saying that I made over the income max then when I ask, where would I be getting my deposit back? She told me she will be sending my deposit back but then I called after seven days notice and that I didn’t get my deposit back, Emile answered the phone and told me that it will take 30 days then said oh she should have offered you a mail check , but she never said anything about a mail check. And I feel like they should have said it in the application that it would take 30 days for your deposit to be refunded. If you don’t get a proof or you decide not to move forward with that apartment. and I noticed in all the reviews you’re saying that you don’t know who we are but you know who we are you’re just saying that to cover up
iiam Nene: They waited 10 days to give me call back for my deposit
Annie LeBlanc: let me just say, the leasing team at arcade is spectacular. professional, kind, and they did everything to accommodate me and my family. best prices for apartments in the area, and the building is just gorgeous! my move in was swift and painless, and my apartment is just perfect. THANK YOU ARCADE!!!!
Mikee s: Honestly the place is plush. My family loves it here. It has had a rocky start because of new management but Ashley’s working really hard to keep up a luxury standard of living. I’ve also noticed she’s very busy but she still has the patience to make time for her residents. I can’t begin to understand the type of pressure she’s under. I can see the changes and rapid development, like the sidewalks are no longer littered with debris and defecation from people and pets (which was a huge pet peeve for me) I can now take my son(toddler) on walks around the building and he really enjoys it. The elevators are getting better. Everything in general is advancing more and more everyday. I appreciate being able to be apart of something that’s growing and developing into something greater. In a city of chaos and uncertainty I feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed here at the arcade apartments. Looking forward to seeing future development.
Patrick Richmond (Streetcar1664): I am glad that the Arcade building has been turned into something much more attractive. Sometimes when it comes to fixing electricity and plumbing, that some of the stuff in the building has been long outdated. Many of the main plumbing would never meet today's standards. With it being on a bus line, or a rail line it's like having a stop right outside your door or within a couple of minutes walking distance to get to the nearest bus stop. It's a great place to live if you are also a history buff.
rena cole: I spoke with Amanda an about an issue I was having and she was so kind and explained everything. I know I was asking a lot of questions but she was very patient with me and informed me that she would handle. It feels good to stay somewhere that you feel like someone has your back and is going to look out for you and care about their residents. Thank you Amanda
David Love: While the units are nice, comfortable and beautiful. It does not make up for the lack of concern and professionalism with the leasing team especially upper management.Anything from the recent shootings, flooding and fire, various noise issues, upkeep of amenities, maintenance, questionable and constant changes with staff and security is the tip of the iceberg. Over 15+ Tenants had not had running heat/AC, hot water, proper safety measures, etc for a while and it is starting to become a place they cannot call home anymore.Dominium needs to address these concerns and stop making excuses.
Khadijah Johnson: I am a resident at Arcade Apartments. Not only has someone recently lost their life in our mailroom, but we also just experienced a major flood due to one of the residents above us. A closet fire triggered sprinklers to go off and flooded 10-15 units. We were one of the worst apartments affected by this flood.Arcade Apartments has failed to show any concern for their residents affected. We have been residents for 5 years and have seen this property go through continuous management changes. Since Covid, the living environment has become extremely questionable due to the the shooting that take place around and inside our building. They have also had roach, bedbug, and flee infestations in units here. After our apartment was flooded we were told that they were not responsible for anything because they did not cause the fire. Their maintenance team also stated that we’d still be able to live in the apartment during the construction. This was a lie. Currently we do not have power in our bedrooms or living room. Last week we were notified that hot water wasn’t available at all in the units.Because of the living conditions we have been staying with family, but Arcade still thinks that it is ok to charge us for rent. They posted our rent today, January 2nd. This is completely unacceptable! Please do not stay here if you want to feel safe, appreciated as a resident and/or artist.
Arcade Resident: New management since 2022 does not care about any of the artist spaces or amenities from photos. The gym has broken machines and parts and never been fixed.Dominium needs to do better for Arcade as it has gone downhill from the past few years.
JayRandom 2013: If I could give them 0 stars I would. When I first moved there, it was great as Ernie did a fantastic job selling the place to us and giving us the history on it. Over a year later, and multiple management changes this place has made a turn for the worse. My spouse and I moved out early and had to deal with the amount owed changing depending on who we talked to and then finally paying all of those, they randomly tried to put a collection on our report for a charge we paid and showed proof. Instead of the current management team answering our email, calls, or voicemails they ignored them for months or had somebody at the front desk say the property manager would get back to me which she never did. Long story short -- the property manager was completely unprofessional handling an issue that should have never came about. I comend the other staff members for trying to help with the matter as they were all respectful and understanding. I hope if you chose to live here I hope you have a better experience leaving then we did.
Rashad poptags: I love my apartment but i hate that when I moved in was told that it was a list for underground parking as my car has got breaking into three times and was told nothing could be done about it by stlouis city parking in a garage I pay 135 a month for so I went to the lease office to ask about the underground parking cause I had a friend move in and got a parking spot underground immediately when I went to the office I was told since I stayed in a artist apartment I'm not guaranteed a spot at all which is what I was not told that when I first moved in which is unfair what is the difference when we both are paying rent and parking is the same price even if I'm paying a tax credit rate that is not fair to me or anyone else who is in a artist apartment and also I've been waiting a week to get my sink fix I love my apartment I just think they need to do better
Dee Dee: Negative experience -1 very poor response time for maintenance; admin staff very unprofessional with follow up in communication especially regarding urgent matters, reserved spaces, or safety concerns... They dont seem to give a dam about the experience of the residents no matter how long you've lived at the location.Willfully negligent with residents personal belongings during or after move in/out. Will set your things in public space to be Stolen to convenience another potential resident!!! Completely Negligent management admin staff!
Raven Ballard: Amanda is amazing 🤩If you ever need help she’s the best
Devin Lassen: Arcade is a beautiful place to live. The community is great and the staff in the office (Ashley and Amanda) were a fantastic help with the application process. I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for a place downtown specifically artists looking for affordable options.

