Kriegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel: what do users think?
Mechelle F: I felt like everyone cared. It didn’t seem like a job that they had to do. Everyone there was so helpful with my daughters transition. We had a lot of special requests. They were accommodating and everything that we asked they went above and beyond. Our request was for cremation, but we did not want a brown casket, and Trisha was able to completely cover all of the brown wood with pink fabric inside and out. I would like to thank everyone.
Vivian Liu: A very beautiful chapel with kind staff. They were very responsive to my family's plans for my grandfather's funeral and everything was very nice. The funeral director was a bit too smiley for the ambience and the priest we had kept trying to pull my grandmother away from the casket which I thought was very disrespectful and annoying, but that was a third-party and not part of the chapel. Overall, good experience, and would contact again if the need arose.
Anita Green: Our experience with this funeral home was exceptional. Our family felt so at peace due to the professional staff and funeral director. Thank you all so much.
Sandy Caspersen: Compassionate care by George, Milton and Morgan through a very difficult time. Thank you all so much.
Fr Tom French: I enjoy working with the staff at Kriegshauser. They are very professional and helpful to my parishioners at Our Lady of the Pillar Church.
Joann Scott: Thank you for the excellent service for both parents .staff did a great job I will recommend you to the world God bless you all
Kim Hallemann: Bob, Paul and the staff at Kriegshauser West did an outstanding job for my family when we lost my mom during the Covid-19 crisis. Thank you all so very much for your thoughts and prayers!
Shelley Timm-Thompson: Robert was a smart, compassionate, director. The facility is beautiful and quite large. They were very comforting and helpful with my father's cremation. I can't say enough good things.
Tom C: George absolutely took our family into his giant arms & heart with sincere care, compassion all while anticipating our needs before we even thought about them.
Bao Zheng: Great service at the highest standards! George's passion, caring and considerations helped us tremendously to get through this most difficult time for our families. Thank you for the 5- Star service!
D Martin: All was very descetely and professionally done. Karl betti was fabulous as was George jr. I would have preferred to see the casket showroom for my choices and not have to talk about the cheap extras( photo book, pendants, et al). Our family is very thankful and appreciative of all that was done for us. Thank you!
Melinda Hagedorn: I am soGrateful to Kreighauser mortuary for all they did forAll of us dealing with the loss of our mother. She was handle with gentle care and made to look as beautiful as she was in life. The compassion of all the employees was beyond what we would have ever expected. Everything was top notch and no pressure was put on is, as we had heard about at other funeral homes. I recommend them with all my heart.Melinda Hagedorn
Chad Yn: Bob and his staff took care of all of our needs during this very difficult time. Bob made himself available outside of office hours and took my phone calls late at night when we have questions and needed to make changes. He was very accommodating, compassionate and professional. We are very pleased with the services we received.
carol wilke: From the time we arrived until the time the service was over, Bob Polydys and his assistant’s guided us through everything. They made a very sad experience go, ever so smooth. We were very happy with everything. We even made our future funeral arrangements with them already.
Sharon Linton: The team at Kreiegshauser Mortuary-West Chapel was so supportive during the time that we were planning the memorial for our Aunt. She had pre-paid and planned so many steps were in place but there were things like Obituaries in the local paper and a desire for specific flowers that were all taken care of smoothly, sympathetically and efficiently. On the day of the Memorial a team member met us at the chapel, welcomed guests and took care of things behind the scenes. Later when we went to Jefferson Barracks for the burial they were there with us making sure that the desires of all of the out of town family members were met. Thank you so much!
Kelly Nicely: Bob and Karl went out of their way to handle the loss of our daughter with compassion and dignity. They also worked with us to help make sure we could afford everything. These people are all wonderful and kind, and will ensure that this most difficult time goes as easily and smoothly as possible.
Tracy Stone: George and Karl were exceptionally kind, understanding and professional while arranging my father's service. The facility was well appointed and comfortable. The entire staff was respectful and helpful during a very difficult time. Thank you for all your help.
Leo Donovan: Everyone was great. Thanks for making this a most memorable happening.
