Second time we also came in with our dog (with a dog ice cream sign outfront), and suddenly an employee stops us and says no pets allowed. To me this is an issue. You can't both advertise the welcoming of dogs for ice cream and at the same time prevent them from coming in the establishment.

Tiffanie gor: I cried when I was told the list of all the gluten-free ice ceams they had. Me new to celiacs disease. Finding gluten-free ice cream that tastes good is hard. They also had gluten-free cones. They habe huge variety of icecreams my 6 year old ate ice cream thatbhad lavender in it. That girl is picky. So i was shocked. They even let you taste samples. I never get two scoops of any kind of ice cream, but I did here, and I was a glad. They also have boozy ice cream for the adults. I will be visiting here again, and you should also. You will not regret it. Almost forgot they sell them in I think it's pints. So you can take some home. I have to get me some ice since I came from Illinois.

I needed a pick-me-up and got the affogato (2 shots of espresso and your choice of coffee -- I went with the Mexican chocolate ice cream and it gave the espresso the perfect blend of sweet and spice). The staff was very attentive and helped us with recommendations. Family friendly and a clean bathroom tops off this cute shop. Give it a shot during your next trip to the Grove.

They were patient while my small kids chose the flavor they wanted, which isn’t the case everywhere we go. That said, I got a Dipity Dough and the cookies were rock hard, which made eating the ice cream sandwich impossible. My wife got a double sundae, and for $10 she was expecting something higher quality. The worst part of the visit, was older woman that came out of the back to briefly berate, and just demean the girls working the counter in general. Not sure if she’s the owner or manager, but it was really disappointing to listen to her treat the employees that way.
Samantha Smith: I was there yesterday with my dogs and my friend to get some ice cream which was so nice and delicious and I LOVED it and so I'll be coming back soon. One thing I noticed was the customer service especially one of them, she really caught my eye she greeted us with a smile had a conversation with us and even let us bring chairs outside so we can sit down since dogs are not allowed and she asked me do I want some pup cups for my dogs which I appreciated I even got her name I think its cyessa sorry if I spelled it wrong but because of her I'm definitely coming back and I'm so bringing my dogs cause they loved her

The two ladies working the shop were super friendly and courteous, going out of their way to ensure that our experience was perfect by asking if we wanted to try different flavors, if we wanted whip cream and cherries, and even if the music was too loud. Overall, our visit to Serendipity was fantastic and we can't wait to come back and try more flavors.

My “hello” was met with a 5 second awkward pause and stare-off. I followed up with an “everything ok?” which was met with a “yeah, hello.” Noting communication/customer service etiquette was lacking, I just proceeded with my order. The staff to client ratio was 1:1 but somehow it took about 10 minutes to get our order. Our sandwiches were made 5 minutes apart which left 1 melting at the register before payment. There wasn’t anyone at the register to check us out until someone, who seemed to be the owner, noticed and came to assist. She was quite friendly and kind. The military discount was much appreciated. Prices are reasonable. In the end, the young staff really lacked attentiveness and organization.

Prakhar Gupta: It's not as good as the hype.... tried 8 of their premium flavors, the texture was great, but the flavors didn't taste as expected.For instance, the peach jam & biscuit and everything bagel flavors in their signature waffle cup tasted too salty. I was confused if I was eating a frozen pretzel or an ice cream.There are some good tasting flavors as well. The strawberry milkshake and darkest chocolate flavors were the good ones I found.Personally, I would not want to travel more than 15 minutes to try Jeni's Spledid ice creams.

Is it ok to give a hard time to save 10 cents on a topping or try to extract $1 extra? I think this is a very bad practice and I do not like having to complain to get it prepared the right way.

(The menus are on TVs, how hard could they be to update?) They have a small stage for musicians as well, which can be a little too loud in such a small space.However, as long as you check the pricing and can take your dessert to-go, it's worth a stop.

It was amazing. I live two hours from here and I will make the drive back so my wife and son can have a shake. If you have ever wanted to taste fresh milk it is a must.

St. Louis would be so boring without you.You know the ice cream is good when you see an Oberweis packed full of kids at 10pm, in the middle of winter, 20 degrees temperature.Here are 5 stars for the excellent customer service. This evening I watched a crew of young staff members perform business operations like they own the place. Employees appear out of nowhere to take orders and when there's no one at the counter they're helping out other coworkers. You can tell by the good vibes, synchronized work flow and team dynamics this took time to build.Kudos to all including the manager / owner for running a tight ship while everyone inside was screaming ice cream.
