Merna: Andy is a phenomenal massage therapist. He truly is a therapist and is passionate about helping you feel better. He is very gentle and professional when maneuvering you but can really apply firm pressure when needed and desired. He is very knowledgeable and understands muscle anatomy and physiology and applies it to address your specific concerns. He doesn’t just do a cookie cutter massage and caters to your needs. I have never been able to find a massage therapist that was worth a second visit, but I can’t imagine going anywhere else now.

Sara Lorentz: I was recommended here by a friend specifically for chiropractic services with Dr. Dan. I had suffered a back injury at the gym and was in significant pain. I had never seen a chiropractor before and had some serious unrealistic fears. Dr. Dan assessed my pain, asked very specific questions, and walked me through what would happen and why.Dr. Dan set clear expectations for what would happen after the visit - mainly that I could still be in pain or see a shift/increase in pain the next couple of days before there was a decline. I was glad to know this and did experience it, but then a few days later my back pain was gone.I've gone back since for another visit and it was very efficient.

I’d always joked about this being my “back up career.” Well, after attending school here and being taught by some remarkable individuals, I landed a job at a luxury spa in STL. My training left me confident to pass the national exam for licensing (MBLEX) and apply to the place in which I did.I have taken numerous continued education hours with The Healing Arts Center and my continued training has further accelerated my growth in the field. I have had Chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Dan, and received massages from the student clinic. This school is full of diversity, honor and integrity.My life has absolutely changed for the better after attending this school. If I could go speak at career fairs about this place I certainly would. I wish I had known about this school when I graduated high school. Instead I did food, retail management, marketing, accounting and office work. What a game changer this has been.My quality of life has sky-rocketed exponentially. My family sees a difference in who I have been able to become since graduation. My daughter enrolled in the school and there’s a lot of shadiness with the financial aid office. There is NO WAY! That anyone in the financial aid office needs the password to anyone’s Financial Aid account. I had tried several times to speak with Jennifer Dieterle and she’s avoiding me as to why she needs my password to my FAFSA account as well as my social security number. I’m not the student but my daughter will be. I have other independent children who will be attending college as well and the financial aid office at their schools has NEVER asked for that information. Well Jennifer just to let you know I really hope you know what you’re doing when being fraudulent with the government as well as trying to steal someone’s identity. PLEASE DO A THOROUGH RESEARCH WHEN ATTENDING SMALL NAME SCHOOLS.

I am disappointed this program has become so far removed from science-based theories and practices and increasingly focused on spiritism. There are many massage therapists who would make excellent practitioners who do not wish to learn such practices. There are even more clients who are seeking a well trained massage therapist but not a spiritual facilitator. Not only is spiritism being taught, it appears it is being taught at the expense of theory and practice that would serve therapists well once in the field.

First, we went to a big chain store and there was nobody, literally NO ONE around to answer questions for us.We waited for about ten minutes, then left. We drove around a bit and found Johnson Fitness & Wellness Store and decided to go have a look. The moment we walked in we were greeted by Dan. He was friendly, polite, and professional, and was able to answer any question we had while steering us towards the equipment that would best suit our wants and needs.There was no pushing for more expensive equipment or upselling and tacking on useless items. It was straightforward, friendly, and honest.We purchased our home gym equipment from Johnson and we will be using them in the future for any other equipment needs we might need. I can't recommend them enough!

There was a slight delay in receiving it but the store gave updates all along the way and even offered to set up the floor model until the new bike arrived. The set up was great and they gave a complete breakdown of the machine and how to adjust it. Cleaned up after assembling it and took all the trash with them. Wonderful experience! Thank You

JOEL SILLIMAN: My wife purchased a BodyCraft cable machine in December 2020. In May 2021 one of the cables began separating from the plastic jacket on the outside of the cable.I called the store and they said to go online and fill out their warranty service form. Did that and didn't hear anything from them for weeks (they said it might be a couple weeks). In June I called to follow up and they said BodyCraft was discussing whether it would be covered. Said I would get a call, and I never did. In July I followed up again to learn they were still having the same discussion with BodyCraft. Johnson Fitness told me repeatedly that they would call me to keep me informed which they never did.In mid-July we finally were told that the service request was sent to their repair service. I was supposed to get a follow up call and didn't so I called back the next day to learn that it was not sent to the service company as they told me, and was still being discussed in email. Johnson Fitness told me that I should get a call from BodyCraft later that day. About an hour later I got an email that we had to pay for the part.This time I called BodyCraft and spoke with a service rep there that told me just to go direct from now on. 24 hours after that call I emailed my proof of purchase and pictures of the defect and within 30 minutes was notified that the part is ordered and in process. I get that parts fail, but the lack of attention from Johnson Fitness was super frustrating. Anytime I spoke with them it was because I had to follow up with them. They would not call me to keep me apprised of the situation.They said BodyCraft was difficult to deal with but my experience with BodyCraft was the complete opposite. Johnson Fitness was hard to deal with. BodyCraft was a walk in the park.Johnson Fitness also said something about how they are administering service now, but it was a total cluster. The equipment is good, but the service is terrible.

aco998: It has been 3 weeks since we ordered online to be shipped to the store. I called a week ago and the man sounded clueless as to why I was calling to check on the order and ask why we hadn't been charged. We called again today and were immediately told oh I'll call you back. Now the store is closed and we never got a call back.We thought ordering online would be more convenient, but now I am dreading having to go there for pick up. I doubt they'd even load it for me. Spending almost $1000, I have much higher expectations for customer service than what we have received.

Alan Brandt: Dan at Johnson's Fitness and Wellness store was great. We had a lot of questions and he was very honest in his answers. We spent a long time there testing out many machines. Dan cleaned everyone of them for us to test out, with no complaints. We bought an elliptical machine and I know he gave us the best price possible without dickering like a used car salesman. No high pressure sales tactics used; just complete up front service to his customers.

MJ Pop Shine Jamie Poplar: Initially found this place on Facebook and sent a message inquiring about a stair stepper. Steve replied promptly, sent me pictures and answered all my questions. I decided to drive out to the store. Everything checked out wonderful he was very engaging and took the time to walk around the store and answer all questions! My mom end up buying a treadmill and I got my stair stepper! Machines have to be delivered but all in all I am extremely pleased with the process so far!

Christian Herman: SO frustrating. I was looking to buy a used elliptical. Drove the miles to get there. Asked the man at the counter if he sold used elliptical machines. The correct answer would have been yes or no but instead he asked me what brand I was looking for. If you sell used machines, I asked him, where would they be? In that section there, he told me, pointing at something over my shoulder. I must have looked as bewildered as I felt when asking about the delivery fee because he finally came from behind the counter but by that time I was headed to the door. I've never encountered someone so disinterested in helping/directing/listening/selling so I drove home, found a Sole elliptical online for $899. The delivery and set up fee was $139 - much less than his delivery fee. So I bought a new machine and it was so worth what I paid to have two men unboxed and assemble the machine. It took almost 1.5 hours from the time they unloaded it from the truck: money well spent I love the Sole!

Steven Dobbins: We were looking for an at home treadmill and didn’t know where to start. Dan at the South Lindbergh store in St Louis was very knowledgeable as well as patient. My wife and I were able to find what we believe to be the right one for us. The store seemed fairly busy and he was always available to answer our questions. In the future we will be back for our next purchase of fitness equipment. Thanks for the great experience!
