froYo: what do users think?
jules laker: Not the best store out of all of them. Customer service was spot on. But machines weren’t available at this location with only a select few flavors. Topping variety was fine, not as versatile as other locations though.
David: Loved it
Frenando Ortiz: That place is disgusting, it's the worst place I've ever seen, I would never recommend it, it's very dirty 😡 If I could, I would give it less than 5 stars.
A R: Ummmm YIKES. Should’ve taken pictures but ran so fast. Multiple machines down- only 5 flavors available. Machines have napkins and rags shoved in them to prevent leaking. Garbage and dirt everywhere. No fruit anymore. Worker behind the counter was too busy on his phone to care about anything. What happened to this place???
Cy Hardy: Hey, all I used to work here for a year I was the guy with dreadlocks. anyway, I hear a lot of complaints on here about how dirty the floor is but yall need to understand especially if its the first opening shift and there's only one person there it can get busy to the point where there stuck there taking orders and they can't go anywhere else plus nobody really reads the signs we had up there there's one on the top of the machine just about eye level that says "Please Push Handles All The Way Up" and they don't the reason I say this is that if you don't what tends to happen is they keep dispensing instead of stopping and then they go on the floor and leave a mess also when they're not the yogurt can't freeze properly which makes it liquidity coupled that with an overworked employee stuck at the front there not able to go and clean with how busy it can get. Also, there's a group of people who like fruit (Strawberry Mostly) and I get it but throwing things away when you didn't pay for them is wrong the best thing to do is call ahead of time and ask or look before you put something in your cup and if you love strawberry's I get it but you need to understand we would get a whole thing of them Thursday and on Saturday and people will come in and get 4-6 scoops of strawberry's which will kill the supply. But lastly everyone please be nice to all the employees this job can be really stressful sometimes they don't want or need any rude people coming and badgering them. Thanks for the read and have a nice day Edit: Hello again all. So everyone knows about the bad smell by this point it’s because of the owners I asked them when I worked there a year ago he just brushed it off. same thing with the broken yogurt dispenser machines I told them a year ago to fix them nothing happened it also could probably be that we always got shipments when we were running bone dry. Another thing I want to hit on is that sometimes in food service you can’t exactly keep true to the hours on the sign because we have to close the store ASAP because we’re only schedule for a certain amount of time and don’t want to go over that also we’re regular people who want to go home at a reasonable time. Most of the issues are because of the ownership thanks again for the read and have a nice day
Alexis Harris: If I could give it 1 star I would. Whoever owns this location really let it go down over the years. It needs to be revamped or something Smh.. they just don’t care. My visit today was definitely a 0 out of 10. It smelled horrible, like a dirty old mop. There was only 4 flavors … which 2 of them had a funny taste to it. The toppings seemed old & stale. They don’t even have the warm chocolate or caramel anymore… just close this location all together. It’s definitely not what it used to be:
benjamin burris: Walked in and it smelled like raw sewage. The employee was on her cell phone sitting in the back. Most flavors where out and the ones that where not where liquid when they came out. We walked backed out and won’t be back. Clearly this is a normal for the store as other reviews say the same thing.
Chris Doebert: Got here at 7:40pm and they're closed, even though they're supposedly open until 8
julian hampton: What can I say it's frozen yogurt it's not bad it's even better if you're lactose intolerant
aliyah jones: Used to work here right off the back I can tell u it's ran VERY poorly they don't care that's why it's a mess. Its not the workers fault they don't have the flavor or toppings u want though don't take it out on them that's the owners responsibility. If you plan to get froyo CALL or LOOK around FIRST to see if they have the flavor or toppings you want so you don't end up waisting your time and the money they dont have. The store's dirty because they're understaffed and it's hard to keep it clean when you have to run the register and there's no other help to keep it tidy running the back and front ESPECIALLY when busy.
Brianna Jones: The establishment smelt specifically like the port-a-potty section at a music festival. Like someone was taking a dump right there in the middle of the place. Didn’t buy any froyo from here; walked in, walked out.
Acyrtixz Y: This was terrible. First the workers were gone for more than 15 minutes like they said💀 and when they came back they was in pajamas. Then when you walk in the smell was so nasty and the kitchen was terrible to look at, I will not be coming back here again
Prudence Evans: Literally all the machines were labeled "Not working" except for 3 flavors. What's the point of being open if machines are going to be broken
Evan Becker: I work at a food place so I hesitate to write negative reviews, but it truly was not a great experience. 4 of the machines were labeled not working, and one just wasn't working because it hadn't been filled and dispensed just liquid. Not only that, but the toppings were older and stale. The cost was high and nowhere does it describe how much you're paying for. Overall, will not be coming again.
