Elias Twitchell: I have been very pleased with the dance lessons and socials. I am brand new to swing dance but even just the basics are fun. Plenty of spinning, slow and fast dancing and lots more to learn.Everyone's been friendly and the group is inviting. Olivia Stockman: Great beginning swing (Lindy) class series!The instructors - Christina and Josh - are amazing dancers but more importantly, they're effective in their teaching technique. The pace of advancement has been perfect over the course of the class - we've covered a lot of ground but not to the point of being overwhelmed or frustrating. I plan to keep taking classes from STL Swing.

I have never seen this much talent gathered under one organization to teach here.I just had my first post-pandemic lesson from them, was blown away. If you want to learn Swing in St. Louis (and actually, yaknow, use it at real dances) these are the people to learn it from.These are people who have invested heavily in this dance over many, many years. Chris Diamond: St. Louis Academy of Dance is a great studio for both children and adults. Miss Kacy, Miss Emily, and the rest of the staff at SLAD are incredible! Their focus is on proper dance technique, not competitions, which we greatly appreciate. Always professional!
Heather Kroeger: All three of my daughters are students at SLAD. They have each improved their self confidence, poise, and sense of commitment through dance, and it's been wonderful to watch each of them develop different skills through learning the multiple disciplines offered at SLAD. The instruction, facility, and quality of choreography is unprecedented in the city of St. Louis. Kacy Voscuil, the artistic director, runs a world class operation which our family is so grateful to be affiliated with. You cannot beat the location, and the facility has just been remodeled and expanded making it easy to find the right classes for your child to fit in his or her busy schedule. SLAD clearly has an outstanding reputation in the community of professional dancing as evidenced by having procured a pretty impressive team of choreographers for the 2014-2015 season. We are all excited to see this business grow and flourish!

Karen de Foy: My daughters have been dancing here for years, and I can't say enough good things about this studio. Its culture is very different from other studios, in that it provides high-level dance instruction in an atmosphere that's supportive and collaborative rather than competitive. (The most committed dancers perform at nursing homes rather than at competitions.) My girls have really thrived here, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Shelby Cowley: This is an amazing studio. My four year old just finished her first season of tap/ballet and LOVED it! They make each girl feel special and spend a lot of time helping them learn the basics. We will definitely be back next season. A very special place!

Alec Shea: I have been dancing at MEX (abbreviated version of Motion Express) since I was a child. I graduated a couple of years ago and have since moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a career in Acting and Performance. The teachers at Motion Express truly care for/about their students, and really take everything they do to heart. As always, you will only get out of life what you put into it; the same goes for MEX. You are given the tools and choreography to succeed and be an award winning dancer at competitions, but only if you work hard and practice the choreography you are given! I myself have danced at competitions and won my fair share of awards with my friends, all while having fun traveling the US for the National Competitions every year. I have even taught a few dance classes myself at MEX. It really is quite remarkable when you have teachers who actually care; and when joined with dancers who also care just as much, one can truly make sparks fly and wow the audience and judges!! In conclusion, MEX has been and still is a huge part of my life, I truly loved my time there and still relish the chance when I can go back and see all the old faces, and the new!💙 Love you MEX family! 💛

We are a 50 something couple and were shy about dancing at a friend’s upcoming wedding so we decided to take lessons as an anniversary gift to ourselves. Julie Kalman: Asha Prem is an amazing teacher, choreographer, and dancer. She has taught Indian dance at Washington University in St. Louis for many years. Asha is a wonderful woman and has been a great role model for many people including myself. Asha's company, Dances of India, produces excellent performances; they are truly exceptional.
Betsy Bussmann: I have attended many of these shows over the years and still feel awestruck by the beauty and quality of the performance. It is always a pleasure to watch artists that have spent years mastering their craft. Even the younger dancers execute the intricate choreography with ease. The brilliant colors of the costumes and hypnotic quality of the music add to the spellbinding effect of the dances. But what sets this show apart is the power and purity of intention the dancers exude. Their goodness and joy is fierce and contagious. I always leave feeling like my soul has just been polished. Dances of India is a love letter to the universe! Don't miss it!

Courtney Menard: I had my daughters birthday party here last year and it was a hit... Until I never received my photobooth pictures even after numerous calls to Taylor. She kept telling me she would send them then never did. Now I believe it's a different Taylor doing it now. But still paying for something you never receive is a bummer.
Jackie Miller: I had my daughter's birthday party here because their website said they offer a glow in the dark themed party and when I called I was informed that the website was out dated and they had a new coordinator who didn't have the equipment to offer a glow theme. I decided to do it anyway and provide my own lights and equipment. I asked my party planner Taylor if I couldn't be compensated by receiving the obstacle course room with the tumble ball for free instead of $40. She said the owner Kelly was NOT willing to offer ANY discounts or compensation for my inconvenience. I think it's bad for business to not stand by your website and meet your customer half way and give SOMETHING for the inconvenience. I was then charged $40 for going over time. EVEN AFTER THEY PROVIDED NOTHING BUT PLAY MATS. Lol

jill sean: I was born in 1984 started dancing with Denoyer dance in kindergarten this place was my second home and family Mrs D was like a mentor and a grandma to all of us . I can't stress how wonderful this studio is I miss it so much and I know Mrs D is smiling down at all of us with pride I'm glad the new owner kept the studio the same name. Dance is music to the eye and I still watch my recital tapes and plan on getting my son into hip hop and other classes.

So confused here. I wasn't refunded the correct amount and nowhere near the amount of hundreds I was charged so I had to have my bank refund me. No thanks...
Tammy Meyer: DeNoyer has been our 2nd home for 2 seasons now. My son has taken tap and (mostly) hip hop. The teachers are patient and work wonderfully with the kids. Doug, the owner is always prompt with his responses and is always willing to work with the families. He is also open to suggestions and listens to concerns. It is located in South County and there is a male teacher for the Hip Hop class. I have looked at others and the teachers are female. Although I am quite sure they are good I think my son responds better to a male. Classes are reasonably priced and lots of different time slots for your convenience. There are 80 classes at this time so I am sure everyone can find a class that their child will love.

I had already set my table up-had to pack everything up and went home, frustrated, humiliated.I had forgotten all about it until I checked my bank account online and what do I see. They had the blatant audacity to CASH MY CHECK-that they said they did not have. The back is stamped Denoyer Dance Studio deposit only. Please tell me how are you going to take my money when I did not even participate. I have called and still I do not have my money back. Racist -I am so livid I do not have the proper words right now. Get my money back to me ASAP.