Off Duty Police St Louis: Always professional and caring.
Darrell Lewis: The staff at Kriegshauser West Mortuary was so professional, friendly and caring. I'd like to give a shout out to funeral director Liz for the personalization she put on my family member funeral services. Everything and I mean everything was just great and on behalf of my beloved brother, I like to give a thanks to each and every staff member. Job exceptionally well done.
Barbara Henderson: The Staff and Directors at Kriegshauser Mortuary West Chapel were very efficient and professional in handling the needs of our family during the planning of the arrangements for our beloved family Husband/Father. William C Harris Funeral Directors- Spanish Lake Chapel: what do users think?
Precious Nd: William C Harris.....when it's your turn, I hope your grave gets treated the same way as you do the people in the back of the cemetery at Oak Grove Cemetery (near the Chapel area).
Aunya Hall: I'm not recommending stars at all. I wouldn't recommend this funeral home ever again.
Ayonnas Stewart: Treated My Family So Well. When it came down to planing my brother funeral Tierra Was So kind to us felt like we were family. The staff was nice. Thanks a lot William C Harris
Christina Williams-Price: Thank you William C Harris for taking great care of our loved one. You all made this process as painless as possible. Our family truly did appreciate everything. Special thanks to Mr. French for being just a call away when we needed him. Again, thank you so much on behalf of Mr. Erick D. Roberts family.
Rannetta R: I had a great experience working with Gerald and Nicole. Gerald made sure everything needed for the arrangements was shared and handled in a timely fashion. With his advice and recommendations handling my loved one funeral arrangement wasn’t stressful because he provided excellent customer service.
Kween Quita: Gerald French is a wonderful, professional Funeral Director. I originally had chosen another funeral home that failed me. I called William C. Harris and they began to put the broken pieces together for me. Gerald allowed me to send my husband to Glory the way I saw fit. Not one time did I feel like I wasn't important.
Adrienne Horton: Mr. Gerald French and the entire staff at William C. Harris took very good care of my father. This was the hardest thing me and my family has gone through and they were so patient with us and extremely thorough. I cannot thank them enough for the tremendous service. We are forever grateful.
KeKe B: First, I would like to say "Thank you" to Mr. Gerald B. French for not just his professionalism, but his compassion for what my sister and I were experiencing in the days after our mothers passing on 12July 2022.We had the most horrific, traumatizing experience with the previous funeral home (McClendon Mortuary) where our mother had originally decided to have her service. My sister decided to transfer our mother to William CJ Harris Funeral Directors at Spanish Lake because she had been here for another service and loved how the staff handled everything. We also were having constant issues with McClendon and grew beyond aggravated at how our mothers services kept getting postponed (an entire different story) During the incident with McClendon, my sister contacted Mr. French and advised that the funeral home was not trying to release our mother and we wanted her picked up ASAP and transferred out of there. Mr. French was there within 10 min. Picked up our mother and we followed him to the location. mr. French explained all the details, pricing, what we wanted, and how the services would need to be. After this, EVERYTHING went beautifully and I know our mother was happy and finally at peace. When the van came to pick our family up for the services, both gentleman wore our mothers favorite color, pink in honor of her.Such a professional staff, who is NOT about the money but about our LOVED ONE. The passion each person has about their duties is beyond OUTSTANDING.Mr. French, Cecilia and the owner Mr. Harris- We thank you for taking are of our mother Mary L. Bennett, she looked so beautiful just as she was when she was in this realm doing her work- in LOVE.Mr. French has gained new family within us.With the most love at heart,KeKe and Jay
Robin Jaouni: I would like to thank William C Harris and the entire staff, especially Mr.French. While making the arrangements for my mom’s home going celebration, Mr. French was compassionate, empathetic, very professional and honest throughout the entire process. He never tried to force anything on my family and I during the process. I was extremely impressed by the entire staff professionalism. My mom looked absolutely Amazing! I’m glad my family and I chose Willam C Harris Funeral Directors and Cremation. Thank you so much for caring for my mom and for the support my family and I were provided during our difficult time of bereavement.
