Travis Myers: Worked for this sorry company for 6 years in Steelton PA. Worse company ever... Fired one guy because the supervisor who was in from St. Louis heard his back was sore. Which cost them 20k+ but ruined the mans life before they poneyed up. Everything is micromanaged by idiots who never done nothing but push a pencil. From half a country away. And they couldn't have done a worse job. They ended up shutting us down. Of course! Gave very little 2 weeks worth of pay n 3 weeks insurance that i had to fight for. But best thing that ever happened. Qualified for Trade Act got a Mechatronics degree. Work for a amazing Privately owned company that is still focused on the bottom line profits. Not stocks, not bonuses or a board of losers.... He appreciates his employees n we are very well compensated. Complete opposite of what i delt with at Progress Fail. In society we confused income woth brains and winning. Progress Rail is a perfect example of how wrong that thought is. If any company ever deserved to fail..

Carla Dennis: 1st time ride in the train was for Memorial Day weekend we departed on Saturday. The 27th that trip to Chicago was excellent on the way back riding train 3. 05 was the most horrible experience I've ever had. They had a mechanical issue. No one told us you stopped in the middle of nowhere they. The air went out the tallest Built-in up that whole experience was just horrible lack of communication. Nobody told us anything just a homework and endeavor we got back to the Saint Louis station. The escalator was broke we had the look. I looked just up the steps which was very uncomfortable for someone. My party at 12 had medical issues and could not maneuver steps well the 1st time and the 2nd time traveling returning home with told Toby different experience don't. Know if I write and track again. .
Michael Carannante: One of the best transportation centers out of all of the places we stopped on our Greyhound journey from Arizona. Absolutely unable to compare to the quality of a station/terminal on the East Coast and could most certainly use a facelift.
Trotamun2 *: Rock hard seats, no leg rest, no recline no dimming lights, bossy staff. Ripoff should have taken the shorter bus ride and cheaper. Stay home don't travel
Z M: This station has gone downhill since it opened. One of the Amtrak employees from Chicago said that this was the worst station in Amtraks system. She didn’t feel safe going into the station and she’s from Chicago. Both times I traveled through this station in a week, someone had overdosed on drugs by the bathroom. Welcome to St.Louis! Such a cool city but I hate to see it go downhill.
githren moonpetal: 50 plus hours of bus traveling, and it seems you are the only transit station that cares to clean and keep utilities a working. I appreciate it enough leave a review. If you have a long layover here you won't feel gross during and after it.

K T: I gave this ride 3 stars because the guy working in the restaurant on train attitude was HORRIBLE!!!! He was not friendly at all! Face stayed frowned up! I was so hungry but I refused to buy food due to his demeanor then he had the NERVE to have a tip box! SmhHOWEVER everyone e else was pretty cool👌🏽

Sniypr Q: Why would I want to use a service that throws 17 year old kids off the train mid trip for cussing. Especially when the other riders are defending him. Absolutely astonishing. Maybe you should train your employees better. Also using the "were a private business we can throw out anyone we want" to reply to the people defending him is pretty low.
Jayson Slobodzian: Very good experience here with Amtrak. Took the train from here to Chicago in the early morning. Train was on time and we boarded quickly. Although the train was rather old, it was clean upon boarding. Would recommend the Amtrak app as it made our travels easier.

What was the outcome of the teenager kicked off the train for using profanity prior to boarding? Was Bob reprimanded, what about the conductor who said the young man had to go?

Christian Fierro: It is a transit center. No frills found here. If you need Greyhound or Amtrak services in St Louis City this is it. The local Metrolink service also operates buses and a limited light rail. Boarded is easy and stress-free. I hope to see future improvements with the downtown revitalization efforts.

It is extremely unprofessional completely a waste of time. They should be embarrassed. Other passengers on the train tried to reason with the “security” to let the minor stay on the train. It was simply unjust. You should be ashamed.

Jason Reedy: They are slow to check you in and out, a couple of people are very fast, but most of them are slow. And the spotters DO NOT CARE TO HELP YOU AT ALL, they just speed past you like you aren't even there, even if they are looking you straight in the eyes when they pass you. Also, not enough parking for chassis. Absolutely HATE having to hook to a chassis on the inside of the rail.
