Julie Westrich: The artists here are great but I’ve been here twice and each time the way management interacting with their employees is just the most off putting. I would not want a boss to act like that toward me and this is just what I witnessed the few hours I was there each time as a customer. The manager needs to take a step back and look at how they’re speaking and acting toward other humans. I even got directed some of that energy, and I understood the reasoning behind it what she wanted, but this does not change how each time I was there the interactions I saw tarnishes my experience. Super disappointing from such a cool place.

I had my first tattooing session with Nikole a week ago, and the entire experience, from beginning to end, has been nothing short of amazing. She has been so thorough with listening to my ideas, taking time to thoughtfully draw out the design(s), and meeting with me to ensure that I am happy with the art going on my body. Nikole, along with the entire staff, have always made me feel so welcome and well-taken care of in the shop from the moment I walk in. I have always had issues with infections when having hoops in, so I love that they offer D-rings as an alternative to make it look like you're wearing a hoop without actually wearing one! Rainey Horwitz: I recently had my first tattoo experience with Kat at Arch Nemesis, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. First of all the shop is gorgeous and femme owned, a comfortable place for people of all identities to feel relaxed. From my consultation appointment, where they took great care to make sure that the drawing I created will be translated exactly as I had to drawn it (including keeping the imperfections which I loved so much, because it was ME). I love that they give clients complementary pasties for any rib cage or chest pieces. What was the most impressive thing was that she made so many stencils in so many sizes of my design, and did not force me to settle for a larger design, instead coming to a shared decision of going ultra thin line with my ability to touch up later. Imani Mann: Got a helix and naval piercing back in February . They asked to put a hoop in my helix, I rejected and asked for a stud to make healing easier. They then proceeded to put a CBR hoop in my navel without asking. It has made healing hard as it moves alot and is easy to hit. I think it was done because they are know to be hard to take out so that I would have to come back, but idk. O was able to YouTube how to take it out and replaced it with a bar and I much happier. Since my senior year of high school I swore that if my grandma’s time came before mine I would get a tattoo in her honor. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 23. I found Allysen Meriwether who works at the same shop where I got my first tattoo. Scrolling through her page, I saw a tattoo she did previously that said ‘Annette’ and in the middle of the mall I broke down because that’s my grandmother’s name. That was a sign for me. I was very particular about how I wanted the font to be and she’s AMAZING with different style fonts. Her booth is clutter free and she let my best friend sit in the back with me for moral support. She took her time to make sure the size and placement was perfect and it came out exactly how I envisioned it.Proverbs 31:25 was a scripture the pastor went in depth about during my grandmother’s funeral service a couple days prior and that really spoke to my best friend Camille so Allysen hooked her up too! I’m so happy we were able to get this done before we parted ways. This really means the world to me and it gave me the closure I needed. I actually should’ve gotten the tattoo sooner for my grandmother to see it.Before we left, Dale asked us why we got our tattoos and long story short he opened up a little bit about his past and what God has brought him through. He talked to us about the book of Matthews. You can’t talk to everyone about God. A lot of people are bashful about their relationship with him and just looking at Dale, I never would’ve thought he had a relationship with God. I’m utmost grateful for that moment. Just goes to show you don’t judge a book by its cover. You don’t know what the next person has been through. Thank you Allysen and Dale! Miss taun: Took my 6 year old to get her ears pierced. I wanted to go to a professional and avoid any mistakes. The whole process was less then 10 minutes. Thorough cleaning to ears, placement accurate and surgical like procedure placement. Afterwards cleaning instructions provided along with written instructions and business card for any follow up questions. My daughter didn't even jump. It was all over before she knew it.