shree Lindsey: Words can't express how wonderful our experience was with you guys! We are very appreciative and thankful how we were treated. Most of our family normally use you all and now I see why. I lost my granddaughter so my husband and I assist with arrangements, so at first we chose a different funeral home trying to make it easier for my daughter by choosing one very close to her home. Boy was that a bad mistake! It was such a horrible experience. So we decided to go to William C Harris. It was a breath of fresh air. They were so professional and caring. Gerald was amazing! He turned our sorrow into happiness. He even had us laughing at at time like this. He went above and beyond. He so patience with my daughter and he made us feel so comfortable He even made special requests of my daughter happen that he didn't have to. . All of staff was professional and wonderful as well . The day of the funeral Mr.Harris checked on us and made sure things were going well . I hope we won't need them again but if we do they will forever be our go to home.
Michael Blackmon: Here's where things went horribly wrong. My mother was very specific that she did not want to see the box of cremains. She repeated it several times. We chose a keepsake urn and Mr. Harris told us that Oak Grove has an ossuary where the rest of my father's cremains would be spread. We were told that it would have an eternal flame. We thought that this was the perfect thing for my dad, so we chose that. We were also told that we would be called when his cremains would be ready for us to pick up. That didn't happen. My mother and I decided to do a very private "ceremony" where we would say a few words along with my best friend ( she knows Mr Harris personally) on Feb 6th. I went into the funeral home , however when I got there what was presented is not what we agreed on. I was presented with the big box which is exactly what my mother did not want to see. I told the gentleman that and mentioned the ossuary to which he replied "I don't know what that is". Imagine my dismay to hear this. We had specific instructions that we wanted the keepsake urn (which was provided, so they did get that right), and another small bag for our memorial. That wasn't done, and I told Mr Harris. He informed the gentleman what was supposed to be done, so I watched the gentleman pour some of my father's cremains into a ziploc bag with the door open and no privacy. I actually had to ask for more. That was supposed to be presented in a box. That didn't happen. We left the box with the understanding that his cremains would be spread at the ossuary. However, when my mother went to pick up the death certificate, she was presented with the box of cremains. Imagine her dismay and how upsetting that was to her. I do not know why this happened yet again. After I left St. Louis, I made several calls as to when my father's cremains would be scattered ,and if I could see a picture of the ossuary. Once again the person answering the phone had no clue what that was. I also voiced concerns of how cremains would be protected ie: what's to prevent someone to sticking their hands in it and disturbing loved ones' final resting place. Mr Harris said that they would put something up to prevent people from being able to do that. Every time I called no one knew what the ossuary was or where. What we weren't told is that it wasn't finished. So from Feb to June my father sat in the funeral home. During this neither my mother nor I were disrespectful to any of the staff nor were they were to us. It was just extremely poor communication. The way that I found out that there was no ossuary was coming home a month later and driving to the cemetery. The woman working the desk at the cemetery office didn't know what I was talking about. I then spoke with Mr. Harris and that's when he told me what was going onI was coming home for Father's Day, so we set a plan to scatter his cremains that day. The ossuary was exactly what my father would have wanted. And the flame was very pretty to see. Every thing that day was handled with care , and to be honest knowing that my father wasn't in his resting place for 5 months wore on me.Fast forward to the Thanksgiving holiday. My mother and I decided to go the cemetery. When we got to the cemetery we could see the flame was no longer on. If they only have it on for moments when families scatter their loved ones remains, then we should have been told. More poor communication. In addition, there was nothing over the well part to keep anything out as was discussed in Feb. So what I saw was an ossuary with no flame, leaves and weeds inside. It had not been kept at all. What made things worse was unless someone recently poured cremains in the exact place I did in June, I saw my father's cremains mixed in with leaves and weeds. When I spoke to the ground keeper who was the manager, he informed me that they turned the flame off "because it was running up their gas bill". Perhaps I'm being idealistic, but when I hear "eternal flame", I imagine it is at least on during open hours.
