Ashley Davis: This place has gone down hill and is a mess. I go here because it's not far from me, but every time I walk in I think how I should of just drove farther away. Some staff is nice then you have the rude ones. Every time you walk in all the aisles are blocked off with numerous of there stock not being put away. I get they are constantly stocking but they should only pull out what they are working on at a time seeming the store is not that big. The workers will see you trying to get to products and leave the stock in front of you and not move it or help. If you want it you have to move the rollie cart out the way your self. Corporate needs to visit to see how terrible it is.

Mary Clark: This store says it opens at 8am but it actually opens whenever the associate decides, so if you need anything at 8am don't bother going to this store because you just be disappointed and have to go somewhere else. I do not recommend, if your store hours say 8am you should open at that time.

Bernard Schmitt: I got chased by a drunk from Cafe Nova down to the park near this dollar general. I ran into the store and told the staff there I was being followed. They were super helpful! Made sure I was okay, and called the police officer that was nearby. They all deserve a raise, especially the cashier in particular that called the cop stationed nearby.
Maria Driver: The staff was pretty nice but u drew the line once I saw a roach. They are extremely under stocked which may be to staffing issues. The store was junky but not the worst I've ever seen. I'm not sure what's going on there but I should not see a roach.

Karl Borgsmiller: After calling earlier in the day to confirm this location did propane exchanges, I arrived 30 minutes prior to close only to find the door locked. After knocking, an employee reluctantly opened the door and immediately said we can’t do propane exchanges. I asked why and she said because she “doesn’t know where the key is.” I asked to speak to the manager and after she told me she was the manager I followed up with if you're a manager then why don’t you know where the key is. She then asked me to leave the store. Classic case of a lazy employee trying to leave work early and not wanting to engage in a sale that would take all of 5 minutes.

Dean Quinn: Everyone here is incredibly nice, store is clean and pretty well organized. Unfortunately, I have had consistent problems with this location closing early - Not five minutes early, not ten minutes early, but often hours early. I've stopped expecting them to be open anytime after 17:00, as well as frequently opening late in the morning compared to their listed hours. I've worked for Dollar General before, and I understand that the company can be a nightmare to work for, but this isn't acceptable, especially as one of the few stores in the area that has a decent grocery selection.

I wanted to purchase a phone charger and was trying to look at the tip to make sure it was the right charger for my phone and the employee Keisha grabbed the charger out of my hand. Alonzo Harris: I went to this Dollar General around 5pm today for last minute school supplies and nothing came up the right price.Items that suppose to be 2 for $1 came up a dollar each. I got a can of kidney beans that said 60 cent rang up for $1.35instead of spending 24 bucks I spent 35 bucks. Next time I'll just goto another store. Fortunately I had enough money on me but if you went there on a budget you will be embarrassed at the register when everything come up wrong and the store know this that's why you can't see the prices while they ringing up..I call this false advertisement at its best
D. Moses: Cons - Half the freezers in the frozen food section are broke and empty. Aisles are often blocked with stock that needs to be shelved. The prices on the shelf are never accurate or reflect current price increases. The screen at the registers is off so you can't see the prices of items being rung up or your final total. The help is constantly changing. Out of date food is sometimes on the shelves. Pros - Convenient location.
Carl Lyons: They have a big habit of charging more than the listed prices for items. They've got their scanning screens turned off so you can't see the prices of any items while you're being rung up, so you have to complete payment fully before checking prices on an itemized receipt. Then they make a huge deal drawing out returns, if they don't just shrug you off completely. After dozens of trips, I've maybe had a single one where I wasn't overcharged.
Destiny Payne: Always dirty, rude and unprofessional employees and management, they have music blasting from their phones all time. The least they could do is be open during business hours

monica abbington: There are many great employees Would have given a five star but after what I witnessed and children in the store but this male employee and so called Manger was a show . I was disappointed to see employees and customers not wearing masks despite the city mandate, but this business is not at all alone in that.I didn't need anything in particular--I just happened to be in the area. This Dollar General has a lot of food selection--dry, refrigerated, and frozen, as well as energy drinks, tea, sports drinks, and soda.They also had a lot of decor, school and craft supplies, and a good-sized aisle of clearance items.

Then she kept talking about how she kicked out all the people she caught stealing in front of customers. She was loud and obnoxious. She acted like a family dollar employee. Real ghetto.

Victoria Stolte: Very disappointed with the way Myself and my children were treated this evening. Not only were we being wrongfully accused of something- when I tried to explain I was told “not to raise my voice” and couldn’t get a word in edgewise and then on top of that was told to leave the store, and wasn’t even allowed to check out. I had already been in my local dollar general shopped - waited in line to be told cash only. Traveled out of my way to still shop at dollar general only to be treated this way. I have never in my life been treated this way - my children should not have to have been subjected to that- and the “people” that were in the same aisle as we happened to go in to were the ones causing the problems - wish I wouldn’t have needed those paintbrushes and never had to walk down that aisle…

sean canter: I wouldn't waste my time going here. Hand written sign on door says closing at 5 due to staff shortage it's 4 and they are closed. Hours online says open at 8 am it's 10 am and they are closed. They are never stocked, truly a waste of time. This has happened repeatedly. This place is a block from my house, but I drive to the Orchard location if I need something. I saw a poor gentleman on a walker, in the cold going to this location, so I rushed over to him before he made it down the sloped parking lot to let him know, it was closed. I hope they close this location and put something useful in it's place.

Its usually always backed up at the register with only 1 cashier even though you know there's atleast 2 or 3 people there. You can never get someone to help you or locate anything. Usually out of the items that say in-stock on the app. Its just not a fun or even good option.

Aniya Perkins: Cashier with red braids has an attitude. All over the store signs say cash only so I asked about it to see if it was still in place and asked can I use my card and she responded with an attitude and I’m a sarcastic way as if there isn’t signs all over saying cash only . She got mad saying why wouldn’t I be able to use my card can use it anywhere .

They have changed the store hours which is normal for everyone these days but even after the hour change, they still closes early. I was there Saturday, April 11th, 2020 and I walked in and the lady stopped me and another customer at the door and told us that they wasn't taking anyone else becuz they had to clean and sanitize but other people was still in the store shopping. They had 45 minutes before the store should have been closed and don't they suppose to clean after the store is closed ? But this has always been an issue with this store. It is poorly managed and people that lives in that community depends on this store to be open for the hours posted, especially when you're on your way home from work and you wanna make a quick stop in but with the time inconsistency we have to detour and go to another store which is an inconvenience . If you're going to be closed whenever you feel like it, just close the whole store down and get the community used to going somewhere else so they won't be disappointed by your gates being prematurely closed or being rejected at the door. CLOSE IT PERMANENTLY! Back again on Saturday, June 5th,2021 at 6:55pm and guess what? The store is closed again, no consistancy here. I don't understand how their business prospered as long as it has.
