Peacemaker Lobster & Crab: what do users think?
Han Knese: this restaurant is one of the best St Louis has to offer! Amazing quality of food, spirits, craft beer and service! This is my number one recommendation for friends and family when they are craving GOOD seafood!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes French Fries, Hush Puppies, Oysters on the Half Shell, Shrimp Poorboy, Connecticut Style Lobster Roll Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free street parking …More
Cody Cummings: Peacemakers is a great dinner spot right on the edge of Soulard and Benton park. They have incredible po’boys with some of the softest buns. Their breading they use for fried items has cornmeal so it has a coarser texture and brings more flavor to the finished product. Their house chips are a great addition to any sandwich, but adding fries is a good substitute. I highly suggest adding remoulade to the fries. The lobster rolls are their signature, and they’re market price so definitely ask because they tend to be in the $30’s. They have a great selection of spirits, especially if you’re a bourbon drinker. This is the perfect time of year to enjoy their patio, and it makes a fun relaxed casual date night.

John Miller: Walked in and stood at the door for 5 minutes. There were at least 2 people working there that saw us standing there and no one acknowledged us and no one came over. We left and had a great meal somewhere else.
Debra Aglaia: Arrived at opening time. The front staff was a little off-putting in that I was completely ignored by two women standing at the front desk and was only acknowledged by the seating hostess when she returned from seating other customers. At least one of the two women ignoring me could have told me that someone would be right with me. That being said, the food - mussels and fried green tomatoes - was tasty. But I wouldn't order either of them again. The mussels were cooked in some kind of tomato broth with chunks of what looked and tasted like pieces of ham hock - the flavor of which permeated the broth and overpowered the flavor of the mussels. The breading on the fried green tomatoes was very good, but the tomato itself was pickled (as stated on the menu so maybe my bad), and I found the pickling flavor overwhelming (I'm not a fan of vinegar). In all, an okay meal, especially for the price. The service by Jess, though, was very good and the restaurant interior was appealing.

Marvell Seals: The food is very tasty!!! The market prices for crab and Lobster must really high right now. My wife and I total order was two Connecticut style lobster rolls. She had two glasses of wine and our total came to $111.
Richard Hamilton: Let me start by saying the food was great. My wife and I split a lobster roll and a crawfish boil. Both were excellent and on par with any good seafood experience I've had in the past. But this place is not cheap. Being a fresh seafood spot in the Midwest, I expected high prices, but this seemed over the top for me and the portions didn't warrant the price in my opinion. I have no idea what the restaurant's costs are and therefore have no idea if this was markup or the genuine cost of fresh lobster in St. Louis. Regardless, too rich for my blood.TLDR - If you're an out of towner from a coastal location I would not eat here as the price where you're from is likely much more friendly. If you're a local and you have a craving for a lobster roll like I did, this is definitely the place to go.
Erin Coleman: We went for Mother's Day, had a noon reservation. We were sat quickly. Inside is very cute - love the decor, but chairs are super uncomfortable unless your behind is the size of a small child. When ordering, the waitress took my (the mom) order first and I wanted the lobster roll. She then goes to my husband, "just so you know, that is $37 right now", like she is asking his permission! I was absolutely blown away. It would have been fine if she had directed that information to myself, as it did say market price on the menu and I was the one ordering it, but to default to the male is completely out of line in this day and time.Food was blah - no salt or flavor. The best thing we had were the fried green tomatoes. Lobster bisque was under-seasoned, lobster roll needed salt or some other seasoning, hush puppies were just fried dough.Very expensive for what we got, would not go again unfortunately.

Amanda Tulin: Ordered online in advance, even called later and further clarified the order but was never made aware that the online menu is incorrect. They blamed the mistake on the web designer and were otherwise adversarial and augmentative. Said they would call back but never did.
Wolf Williams: Absolutely awful experience. All the food was cold or room temp. The food clearly didn’t get run to the table fast enough. The manager (or somebody) came back and told us that the food wasn’t actually cold despite our boiled corn and potatoes being ice cold.