Shirley Allen: I didn't have a lot on hand with mr.Harris, but what I can say thanks, they did a wonderful job. My mom looked absolutely beautiful. Thanks for your services special Thanks to Mickey from Shirley Allen Ms.Lillian Daniels... Family
Marilyn Robinson: William C Harris did an awesome job on the funeral arrangements for my sister in law. Gerald French (Funeral Director ) was very patient and helpful through the entire process. My sister in law was absolutely beautiful. Thanks to the entire William C Harris staff.
De'Ja TheGoat: They couldn't even give my brother a full hour for his viewing. Rushed his funeral and disrespectfully spelled his name wrong 8 different times on his obituary. Just terrible I look at this obituary everyday and it bothers every nerve in my body. The pure disrespect. Couldn't even spell his name right. But took our money and told us to get on with his funeral. His name is Jovon Mondaine. And he deserved an obituary that represented him well. Not something slopped together. Don't go here. Just about a dollar they don't care about the grieving families let alone have respect for the dead to spell their name right. Jovon Mondaine was loved and y'all owe his family a FREE reprint for his obituary.
sheila hazely: Losing a loved one unexpectedly can be so devastating. It can become even more overwhelming trying to navigate thru all the planning. We are thankful that Gerald French at William C.Harris was there to offer such personalized care and service. Thank you and the other staff for your support during such a sorrowful time for our family.
Erica A: William c Harris funeral services went above and beyond for me. Delivered exceptional service and my grandpa looked so good! Took a couple years off him. Ask for the Director he was so kind and helpful! I would recommend them 100%!
Teejay_11: Really kind great people
Daneisha Bowers: The service for my loved one was beautiful, and the staff was very professional and helpful. Thank you for making this hard time a little easier!
Vanessa Carbbins: I would like to celebrate William C Harris Funeral Home. On the excellent service that was provided on December 11, 2021 as we celebrate our love one's home-going services. The entire family felt that William C. Harris did an amazing job and this helped our family transition into our new normal. Thank you again, William C Harris.Vanessa Carbbins/Kim Parks & Family.
Kim Bowers: Gerald and the staff were very professional, my brother looked amazing, the home going celebration was great. Overall I am very pleased with the service, so happy we decided to go with William C Harris.
Christy Brown: Let me tell you about my experience. When I made that first call for my love one. The staff was very professional and polite. They called the next day to set up a day for the arrangements. The lady was wonderful. She worked around my schedule for an appointment. When I came in for my appointment I met with Gerald. He made the whole situation much easier for my two young adult children. The day of the service... let me tell you when I seen my husband. He looked so beautiful. They did a wonderful job. It made us just smile and cry. I will reccomend them to anybody. I have NO complaints.

Alex Hill: Unprofessional and cancelled the wake of one of my family members the night before.
Rhoda Pruitt: We were supposed to celebrate the life of my uncle this morning but Dominic was very unprofessional and canceled it the night before. He is unprofessional and will tell you anything in the moment but he does not have his knowledge of whats needed and told my grieving family something that was not true. Im disgusted at the service provided.
Autumn Gay: I wish that you could give zero stars. Dominic is basically holding my grandfather hostage. He is completely unprofessional. He made promises he couldn’t keep. I asked him if he was sure he could get these tasks for the wake done within the timeline he picked. He completely drop the ball and did absolutely nothing. He refused to provide us with the contact information for his boss. He sent texts to my aunt out of office hours stating that my grandfather’s services are canceled. All my family and friends who are traveling to be with us will have to be told that this horrible man and this horrible place robbed my family of sharing these final moments. This man is incompetent and should be replaced immediately.
Jannet Cooksey: Very on point with EVERYTHING! Truly satisfied.

Juanita Roberson: No. It's personal. To me
shree Lindsey: I chose this place because of all good reviews. This was our first experience and this experience was horrible. Very disrespectful and showed no compassion what so ever. Dominic was 30 min late and it went down hill from that. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I'm so hurt I don't even want to go in details. We felt like Dominic really didn't want to to business with us. It would have been much better if he would said we're booked and can't really accommodate you instead of giving lousy service. I'm very shock this place doesn't have any bad reviews. It gotta be a inside job. So glad we went with another business. Don't want another grieving family to experience what we did.so I had to share this.
