Gateway Arch National Park: what do users think?
Paul Crockett: I've been here twice, and it's been great each time. The little museum is interesting, but if you don't buy a tram ticket to the top of the arch, you're wasting your time. The views are absolutely breathtaking. The only part I didn't like was the café in the visitor center - it was overpriced and underwhelming.
Ben Rugg: Really interesting museum experience with a significant focus on the history of St. Louis and early America. No whitewashing in regard to slavery, indigenous people or women.
Erik F: Must see! The movie is a bit boring, but the rest of the visitor center is just terrific.
Barry Grandgenett: Took the family there and it’s better than I remember when I was a kid.
Toni Starr: We have been several times and love it each time
Alison M: I was impressed with visiting the arch. It’s the smallest of all the National parks and is a bit unconventional bc it isn’t open, vast and beautiful wilderness filled with hiking and camping and canoeing or anything, but it was interesting and it’s clean and well maintained. The ride to the top was brief but well done and we purchased our tickets online in advance and had no issues. The gift shop downstairs was incredibly nice and well stocked and the museum area was a wealth of info and very well done. All in all. Worth a one time visit if you’re in the area for sure. The old courthouse was closed and under renovation so could not be visited during this trip.
janette paul: wheelchair access is difficult.
KEEPIN_IT REAL: Great
Daniel Perez: Wonderful place to visit for a day trip, museum is free and full of interesting history about St. Louis and the arch. The Arch itself is impressive up close and the park around it is very nice.Dog-friendliness: Lots of space for dogs to run around. But they can't go inside the museum.
Larry Cearley: Great place to visit
Philip Weber: Unique architecture, great views from the top, friendly rangers.
Teresa DiManno: Amazing site to visit. Make sure you ride the cable to the top to enjoy the spectacular views.
Christopher Sjoerdsma: Great national park unit. Beautiful landscaping. Nice place for a stroll. Did not enter the Arch or museum but plan to return.
Brian Schmidt: It's the gd Arch!
Juan carlos Flores jasso: Una excelente experiencia visitar por primera vez el arco St. Louis
Avi Code: Great museum.Great park with fantastic free Wi-Fi!Great place for photos.
Jeremy Green: Did really enjoyed it!
David Derryberry: This is a great place to take the family. It's very well laid out and I highly recommend taking the tram to the top. Absolutely beautiful view and very educational.
Beckie Bogen: Very cool experience with amazing views!
Naveed Nafees: Very informative and great experience of the Arch specially when we at top to view city

Gateway Arch Park: what do users think?
Nick Binkholder: The Gateway Arch Park is a vibrant and scenic urban oasis that offers a great retreat for both locals and visitors. The expansive park surrounding the iconic Gateway Arch provides a multitude of recreational activities and a serene escape from the city which I have come to enjoy greatly. Some of my favorite amenities of the park are the maintained landscape, with lush greenery, colorful flowers, and serene walking paths. The park's natural beauty provides a tranquil environment, perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. From leisurely strolls along the riverfront to biking trails and picnic areas, Gateway Arch Park offers a wide array of recreational activities that I enjoy engaging in with family members. Visitors can engage in outdoor games, enjoy a riverside lunch, or simply bask in the serenity of nature. The park's centerpiece, the Gateway Arch, serves as a striking backdrop and a symbol of Saint Louis. Its unique design and towering presence add to the park's charm, making it a popular spot for memorable photographs. Finding parking near Gateway Arch Park can be challenging, especially during peak hours or on busy weekends. It is advisable to plan ahead and consider alternative transportation options. The park's outdoor activities are weather-dependent, and inclement weather conditions can limit the enjoyment of certain amenities. Visitors should check the forecast and come prepared for changing weather conditions. In summary, Gateway Arch Park offers a peaceful and picturesque haven in the heart of Saint Louis, with its beautiful landscape, diverse recreational opportunities, and iconic landmark. While parking may pose a challenge and weather conditions can affect activities, the park remains a delightful destination for those seeking a tranquil escape amidst the bustling city.
SaladCat Meow: Great view from the top and gift shop has some cool cloths
Kevin: Poppin off fr
JUSTIN LEE: Its amazing
Rogério Alves Oliveira: Local muito gostoso para passear com a família e os amigos, possui muitas atrações como: passeio de barcos, passeio de helicóptero, teatro, cinema, subida ao monumento, enfim, muitas atrações num só lugar.
Ying Liang: The park was decent but the gateway arch inside is stunning and well worth the stop. It’s impressively big. There are some cheap metered spots on the street right next to the lots adjacent to the park. Follow the signs to get to the free museum. If you want to take a tram through the top of the arch to get the view below, you’ll need to book ahead because the attraction can be delayed hours based on how popular it gets. There’s also a historical district to check out if you have the time. It’s a nice pit stop during a road trip!
Stanley Fields: Love coming to the archAlways a fun experience
Jonathan Hallas: Stunning arch, degraded park. I would never take young kids here as the park does not feel safe. I certainly would not go at night. The waterfront area looks abandoned (my guess is that it actually is). There were vagrants hanging around, trash on the ground, random barriers blocking streets. Stay alert. Five of the pictures I’m attaching show the area that’s only two/three minutes from the arch. If you’re navigating to the Gateway Arch in Google Maps, you’ll have to drive through this.
Aubrey Anderson: Beautiful park in all seasons of the year. I've visited in the scorching summer heat and on chilly winter days. Both sceneries are equally beautiful. The Arch is truly a marvel, and it makes sense why it is a staple in the skyline art for St Louis. It's gorgeous! There are plenty of walking paths, trash/recycling bins, and water fountains (with bottle refill sizes) along the way. There's always something to explore here whether you're around these parts or not 👌😍
P L M: Playground: Plenty of room to run around.Restrooms: Public drinking fountains. No toilets.Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly, bags available, keep on leash.Picnic area: Plenty of shade under the tree canopies. Benches. No tables.
Kelly White: This is a very lovely space to experience for those new to town or those who have lived here all your life. The remodeled museum area is spectacular and modern with tech bring history to life! The oark is a well laid out photo op ready, nice walking areas and benches to rest. The restrooms are inside the Arch area it the park. So plan ahead accordingly for your restroom breaks. We stopped down on a full moon evening and lucky to see Jupiter close by the moon rise up between the arch Legs. What a great experience to behold!
Jen Kwang: It is indeed a large sculpture but I don’t think it deserves national park status. The park surrounding is just ok. The ride up is interesting but the view is of St. Louis
George Scott: Some of the best morning photo's are taken here.
Jed Stancato: The Arch really is amazing.
Brandon Ricks: That Things is Big and Shiny
HK Yang: The Gateway Arch를 멀리서 조망할 수 있는 공원이며, The Arch까지 산책하면서 걷기 좋은 길입니다.
Gean Ann Skurat: Fun ‼️
A. A.: An excellent place to explore
Dolores Salazar: Not worth the cost and trouble finding low cost parking nearby,. Didn't go in the Arch to view city and river. $19 per adult is a but pricey for seniors and not worth the money I say.
Tarah Sapp: Beautiful and clean w a band playing and little games for the kids to play!
Gloria Vargas: Tickets sold only for few hours for each day. Drove all the way from Texas, only to be told no more tickets available until Sunday.
