Darla LE: People are nice. The store is clean on the inside but the outside is a mess of trash and potholes. They make enough money off us to fix and clean the parking lots. The other stores parking lots are very clean and well kept. This let's me know what they think of us.

Nancy Greenwalt: They are very racist at this store toward white elderly women I went back after being away and shopping at dollar general I walked in to family dollar this woman didn't want to wait on me so this other woman took her place and rang me up then when I was leaving I saw that woman went back and help the other customers with there purchases that was rude of her it made me feel alienated I gave family dollar 25 years of business and now I feel I can't go back to family dollar it has change and I feel like I'm not wanted there!

Camille Scott: I'm not sure who is writing these reviews, but they must be mistaking this location for a different one. I frequent this family dollar because I live in the neighborhood. Unfortunately I have more negative feedback than positive. Where do I start.....The parking lot is littered with trash, their is a woman always begging right outside the front door, The shelves are never stocked or the stock is sitting in the isle. The staff is congregating and not working to put out stock or ring out customers. Most of the staff have a nasty attitude and is not helpful. This location needs to be closed, remodeled, and new staff should be hired. Maybe we will get a updated store once the demographic changes from the development. It is sad this has to occur before we value a neighborhood store.

Of the past eight times I've gone, all between the hours of 1PM and 7PM, the store has never been open and it seems to be the case regardless of what day of the week it is. Good service and products otherwise, but I've been forced to get my groceries elsewhere simply because I can't find when the store is open.

It's sad because I've witnessed elderly people walk to the store with their canes and have to stand around and wait for it to open. I called corporate about this issue in the past who said they'd have the district manager look into it. Obviously nothing happened with that because nothing has changed at all.

They assume everyone is out to get them and or are thieves. Makes me wonder how they are still in business. I've seen the occasional roach scatter by.

I appreciate the ability to find items cheaper than Target or other department stores. They had a good selection of Christmas items, cleaners, food items, etc. However, there was what looked to be an hours-old spill of brown liquid near the freezers in the back.

Ever since they "remodeled" it and hired these new workers they seem to make up their own hours. Amanda Rodewald: Just reorganized their entire store and, while regulars like me (not to mention the employees) have trouble finding anything for the moment, it's definitely an overall improvement. The employees are almost always polite and helpful, even friendly. This store also keeps better stocked than many Family Dollar locations, perhaps because it's not nearly as busy as many of them. The only thing that prevents me from awarding a fifth star is their irregular hours; probably 5-10% of the times I arrive they've either closed half an hour before their posted hours or hung up a sign saying "back in 30 mins." I'm sure they have good reasons, but as a customer it makes it difficult to even be confident that I can shop there.

Second I bought a pack of white t shirts and a pack of tank tops and since they put the theft protection device all the way thru my shirts and folded multiple times when I got home I had 6 small holes in every one of my shirts. Those small holes become big holes after you wash them. Will never spend my money there again.

Wanda Day: I slipped on a shower caddy in the middle of a household aisle. Several aisles had boxes and merchandise in the middle where it was hazardous. I went to the manager and she was on the phone while checking customers out, talking to her personal bank on speaker phone. She didn't assist me or apologize. Now my leg and groin area is hurting and my leg is weak and tingling. I have to go to urgent care.
Latasha Jones: This location was HORRIBLE!!! there were pallets of boxes everywhere, empty shelves, it was a disarray of everything. 4 employees only opened 1 register while the other 3 employees stood to the front of the store conversating.1 employee even turned people away saying that the store was closed, but it was 20 minutes before the store actually closed. I WILL NOT revisit this location. If I could give zero stars I would.

Nene Izzy: I visited this site Saturday evening 2/8/2020 around 6:30 p.m. There were no shopping carts in the store and I had a lot of items to purchase. An employee was so helpful assisting me by taking the full hand basket to the front and bringing me another several times. Although they were busy with other customers, as well as stocking shelves, never once did they hesitate to help me find items. One gentleman was Jay and I didn't get the other man's name they both provided exceptional customer service. I am truly impressed by your efforts and the kindness shown to me during my visit. Sometimes working with the public may be a handful but know that you both exceeded my high expectations. Thank you!!

I depend on Family Dollar for certain items which I consider to be my necessities. Their prices are more than reasonable and the local Family Dollar is around the corner.

Ed Becton: I tried to buy some tea light candles, and CLEARLY printed on the candles' box was a price of $2.00. At the register, they rang up as $3.00. I asked the store manager to join me by going to the aisle where the candles were. She agreed the box printed $2.00, but when I asked her to honor that price, she told me, "Two dollars is what the supplier charges, but WE charge $3.00." She was NOT trying to listen or understand why it would have been fair to honor the $2.00 price. I suggested to her it would be honest if they simply changed the sign on the box to $3.00 so customers would automatically know the actual price. However, she just walked away. So, I decided not to buy two packages of the candles. Family Dollar, THIS is exactly how you lose customers!

Jermaine Jones: I don't go out to shop often, but this was egregious. I was treated very poorly; the more heavier-sized female staff member was very unprofessional. Working for someone else is privilege, not a right. Treatment of customers is the first priority of any business establishment. The demand here could be considerably higher if the employees respected themselves, each other, and the consumers. Responsibility lies with leadership, but ultimately, management should step up and start better followship. Sad and disappointed...
N C: I go here all the time because I can park close to the building so I don’t have to walk far due to having bad legs. Went there tonight 01/26/2022 at about 9 :40 ish was told they were closed but on- line says they close at 10 pm. Young girl had a very nasty attitude. I agree with all the reviews about the trash and messy isles but that don’t bother me as bad as the nasty dispositions some of workers have. It’s all about respect at the end of the day. I guess I’ll start back going to my Southwest Family Dollar.