Theresa Esslinger: As a place that serves food you need to have either a bathroom open or hand sanitizer available; neither of which were when we were there. Toppings were not appealing; either all smushed together or not full. Messy tables and emplyee was just sitting at register doing nothing. Definitelu not worth the $20 I spent on two dishez.
Rikki Millett: Multiple machines broken. Of the ones that were working a few were out. Employee didn’t know which options were non-dairy, which seems like easy information to know. Very few toppings available. Some toppings were so stuck together it was work to get a reasonable amount. After all of that, the frozen yogurt didn’t taste good at all. $50 wasted. We will not be returning.
Ashley Lumpkin: This place serious health hazard. The mango topping was so fermented that it tasted like pure vinegar, half the machines were down, and the whole place was just dirty. It’s changed since the last time I went years ago.
celina mao: nice interior
Madison Boukas: I used to manage a yogurt shop so I’m sure my standards are pretty high but this was kind of a mess. The toppings were soggy, they were out of a bunch and when I asked the employee had no idea where they kept them. The floors and tables were dirty and sticky and employees weren’t wearing uniforms of any type. The machines were gross and someone came out with a rag and didn’t wipe anything down just put the levers back up. I know it’s hard to find good employees these days but this falls back on training and food safety. Please reevaluate how you run things.
Eric Devenbaugh: Self serving stations with small variety of flavors. Seating inside and outside. Pretty clean from what I saw. Food was excellent also
Nicole P: Only half the machines had flavors so not much of a selection. Topping section was a disgusting mess, hot fudge was empty, and tables were dirty so we sat on the bench seat. The yogurts we did get tasted fine. Guy at the counter was nice. Expensive!

Bella’s Sweet Treats & Boozy Shake Shop: what do users think?
Rian: Literally drove her on a sunday for this place to be closed but state open on google maps. How hard is it to update correct info.
Jazzmine Johnson: Yummy ice cream! Different unique flavors, so glad we have Bella’s downtown 😊
Heather Andry: Boozy shakes were so good! Loved the board games & the vibe of the whole place
Kelli Johnson: I love the strawberry bubble balls and the ice cream. Workers are super friendly. Awesome place
นัท สุมงคลพิพัฒน์: Icecream was yummy. Friendly service!
Cody Cummings: Bella’s is the best downtown stop for getting something sweet to cool you off during the hotter months, and not a bad way to take the edge off after a long day if you choose to go the boozy route. The shop is really cozy, and there is a unique selection of fro-yo flavors, as well as all the toppings to make it your own creation.
Rio Clemens (abusylifewithrio): Was such a cool experience!! You pick your fro yo & any toppings you want! Pay by the lbs. just like most fro yo places BUT this one is with a kick!! Alcoholic beverage fro yo!!! I didn’t end up trying an alcoholic one but y’all!…. The blue cookie dough is SO GOOD!!! Definitely recommend going!! You can sit in & play games also while you eat!! Tons of different games to play on the window seal & seating outside as well!! The lady who owns it is so nice as well! Great experience all around!!
Sam Calligan: I absolutely loved it here! They had a bunch of options of fro-yo and toppings and other stuff that we didn't even have the chance to try. My mom is lactose intolerant so we were kind of nervous to go, but they ended up having some dole whip options. She got both pineapple and pomegranate and she loved them. I stole some to try and I loved them too.I got chocolate and vanilla swirl with some extra chocolate on top and it was absolutely amazing. There are also games for you to play while you are there.Overall, I definitely recommend going here if you are in the mood for some frozen yogurt or other treats.
Leah MacDonald: Nice little stop on Washington Ave. Paid for the Bella's Dirty Chocolate Banana, a boozy milkshake "St. Louis" style. Definitely provides a nice opportunity for parents and children to 'chill' out for a bit while visiting downtown attractions.Yes, it can be expensive. Froyo wisely ✌️
David Rodgers: Clean place , tasty treats .
lark: The seasonal specials are amazing. Server was sooooo kind and fun. Lots of fun games to play while we drank. Lots of freedom in making our drinks but also she gave suggestions. Gave us free shots at the end of the night. My friends got St Louis style which was WAY too much alcohol for me but the regular boozy level is good too. Can’t say enough how nice the server was. Definitely stop by if you’re between bars or just in the mood for something sweet
Megan Clontz: $30 for frozen yogurt. makes sense since it’s downtown. Tourist trap. There’s better ice cream places for $30.
