skmb4x4: i love this place and the field. ive been off and on airsofting through out a good portion of my years. not only are the fields here amazing but the whole community and staff is as well. the community and staff has been extremely helpfull and super chill throughout my time of playing and shopping threw here. the bing shop store is great and with very fair pricing. 100% have to give a shoutout too shop worker named nathan, he has been extremely helpful and super chill throughout my road to ugrading to hpa and getting back into it. he has been such a great help to me and has an answer for every quesion i ask. 100% would recommend to anyone gettin into airsoft to go here and get stuff through the shop. once again though nathan has been an absolute W worker and a great help for me getting back into airsoft. i appreciate all of the staff, 5 stars all day without a doubt
Shannon Bellemare: Staff for skate equipment not prepared to help. Knowing what I wanted to buy, dude couldn't even point out decks that were clearly labeled. When asked about decks out of reach he walked away to the airsoft side of the store and hid. Took my $ elsewhere. First time and last time for me.

Jeremy Herrin: Me and my sons bought 4 brand new guns here. They sold me the wrong battery to the gun that I bought about in wouldn't shoot correctly. I took it back to have some custom work done on it they told me it would be 2 weeks. I'm going on week 5 and nobody knows nothing when I call. I live an hour and a 1/2 away, I'm going to have to go there and just get my stuff and be done with them. Just got done talking to taco that works there . I couldn't even get him to tell me if the gun was done or not told me to call back another day
matthew jackson: This is a great shop to buy airsoft guns and supplies! I would highly recommend going. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I walked in not knowing a lot about airsoft guns and they were able to answer all of my questions. They also did a great job of helping me find a great gun that fit into my budget. They did not try to upsell me to getting a more expensive gun. After I got the gun they took the time to show me all the accessories I would also need to buy. It is really nice that they let you hold the guns before you buy one. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I felt like it was a little too expensive. I would’ve appreciated it if they gave you some kind a discount if you bought the gun and all the accessories from them. That is my only recommendation for the future.

As soon as I walked in I was asked if I was looking for anything specific, and after talking for a few minutes I got my personal rifle and the employee said that these models were known to malfunction (great advice, because, yes they were very low quality) and recommended me a few and I ended up getting a completely different rifle (which I am happy he had told me). Not sure what sort of gear is good, but there was a wall and racks full of clothing and tactical vests and mock helmets, this store has pretty much everything a occasional Airsoft player needs!

Bob H: I was there on 9/14 at 11:25am. Several employees throughout the store offered help as I shopped- very nice! When I got up to check out at the registers, there was one register open, and the gentleman behind it was having some sort of issues waiting on a lady. Our line grew to five people, at which time the cashier went and found someone to come up and deal with the issue. After waiting about three minutes, with no other cashiers in sight, I left my items on the counter, and left the store. I don’t get it. Lots of employees, but only one cashier. I’m sure I will not return to that store.

Joseph Novel: Decent selection and good used prices but customer service is nil. Literally spent thousands somewhere else over the last few months because I couldn’t get anyone to look at me let alone help me. Never been asked once if I needed help and when I have asked got a attitude. Not really sure what makes people who work here have such a attitude but it has been that way all the way around. Could be a great place if they trained there employees to have a bit of customer service and a little bit of a positive attitude. I would like to amend my review by saying that I stopped in again a few Christmas 2022 and was helped by two different individuals that where very helpful and made a few purchases there since. Hope it keeps being the same experience as my last few. Check them out.

Dirty Steve Livin Free: Went to look at some new stock. Nobody even acknowledged I was even in the store. There were only 3 other customers. So I grabbed some ammo and went to check out. As I stood there for an extended amount of time. The employees were too busy looking up Cardinal stats on the computer to help me. And when they were finished, one employee looked at me waiting to check out and walked right past me and out to the showroom. Worst customer service I have ever witnessed. 100% will NEVER return! Kevin Koch: Always friendly, knowledgeable and a great selection. Truly the best paintball pro shop in the Greater St. Louis area.Playing airsoft? The selection and service is just as good for you here as it is for paintball players. If they don't have what you need or are looking for in stock right then, they will get it as soon as possible. Not sure what you need, talk with them for a bit and they will make recommendations based off your needs and quality of the product. I have seen them talk someone out of buying a specific item and recommended an alternative that was about 2/3rds the price of what they were looking to get. The reasons given were easier maintenance of the item, and the original item being looked at had a higher rate of needing repair.This shop is looking to get you out playing and enjoying yourself, not to make the most profit off you. Their knowledge and quality of service is what keeps customers coming back.
Jacob Beckett: Although the store is small and managed by few, the people who run it REALLY know their stuff, and helped me out with so many purchases! They also informed me about the Monte Cassino event that's hosted here in the Midwest, and I had SO much fun at that game last year! Definitely give these guys a try if you live nearby because there most definitely is a benefit to doing in-person shopping for paintball or airsoft, and that's undeniable.

