I have been an infrequent customer for about 20 years and The Bed Guy has not disappointed me. 2 futons - one from the relocated Gravois store and my newest acquisition from the Hampton store and several mattresses in between - all went smoothly. The quality is good and prices are good. He delivers when he says he will. I like being able to see and try out what I am buying rather than relying on on-line photos and descriptions. If we need a bed again in the St. Louis area we will start here.
Bryan Wiltfong: We purchased a king set about two years ago. It was time for an upgrade with our headboard. They were able to order us a new one with little hassle. The materials it high quality, strong and strudy. I would highly recommend stopping in and checking out what they offer.

We bought our product from the nicest, knowledgeable woman and when we discovered we left our lights on and our car battery died- get this- she called her husband who was busy on deliveries. He swiftly rerouted his delivery, came by, charged our battery and even gave us a tether as he was concerned my attachment job was so-so and our mattress would come off the roof. He refused compensation for his beyond and above service. And his product was competitively priced and we slept like babies. Highest marks!!!!

It was my bed for about 2 years, and I absolutely loved it (you can't even compare it to a dorm bed, those things were terrible). I slept like a baby on my futon. Now, it's my couch in the entertainment room, and I sleep on a queen bed that he sold me 6 years ago.But the mattress isn't what makes me a forever client of the Bed Guy, the Bed Guy is. A customer service experience that made me feel comfortable about my purchase, and a smile that wouldn't end. The owner was amazing, and I will definitely be coming back for my next bed.

Ali Dad Aliyar: They are rude and doing like scamming I bought bed 3750$ they were responsible for delivery and set up. They brought the bed but the head board was damage and the light of head board didn’t work the first time they told we change the head board tomorrow then after two days I went store he said It take one month . After seven they didn’t change the head board. I went more than ten times but the ignored me finally they refused me and told me go the court or call the police. I waste time and money. Because I paid 3750$ I didn’t receive the bed which I paid my money. I received the damage bed. It is not fear I have to go court or call police for money which I paid.

Delores Saddler: The furniture store sit and sleep for less on Grand South Grand is a ripoff I was very displeased with a product they sold me a bed and wouldn't replace the pieces that was broke they the box spring was no good and they wouldn't replace it the mattress isn't that good either I paid $700 for the mattress they kept lying to me about the bed they came out once to fix it but the box spring it broke the railings on the bed it broke so I had to sleep on the floor with just a mattress they still haven't replaced the box spring and they bought another railing that was too little for the bed when I tried to call them several times they hung up on me I advise anymore do not get no furniture from sit and sleep on South Grand so now I have to go out and try to get me a bed this is the worst experience with furniture I have ever had something need to be done about it so they sold me a bed that wasn't no good and I still haven't heard from them my experience with them was very bad and I will tell others not to shop there I went up there and the manager told me that he didn't have no help no workers I told him about the bed I took pictures then he told me he will sell me a box spring for $100 at first I was willing to buy it but then I waited on him to deliver it he did not deliver it or call me I haven't heard from them the manager in that place and the furniture is no good so I will pursue it another way

Melissa Buchanan: I had a delivery scheduled for today between the hours of 3pm & 7pm with a 30-45 minute call prior. The time is now 7:35pm & I have not received a call or any type of communication as to why my couch was not delivered. I know they outsource for delivery but GUILTY BY ASSOCIATION!!! You should not deal with a company who has bad customer service. I will be going to the store in the morning to see how they will rectify this issue. I will update once I speak with the owners.

It was my first time there and i walked past somebody and an already an employee laughing at a customer's face cause he wanted to offer $500 on an $700 item. The guy responds extremely trashy to anybody who doesn't like his store. Not a nice place for anybody that appreciates respect. "God help all these angry people and haters will be haters" are just a childish trashy way to make excuses of why your not a better person. Also prices are outrageous and not good quality. I had just read the good and bad reviews as well, and these people are not professional at all and have a very bad attitude for anybody that doesn't like their store. I'll be suprized if I don't get a nasty comment with them responding to my review.

David Hall: If you want to pay outrageous prices for "as-is" products then go ahead and shop here but beware, the old guy I believe his name is Ray he is the worst "salesman" I've ever dealt with in my life. They have signs everywhere saying liquidation sale store closing I found a recliner I was interested but all of it is "as-is" so I'm not gonna spend $800 on something I can't return or have a warranty on. I started to haggle prices with him and he immediately laughed at me and walked away and threatened to call the cops on me. I wouldn't give this guy money if it was to save my life. He had an attitude from the second I walked up the most unfriendly person I've ever dealt with in a sales position.

07slowbalt: Originally loved this place, then i was sad to hear they are going out of business. After months of their ads on tv i decided to hop in and see if any deals could be found. All they did was ridiculously OVER price their items and then claim they can drop about 2k off certain couches. The cheapest sectional ran about $4500 with leather options near $10,000! GTFO. At these prices they will never sell out.
Samantha Ernsky: Merchandise is grossly overpriced and then “marked down” to an undisclosed number. The sales associates are like vultures and it’s difficult to shop around the store without being harassed about whatever you happen to briefly look at. I made half a loop through the store and practically ran back out after only a few minutes.

I just wanted to buy to buy the cheapest sofa they had and have it delivered because it is so hard for me to get out the lady said that they could not do that I would have to come into the store keep in mind this sofa is for someone that is 81 years old anyway I understand we're not buying a whole room full of furniture so we're not important enough for you to to be bothered with only one sofa. I'm sure there is a company that would be glad to send a sofa over and collect the money. I'll call someone else

Every time i call i get the run around or “im going to call you back friday” Its been about 20 fridays that have passed and Im still having to reach out ! They keep telling me the manufacture is whats taking so long but now i cant even get a refund and take my money elsewhere because they lost their lease from the Pershall store and moved to this store and gave everyone store credit instead of asking customers if they even wanted to continue waiting on their items. So now im down $400 that i cant get back and no dresser either. Simce giving me store credit i went in the store and pocked out a different dresser of the same value that i saw in the showroom, yet once again THAT ONE ISNT AVAILABLE EITHER ! Ive been picking my clothes from a bin and tv sitting on boxes ! Im so disappointed and will NEVER spend money here again !

The original store went out of business, and now they’re at another location, and they want me to pay more money before my order is “sent in”. Telling me I can’t get a refund. What a crock. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.

I emailed their corporate office, no one answered. No one answered their corporate phones, kept getting a recording. I felt as if I was forced to buy from there because they refused to return my money. I wouldn't shop there if they were the only furniture store in the entire state of Missouri. A one star rating is too high!!

Artsy Q: Was recommended years ago by my sisters, so I took a chance. Great prices on mattresses (not the other furniture though), however the customer service and systems are poor and unreliable (pre, mid and post covid). Told one thing by the manager and assistant manager, then got to the store and told something different by the same manager as if I’m to accommodate their misinformation when I’m acting as I was instructed and on time. Now a second trip is in order to pick up an item that wasn’t at the store as I was promised and which they refuse to mail to me! Won’t be shopping there or recommending again. Love my new mattress is the silver lining. UPDATE: So thankful that management was timely in resolving the issue by dropping the remaining item by my home before end of day. That one act goes a long way and I hope provides an opportunity to do better and for others to enjoy the great mattress prices here. Now for a good night’s rest!
