ShockAndAwe Awaken The World: Wow such a cool little hidden gem. You can jump right in the meramec at this spot. I wouldn't suggest it though cause the water is very contaminated. This place is very clean and unique.

RM: A good hike. The name of the park on the sign says something different then possum woods but it is listed as that on the map. Its a quick short trail threw the woods 1-1.5 miles depending on route you take. Trail goes high on bluffs over looking meramec river. There are 2 old home ruin sites in the woods, a few geocaches. I've read this place was once a swimming pool area. Then an exotic animal habitat for the zoo now its a park. Has a nice Pavillion and bathrooms. Where u park there is also a old abandoned set of concrete steps to no where up the hill in the woods. Im guessing all pre 1950