Kim Haynes: I would like to thank Dominic for his professionalism as the Funeral Director. He had the answers for all of my questions concerning my love one and assured me that everything will be ok. It was. My Love one looked great. Once again thank you for your service. The staff at A.L.Beal was great 👍🏾

Granberry Mortuary: what do users think?
Lucy Byrd-Bonds: My brother, nephew was in there care and was very much taken care of. Everyone was nice.
Shenelle Harris: My Grandmother, Father and several relatives and family friends have been entrusted to Granberry Mortuary. The highest respect and dignity was shown to my family. I highly recommend there services.
Adrienne Horton: If I could rate this place a zero, I would. My dad passed unexpectedly while being on the road as a truck driver and the experience getting him home through Grandberry was horrific. Beverly Grandberry was extremely unprofessional and blamed my grieving mother for all the miscommunication. When my dads flight landed, Aaron from Grandberry did NOT go pick him up. So my deceased father stayed at the airport overnight, yet Aaron told my mom he would pick him up upon his 6pm arrival. We switched our services to William C. Harris whom I would highly recommend.
Pamela Edgar: I visited their website regarding the death of one of their employees (as well as my friend and church member), Deacon Michael Rush. I lit a candle in his memory, and left a personal message on their website.
Kim Marsaw: They take care of your loved one and have the deceased looking nice thank you Granberry for your great service and all that you do to keep your customers Happy
Angela Gilmore: They treated my loved one well and the service to burial were all done professionally! I appreciate them!
Annie Sykes: I went to a cousin funeral. And my cousin looked very nice. But I had to pass up doors and walk around to the front side door to enter. Also I was in the back room and I could not hear or see the funeral. There needs to be a tv and a speaker in the back room. There was a tv across the hall but not in the back room. The staff was kind and well dressed and at your call if you asked a question or needed something.
Ronda Underwood: I wouldnt recommended this place for anyones family member.
Juan Conway: My experience was HORRIBLE! My Fathers casket had scratches all on it that the failed to repair or replace prior to his services. We specifically asked & had it in writing, please DO NOT to cut his beard and the cut it all off...The grand finale was when Ms Beverly came in their chapel yelling at our family right in front of my fathers grieving grandchildren. No one was ignorant or out of control. My wife and I tried to calm her down in the hall way to NO AVAIL!Some of the staff apologized but the owner was too arrogant to apologize. The only thing positive I can say about this place is ArchBishop West who is the epitome of compassion and professionalism. Mr Jason was an amazing help as well. If your looking for a funeral home I wouldn’t suggest you let them take care of your dog.
Jane Dough: Miss Beverly, Miss Leslie and 9Jason were a big help to me when my Mom passed (01-25-21)
nikesha Morrow: This funeral home is very manipulative and takes advantage of greiving families. My mother and I have never planned a furneral. We asked for a qoute over the phone and was told that we had to come in, they don't do qoutes over the phone. Not sure of what we needed we brought in all my decease relative personal infomation. One of the personal pieces of information was an old insurance policy. My mother and I did not think the insurance policy was active, but the furneral home said they will verify for us. A male staff employee took the insurance policy to verify if it was active. The same male employee came back and said the insurance policy was active. Then we sat with an older female staff employee. The female staff employee tried to trick us into purchasing an expensive casket 1800 dollars alone and doing many unnecessary things. We went home home and called on the same insurance policy and found out it was an inactive policy. Luckily my mom and I did not have our love one body moved. We did get my love one buried but not with this funeral home, because of the trickery and witch craft they tried to pull. Do not waste your time.
Gail Lee: Good people good staff I would everyone know about them
Adrian “Nissi” Edwards: Professional and compassionate services for my family during our times of bereavement. We have always been treated very well with patience, guidance and empathy for our funeral and cremation needs. Thanks so much Granberry staff for making the arrangements easy. You are appreciated!