Sabrina Anderson: The cherry and orange sorbet was sooo good! Its good for kids and then the adults with the boozy treats. I wanted to try the boozy ones but I will next time. Must stop for a good treat!
Joy Likavo: Great location, great service, lots and lots of options!!! They had sample cups, and I made it easier for me to mix what I wanted. Perfect place to have ice cream.
Jessica Miller: Fun yummy treats. The lady that was working yesterday was awesome. Super friendly and accommodating.
Eric Mitchell: The ice cream is amazing, the works are even better, they are extremely friendly
Andy Dubitsky: So memorable I completely forgot about oh wait I do remember downtown St Louis. Great staff. Cool place
Doreen Warfield: Super cute place. Lots of variety. Fun boozy options. Staff was very kind, even when I walked in 5 minutes before close. Highly reccomend
Tara Perkins: Was walking down Washington Ave yesterday and was drawn to their rainbows 🏳️‍🌈.Had a boozy frozen thing. Orange/vanilla with coconut rum. It was delicious!I'm rarely in the area, but would totally return.
Amber: Delicious. Fun atmosphere.
Cara Dossett: Cute and fun ice cream shop with myriad options, including mixing boozy shakes if that's to your taste. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was great. I got an espresso soft serve with caramel chocolate chunks and it was amazing.

Mr Wizard's Frozen Custard and Yogurt: what do users think?
Henry Willers: Very good and a pretty good price. It is very filling custard. Snow cones are good.
Edwin Altuve: Excelentes helados muy ricos
Gavin Barrett-Hayes: Amazing ice cream. Amazing people. The equivalent of Ted Drewes (but less expensive and less famous). GO HERE!
Sylicia Huffman: This place is literally distasteful. The people who work here are racist and the hours they have on their website is not accurate they will close 30 minutes before and ignore you when asking about that. DO NOT GO HERE NOT A GOOD TASTE. Also the night supervisor with brown hair doesn’t know how to supervise.
Ryan S: Update your hours. Multiple families turned away at 8:30
Alicia Wilmes: Yummy sundaes and concretes. The service was good and I would recommend
elevaTOURS (dieselducy): This place was amazing. The milkshake I got here was one of the best ever. I got the peanut butter cup milkshake and it filled me up. I want to go back!!
Shani Blue: I got the Turtle Concrete
Charles Gene: First time here todayGot a mint shake with chocolate dip added to itSuper kind staff and fast and friendlyI appreciate it
Syme Robinson: Custard has thicker texture than Ted Drews. It’s so… custardy… definitely a must try for anyone.
Emily Thornberry: This was hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a business. We pulled up to mr wizards with a huge line of people waiting out front. The two girls behind the window started pointed their thumbs down at me in my direction and throwing dirty looks as we were walking up to stand in like. When we arrived at the window there was still 3 customers who were still getting served in front of us. When it was our turn to order, the workers slammed the window down on our faces and shut the lights off. There was still probably 15 customers sitting outside in the pitch black trying to enjoy their ice cream. She refused to even say anything to me and turned away when I tried to ask what was going on. She yelled at me they close at 8:30. When their websites says 9pm.
Maddie Warren: Don’t bank on them being open. My fiancé and I thought it would be nice to walk over for ice cream tonight, a Monday, and arrived at 7:30 to lights out. On their website it says open until 9 on mondays in the spring, on google it says 8:30, and on apple it said open until 9. Turns out none were accurate. Oh well! We’ll go to clementines 😋
Becky Stillwell: Mr. Wizard's is best custard there is. They have custard and yogurt, and in chocolate. Add toppings, decide if you want a concrete, and enjoy your treat.
Na. H: If you pass by here and see a line around the building it’s for a good reason.Don’t let it make you pass on by, just stop, it goes very quick. The frozen custard here slaps hard. I get two cones when I go 🤣
Rusty Shakleford: An underappreciated St. Louis classic! I grew up on the frozen custard here
Martha Z: Smiley staff every time. No reason not to love this place! I recommend ordering a layered concrete. Irresistible.
