St Louis Bubble Tea: what do users think?

Williamenda McKenzie: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
LuvMsLisa: Josh had Brown sugar milk tea, Gail had Taro milk tea and I had Oreo cocoa slush and they all were delicious, both teas had the Bobo’s which are little flavored bubbles but my slush didn’t. The bobo’s are different but I didn’t have to have them. The atmosphere was great, they served food but we only came in for the drinks.Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Toppsgilby: This is not Stl Bubble Tea anymore. The name has changed and so has the food. It was nowhere near StL Bubble Tea. It is now HiTea or something of that nature.
tasnuva disha: Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Nicole Walker: My daughter really enjoyed her Boba and the pineapple strawberry slush was really good.
Cole Basham: 👍👍👍👍👍
Ashley Lumpkin: The cleanliness of this place was concerning.
Emily Baumann: White peach jasmine tea.Get it unsweetened because it's plenty sweet. Yummmm! They have a different (and much smaller) menu here than at their Creve Coeur location but there are still plenty of options.
melena hammond: i love the boba here but we literally just saw roaches back in the seating area. i don’t even want the boba anymore 🤮🤮
GnØ βØdι: My kids like the teas but the food used to be better. It's still perfectly fine. Just not as good.
Lauren Wenger: This place uses all non-dairy milks to make the bubble tea.Dietary restrictions: The tea here is dairy-free, vegetarian, vegan. Or at least I'm 80% sure it's vegan.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Christian Gin: Can only speak for the Boba being solid.
Reagan Glenn: I used to work here and the food and drinks were great, but there was mold growing in the blenders, cockroaches in the cabinets, and the manager has some serious anger issues and appeared aggressive with his wife and children several times over my employment. Hopefully changes are made, but be aware of potential health concerns
Monikki Williams: This bubble tea must be under new management. The spicy chicken Thai fried rice was horrible. The cashier had no idea what SOY sauce was...she kept giving me sweet and sour sauce. And to top it off hair was in my peach slush and I swear I didn't notice until I made it home ...yes I puked.
Dilan Herath: Boba tasted great! I had a red guava jasmine tea with boba, grass jelly, lychee jelly, and no ice. With no ice, they fill the drink to the top still!Service was ok. Cashier was whispering and no one could understand her during the time I was there.I would definitely go back here, and I recommend this place if you're in the area.Vegetarian options: Boba is vegetarian.Kid-friendliness: Family safe area.Parking: Huge parking lot out back.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level access.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian drinks.
Daveyana Harding: chicken was good but the piece was bloody on the inside and boba was excellent
Chris D. Smith: The green apple slush tasted good
Andrew Hall: The Jasmine White Peach Tea was amazing.
Lilian Dodenhoff: Ordered a wonderful frozen Taro today. Loved it. Kind staff.
Paul Hodges: My family likes boba, so we try places. This place was fun.Parking on the street can be brutal, and directions might be less clear than you hope - if using Google, try streetview to get a look before you go.My kids both got a tea that had "crystal" boba, which were basically gummies they didn't enjoy. YMMV.I got a brown sugar milk tea with traditional black tapioca pearls, and it was *perfect*. We ordered food as well, and I drank the whole tea in the minutes we waited. There is a kitchen in the back, and the wiwxasfe got some great spring rolls. We got a lovely, tasty bento box, and I noticed a *pineapple* rice I had to try. It was quite sweet, and though I liked it and ate most of that the next day, it won't be for everyone.

