Cody Cummings: Peacemakers is a great dinner spot right on the edge of Soulard and Benton park. They have incredible po’boys with some of the softest buns. Their breading they use for fried items has cornmeal so it has a coarser texture and brings more flavor to the finished product. Their house chips are a great addition to any sandwich, but adding fries is a good substitute. I highly suggest adding remoulade to the fries. The lobster rolls are their signature, and they’re market price so definitely ask because they tend to be in the $30’s. They have a great selection of spirits, especially if you’re a bourbon drinker.This is the perfect time of year to enjoy their patio, and it makes a fun relaxed casual date night.

John Miller: Walked in and stood at the door for 5 minutes. There were at least 2 people working there that saw us standing there and no one acknowledged us and no one came over. We left and had a great meal somewhere else.
Debra Aglaia: Arrived at opening time. The front staff was a little off-putting in that I was completely ignored by two women standing at the front desk and was only acknowledged by the seating hostess when she returned from seating other customers. At least one of the two women ignoring me could have told me that someone would be right with me. That being said, the food - mussels and fried green tomatoes - was tasty. But I wouldn't order either of them again. The mussels were cooked in some kind of tomato broth with chunks of what looked and tasted like pieces of ham hock - the flavor of which permeated the broth and overpowered the flavor of the mussels. The breading on the fried green tomatoes was very good, but the tomato itself was pickled (as stated on the menu so maybe my bad), and I found the pickling flavor overwhelming (I'm not a fan of vinegar). In all, an okay meal, especially for the price. The service by Jess, though, was very good and the restaurant interior was appealing.

Marvell Seals: The food is very tasty!!! The market prices for crab and Lobster must really high right now. My wife and I total order was two Connecticut style lobster rolls. She had two glasses of wine and our total came to $111.
Richard Hamilton: Let me start by saying the food was great. My wife and I split a lobster roll and a crawfish boil. Both were excellent and on par with any good seafood experience I've had in the past.But this place is not cheap. Being a fresh seafood spot in the Midwest, I expected high prices, but this seemed over the top for me and the portions didn't warrant the price in my opinion. I have no idea what the restaurant's costs are and therefore have no idea if this was markup or the genuine cost of fresh lobster in St. Louis. Regardless, too rich for my blood.TLDR - If you're an out of towner from a coastal location I would not eat here as the price where you're from is likely much more friendly. If you're a local and you have a craving for a lobster roll like I did, this is definitely the place to go.
Erin Coleman: We went for Mother's Day, had a noon reservation. We were sat quickly. Inside is very cute - love the decor, but chairs are super uncomfortable unless your behind is the size of a small child.When ordering, the waitress took my (the mom) order first and I wanted the lobster roll. She then goes to my husband, "just so you know, that is $37 right now", like she is asking his permission! I was absolutely blown away. It would have been fine if she had directed that information to myself, as it did say market price on the menu and I was the one ordering it, but to default to the male is completely out of line in this day and time.Food was blah - no salt or flavor. The best thing we had were the fried green tomatoes. Lobster bisque was under-seasoned, lobster roll needed salt or some other seasoning, hush puppies were just fried dough.Very expensive for what we got, would not go again unfortunately.

Amanda Tulin: Ordered online in advance, even called later and further clarified the order but was never made aware that the online menu is incorrect. They blamed the mistake on the web designer and were otherwise adversarial and augmentative. Said they would call back but never did.
Wolf Williams: Absolutely awful experience. All the food was cold or room temp. The food clearly didn’t get run to the table fast enough. The manager (or somebody) came back and told us that the food wasn’t actually cold despite our boiled corn and potatoes being ice cold.

KTH: We visited on Saturday for lunch (Memorial Day weekend). It opens at 11:30 a.m. service was excellent. I ordered the raw oysters and shrimp cocktail. My husband had the chicken. Everything was tasty. I gave it 5 stars for the atmosphere but there were families who had squaling toddlers and babies (not the fault of the restaurant). They have an extensive drink list.

Nicole Riley: I second everything in Mohawk’s review below. My son wanted crab for his 21st bday and we found ourselves here. I don’t eat shellfish, but my side of potato, corn and sausage came out looking like a whole upscale meal. My son loved the crab meal and we all had so much we have take home boxes for later. The owner made special effort to accommodate our group with a bigger table. My son lives out of town but I live here part time, so I’ll be back for more and suggest it to others. Thanks so much for creating this space for everyone, we have nothing but good things to say about it.

