Teresa Wheeler: The staff called in advance to inform us of the delivery window and the delivery was within that time frame. The long-time Forshaw's employee was knowledgeable and friendly. The summer college student assisting him was very mannerly, well-spoken and enthusiastic about his employment with Forshaw's. The delivery team was pleasant and accommodating in setting up our patio table and chairs, adjusting the table and chair legs for balance. Forshaw's can be proud of this team!

William Shirley (Bill): Was interested in fireplace inserts and thought we would try Forshaw. Met sales rep Emily - very knowledgeable. Informed us of a lot of the intricacies of inserts. After thinking about it (they're not inexpensive) and after visiting two other stores, we decided on Forshaw. First, an estimator comes to spec out your situation. After down-payment (fall 2022), installation is then scheduled for 4-6 weeks out. On installation day, we had a crew of three arrive at about 7:30 AM to install 2 inserts. Job was completed at little past noon with comparatively little dust. We were fortunate in that utilities (gas/electric) could be run in the garage or through the ashdump so as to create and uncluttered appearance. Each insert has its own dedicated (paired) remote control.

I highly recommend this company and these servicemen in particular.

Robert Anderson: If I could rate this company a -5 star I would. I’m hoping the owner of this business calls me to remedy my concern. I’m not going to float the laundry, just know these are not the best of people, and there are many many other furniture stores in the area that deserve the business, and will actually cater to your needs and concerns. I should have never given them a shot considering the amount of reviews in comparison to others in the area. This will be the last time I make this mistake.
Christopher Saul: I have been eyeing and researching the Herman Miller Embody chair for many months; with many online options and the high price tag, I felt uncomfortable taking my chances online. However, it’s not the chair you can pick up at your local Office Depot. Centro Modern Furnishings is one of the few local locations that carry Herman Miller chairs, so I decided to stop by and try it out. When I arrived, I received a warm welcome from Ginny, who was very welcoming and knowledgeable, walked me through all the Embody options, and gave me a great tutorial on the chair. I'm very happy with my customized chair and the experience. My special order arrived ahead of schedule, they quality checked it and assisted me with loading it into my vehicle. I highly recommend Centro Modern Furnishings for anyone considering a new Herman Miller office chair. Way better experience than ordering online, great price too! Very cool store and lots of interesting pieces!

Corey Diehl: I meant to write this review a few months ago. Centro Modern Furnishings service and support was absolutely phenomenal! I found them when looking for a Herman Miller office chair while working from home, and they were incredibly helpful explaining the different features and sizing of the chairs, and even let me know of an upcoming seasonal sale so I could wait for better pricing.Something to be aware of, even though they are a licensed Herman Miller furniture dealer, Herman Miller themselves do not extend their 30 day return policy to chairs sold via a dealer, and only on chairs purchased directly through Herman Miller themselves online. While Centro was able to offer better pricing than buying direct, and the chair is still covered under HM's 12 year warrantee, this is something to consider if you aren't 100% ready to buy.Despite this, if you are ready to buy, they offer very competitive pricing on new Herman Miller office furniture, and they have a wonderful showroom if you are looking to test sit the various Herman Miller chairs. I can't recommend them highly enough for going above and beyond!

We were recent first-time customers at Centro and Ginny, Steve, and Todd were so incredibly helpful in finding us exactly what we wanted. Our ordering process took some time, as we were hoping to get a piece custom-upholstered in a discontinued fabric. That said, the folks at Centro had us ready to go with multiple backup options in case it didn't work out. They took care of everything with the manufacturer, kept us updated throughout, and our gorgeous ottoman came in last week!Our experience with Centro was excellent and I highly recommend their beautiful store.

When we went to pick them up, they were already put together for us, packaging left on them carefully to ensure safe transport, and placed in our car for us. We had an excellent experience with Centro, and cannot recommend them enough. We love shopping local, and are so thrilled to have found this wonderful store.

Steven Bott: It's party time, so it is time to shop and stock up at Crate and Barrel.I'm hosting a St. Patrick's Day party at my house, after we've all gone out and gotten our feed on with Corned Beef and Cabbage. We're going to be playing a variety of board games and enjoying plenty of adult beverages.I have almost everything you'd need to entertain, but I can still add to my collection. Typically, I am an eclectic type person, but for some strange reason for this party, I want everything to match. So off to, Crate and Barrel, to buy new and additional glassware.The prices on their glassware in my opinion are fair. This have a wide range of price points, so you can easily find something within your budget. I'm serving a Jameson Manhattan, so I bought some new stemmed cocktail glasses. We'll also, be doing Irish beer tastings, so I had to have those cute little tasting glasses.Some consider C&B to be an upscale and overpriced retailer, but smart shoppers know how to find quality at a good price. As the old saying goes, "You get what you pay for." Crate and Barrel will definitely give you more bang for your buck.The customer service here is always, top notch. However, for me it is kinda scary. I'm such a regular, most of the long term employees know me.