Scott Nauert: Enjoyed a delicious frozen yogurt here this evening. Before tonight, I hadn't been to Mr. Wizard's in years, but it brings back great memories when my late grandparents took me here when I was a kid. While the nearby competition has been raising prices and reducing portions, Mr. Wizard's still gives you a lot for the money, and it's super-fresh. The frozen yogurt option is very welcome for those of us who want a little less sinful treat every now and then :)
Jude Bronner: Nostalgia and good custard. All you need.
นวลจันทร์ ผลัดครบุรี: Great food variety, nice place, great service
Daniel Teater: My family and I come here all the time. If you like custard it is hard to beat them. The prices are amazing compared to other custard establishments. You can even order kiddie cones insanely cheap for the little ones. Definitely make this place a regular stop.
Cykoiscrazy07 !: GMA showed me this staple of Saint Louis. I always get the turtle turtle. The staff are always very chill. The owner from what I heard is a great guy my GMA and him got a thing 😂 joking. Overall I love it more then another place I've gone since my child hood. The icecream is amazing. And they do sell Christmas trees in the winter so stop by get a custard and maybe a tree this winter ❄️. Don't just take my word for it. Try it for yourself cuz the wizard custard and ice cream is a dream that melts in your mouth.

FroYo Frozen Yogurt: what do users think?
Addisu Siraw: Number one place
Ashley Jordan: Could have been a little cleaner
Ric Comana: Lots of delicious options including the new pistachio yogurt. And then all those toppings that you can pick from...Will be back
Leona Mayrose: expensive but worth it. Delectable options
Aaron Hayes: Cake batter for the win!
Fine Craft Custom Flooring LLC: Nice Yogurt ✅
Lucena Zacheis: I love it because it was very convenient and it was yummy!
Braden Alanis: I LOVE ROI
Ed Sapp: Excellent experience. The new guy, Roi behind the counter was super nice, friendly. Helpful and had great energy and was extremely hospitable. Keep up the great work!!
Timika: Always great to stop here. My daughter’s favorite spot.
Janice Jones-Kelly: Live me some overpriced fro yo lol
killaqueen bom: Nice lil spot for a great desert for an amazing price. Love the flavors of imagination you can create
LaShawndra Smith: Always closed out machines not working
Sara Lorentz: This is my nearest location of this chain. My daughter and I love to pop in for a tasty treat. The store is usually clean, they almost always have all machines up and running and they offer sample cups which I love. The toppings area is typically well stocked and you can chose from many different toppings. They also have a water container at the front with small cups to have a drink with your treat. My go to is 1/2 cheesecake and 1/2 strawberry cheesecake topped with strawberries, reeses cups, hot fudge and whip cream. When they are busy expect a little chaos at the machines and seating area. The inside is small and there are times all the seats are taken inside and at the outside dining area. The employees are indifferent. They don't greet you, they don't thank you, they don't speak to you except to tell you your order total or if you ask a question.
David Rodgers: Clean ; tasty .
ronald johnson: My wife and grandkids love it. They have and excellent variety of frozen yogurt with a mind blowing variety of toppings.
Shea Davis: Fruit looked kinda old
Stephanie Schmidt: Don’t go at the end of the day if you want to eat in! The store closes at 9 pm. At 8:30, we walked in & all the tables and chairs were put up on the bench that lines the wall. The staff refused to let us use any tables or chairs “because we are closing in half an hour.” I spoke to the manager who agreed, we could not sit due to their closing in 30 minutes. What?! We stood outside & ate in the cold. Next time will pick somewhere else.
Laura Martin: Clean. Always filled up toppings, never empty. Very nice service. Love to go here when I can. Has the best new selections of flavors. All new seasonal flavors for fall.
Farnaz Babaie: We love its great selection, and their Halloween decoration! Definitely try the pomegranate and raspberry frozen yogurt. They have given their tastes funny names. Keep up the good work!
Michael Morton: Lots of choices

froYo Premium Frozen Yogurt: what do users think?
Jessica Shelby: 6 of the 10 or so flavors were ‘sold out’. No plain vanilla or chocolate flavors were available. Many of the toppings were not available. The store was generally unclean.
Sara Nichols: Absolutely filthy. Floors were so sticky. Unprofessional handwritten notes on almost all the yogurt dispensers. Chairs, tables, doors, etc had disgusting scuff marks all over. The employee was very nice, but was just sitting on their phone with headphones in. Haven’t been here in a few years, but definitely won’t be going back.
Bernie Dippolito: Self service frozen yogurt, good options, lots of toppings, pay by the ounce.
