Rome Stone: Over $100 dollars for a emissions/safety inspection is robbery plain and simple. Make it so bad you can only get them on Saturdays which is something they should tell you somehow before you waste your time. Since you don’t have a website post it on the building somewhere. You can go almost anywhere and get both for $36.

Haicheng Zhao: My car had only a very minor issue (which I figured out in another auto center): The screw of the battery was loose, which was the cause of my car problem (no start). But as I visited them first they came up with a theory and told me that I had to change a crucial part of my car, and they asked nearly 1 thousand bucks for that! Either they are dishonest or inexperienced.

Annina Christensen: The experience was great! This was the only shop who could guarantee they'd be able to work on my car on Monday and they were finished way before I thought they would be done! They were also one of a few shops who would even give me an estimate over the phone and the actual price was only 60 cents over their estimate! My brother is a mechanic (he wasn't in town when this happened) and he looked at their fix (they fixed rusted brake lines) and said it was better than he could've done! Great place!
Taylor Bryant: The only reason I used this below-average looking repair shop to begin with is because of convenience, as the building is right next to my apartment. I was told that they charge a flat rate of $90 for labor/hour, and even if the process only took 15 minutes I would be charged the $90. It was a simple installation of a part WHICH I PROVIDED TO THEM, and they said they would only allow me to pay cash for this transaction because "they get screwed over with credit card fees." A few weeks later a friend went to the same place to get her tail light replaced, for which she was charged only $17.50 (of which $12.50 was charged to labor expense, despite the supposed $90 cost) AND allowed to pay with a credit card. Obviously, they just wanted to make a quick $90 off of me without putting it on their books, which is why they required that I pay cash. They take advantage of their customers, and in my case they flat out lied to me. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this place, as they are dishonest and unethical.
Nathaniel Dell: Staff is always approachable and respectful. They've consistently been thorough when diagnosing an issue with my vehicle, and get the job done quickly. Have had electrical issues repaired, engine misfires, brake work performed there for a few different vehicles.
Michael Martin: I had an alternator/battery light come on and I work near Nuelle's so I ran by there to have them check it out, Jeff was quick and competent, diagnosed the issue (marginal battery, it's at the end of its life), and resolved my problem very quickly! Excellent service.

Tiara Martin: Friend of mine brought her car in on Saturday n they are negligent and lazy. Refusing to take responsibility for the stuff They ruined on her car ! Ryan the manager was rude on the phone and refused to take responsibility . He wouldn’t let her talk at all and got her confused with another customer !She is now talking to lawyers because no one will answer her even though she contacted corporate ! She had to get her car towed back down there (on their dime of course bcuz she already paid over $140 to get it towed home after her car broke down after leaving this shop) and no one has updated her if her car even made it down there ! Horrible communication , horrible staff , lazy mechanics. I bet once she sues them then they’ll take her serious !
Woody Stemms: Have used this location in the past for brake work. It was OK - nothing special. However, a few weeks ago, the original alternator on a Toyota Highlander needed to be replaced. The price that was quoted was more than $800. The fellow indicated that the next day he could "work with me". Since the battery had just been replaced, I took a chance and drove for another day, then took it to a local independent shop. Had to leave it for two days, but the bill was $430. It was no mistake. Alternator took Midas about 4 of them to get that right even though i came for the battery light that is still on a yr later!!! Valve gasket cover had to be replaced after Midas already replaced it .. oil drip pan had to be replaced after Midas fixed it.. last visit I was told Midas wanted to look at power steering pump that Midas replaced b/c it could possibly be leaking... got brakes few weeks ago I am still hearing a noise from my tire i drive 45 mins each way to & from work 5 days a week. Midas tell me how long am I going to hear this noise until I take it to another repair shop???? Right now I need an oil change but I refuse to let those horrible mechanics touch my car !!! kevin mahoney: I noticed a metallic rattle coming from underneath my car. A buddy said to try Midas on South Kingshighway. On Monday I made an appointment for Tuesday morning at 9:30am. I could see the sheetmetal and where it used to be attached. I dropped my car off and took a walk on Kingshighway. I was walking no more than about 15 minutes when the mechanic called. He said it didn’t take long to reattach the heat shield. No charge, just let google know. What great service! The annoying rattle is gone. The office staff was efficient. I am one happy customer.

I called my best friend who works for a car dealership software company, to ask how badly I was getting screwed. She called up one of the more higher end dealerships to run an estimate and they said $550. She drove up to help me renegotiate (she's much more well-spoken than me). I'm paraphrasing.My friend: 'we both know this repair doesn't cost this'.Manager: 'What part of the itemized receipt do you not agree with?"Friend: "Well for starters this Life+SVC guarantee... What is that?" [Was an estimated cost of $100-$200]Manager: "I can get that taken off..."Friend: "okay that's a start"Manager: "okay I can't do at a dealership cost but I can do..." *Writes $750 on the estimate and circles it so the other people in the waiting room don't hear* ".... Is that okay?"I agreed to that price even though I knew it was overpriced but at that point I've been at this place for 4+ hours.Service was fine. The workers were kind too. I left feeling very swindled and I let everyone in the waiting room know the price I talked them down to before I left. I don't want to accuse but it felt very much like they were taking advantage of my gender and age.

I had to Lyft home and back to get my spare for them to finish my car. The manager noted (and on my bill) that they would replace it but they are never around so no one has been able to help when I came back in and they have not returned calls.
