Robert & Martha Gaddy Bird Garden: what do users think?
William Whaley: Nice little patch of natural growth with a water feature and bench . Surprisingly good birding spot.
Cindy La: Great place for the birds and observing them! Watch out for rude runners who try to push you off the trail that you're supposed to stay on while bird-watching.
T. Gafford: Wonderful oasis in the western end of Tower Grove. There's benches for quiet reflection & plenty of birds singing to you.Dog-friendliness: Nice wooded path for walking your special four-legged friends.
R Cusick: An astounding find! When I entered the park from Kingshighway and Magnolia, I realized I was completely unfamiliar with that corner of the park.I wandered near the wildflowers and then went to read a sign. It stated there was a bird-watching area, and there was another sign from the Audubon Society stating this was an "important bird area." I took the trail, removing my headphones so I could hear all the beautiful birdsong, and soon stumbled upon a gorgeous waterfall and pond made of rocks. Birds were bathing happily in it. There's a bench there to take it all in.If you're not familiar with this part of Tower Grove Park, you should really check it out! I added it to the map in hopes that others could enjoy it, too. It's just a five-minute walk but it's such a magical experience in the middle of St. Louis. We're lucky to have this little nature preserve.

Katrina Shannon: just around the bend from UMSL soccer field. If you are a nature lover this is a great morning walk in May or June. Path can get overgrown so pick up a good walking stick before you begin you may have to whip down a few spiderwebs along the way but well worth it! Enjoy
so kay: This is a dump, not a bird sanctuary

Kesava B: Very short hiking trail
Reno: A hike in grassland and woods. Some steep parts. No bathrooms and very few benches.
Keisha Gibbs: Nice trail immersed in the woods. Pretty muddy after it rained.
Philip Braatz: Nice and hilly with tiny water fall
Alex Long: This is a small tract of land for how much it has for the true nature lover. Come see natural Missouri wildflowers if you look closely. Yes, the edges are infested with Honeysuckle but the forest in generally pretty healthy for being in such a populated area.
Clay Babin: Cool, largely untamed sort of park. Great view off the bluff. Walk my dog here sometimes.
k koi: Even nice in winter.
Andrew Karandjeff: Cool little CA with great bluff views and about 0.7 miles trail. Dog approved 🐕‍
John Schoenecker: Small, secluded, dirt trails.
Kevin Staley: Quiet part of nature. Needs maintenance.
Justin Ma: Easy access. Nice short loop.
Michael Kneznekoff: Simple small trail with some wildlife. A bit overgrown and needs some maintenance.
Tantrum Niche: Had the whole woods to ourselves and went on a Sunday hike with my son and his mom. Lovely time and very restorative and meditative.
Jason Frakes: Always a peaceful short hike
Samir L: Trail is about a one mile circle with a lead-in path from the small parking lot. From the lead-in, if you turn right where the trail forks the path is a steep downhill. We proceeded slowly and made it down no problem with hiking boots and running shoes. Beautiful views of the flood plain and MO river.Negatives were because it's in the metro area some visitors don't understand the concept of Leave No Trace. We saw in a few places dropped tissues/napkins, and dog feces - one of which was in the MIDDLE of the lead-in trail. In total, 4 stars.
To the point.: nice surprise for a morning trail walk
Nachi Lefton: Very peaceful
Grant Fortenberry: Great low impact walk. Difficult enough to get some exercise but not so hard as to make you feel like you're dying at the end.
Christopher “Chris” Shipman: It's where Mr Greenjeans the grass snake lives.
Barry G: Hidden gem in the heart of Chesterfield. Takes about 20-25 minutes to walk the short loop trail. Most of the trail is in the woods and there are some good hills. The trail is natural so it gets pretty muddy after rain. About 8 parking spaces at the trail head.