Melissa Welsch: I was absolutely shocked at how filthy and disgusting the place was…in such a lovely and affluent area. Trash bins overflowing, floors and tables were sticky and the dispensers were clogged and generally unkempt. The one person working was on her phone and clearly not concerned.
S Thompson: This place has seriously gone downhill. I haven't been in many years because of the condition of the store, and I was hoping there would have been some improvement. The yogurt was ok, but it's outrageously expensive and the store is dirty. There was yogurt everywhere, toppings all over the place, and many out of order and passive aggressive signs handwritten on notebook paper all over the store. The two employees were on their phones the entire time and didn't say a single word except for how much I owed.
Savannah Marie: not only was this place filthy and not stocked at all. out of order signs on half the machines and custard literally all over the floor. the worker was a 12 yr old boy playing football outside with his friends. no one was even there to check me out. ended up just walking out with it. sad because this used to be my go-to.
Casey D: When this place was "Yo My Goodness" it was clean and well stocked. Now it's really gross. Very dirty. Staff just sits behind the counter looking at their phones.
Magnus Fore: For the love of god fix the close time
Shelby Thurman: I stood at the counter and waited so long to cash out, that the other customers in the store told me I deserved it free. 🤨
Sophie Williamson: Yogurt is ok. Machine’s always broken and yogurt all over the floor. Trash cans over flowing and the place is not clean. The workers always seem like they could care less. Wish Red Mango was back in Kirkwood.
Tim Hebel: No idea what happened to this place, it used to be nice. Just went in there with my kids and it was disgusting. The floors are covered with food, hasn't been mopped in ages. No napkins. More than half the toppings were empty. Ice cream drippings covering all the machines. Employee disappeared into the back for an extended time even though they saw people about to pay. Front windows are filthy. Two other groups of people in there were also bothered by this
Rez Behnam: Do not recommend eating here. One of the dirtiest places I’ve ever been in that serves food. 2nd time ive been in and it’s disgusting. Large yogurt drips on the floor by dirty machines, floors are covered in food, counters not wiped down. Each time there were 2 employees on their phones who had zero interest in maintaining even a basic level of food hygiene. Total lack of concern or care for food safety.
Tamlin Gibson: It is so sad to see a local business we used to love turn to trash. Kids sitting behind the counter chatting with their friends. Garbages overflowing. Trash and food all over the floor. Tables were not wiped down. The toppings and spoons looked unsanitary. Note book paper with passive aggressive signs all over. I would love to see this place be revived!
Marck de Lautour: The most unclean, disgusting mess of a store. Truly scares me to see what "back kitchen" looks like, when the customer facing side is atrocious.Staff, and ownership just doesn't care
Elizabeth Clements: This location was not very clean when we visited. That may be because there only seemed to be one employee. She wasn’t overly friendly but she did her job and was polite.
laila benchekroun: Not clean, bad service. They don't like provide small cups for testing.
Jim Varagona: It could always use a good wipe down. The teen manning the counter could be doing that while people are enjoying their froyo. There are an abundance of hand written signs on notebook paper everywhere that make the place appear unprofessional and unorganized.
Jessica Billingsley: My kids and I used to love to go here. Don't waste your money. Several yogurts with handwritten "out of order" signs on notebook paper. The place was dirty, counters were not wiped down. After paying and sitting at a table for 5 min they inform us the Lobby is closed. There were not signs nor did they say anything when we walked in.
St H: Girl behind the counter was super sweet and awesome but the place was very dirty and disorganized with amateur hand written notes on the storefront and no one to greet you until you were completely done. Half the flavors were out of order or out of stock. It looked like it was totally deserted when we walked in.
banjaluka7: Kidos loved it
Abbi Turner: Great variety of topping options, however the topping area could have been more clean along with the seating. We enjoyed the frozen yogurt flavors, but 4 flavors were out of order when we went on 9/25/22.

Ted Drewes Frozen Custard: what do users think?
Mark Vote: Delicious
Christopher Slater: Award winning frozen custard that has been around for nearly a hundred years. Can't miss it you want the best frozen custard in the world.
Carol Caughron: As always, Ted Drewes was great. The service was quick and ordering was easy. So many choices I think it is best to check out the options before getting in line. Yes, there were lines but they all moved very quickly. Yum.
carrie fisher: ❤️ 💙
Dawn Steinmetz: The custard is creamy and wonderful and you can add pretty much anything you want!
Victoria Kuntz: Completely lived up the hype! It was packed and they were still super efficient with our orders and getting the custard to us and it was DELICIOUS. Bought tons at the gift shop as well. Great gifts!