plain jane: I had pork neck bones and wonton soup. The pork was so tender and flavorful. The wonton soup was hot and tasty, the flavor of the soup builds as you eat it and there are herbs and spices and tiny dried shrimp added to the broth for bursts of flavor. This is not contemporary American cuisine so come with an open mind and a willingness to try new things. This is a very delicious authentic spot.
Lucas Miller: Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Elvis C.: I heard from one of my ABC friend that this is the best Chinese restaurant in town, so I decided to give it a try. Overall the quality was fine. But to be fair, we did not order many Northeastern Chinese dishes. The braised ribs was ok, not the best northeastern style I’ve had in Midwest. The maoxiewang was also just ok, I don’t like to have spam in it. I’ll probably come next time to try some more authentic dishes.
dave greenwood: Best food!!!
ethan hoppe: I love this place. The hot crispy fish is my favorite dish and something I crave. Its a small place but the food is worth the wait. Would also recommend getting some noodles and maybe the sweet and sour pork with a big group.
Kaila: The service is wonderful and I've had no issues with the food thus far (we've gone five times). I would say this menu is definitely more traditional Chinese; you won't find Mongolian beef or general Tso's chicken here. If you're looking for something a little more Americanized Chinese food, there is a noodle dish that is very tasty. I get the sizzling tofu every time and highly recommend it. The tofu is lightly battered in flour, deep fried, then presented on a hot dish with the sauce poured on top so it's sizzling. You can get the sauce with or without meat. Sometimes they won't ask you your preference and the option is not listed on the menu. It gets pretty busy, so try and get in right when they open. During peak busy hours, like dinner time on the weekend, you can expect a wait anywhere between 15-30 minutes. Not too bad.
Alfredo Jahn: One of the best Szechuan spots in the city, and St. Louis punches well above its weight when it comes to Chinese restaurants. We got the chengdu spicy chicken, bok choi, pork and bean curd, and crispy sizzling tofu. All food came out fast and hot. The bok choi here is the best I’ve ever had. Chicken was hot and crispy. The other dishes were excellent too. The portions were substantial, and the rice was fluffy, fresh, and not overcooked. My only criticism is that the chicken could have been seasoned more heavily — spicier, saltier, more ma la. Overall, superb.
Lulu Brinkley: Love this place for lunch/dinner. The only problem is that the place is fairly small so if you're caught during peak hours, you may have a pretty long wait. I personally love the lamb skewers. If you get the opportunity, try going earlier so you don't have to worry about a long wait.
June Y: 味道是还可以,这个不是猪肉炖粉条啊,和菜单图上不一样,本以为能吃到红薯粉和白菜
Felicia Lee: Causal Chinese sit down restaurant with the best authentic Chinese food in STL! Price has gone up with Covid so make sure to go with a group of friends to get the best bang for your buck! Usually get crispy hot fish, sweet and sour pork, and cumin lamb and they never disappoint!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Annie Lehrer: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5More
Jaimie Hileman: Some of the best Chinese food I've had in North America, and I've eaten in San Francisco, Manhattan, and Toronto. The southwestern Chinese Szechuan food was amazing, really classical and authentic dishes, beautifully prepared...and I mean that literally, visual aesthetics equal to the culinary! The Chengdu "dry style" chicken was superb. Don't be afraid to order if you like spicy, but not too spicy, the dried peppers are easy to moderate from serving dishes to plates. The use of the Sichuan peppercorns was a delight as well, offering a very different taste profile to capsicum heat. I also highly recommend the wonton soup, with pastry so light, the wonton almost seemed like gauze, showcasing the bone broth and delicately seasoned meat. The service was superb, with 4 servers for only about 10 four tops, and bussers too. St. Louis needs to hang on to this one. Can't wait to go back!
Theron Mills: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Audrey B: Authentic tasty Chinese food! But overpriced. Dine in or takeout both can take time.
TK KIM: It is a great place to have authentic chinese food. I liked the food because it was delicious but not too salty and sweet. For my taste, it was well balanced.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Christine Fitts-Concepcion: Love their food. Small restaurant but worth the wait.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Sweet and Sour Pork, Pork Belly over Rice, House Special Fried Noodles, Salt and Pepper Calamari, Fried Rice …More

MG VAN BEURDEN: Increase your portion sizes - disappointed by the small portions now being served here as takeaway meals to customers. Photograph taken of your small sweet and sour pork serving as proof. No vegetables, add on for rice etc. I wish I could say I had eaten half of this before posting this review and taking a picture. Nope. That’s the size you get folks. Hopefully someone reads this from your organization and says “you know what we have been cheap with our portions, let’s provide paying customers with good quality at a fair price, with fair portions”.