He doesnt overadvertise the weapons like ive seen other shops do. And, omg, his prices are among the lowest. He's amazing. He's HPAing my aeg KWA VM4, for only the cost of the parts, and he said he'll get it done in two days, no labor fee. If you want the most solid customer service and the best prices, come to PAINTBALL OUTFITTERS. Period.

Terence White: The absolute worst gun store I’ve ever been too, the first time I went in I explained to them that I have a older 38 special and can’t use plus p ammo, the guy at the register acted like I was speaking French and kept pushing the box on me saying “well it’s still self defense ammo”. The second time I went in which was 4/22 I went into the store to after finishing some tax stamp forms for silencer shop which the website stated they had a kiosk to complete my fingerprints, when I got there (5 mins after opening) I was given several excuses on why they wouldn’t help me. The first was that they are an Elite dealer and they would have to double check my paperwork (I said that’s fine), then he said well we also charge $50 to check on top of the silencer shop fee be cause they are charged to use the machine (I said that’s fine also), then he told me that it’s too much of a hassle and takes a lot of there time to do so they didn’t want to (I was the only person in the store with two workers that I could visually see. After all of this he tell me to go down the road to another gun shop where they “might” be able to help me. I feel like I was treated that way because the color of my skin and the fact that I look young ( mid 30’s ). I will never go in this store again in my life, and would recommend anyone who values their self worth to not do business with them.
Bryan Jameson: WARNING! DON'T TAKE YOUR GUNS HERE!!! I dropped off a family heirloom 1950's S&W revolver here this week. The gunsmiths brilliant "diagnosis"was that somebody modified my revolver to be a single action instead of a double action and that was part of my jamming problem. That makes literally no sense. I've been using it as a double action forever and so has my dad since he was a child. In addition he also wore off a lot of the Bluing on both sides of the barrel and below the cylinder. Not sure if he used a harsh clamp or what. Pictures attached. Worst 45 dollars I've ever spent. Go somewhere else, Jess doesn't know what he's doing. Update. I went to c&S metal works and they got my gun working like new. All it needed was a new trigger and a new hand. If Jess can't figure out something so simple he doesn't deserve to be called a gunsmith. Seriously don't bring this guy your firearms. I now have to get the bluing touched up because of him

Peter Kister: Razorbacks return and service policies are unreasonable for medium sized business. It's private party guarantees with big store prices. I had a pistol with a failure to cycle issue. I believe I found the issue. I took it to them to confirm. They took it back, told me it was what I said it was, and still charged me for 2 min of their time. I've done the exact same thing to other stores and not charged a dime. I was insulted when they were happy to help only until I handed it over. Had they told me there was a charge for their experience or 2min of their time, I would have refused and walked out. Simply unreasonable and predatory business policies aren't conducive to maintaining a positive reputation.

I doubt that it actually was but I just paid it and left. I will never shop here again and warn against anyone looking to spend money here.

I would never take anything to these place or recommend them I'm a small business man and I don't treat my customers this way at all I try to help them in anyway I can.

Tom Venegoni: I brought them my Benelli M1 semi auto shotgun to be cleaned. There are too many moving parts for me to clean it. I also had some periodic cycling problems.Jess broke it down and discovered that the previous owner used a highly toxic round ( dragon breath ) which caused damage to the inside of the chamber and rear of the barrel.Jess used a tool to hone out and restore the damaged areas back to the best he could get it. He also adjusted the spring and made a couple of other adjustments. The cost of the original cleaning was $70. He only charged me $80 for the entire job. They were also friendly and seem to be solid guys. I’d would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