becki benz: A diamond in the rough!!! I never knew this place existed and was beyond thrilled with not only the snow cone, but the snowballs they sell as well.Friendly, fast, affordable, and they take card!
Becky Hansis-O'Neill: Great birding and lots of wildlife.
Marilyn Rusan: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended Not sure Price for adult entry FreeMore
Linda Smart: There is a security guard entrance to get through very beautiful place. I got to see lots of deer.
Amy Joy Camp: This is best place in all of stl
Jarrod West: Great place to hike and meditate. Tranquility and Peace are abundant in this hidden gem in the heart of our urban forest.
Azzurra N: Beautiful 🤩🤩🤩
Brent Punch: Forest Park is like being out in the country very clean safe you have to go
Art Leverenz: Hidden gem in Forest Park. Trails are rarely crowded, and the ecological restoration has produced wonderful results. The wooded areas are full of native wildflowers in spring, and the savanna areas are full of native flowers in summer. Urban oasis of wildlife.
Carter Staley: This is one of the most relaxing places to get away and it's hidden right in the middle of the city. When you're deep inside the densely packed forest, you can hardly hear the nearby highway or any city noises, just birds and the wind. There's multiple walking trails and bike trails, bridges and streams. I visit the forest multiple times a week to recharge and center myself. Especially beautiful and lush in the Spring.
Party Animals: It's always nice. The trail is great and it's not to gar from a nice walk to the zoo and art hill.
Matt Alvino: About as close to a forest oasis you are going to get within city limits. We were here in the winter so the pictures are not doing it justice. Some parts are deep enough in the woods where you don't see cars or building anymore.Combination of concrete, gravel, and dirt paths throughout. Trails are kind of a cluster that go off in crazy directions without a real loop. If you do the actual quasi loop I thinks it's barely a mile.
lisa kriz: Beautiful and fun and very relaxing. 👍😊☝great place to hang and play African drums 👍👊

Columbia Bottom Conservation Area: what do users think?
L. Smith: Needs ground maintenance.
Matt Staszewski: There's absolutely nowhere to go hiking anymore either. And everything is overgrown including neglected. Why is the visitor center never ever open? The only still in existence is a boat ramp. Who is responsible for maintenance? I would fire them all.
Martin Flores: Magnifica
Joe H: Confluence Trailhead is here but it’s broken up and overgrown a bit. However not totally inaccessible. Perfect hiking to see the river edge or for peace and quiet. I’d recommend going in winter, to cut down on possible tick exposure.
Brandon Jarrett: Great dove hunting
Ishea Young-Taylor: I hate giving one star reviews but its the truth. Its so dessert looking, weeds over grown and ofcourse the welcome center was closed and nobody answered the photo. A lot of the trails was closed/blocked off and the gravel roads or horrific. They gravel has been kicked around so much that ur just riding on bumpy pavement. I'm sure in the spring and summer its beautiful but for the fall season its a waste of time.
David Matthews: Great photo opportunity in the summer
Thomas Baker: My fault. Procrastinated and came to late for sunflowers and confluence trail appeared washed out. Disappointing but not their fault 🤷🏻‍♂️
Linda Dalton: The place is closed. No sunflowers in any of their fields. So disappointed!
Christine Lampe: Drive forever for nothing. Complete waste of time.
Benjamin Hoover: always a beautiful place to explore
Praveen Ellappa: Nice sunflower field and its free!!
LEAH “QUEEN OF BROKEN HEART'S”: Love the 🌻🌻🌻.. n the man I call my KING 👑 my luv
Shreenivas Patil: Awesome place, must visit! Don't miss sunflower season starting in July till Aug mid. Drive till the end to river/boat area to complete your trip. Lot of stops in between to take pictures. Never miss the sunset, it's mind blowing experience. Place is very calm, free of pollution with less crowd. You can capture lot of nature scenic pictures. Try to be on sunny day and at least one hour before sunset. Gate closes after sunset, so plan your trip accordingly. No entry free. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. A must go places, try it to enjoy the beautiful nature and river view. Thanks for reading this comment.
Nikkidemus Phenoix: Fun, mind the bees and bugs, lots of people, but amazing opportunity for stunning photos. Thanks for planting all these beautiful flowers and helping the bees!
Michael Kiffmeyer: Beautiful!!
Eldrick Hewitt: It's very peaceful
TDH Reviews: Didn't spend much time here. Vistor center looked closed. I need research more and come back.
Ellis Smith: It's an better place to put my boat in. I can get to that hot spot I located last year.
Mark T: Stopped in for a hike of a now non-existent trail which was lots of fun and glad I did it in the winter as I ended up doing a lot of bush whacking.
Wrenchin Nerd: Came out to walk the confluence trail but the road to the trailhead was locked and with a 3 year old the extra mile that would have added made it impossible, pretty disappointed