Kirin Pax: The shaved noodles. That's all.But also the boiled beef. But also the boba tea.Dang now I'm hungry again.
Josh McCown: Tasty food and you can watch your noodles being made in-house. Service was a little off, as one of my party's entrees arrived just after appetizers and the other about 20 minutes later.
Rishi Joshi: I was meeting a colleague for lunch at this restaurant. I didn't want to deal with parking on busy delmar street, so parked on parking lot behind Starbucks, it was 2 mins walk to the restaurant. We ordered all vegan food- vegan bau / dumplings, carrots fried dumpling, Spicy wood ear mushroom salad , Mala Soup with hand stretched noodles was amazing. Everything was awesome, we were so full that we could drink the bubble tea , but will definitely . The ambiance is very good. The service and staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked for all the dishes to be vegan - the server was very helpful.
Kendrea Virgil: 10/10 recommend. Words can't explain.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Khang Mai: I’ve been here at least 10 times, I have to say the food is pretty average. Chinese food in NYC is vastly superior. For example, a simple dish like stir fried hand pulled noodles tasted amazing in NYC, but here, it has absolute no flavor. There is no wok hei (for all of their dishes as well) and I believe it’s only flavored by oyster sauce. The noodles just taste like boiled/blanched ingredients and sauce stir fried together for a couple seconds. The noodle soup here is pretty bland as well. I wouldn’t bother with the homemade noodles here. The Dandan noodles aren’t so great either. Dandan noodles at China Bistro in the Pan Asian Market is really good in comparison to corner 17s.My favorite items are the mala stir fry (only because it’s pretty spicy), wonton soup, chili oil wonton, and their pan fried dumplings (favorite is original and the beet one). The cold chili noodles are pretty good as well. Other dishes that are tasty time to time are deep fried pork rib, sweet and sour fish, and salt n pepper shrimp. These are all fried dishes so I feel like you cant really go wrong. Some other dishes that I feel let down by are: mapo tofu and black bean pork rib. The flavor of those two dishes are just not there and I don’t like how they use the same pork rib from the noodle soup since it’s way too tender. I can say the same about many other dishes but there’s too many to talk about. The sticky rice Shumai are kind of odd and I wish they would just make normal pork/shrimp Shumai. The bao buns are ok, I just prefer Wei Hongs bao buns more for example. The chili flake oil at the table is pretty good in flavor but not too spicy. Only complaint is that they do not allow you to take it Togo (they only give the oil with out the flakes togo)The bubble tea is ok/decent, but not amazing. I feel like the quality of ingredients is somewhat lacking when considering the price point. (I run a bubble tea shop)All in all, I’ll go back sometimes, but it’s not something I crave a lot because a lot of flavor is missing.
Nicole M: went here for a lunch with a friend and was not disappointed. the staff was friendly and we got our food quickly even though they were busy. the boba was good but i think it’s price a bit high compared to other boba shops around town. would come back again though.Vegetarian options: few vegetarian options, wish they had more.
Amelia Allen: Singapore noodles was my favorite thing from everything we sampled. The dumplings are also phenomenal. AuthenticVegetarian options: Options for all restrictionsDietary restrictions: Gluten free, dairy feee, vegan, vegetarian options

Bryan Prosise: My favorite boba stop in town.I recommend dining in to enjoy a Hot Pot with a friend or two.
Aja Brown: THE BEST ASIAN FOON IN STL. BAR NONE. It's a bit pricy, and their plates only come with 1 crab Rangoon, but it is worth every penny
Sheila Taylor: This place is nothing but a high price Chop suey, go to the other Chinese places for food its a 3rd of the price. $13 for some bland rice.
Anthony Coffin: Salt and pepper tofu and spicy green bean are always outstanding. Pleasant and prompt service, I love this place.
Ivana Maodus: Wish I read some of the reviews before purchasing bubble tea here. It was not green and did not taste like green tea. I have had green milk tea many times from many different places and you can’t lie to me saying “noo it is green milk tea just not the same color when you mix it with milk” when I say that’s not what I ordered. This bubble tea was also blended in a very dirty blender and I regretted ever coming here.
Michael Cooper: Food was just ok, and VERY slow. Not going again.
Simon Huang: Nondescript restaurant serving a mix of authentic and commercial Chinese dishes along w bubble tea.Singapore noodles, mala combinations and esp the potato, pepper and eggplant combo were all good.Street parking is limited but garage available next door.