Nicole Robinson: I work at another funeral home in St. Louis and we had a pick up today at Granberry Mortuary and as pulling up to the funeral home we called to see where to go and nobody would answer the phone. And in the house next door a man was yelling ( can i help you, come back Monday, she"s not in ) so me and my coworker got back in the truck and a man came out of the funeral home and asked could he help us? so we told the man we were for a pick up he respondent (Yeah just back your truck into the loading dock) and that"s what we did and when we got out the truck the owner Ms. Beverly came and told us we wouldn't be able to get the love one until Monday becuse nobody called and told her we was coming and then she slamed the door in our face. very unprofessional i would never send my loved one to GRNBERRY MORTUARY.
Richard Burgoyne: Beware, there are no Angels here!! Watch every step you tale and every word you hear uttered. Do Be Ever Vigilant!U Are about to be taken! Taken advantage of in your grief. And, for those first time family members, who aren’t familiar with the process; Find someone who is, to go with you - a Priest/a Pastor. You are about to be taken advantage of!!
D C Jam: Did a great job with my father funeral
Trevor C: About 2 years back, i passed their hearse around downtown STL and the driver had a casket drapped with a flag heading towards S bound 55. But the disturbing thing was he was talking on his cellphone with a convoy of cars behind.
Joe Holliman: The Granberry's and Staff is wonderful people. They lay my king to rest like a king. I appreciate everything they did for me and my family. I use there services again and I recommend them highly. Very professional.Thank you all so very much.Mrs.Stephanie Y. Holliman
Becky Peters: My boyfriend's funeral was there. He looked exactly like himself. No makeup or anything. He looked like he was just sleeping. They were.very accommodating and so nice and.professional.
Jack Rabbit: Granberry was very professional and organized .We truly thank you for your services and handling our loved one she was very beautiful. I recommend Granberry to take care of your loved ones in the time of need.
G Anderson: Yesterday my Great Aunt's funeral was held at Granberry Mortuary. I went with my aunt who has MS (muscular sclerosis). She walks on a walker. I parked her car right next to the entrance where there were about 5 steps that she was fine walking up and down (she likes to do as much as she can while she can). When the funeral was over a few of the staff there asked that she walk around to the front where it was handicap accessible but she explained my car is closer to this exit and I would like to walk out this way. The staff understood, told her to be careful and let her walk. The owner then came and insisted that she turn around and walk all the way to the from of the mortuary after she had already made it 90% of the way to the car. She explained my car is right here I'm fine. He then got upset and told her "Well don't fall in my mortuary" He looked at me as I was assisting her and said "She needs to go out of the front" I told him I had already asked her and she was fine. Our car is literally parked at the end of the steps. He then said rudely, "You make sure this woman don't fall walking down my steps." As if I wasn't helping her already. I told him there was no need to be rude there were four of us at the door with her. He says while pointing in my face. "You make sure she don't fall like I said GOOD BYE." I asked him why are you so rude and pressed. Don't you have Insurence for things like that. "YEAH I GOT INSURENCE BUT SHE AINT ABOUT TO SUE ME. I ALREADY TOLD YOU DON'T GO THIS WAY AND I BET MY LAWYERS ARE BETTER THAN YOURS. NOW GET ON OUT MY BUILDING AND MAKE SURE THIS WOMAN DON'T FALL ON MY PROPERTY. I explained to him that services were paid for by my grieving family and that he should have a little more compassion seeing as though this is a funeral of a family member. So he asked me "DID YOU PAY FOR IT? NO YOU DID NOT SO GOOD BYE." (My father's funeral was held at there so I was pissed because I have personally paid for services at this funeral home.) By this time I asked him to leave us alone and let us leave in peace. "I DONT HAVE TO LEAVE NO WHERE THIS IS MY FUNERAL HOME. YOU JUST HURRY UP AND GET OUT." This man followed us all the way to our car and continued to argue and agitate us despite us grieving. He is the rudest funeral home owner I have ever witnessed in my life. PLEASE DO NOT LET THIS MAN PUT YOU FAMILY TO REST! I would never ever have another family members service there. There was no air, we were rushed out and the owner was so rude and insensitive to our circumstances. REPOST PLEASE!

Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary: what do users think?
Bob Schlueter: This is the place for ALL FUNERAL NEEDS...Ask for Carl!!!!
Katie Cothron: Liz really showed our family care and compassion during the difficult time of navigating my Dad's death. She not only came to our house to bring and retrieve paperwork, but brought back to us what we needed. It was a great experience.
SabrinaThe MidAge Witch: From the time we walked in, everyone was super attentive, my dad looked so, peaceful and many people showed up.The cards, guess book, the disc, all those special touches, made this celebration special. The balloons , the flowers… the placement of the balloons, the food, the music 🎶 the video,I’m so happy, and it turned a sad occasion into a celebration!!Thank you 🙏 Liz, Karl , Ray and all the staff !!Phenomenal!!
Roseann H: Everything was handled as delicately as they could be. Gwen even had my deceased husband’s file in case we wanted to do anything the same … which we did.
Stephanie Benbow: Elizabeth Zempel has been excellent during this entire process. Even though I'm in the business, it's not easy when you're on the other side of the table. She has been very patient, and I would recommend her to anyone who may be in need of her services. Liz, thank you so much for working with me during this time
Mark Bertuso: Professionl and very caring
Teresa Hill: I found the staff at Hoffmeister Mortuary to be very helpful, consoling and warm during the recent sudden loss of my father. They made a hard and difficult time much easier and less stressful.
Geralyn Jacob: Carl was able to address and answer every question. He was a pleasure to work with. We hadn't a clue as to what we were doing so his experience and professionalism was a great comfort and help.
Michael Cobb: Far exceeded our expectations and hopes, sincerely. I'm going to assume the team at Hoffmeister Colonial offers the kind of care and attention that they did for us to all, which leaves us, if possible, even more amazed. We couldn't have a higher recommendation.
Stephanie: Liz was an amazing funeral director. Her help at such a difficult time was warm and caring. Kept us well informed and handled all our details impeccably. Thank you so much for what you do! You are so appreciated!
Maria Schowengerdt: Liz and Karl and the rest of the truly, exemplary team at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary in St. Louis handled everything seamlessly and perfectly when my father was buried in February of 2022. I cannot recommend this beautiful mortuary and the fabulous individuals working there enough as I am certain no other funeral parlor/chapel could've done a better job. They made a sad event in my life a beautiful, peaceful one and I know my father would've been immensely pleased with how everything was handled and so well taken care of. "Care" is the operative word, here: Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary and everyone there genuinely cares about you and your loved one.
Carroll H: Gwin made sure you were cared for and made everything so special in every way she could. If you needed anything they made sure you had it . I want to be there when I go for sure they where fantastic just like family for a sad day they are the best to help they made my day full of comfort and caring and eased my pain .they are the best you'll be happy you chose them they go a mile+ to be sure you get all that you need with love and comfort .
John Denando: Met with them today for my mother and they could not have been more caring and genuine.
David Strom: I received excellent service from Liz at Hoffmeister/Colonial. From our first contact – which was intentionally done via email – to our last, she was more than professional. It is a hard role to play: part grief counselor, part customer service, part family mediator, part explaining the technical details about what happens to your loved one after they pass. It requires a deft touch to wear these numerous hats with aplomb and just the right amount of empathy but not fawning or unctuous. She was extremely responsive to our questions – which were numerous – and guidance was appropriate, compassionate, and helpful. I highly recommend them.
Bill Newman: Hoffmeister is a first rate organization with outstanding personnel. I have used them twice and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Holly Edgell: The staff made us feel comforted and that everything would turn out as planned. They made it known that they understood how special and unique our parents were. Thank you!
Annette DeGreeff: Found Hoffmeister to be very friendly, amazingly efficient, and comfortingly thorough with their handling of my Mother's arrangements. Definitely recommend them!