Who Dat Southern Food Bar and Grill: what do users think?
Ethan Jones: Ive been here a couple times now but wish I could make it in more! BEST CAJUN FOOD ANYWHERE! The food is always consistent and packed full of flavor, they know how to season it right. Kyle is the coolest dude ever to talk to, he knows his food and customers and is just an awesome person. This place is so cool I ordered a seafood meat pie on a Sunday and Kyle let me come by and pick it up on a Wednesday when they were closed, btw the pie was the best thing I ever ate in my life and I had to hide it from my co-workers. Honestly, if you're not spending your hard earned money at Who Dats you're just wasting it.
Yolane D'cruz: This was such a hidden gem. I’m glad we were able to find it and hang out here on the weekend. The food is 10/10 and so is the service. They have live bands playing on the first floor and the patio.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
SonnyMarie Williams: Y’all listen, me and my husband is here visiting St. Louis for our 5th year anniversary and I looked up soul food restaurants. Just seeing the environment and the atmosphere automatically caught my eye, because I’m from Louisiana. But when I walked in the door, that was it. The hospitality and welcome was everything, drinks are amazing and the food is over the moon. If I could give this restaurant 10stars I would, y’all keep doing what you’re doing and don’t stop. Every time I come this way, this will be my FIRST STOP. Thank y’all for everything!!!!!
Mickayla Neuwirth: The food is AMAZING. We got the special, me, my significant other, and 2 kids shared 1 special plate and a lg cheese fry. It was a lot of food and it was delicious. Will most definitely be going back!Kid-friendliness: Family orientedParking: Theres like 4 or 5 parking spots.
Jasmine Taylor: This place is on point. We got authentic New Orleans eats! The alligator saw great seeing how I had never tried it before, but that clock (the mouth of the gator)made me wanna try the fresh catch! The dipping sauces put the extra on the top of the shrimp as well. We also had the red beans and rice that was made to perfection and the green beans were as if we were in granny's kitchen. MAN, them damn FRIED PIES! We left too early because i definitely want to try the other flavors. We had amongst us, the coconut, raspberry cream cheese, cherry cream cheese and lemon. Last, but definitely not least, THE SERVICE! The young man at the bar DID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE! I appreciate the hospitality! We will definitely be back! I left a pic of all that I have left! 🤷🏾‍♀️❤️🔥

I find myself going back every time I’m in the area. If you are looking for real SOUL, check ‘em out. I guarantee you WILL NOT regret it!
Amber Tyler: Chicken wings and fish cooked perfectly.
rosalind latham: This is a great new food place on the south side of the city. It is decorated with a new Orleans theme and there is a bar called the Attic upstairs that has a band and the music is nice. I had the special which was fish and shrimp etouffee. It was delicious and very filling. The owner greeted us when we entered the restaurant and asked had we been there before and gave us menus. All the employees there were really nice and came by to see if all I needs were met and the food was good. I will be back to try the gumbo on my next visit.

The Ann: The food makes me happy 😊, we are originally southerners, and finding decent southern cooking 🍳 has been challenging. Originally ordered fried green tomatoes, and they were delicious. Our child ordered the Big Easy with shrimp 🍤 and devoured it before my husband and I could finish our orders of Minage a Trois. Nicely seasoned, great sauces, a wonderful filling meal. Staff was also cheerful 😊 and helpful. All in all, it is a great place to stop and eat.
Hayden Bland: Main dishes are really appetizers. Fries with a topping for $18.00. 2 lemonade drinks $12.00. Not real Creole food, more like food court food so don't go by pics on Google Maps.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Seth Matteson: Found this hidden gem on a “quick” trip to the foundry before heading out to get groceries. We had the shrimp po’ boy, a big easy, and bread pudding. Not only were we amazing at how amazing and fresh everything tasted, but this little jewel in the middle of the foundry is one of the best places we’ve had to eat in St. Louis. Ever. It’s also worth mentioning that the staff were all very kind and energetic! Amazing find!
Ramone Hamilton: Food was amazing they even scrapped together the last of a dish they were out of to satisfy my needs would definitely recommend 10 out of 10
Elisa Hancock: The food, the seasoning, and the BREAD PUDDING 😩 My husband and I had the menage a trios. So delicious! Perfectly prepared. We shared, and both got full. Now, back to the bread pudding. I have been looking for good bread pudding for 10+ years. It is prepared with candied pecans, which some are very hard, so beware. Regardless, I ordered a second helping to take home. You have to try it!
Duncan Lewis: Wonderful food and friendly staff. I do recommend.
Hailey Blanner: Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. Definitely will be back!
Michele: I had an awesome experience "P S". He detailed many options available which made it hard to choose! I really wanted the fried green tomatoes but decided on the Big Easy. Wonderful choice! I chose the Andouille Sausage on top. This was a great share with my group. "PS" was very helpful, kind, and fun to talk to. I look forward to visiting again because of he and his insightful suggestion!!Kid-friendliness: I saw many children enjoying the venueParking: Parking was conventional with outside and garage access and also a Valet choice.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access into the forum for a range of multiple handicapped experiences.