Ric Comana: The best frozen custard in the world.Anytime we have guests in town we bring them to Ted Drewes, anytime we are in the area we stop by.Tried the cold fudge today with my frozen custard. Very nice.
Darien Camie: Best custard in the world! Fast service and a wide variety of flavors and combinations. A St. Louis gem!
Thomas La Fleur: The best in St. Louis!
Matt Hancock: Awesome!
Sphaleritee Es: It’s decent. Andy’s is better from St. Louis. The chocolate stuff you can get from Dierbergs is really good, but they only have vanilla at the actual place
Josh Peck: St. Louis classic!
Eric Ellsworth: We were in the area and knew Ted’s was reopening for the season. It was very busy of course, however there is better custard out there. Ted’s may have one of the largest menus but their custard is average. We had the Lemon Crumb and the Twisted Caramel. Both were okay, but could be better.
No.1 but 2: Great deserts highly recommend you at least try it
Ali House: If you live in STL and don't know about TD I will take you there personally ❤️⭐❤️
Ariel Stavri: The best frozen custards in the Midwest.
Tufan Erdogdu: Just visit this place and get the perfect ice cream. 🍨 🍨
J Delbs: Ted Drewes is always amazing! They have tons of options for folks! I always end up getting the Oreo concrete or the Hawaiian. Parking is always packed but side streets are nearby and easy to walk from. Be careful if you park across the street at the bank. It's a busy street to cross, especially at night.
Marc Taub: A must stop for everyone.
Erika Brekalo: Expensive but goog
Nothin Doin: BEST frozen custard and menu anywhere!

Crazy Cup: what do users think?
Alison LaRose: The staff is incredibly friendly! My son loved all the retro games, I think he was more excited about the games than the froyo! We were there close to closing time and they didn’t make us feel pressured to leave. We will definitely be returning!
phoebe phalange: me and my family love coming here! the yogurt is better than froyo and so many yummy toppings. i’m so glad they have the boba topping here to it’s my favorite! the most unique frozen yogurt shop i’ve been to, and very kid friendly! lots of toys and games. it’s a blast everytime we come here. great service too.
Bakhrom Abdurakhmonov: Awesome ice cream place with a lot of seating! Friendly employees as well.
Rachel Horak: The whole concept if this place is adorable. Kids thought it was so cool. That I would give 5 stars for. However 4 cups were 27.00 which stinks for a 4 year old who eats a few bites and done. Also the froyo itself was awful. We all threw ours away after trying to eat it. It was a weird consistancy and just tasted off.
Lime_the._.raptor: Good yogurt and pretty good price
Joanne Giljum: We come here often and like the variety of flavors. They are very flexible in how they operate their business and willing to host family/group parties during or after hours. Looking for the right opportunity to do this. Live musicians play on Thursday night which is a nice surprise.
Shelby Harrison: Showed up super excited to try for the first time and it’s closed during open hours. Should have seen the multiple other reviews stating the same. I’m not mad I’m just disappointed :(
Mike & Nichole Glaser: Tried to take our almost 3 year old here for a birthday treat on a Sunday at 12:15. Doors were locked and lights were off. Sign and Google show opening time was supposed to be noon. We can't go to places that are not reliable, especially when a toddler's birthday treat is involved.
Lauren: Went in around 8pm on a cold night. The place was clean and well stocked. A great variety of flavors and toppings! Worth a visit!
Sam Pressdee: epic
Love is Mehndi: Crazy cup is delicious!! Great customer service and shuan the owner is just fantastic! Definitely a regular spot of mine!
Amaya Velloff: I loved the atmosphere! The only issue is that there are soooo many better froyo places, the froyo here was too sour and some of it just tasted plain bad. That was my only issue though. i liked the place for what it was
Delora Hedgpeth: We just went here and got frozen yogurt…the service was great & it was a good atmosphere with plenty of games to play and claw machines, but the frozen yogurt tasted unbelievably sour. I couldn’t help but think that I was eating expired food the entire time.
Amanda James: My kids and I have been here a few times. I came tonight for a little me time. I treated myself and got the biggest cup. I go to check out and realize my card isn't in my wallet. I was disappointed and embarrassed. Frantic I started counting my change hoping that and the $5 bill I had would be enough. I only has $8 total. She told me not to worry about it and bring the difference when I could. I was SUPER grateful. We will continue to come here.
banjaluka7: Kids loved there frozen yogurt
Jermeshia Triplett: We went for a cancer event but they were pretty nice.