Nate Tripp: We were very pleased with how supportive the staff at Hoffmeister have been during a difficult time. Our papa passed away after a long illness and it happened just before Thanksgiving as the recent lockdown was imposed. Hoffmeister seamlessly integrated with our family's plan and helped us have a safe funeral service / celebration of our papa's life. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being so kind and helpful.
Dennis Hunt: From our first contact with the staff at Hoffmeister Colonial, we received courteous, compassionate, and professional care for our family. Every request was accommodated without question. Each step of this painful process was explained clearly. We never felt rushed to make decisions. Our Funeral Director, Gwen, was attentive and responsive to our every need. She accompanied us through the entire process, including responding to me on her day off. My father would have been very happy with the results. Thank you from our entire family.
paula knapp-baker: At such a difficult time with an unexpected loss I could not ask for anything more. They were so patient, kind and understanding. They really took the time to help me through this process. I would highly recommend using their services
Michael Barbay: Could not ask for a more Understanding and helpful funeral director. Gwen is the best. Thank you for all you did.

Fey Funeral Home Inc: what do users think?
Johnny Smith: I can not say enough about the professionalism and courteous service I have received from the family owned and operated Fey Funeral home. My family has utilized the services Rebecca and her family offer for about 20 yrs..... I just want to give a big thank you for all they have done...
Shane Richardson: Very respectful family business that understands life and grief. Took wonderful care of my father in law and all family was very happy with funeral service. Thank you very much.
Lawonda Bush: They have been wonderful and caring people and through this whole process. They explained everything to us and helped us through everything. They made everything so much easier and not pushy and let us figure out what was best for our family.
Sandra McCall: Excellent service. Very caring. We used their services for our much loved father. Would highly recommend.
Aaron Paul: Fey took care great care of my family during the unexpected passing of my father. We called them and they came to the house and removed the body from the bedroom. They found the exact casket we wanted and got it to us in a timely manner. They were able to get us all the copies of the death certificates we needed. The funeral director conduct himself in a professional manner and exceeded our expectations. The drivers in the procession were very safe and courtesy. If your in need of a funeral or want to do a prearrangement this is the place to go. Look no further!
James Watson: Very respectful of my family
Larry Miner: This past week Fey conducted the funeral services for our Mother who was going to be interned at Jefferson Barracks with Dad. I had made pre-arrangements knowing that I didn't want to make arrangements right after her passing. Throughout the pre-arrangement and the funeral service, their staff was personal, respectful and very professional. I selected Fey by chance, because they were very close to Jefferson Barracks. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other Funeral Homes I "interviewed" before selecting Fey. Their motto and behavior was "keep it simple". I highly recommend them, and in particular recommend pre-arranging the service with them.

Eddie Randle & Sons Funeral Home: what do users think?
DONNA SCOTT: I called several funeral homes in St. Louis to complete my Aunt’s final journey from Miami to St. Louis for interment at Jefferson Barracks National cemetery. This is a family owned business and it shows. They were excellent in every way. The choice was a no-brainer. Communications, accommodations and value were far above the rest. The others were more concerned with charging inflated prices and communications were horrible. I just tired of leaving messages and waiting for a call back with one of the others. Everyone at Randle Eddie and Sons who I spoke with over the phone and met in person were professional and just plain friendly, compassionate individuals. I highly recommend.
Lorayne Pettus: IMy family has done business with this family business many times they are absolutely the best
Greg Bruckerhoff: Today I Released Doves at a Funeral Service provided by Eddie Randle & Sons Funeral Home, I love working with Family business! Great Job, Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🕊🕊🕊
Jabari Hayes: Planning a funeral is never easy, but Mrs. Gardner the funeral director made it seamless. She was warm, understanding and professional as was her staff. At this vernerable time she never tried to upsell me and even suggested numerous ways to honor my father, yet save some money in the process. Randle and Sons arranged for the transportation and preparation of my father from Atlanta to St. Louis, provided options on cemetaries, recommended affordable yet classy caskets in addition to providing a excellent musician. They were on time, called several times throughout the process and I would recommend them to everyone for their relatives or friends.
Lendy Eichorn: We called them at 8:45am to pick up or mom. It is12:06 and they are not here.