Mary Rekart: I had a Christmas gift order (ordered end of November)shipped to the store and it arrived at three different times (not ideal but not an issue). The third trip, after receiving an email to pickup, was not there. I waited 15 minutes (not an issue) and an employee came out and said they couldn’t find it and he said he would reorder it. He stated it might get there in time for Christmas (7 days away) but it might be the week after. I understood and said that was fine. When I got home and looked at my email, the new order stated estimated arrival MID FEBRUARY! An issue. I called the Brentwood store and asked to speak to a manager. I did not get her name. But I very nicely started to explain what had happened and she in erupted me and said, “Can I have your order number because if this is an online order, I can’t help you.” Awesome. :( I gave her the number, she put me on hold and came back and said, “This is an online order but what is your question?” I continue to tell her how I had made multiple trips, how her sales person had told me the order would be there in a week or two and how I was upset that the order was now arriving in February. Her answer was literally “I can’t help you.” Not “I’m so sorry that happened to you.” Not, “Let me see if there’s anything I can do.” Not, “Let me give you the phone number of the online Customer Service.” I told her I was upset and she said she didn’t know what I wanted, there was nothing she could do. So I asked her if there was an online customer service and she said yes and said I could call the 800 number. She did not offer the number.I’m not sure who this manager that was there the Saturday before Christmas was, but she is a horrible customer service person whose only accomplishments that day was making me sorry I didn’t order dishes from Pottery Barn. You just lost a customer Crate and Barrel of Brentwood

The customer representative was great on the phone. The delivery team was great. The problems We have is they deliveried broken beds to us three times despite the customer representative on the phone told us that they will inspect by an regional warehouse inspector before goes out for delivery twice. The third time delivery is today, it was a lemon one also. We ended up have them take everything away and requestrd for a full refund. We ordered the same bed for my mother, which will be delivered in June. We can't not wait go though the same problem again! I really have a second thought on buying furnitures from them. We got some small furnitures from them with the same order. They are fine, except the bed. The bed is not a cheap bed we ordered! We are experiencing great customer service, but poor product delivery! We are not sure if we will buy from them again!

Michael Betz: Crate and Barrell should be ashamed of themselves. We purchased the $1000 Tate Bar Cabinet. After waiting months it arrived this week. The delivery guys showed me all sorts of scratches but said we should keep while and ask Crate and Barrell to replace. I keep looking and discover numerous cheap "metal" hinges that are broken and screws falling out.We tried calling customer service but they won't talk to us they want to do everything over email so they can provide robotic responses. Then they state they don't carry the color we ordered anymore. They'll replace with a different color that doesn't match any of our furniture or give us a pathetic $100 off. This thing is totally broken. What a joke. I looked at their website and low and behold tons of reviews with the same complaints. I tried to review.and the refused to post it. What a joke. It's ashamed because we used to shop here all the time. Spend the extra money and go to Pottery Barn or such. Or save your money and go to an el-cheapo type store. Either way the product and customer service will be better.

The re is no communication from the store that my order is delayed.3. The order finally arrived in Jan . Then I scheduled the delivery on Jan 8th. However, I waited at him from 11 am to 6 pm, their driver never showed up. 4. I rescheduled the delivery tomorrow on Jan 22nd. Guess what the store said the table is damaged and I won't receive it till next week.I have ordered furniture from other stores. Article, Lumens and even wayfair provides much better service.

There’s always something new that wasn’t there before, and I can easily get lost picking through a stall trying to find something special. Some antique malls can be full of junk, but there’s definitely more curated deposits of oddities and Knick-knacks than random junk.

One thing I can't stand is broken items, if there broken why would people buy it, unaccepratice for any Antique store. Prices very from moderate to high for treasures. People could be a little more warm and welcome customers.
Bri Loftus: This place has some good vendors with decent prices. However, I am very unhappy with my recent experience here. I bought two items for $21, I give the employee my card, he runs it, then has me go sign for it. The total was actually $621. He wasn’t paying attention and ran my debit card for $600 more than the price was. If I wasn’t paying attention to what I was signing, they would’ve gotten away with overcharging me by $600. They did refund my card, but all I got was a sorry and a shrug as if it happens all the time. I’m very lucky that I had more than enough money in my account to cover it, otherwise it could’ve been a lot worse for me. However, now I have to wait to have access to money I didn’t plan to not have access to. A couple bucks would’ve been fine, but $600 is absolutely unacceptable. I can’t help but think about how this situation could’ve really affected someone who couldn’t afford to lose $600 due to someone not paying attention. This was only my 2nd time in here, so if I ever come back I will be sure to look at their computer before my card is charged and you should also do the same.

07slowbalt: Originally loved this place, then i was sad to hear they are going out of business. After months of their ads on tv i decided to hop in and see if any deals could be found. All they did was ridiculously OVER price their items and then claim they can drop about 2k off certain couches. The cheapest sectional ran about $4500 with leather options near $10,000! GTFO. At these prices they will never sell out.
Samantha Ernsky: Merchandise is grossly overpriced and then “marked down” to an undisclosed number. The sales associates are like vultures and it’s difficult to shop around the store without being harassed about whatever you happen to briefly look at. I made half a loop through the store and practically ran back out after only a few minutes.

Paul Lashley: The woman I spoke to basically told me they didn't want my business because I am disabled. I just wanted to buy to buy the cheapest sofa they had and have it delivered because it is so hard for me to get out the lady said that they could not do that I would have to come into the store keep in mind this sofa is for someone that is 81 years old anyway I understand we're not buying a whole room full of furniture so we're not important enough for you to to be bothered with only one sofa. I'm sure there is a company that would be glad to send a sofa over and collect the money. I'll call someone else