Serge Abrate: This is a standpipe type of water tower. It was built as a tower using red bricks.
Cassandra Vanison: My honey stay near by so that's why I'm giving it 5 stars.
Joe Arozarena: Historic structure that was renovated about 50 years ago. In good condition but no entry is allowed. The white tower is close by but not much to look at. Charles Pinney: There are only a handful of these old standpipe water towers left around the country, and St. Louis has the most with three. The Bissell Street Water Tower is located in the north of the city with its more well known counterpart, the Grand Avenue Water Tower. That said, the tower is architecturally impressive as it rises above the surrounding street. Definitely an interesting and notable piece of St. Louis history.
Deborah Kent: Love this old tower
Lewis Isom: People begging....people sleeping on the lot in their cars... hallways filthy... extremely extra THIRSTY people asking for anything
Carloas owens: A part of St. Louis History !
Quentin Howard: Real North City
Queen Lady: Ok
Perez Maxwell: Nice landmark. The neighborhood could benefit from some renewal.
Little Einstein: Rick james made a song about this place. This is the ghetto, but a beautiful area really. Lots of art and old buildings.
Shani Blue: Did not know this was there until I was looking at a special on the internet. The one just a couple of blocks away on Grand gets all the attention. But going to see this one isn't for the faint of heart as the old hospital a block up is abandoned and creepy looking.
Bre Reed: Love the housea
douglas family: Beautiful
Daniel Higgins: Nice restaurant, I learned to cook there in the early 80's.

Grand Avenue St Louis,MO Water Tower: what do users think?
Serge Abrate: This is the oldest existing watertower in Saint Louis. Built in 1870, it looks like a giant Greek column with a Corinthian capital. This 47 meter tall standpipe watertower is the tallest free-standing corinthian column in the world. Nice to see such historical structures.Visited on Weekend …More

Eldrick Hewitt: Bad
Anazco Aanz: Great
Perez Maxwell: A St. Louis treasure
Lilboone: Don't recall
Rachel Poirier: Not as beautifully preserved as the one on the South side. It's a shame too. All of the homes in that area are falling down and the neighborhood it's sketchy at best, if you must see this, do it during the day.
Tyrone Williams Jr: Historical
Latonya Carlson: Bad area
Natasha Helms: It's not a tourist attraction, not unless you want to get shot or robbed. The locals won't mess with you if you don't look like you don't belong. And no it does not matter what color you are! It's in the middle of the "hood". Not kept up, needs a paint job and fenced in, unlike the tower on the South side.