When it went on sale, as a Labor Day Special, they were flying off the shelves and I couldn't find one within a 100 mile radius. I happened to call and check at the store closest to me. Steve's team just had two delivered. There were several complications which made it not an easy process (it was kind of unbelievable and comical, in fact) but they still made sure I got one. I used up a lot of their time yet they were so accommodating and nice! They even loaded that heavy thing up in my car for me and wouldn't even accept my offer to buy them lunch. Ok cool so I’m looking at AR’s and the guy helping me is talking to me like he doesn’t want me there. Very brash and dismissive. So we move to the pistols and I’m really interested in this particular firearm. I’m holding it and I’m really digging it (M&P 2.0 9mm MOS with a ported barrel by the way lol). I ask him about the trigger type because it’s covered and I can’t see it. As I’m giving him the firearm back (because he’s trying to see the type of trigger) I say, “I’m really interested in this one.” He then puts the pistol back in the case and I say again because maybe he didn’t hear me, “I’m really interested in this one.” He then closes the case, stands there and looks at me.So after the awkward silence, I say, “well sir, have a good day.” And I leave the store.Here’s the point:I’m not saying don’t shop there because of this one dude. I am saying that I doesn’t matter how your day is going, if you are in customer service you must treat each customer like they are the most important person in the room.(I’ve been in customer service since 2008, I know what’s up)Look I know the typical clientele that shops there and I know the predominant color of skin of the employees who work there, especially in the hunting department but I don’t just automatically use the racist card until its blatant.Cabela's just please treat every customer with the utmost attention and respect.✌🏾

Steve Sears: This review is a long time coming. I first met Frank at a gun show and bought a 223 pistol from him. The gun is perfect and shot 1000s of rounds with zero problems. Since then, I have bought 2 other riffles, a 223 and a 300 blackout. Again, perfect guns and the process of purchasing was a pleasure. I did have one problem with the 300 blackout trigger....took it in and they actually upgraded the part for free. These guns, the store, the workers, the whole package is spectacular. I am going tomorrow to buy another and can not wait.
Luke Jackson: Poor selection for anything besides ar and Glock platforms. Poor customer service and do not know how to do their jobs. If you are from out of state stay far away from this place they will give you the run around. Only positive is $30 transfer fees however it’s worth the extra $10 to not have to deal with them.

Karma’s Countdown: Some gun shop staff and owners have looked at, and treated me as if they don’t want me in there store to spend “my money”. Staff @ Cabelas in Hazelwood,MO didn’t even acknowledge me at the gun counter for a long period of time, even skipped over me. Maybe it was the color I wore that day, who knows. Anyway, NOT THE GUYS AT KIRKWOOD OUTFITTERS!!!! Down to earth guys every single time I’ve been there. Each time I made a purchase of a firearm or ammo, it was during a shortage/panic buy of each item. All stores I visited in Missouri and online were SOLD OUT. Kirkwood Outfitters had each item every single time (4+ visits)!!!!! Good attitude towards customers no matter what they look like, and always in stock. They will be my 1st option from here on out. FIVE STAR establishment.

Greg Gomoluch: I just moved to Missouri about 3 months ago and I ran into some very nice people that suggested I try Kirkwood Outfitters in Des Peres. I went in with expectations of introducing myself for when the time comes that I will buy a gun. The two guys working there, Dave and Kevin, made just the intro experience so pleasing that I purchased 2 guns. They are both very knowledgeable about firearms. Dave is the owner and he bent over backwards to get me a shockingly outstanding deal. Kevin might be the only reason I may not go back. Not because he did anything wrong at all, but my wife made the comment "You know if we weren't married, he (Kevin) would make me spend a lot more time up here". Now I have that to deal with. ha ha Kidding. The overall experience was one that you would expect to see in a commercial or something. Outstanding guys! You have a new permanent customer!!!

Josh Leap: This wouldn't be my gunstore of choice when recommending places to get guns for new shooters. Some of the staff seem to look upon the uninitiated population with scorn and derisiveness. I understand it somewhat, I'm sure all the people coming in, asking what gun they should buy, then leaving after wasting an hour of your time wears on the soul.Prices all seem to be MSRP+, but if you know what things are supposed to cost you can generally talk the sales staff down. It's sort of a hassle though, again I think it's designed as a way to harvest more money from the uninformed. Sometimes good deals are to be found, last time I bought 22LR ammo there, their prices were the best that I've found not-ordering-online. Some of their magazines are 2-3x too expensive however. It's a crapshoot.
