Carl Garland: I decided to take my time and do a review on Baucom's Life Celebration Center because of the outstanding service I received while doing a preplanned funeral. Most people do survey's to complain but I wanted to share a few things about what good customer service can do.. I was looking to do a preplan funeral plan and to be honest I thoroughly searched for the funeral home I was most comfortable with. I went to 6 funeral homes, 3 black and 3 white. Baucom's was the best because not only did they treat me with respect, they were very attentive to all of my needs and fair with cost. There were cheaper funeral homes and some more expensive. Some acted like they never did a preneed, that really confused me. Phillis Randle who handled my preneed was very knowledgeable and patient with me and took the time to explain each and every aspect of the process. More importantly the funeral home represented to me, a place where I would want my funeral services to be held when I pass because they seem to care about how I would be represented when I'm gone. Like I said, if you do like me, visit several funeral homes. You will start observing how different funeral homes handle themselves, very unprofessional, rushing you through the process just to overcharge you for unnecessary cost and say whatever and then goodbye. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the environment at Baucom's. Trust me I was very particular about where I wanted to be and who was going to handle my remains once I'm gone. There are quite a few funeral homes. Trust me they aren't all the same. I just don't see how you can go wrong with Baucom's. This should be the last stop in my opinion. I know this was a lot but it's all true. If something is misspelled or the sentence is not sounding right. You get the picture! Good luck in your search.

MD Stldrummerboy: This was the worst funeral home I've ever been to. By far the most unwelcoming place I've ever seen. They wouldn't even let family stand and talk to each other during the visitation. We were told we had to sit down in the chairs in front of the body or go out side (in December!). They had the lobby completely closed off. They didn't even have rest rooms available. And instead of putting family pictures and memories on both projectors, they used one projector to display their covid policy, even during the service as the pasture spoke. The owner was also distasteful enough to give everyone a speech about covid before he would let the pasture speak. Then to top it off, the procession escorts left a bunch of people in the parking lot to get stuck by oncoming traffic and at several traffic lights while never allowing them catch up to the procession. I think 3 or 4 cars got lost and never made it. Pick a different place. Your loved ones deserve better than this!

Tom Kutis was an incredible help, patiently answering each and every question I had and ensuring that I was updated every step of the way. He also was very upfront about all of the costs associated with their service and burial.The additional complications of having them buried in a national veteran's cemetery were almost non-existent thanks to the staff's help. The level of care, respect and ownership taken throughout the entire process was unmatched, and the upfront honest nature of Tom Kutis would make me absolutely recommend this funeral home to anyone else.

Larry Miner: This past week Fey conducted the funeral services for our Mother who was going to be interned at Jefferson Barracks with Dad. I had made pre-arrangements knowing that I didn't want to make arrangements right after her passing. Throughout the pre-arrangement and the funeral service, their staff was personal, respectful and very professional. I selected Fey by chance, because they were very close to Jefferson Barracks. Their pricing was very reasonable compared to other Funeral Homes I "interviewed" before selecting Fey. Their motto and behavior was "keep it simple". I highly recommend them, and in particular recommend pre-arranging the service with them.