Lucius Vorenus44: Great place for kids and kind service
Fidgets and fun: Yummy
Kandice Steitz: We've stopped by multiple times and it's never opened (even during their business hours)What a bummer!
Margarita S: They were just closed… in the middle of the day. Working hours, huh? What is that? Maybe a notice that you don’t work today or that an employee will be back soon? No again. We drove there for like 15 minutes to see the store closed. Very dissatisfied.
Zenaida Suljic: Love this place!!

Froyo: what do users think?
Olivia Owens: Absolutely disgusting. I will be reporting to the health department
Anonymous: TERRIBLE customer service especially Cecelia and Madison. Never been treated so poorly. HUGE disappointment that we won’t be going back because of those ladies.
Christopher Bradford: Me and my colored friend asked for an application she said yes to me but to my black friend she said they ran out and out of nowhere. she said we don’t have any and have a funny look. racism at it’s finest
JDRO: I’ve come here multiple times within their business hours and they’ve been closed every time.
Lauren: Nice place to get a quick treat for my son.
banjaluka7: Kiddos loved it
Kristen Newman: We love this place but I wish they had a kids size cup. There are only 2 sizes both are pretty large. I know you can add your own amounts but kid sized cups would help with serving sizes. I guess it wouldn't benefit them though. Usually a good selection of froyo flavors and toppings.Update- we went again today (Jan 2023) and there are now multiple size cups to use. Theres a new size that is smaller around but deeper/taller. It's good to see different options available. Even though I'm aware you can control how much goes into each, for kids it's a nice option.
Dean Little: The frozen yogurt was good. The over all appearance seemed a little run down.
Bradley Blackburn: This place is filthy. It’s almost as if high school kids were running the place…oh wait. Seriously though, I can’t believe they haven’t been shut down.
Zen Tran: Delicious yogurt with variety of toppings
J. D.: This location is filthy. We keep giving it another shot, but it just keeps getting worse. The floors are filthy, the windows all are gross, as we can barely stomach being in there to get ice cream and pay. The toppings are always low, they taste warm and old, and it’s just disgusting. They need to step up their game or shut down. Even the parking lot has trash all over.
Bianca Marie: Does not open on time!! If it even opens at all!!
Kayla Dunn: Not open! Says until 9 online but came at 7 and the door was locked and lights were off
slustumpy: Is this place even open? Open sign was on, door was unlocked, but no employees were present. Stood around out front for a few minutes, but no one came out, so i left.
leila: overall good frozen yogurt, def needs some new flavors though
DeLaina Joost: I am telling you, this place was filthy. The floors were so dirty, the toilet had mold inside it, and the tables and chairs hadn’t even been wiped off at all. The lights weren’t even working properly. I felt like I was in a scary movie or something. There were hardly any customers in the place, so the one employee there was not at all busy, but yet she sat behind the counter not saying a word at all and was on her phone for the entire time we were in there. She didn’t even make eye contact with us the entire time because she was so into her phone.
Kate W: Customer service is terrible. Rude and lazy. Walked in two employees just sitting behind counter playing on phones. Go across the street to Cold Stone or Baskin Robbins much better service.
Keelyn Schwegel: The froyo is always good but this place is FILTHY. The machines are dirty, the tables and chairs are disgusting, the floor and floorboards look like they haven’t been cleaned in a year and the bathroom was even worse. Don’t think we’ll be coming back here. It’s just gross.
jesse green: We walked in and it was dark and SO dirty. The guy was really nice, but holy cow. 5 flavors working and the machines looked like they havnt been cleaned in forever. We asked if he knew if the other location by chance had any of their summer flavors and he said he thought so and that they usually have pineapple but their machines have been down. But like if these are all down why are they all covered? Tbh it was all pretty dirty. To give them benifit of the doubt maybe they got slammed before we got there but 🤷‍♀️ we decided just to go to menchies.
Ann Figgemeier: I have no idea what happened to one of our favorite spots, but this location is in desperate need of a good cleaning and some serious maintenance work. One yogurt machine squeaked the entire time we were there, ceiling tiles are falling down, trash overflowing, half of the lightbulbs are missing, many toppings not available. The floor, windows and furniture were all filthy! And while the workers were friendly enough, it would be nice if they could abandon their phones long enough to clean up. How this place got an A from the health department is beyond me. We will definitely be visiting the Ballwin location in the future.