Kenton Coonts: I ordered online from here on Easter Sunday; their Easter hours were not updated and so when they were closed it allowed me to still place an order through toast. When I arrived to picrestaurant was closed. I was not upset about this because this was mostly my fault for not confirming they were open, but there was also no phone number for me to call and check.I paid for my food and toast said it was ready, so I went to pick it up. I left and emailed them about what happened. I was not unreasonable in the email I sent, I simply asked for a refund, and I could not go there in person since I was only visiting St. Louis. They responded back about 3 weeks ago, I have sent multiple emails since but have not heard back. I have reached out on Instagram and email.I understand mistakes happen; my family owned restaurants growing up, I have worked in the food industry for nearly 5 years of my life, sometimes random things happen that are nobodies fault… that being said, disregarding customers and creating negative word of mouth is very unprofessional. I feel if I would have been reaching out for any other reason other than needing my money back and asking them to correct this, I would’ve gotten responses already. The food looks amazing. I love the menu. It seems like a good place, and I hate that I’m having to leave this review; I would like to take it down once my issue has been resolved, but I feel like this is the only option I have left since I’m unable to communicate with any staff or management. I’m very frustrated with the situation and hope it gets taken care of so I can take this review down.
Matthew Nanes: So good. Po boy is just right, and they have the first decent grits I’ve found in St Louis. They can be a little disorganized at times and are occasionally out of random ingredients, but it’s still worth it because the food is so good.
carmen smith: Parking: This place was highly recommended by people on instagram and Facebook so I tired it today . We bought the fried green tomatoes and that ahit was horrible! I took it back and she re cooked them a bit harder, but it was still Horrible! 9.06 for 4 tomatoes and it's not homemade they only cook homemade green fried tomatoes at the other location on pine.will never go there again I really wish I could post these slimey tomatoes
Kanis Grady: I was not able to order due to the fact that the kitchen was backed up every 20mins and barely any orders were placed.. I was waiting the initial 15mins they estimated, got back in line in 20-25mins and they closed orders again.. Chaperones need to be present when kids are on shift in order for operations to run smoothly..
Mike Slade: Amazing hiding Gem food was amazing 👏Dietary restrictions accommodated Not sure …More

Truth Teller: It was pretty good. They had some cool stuff on the walls. It was rated high and figured we'd give it a try, but we'll stick to the other place on broadway for our Cajun fix.It was a turnoff to see that we were charged for an extra piece of cornbread when we only received one piece of cornbread for four meals. I think that's kind of petty.I have had better shrimp and grits in my hometown. There's was good and looks good, presentation wise but it is what it is. The owners don't seem like this information. To be specific, it was not worth the price to eat here. Money is better spent at the other place on Broadway in my opinion.

Although the menu appears to be extensive, 60% of the items were out of stock. There isn't much seating available. The owners informed me that they were "backed up" but neither of them went into the kitchen to help the 1 cook who was pretty much doing the role of multiple people.

Staff was informed for the reasoning as to why we were coming and after we ate they brought out dessert on the house. Yesterday was such a hard day for me, but the staff here made it so much easier. The food was great. The atmosphere was great and I loved the staff.

Rikuz Enriquez: The waitress was awesome, never had to ask for a thing and my drink was always full. She recommended the andoi sausage poboy and my god was it good, the peppers and the sauce were amazing. I also had the gator app. So damn good! Finished it with some cornbread bites which were super moist and just the right sweet. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Crawfish Mac and Cheese, Fried Shrimp & Fried Alligator …More

Nate B: We enjoyed this place. Service was slow. I had the Jambalaya and my friend had the burger. Food was average. My friend got sick later after eating the burger. Band was great. We went on a Wednesday. I highly recommend even just going for the band alone. The cover was $14. I would recommend this place.Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Mayra Baird: Wow this place didn't disappoint, the oysters were so fresh and tasty. The house soup was packed with flavor and that cornbread was to die for. I also got the mussels and they were steaming hot and super tasty. It looks a little sketchy from the outside but this little hole in the wall is definitely a good find.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Gulf Oysters on the Half Shell, Prince Edward Island Mussels …More

jackie wilson: The food was not seasoned. My friend got the crab cakes and was 80% filling rather than crab. Easy fix, but i bet they won't. Will never return to this place. They charge for you to eat and listen to the band... smh.... yes, $14.00 a person to eat outside on top of the tab.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Fady Antoon: The restaurant falls short in terms of food quality and cleanliness. The burger lacked flavor, and I had to request table cleaning upon arrival. Overall, improvements are needed for a more satisfactory dining experience.
