Nithya Rajasekaran: I usually get my wavy, thick hair cut by Paige. I like that they listen to my unclear ramblings and are able to make sense of what works for hair type so that it sits well and grows out well. Unfortunately they're booked out far in advance! I really needed a haircut so I booked with someone else. He straightened my hair and then cut it, so it ended up shorter than I wanted and it didn't sit as great. Upon sharing my disappointment, Casey the receptionist talked to the team and got me in short notice with Paige to adjust my hair. However, after a couple of days my hair adjusted by itself and didn't look as strange as it did freshly cut. It's not exactly what I wanted, but I appreciate everyone's time and kindness trying to fix it!

But I'll say I've had nothing but compliments about the cut ever since and I'm very happy with how I look.The service is also top notch. Want a latte while you wait (not that I had to, as my amazing stylist, Caitlin - who also owns the place and like any small business owner, is very busy - was ready for me as soon as I walked in).I don't think I'll be getting a haircut from anyone else for a long time.

It’s consistently men, children, and an occasional elderly woman.I have spent anywhere ranging from $300 to over $500 a trip and have left each time looking like I got butchered at a hair school.My request yesterday was simply “please get the orange out and make it brown”. Brown. How this ended in me rocking the Ginger Spice and all of my hair broken, I just can’t say. But I paid $326 and they sent me away saying they’d fix it for free. Well, third strike. I can’t go to work like this so I’m going to have to buy box dye.

I worked very hard to grow it out and was accustomed to color. I paid to have it fixed. Paid for products to help damage. Never saw a manger. Never got a sorry. Just “oops”. They fired the stylist and just canceled my appt. Via text. Called salon & I asked to speak to a manager. No one returned my call or cared. We've known each other for a long time now, she never judges when I make a mistake taking care of my hair. She always makes me feel welcome and gives great advice on products and hair care. There have been a few times where I've had to cancel due to job obligations and she has been nothing but kind about it and I always make sure to reschedule. I've had to go to other stylists at the salon because of my crazy work schedule and Trista is always understanding and even helps provide names if she's not available during the schedule I need. Janie Comerio: I needed a root touch up, so I called Salon L as Melinda cut my hair a couple years ago. I hadn't been back since. I contacted the salon and Jill was able to get me in for the root touch up at 11 am Dec 10, 2022. I received at tex at 5:30 am the morning of the 10, stating she was sick and couldn't do my hair. She had never done my hair before, BTW. I proceeded to call back early the next week and Lori, the owner got me in for my root touch up at 1:30 Thursday December 15th. I told her I didn't want a shampoo and blow-dry. She did my roots only, and I left with wer hair and dark stains around my face. View Studio L photo's and you will see the results of a 75.00 root touch up only, no blow dry or style. Plus a 20% tip. The total for the regrowth color cost me 90.00. This is an unacceptable price for the service and the bad root color job I received. I was upset, so I called and nothing was done to offer to satisfy me and make this situation right. This is ludicrous to say the least for a little salon on hampton and fyler and if you can afford 90.00 for a root touch up at Salon L more power to you. It didn't looks to me like anyone was paying this type of price for this particular service. Do not waste your money at a salon that doesn't care that you are satisfied .Service:Hair regrowth

I go to Kirstin Jamerson's "loft" for my haircuts, so her space is hers. Cannot speak about other's Lofts, but the facility where all the Loft's are located is modern, clean, and well maintained.Kirstin gets 5 star's on her own merit: for my wavy/curly haircuts.

Emily F: I booked an appointment with Jen “Nike” vandever. She sent me her policy information which only consisted of cancellation. When it came to my appointment day she cancelled a few hours before our scheduled time. A week later she did my hair. I was looking for a lived in shadow root look with a cool blonde. I was already super light and her pics on Instagram looked great. I left the appointment with TWO different shades of hair.. When contacting her she was extremely rude and unprofessional. Claiming she doesn’t give refunds due to “her policy” that she didn’t have posted anywhere and never sent to me. When asking her to fix it she said she didn’t have time to deal with me and would give me a PARTIAL refund. Which would leave me out of money with my hair still looking awful. She has gone so far as to blocking me on Instagram and not responding to my texts trying to get an appointment to fix this. Rachel Steppig: I went to The Boulevard Hair Co Luxe for the first time, a little over a week ago, to get my long hair chopped off. I am in the process of learning how to care for my naturally wavy hair and thought it would be easier to manage shorter. The staff was very friendly. I had a great experience with the stylist who cut my hair (Rebecca C.). She made me feel comfortable and asked me questions now and then, but it didn’t feel like I was being interviewed. As someone who struggles with social anxiety, this was just about the perfect amount of conversation. Before each step of the process Rebecca talked about what she was going to do and the reason she was going to do it, mostly in reference to my hair type. Overall, I had a great experience and I love my short hair!