Anthony Abdallah: There ice cream is a dream! FroYo more like ProYo, Lol 😂

Velvet Freeze: what do users think?
Stephanie Sullivan: Always great customer service
whitney jackson: I can't believe the way I was treated by the white elderly lady that sits behind the counter I'm not sure if she is the owner or not but the service was horrible, I decided to come there to treat my nieces and nephew to ice cream they arrived later than I but once they did she locked the door on them and I asked why she said to many ppl inside which it was way more ppl in there that left out before my nieces and nephews arrived then she told me if I unlock the door to let a customer out they can come in and she was sitting right by the door I told her I don't work there so she let the customer out and locked the door back so I try to unlock it to let me family in she said u leave out I'm not letting you back in I'm not sure because I'm black that she treated my like that or what but it was so bad that the white couple behind me left out and apologized to me for how she treated me. I would never go there again. Very POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE .
sheri thomas: I've been enjoying ice cream from Velvet Freeze all of my life. I have shared this nostalgic place with my children and they love it also. It is my honor to have introduced this place to my granddaughter. I believe this is a St Louis staple and I pray that someone always keeps it open.
Kanitra Cowan: I took my nonverbal 4yr old niece here and she was screaming and crying when she saw all the goodies. I asked the lady whom was sitting down if she could ring me up she and the young man yelled at me because I was simply asking someone to ring me up. I've been going here 17yrs and never been treated so rudly. That ended it for me. No more Velvet Freeze. Everyone is not a thief and not everyone looks for a handout. I simply walked out. No need to fuss or curse. But that was absolutely ridiculous Velvet Freeze
Carlos Lumpkins: Best bubble gum ice cream in st Louis!!!
Shariece Womack: Weird feeling..... wasn't greeted just looked at when it was time to order.... 1st/ last time going. I didn't get anything but my nephew and kids did
Denise Person: It's just as I remember from my childhood.
Jalin: Velvet freeze is a nice ice cream. I used to go to it when I was younger and an elderly couple owned and ran it. They were considerate and ultimately decent people. Even though the shop is not “modern” “fancy” it’s still a nice place to go
Ma'Kenzi Rose: This place has been around for a long time and it's been some time and went in there the other day it was the same I mean like old times I really love they ice-cream
Angela Williams: my favorite ice cream in St Louis Missouri and they're very friendly and great customer service skills fast service as well
E. Caldwell: Good number of ice cream flavor options and a great community staple.
Aigner' Moore: I wish I could give this place NO STARS. Me and my friend went there spent over $30 walked out and the cone was HARD AS A ROCK. The l manager was mean as hell. I bit the cone infront of her even took a piece that would not break in half and she insisted that's how they are supposed to be but my friend did the same thing and it was perfectly fine. Her only excuse was " That's How They're Made".. don't go here the place looks dirty and the guy with dreads isnt any better. The snacks there be expired I asked him were they good he replied "check the dates"🤣 pathetic
Larry Powell: Very good old style ice cream and cookies.
Juanita Blanks: Good ice cream and snacks
Diamond Teardrops: Very kind people and I love Velvet Freeze ice cream to me they have the best ice cream in St Louis one spoonful and you are addicted you can't put the spoon down before you know it you have an empty container☺💛💛💛💛👅💦🍦🍨
Algerethea Brown: Best ice cream in St. Louis and Custo.er Service is so Wonderful. The staff makes you feel very welcomed. Thanks Velvet Freeze
Kalandra Belk: Didn't get a Hello when you walked in the guy said we only accept EBT or cash (we dont have EBT)... ohhh ok that's cool. It felt like a sauna in there, it was junky and just looks dirty. But this will be our only time coming there. Malt was good but the prices seemed to be geared for people that have EBT, aka making them more expensive. I spent almost 17 dollars for 2 single scoops of ice cream cups for my kids and a regular malt, ridiculous.
Al' Lana Broom: SPOILED ICE-CREAM AND CHIPS 🤮🤢The taste was so weird and off-putting.
Caroline Foston (C-Note): Awesome place. My wife brought me here for the 1st time and I enjoyed the many different selections they had. Nice employees. Set up very well. Definitely will be going back for more
Tamika Staten: Only cash and ebt accepted. No debit cards or credit cards accepted.Customer service is mid… Ice cream is good. Prices increased - $3.98 for a scoop.
Millicent “Stretch” Hayden: Awesome and delicious.. Always stop here when I need some good handmade icecream.