First of all wherever I eat the entire establishment should be well kept, including the bathrooms which were absolutely disgusting. In regards to the food there was just something very unfulfilling about it. I didn't finish my food. I didn't even eat a quarter of it because of the taste. Living in the Midwest, getting close to real Cajun cooking is difficult, yet the gumbo was superb! The corn was fantastic. Tisha Harris: Food is always good and hot. However we were quoted a 10min wait time. Ended up waiting 30mins. Host is at register on her phone with her head down. Bartender sat a party before us and didn’t bother to acknowledge her mistake. There was absolutely no team work. When we finally got sat NOBODY greeted us. Nobody told us who our server would be or anything. It’s very disappointing. Good food doesn’t matter when the service sucks. Do better!!

I found this restaurant in a Google search literally typed in best food in downtown st. Louis and boom. Seconds away from historic Washington Avenue bring your whole family and tell them you saw this review and had to try them. You won't be disappointed trust me. Thank you again Crabs landing. Cody Cummings: Crazy good food and amazing service. If you like Cajun boils, then you have to try Crabs Landing. We got combo C (crab legs & shrimp) and then added some extra shrimp, sausage and potatoes. It was a ton of food and we split it between 4 people, and we were stuffed. The hush puppies come with a sugar cinnamon butter, and it really adds to the sweet cornbread. It was good enough we got a second order. If you’re staying on Washington ave, definitely pay them a visit!

Jeff Callahan: Our server was very nice, and our food and drink orders were taken accurately. We waited 30 minutes to be served any kind of drink, but the food was served rather promptly. The restaurant was not busy, and was at about 20% capacity. We ate what we thought was a delicious seafood dinner. However, thanks to this restaurant, we spent our next 3 days in St. Louis visiting all of the finest public restrooms. The crabs may have landed, but they did not land well. Would not return. They have made a native of Massachusetts traumatized of seafood - its sickest I've ever been in my 40 years.

It took 25mins. A group of 12 walked in and instantly we seated and there drinks were drop within 5 mins. I was 😡. To make this worst they rolled a trash can next to our table and left it there I was appalled. The menu stated king crab was $55 it was actually $65. 2 legs!!! I asked for a manager and was told there is not one on duty only to ask someone else and it was the bartender Ada. She refused to comp the wine, didn't apologize for the unprofessional behavior, and claimed they had a reservation which was a lie. Oh tax was 18.00, automatic gratuity was added of 18.00 & bill was 205.00. Food was subpar.

Leah MacDonald: One of the *best* boil in a bag experiences my taste buds have had in a while. I had the 1/2 snow crab with the combination option (Cajun + garlic butter).I did see another previous comment mention the music wasn't appropriate for kids and that was valid. However, the server mentioned the afternoon hours are more kid-friendly.

R DG: came in with a party of about 16 people. adults and kids. everything seemed fine. they took our order and brought us a few drinks. however we sat there for almost 2 hrs before we were brought out our food. we came from out of town and we were just socializing lost track of time honestly. when we confronted the waitress she had a snotty attitude. came back and told us that the order never got put in. here's where I blame our party for giving these people our business. we should've walked out at that point. thing is it was our first time in the city and by that time it was almost 9pm. so regretfully we stayed. I will say this the food was really good no complaints there. the total was close to $500. we confronted the apparent owner at the end when it was time to pay. you would think she would've apologized or something in that matter. oh it did not go that way. instead she acted as if she was gonna fight us. even threatened to call the cops. all because we complained that the service was terrible. st. louis was a great overall experience. but that left a bad taste in my mouth about the people from st louis.

I called another location which the young lady told me that they were cousins she called king and he got up went back up to the restaurant found my purse, took it home to make sure nothing happened to it. King gave me his home address, and I went to go to pick up my purse. Mind you, I stay in illinois....I really appreciate him and the food was great the night before. Slymm Jymm: Go in, seat yourself. Nobody brings you a menu, you have to get up and get one then you have to get up and order at the register and they bring you your food in the plastic bag of course. But they give you a paper plate to pour it on. The "butter" is more like seasoned water that it may have been cooked in so there's really no taste to it. I honestly wouldn't recommend going here

I wanted creme brûlée but they only had a special flavor and I just wanted vanilla. I saw that 801 Chophouse across the street had it so we told the server we would just take the check and we were going to head across the street for dessert, no big deal. He told us to hold on one second and then he and the manager came back and said she was going to just run over there really quick and grab one, and they’d make it in their kitchen so we could just stay at our table.
