Dawn O'Neall: I recently visited Advanced Auto Parts at their 3510 Gravois store and had an outstanding experience. I needed to replace my car battery, but other stores in the area had turned me away. However, Gregory Page, the manager at this store, went above and beyond to ensure that I received the service I needed.When I called, Gregory quickly checked the stock availability of the battery over the phone, which was a great help. He confirmed that it was in stock and I brought my car in for the replacement. Gregory changed the battery quickly and with a positive attitude, even though he was the only employee available at the time.I was thoroughly impressed with Gregory's exceptional customer service skills and professionalism. He made the experience memorable and exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend the Advanced Auto Parts store at 3510 Gravois for anyone in need of automotive supplies or services.Overall, the store has a great selection of automotive parts and accessories, and their staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Take The 5th: UNPROFESSIONAL security. This location is already in an area that can be pretty sketchy. Open air drug sales are common to see at both gas station across the street and in advance parking lot as well. Advanced security seems to have no interest in deterring any of the “business” happening on their lot. A group of people none of whom I saw ever enter the store or working on a car, seem to be free to gather with random cars pulling up and away every few mins. Can not recommend anyone concerned with their safety or their possessions to visit this store. Especially anytime from noon until they close.

Antoinette Curtis: Usually I don't have any bad posts or bad experiences when it comes to this Advance Auto but this one particular day was just a hot mess and I felt it was my duty to report it. Also the night before I had a check engine light on they told me they couldn't check it cause it had gotten dark, and ai believe it was only 6 or 7 pm and I read one of the other reviews and I believed they actually helped this guy needless to say only difference was the color of our skin, but that's just an observation,. First off all the men behind the register had unwarranted attitudes maybe they didn't like the way I looked., anyway needless to say they had very questionable customer service. I was cleaning my battery in their parking lot and no one offered assistance except one of their delivery drivers and I felt that was really odd considering that I do a lot of business there and also they had no customers during the time I was there coming or going for at least the past 3 hours and I spent four of them in their parking lot trying to get my battery back in the car now a couple of customers that they did have told me unless I was a young hot blonde I was never going to get service from them anyway and I find that very disturbing. So if you're a woman just make sure you bring someone with you so if you can't get the job done on your own you have somebody there to help.
Daniel Barnes: Dropped a battery off, didn't get a call back but I called. Said it was bad. Came back in, showed receipt of it being only 11 months old and swapped it. Easy peasy.

Karma’s Countdown: Arrived at the location on Jennings Sta. Rd. /Hwy. 367 at about 3 minutes before opening, on the morning of 12/17/22. The door was locked, but the young lady working immediately unlocked the door instead of making me wait out in the cold. She was a dark complexion young lady in her 20’s with braids. I only mention description because I forgot her name, and hope she gets her recognition….She was very personable, and didn’t hesitate to go and check my diagnosis for a check engine light that was on. We both smiled that the diagnosis wasn’t anything serious, and both went on about our day…It’s getting rarer and rarer to find good, personable customer service these days (especially from younger people), so she was a breath of fresh air……We often write reviews for companies and their bad press….We should also write reviews for the good workers as well. Good job, young lady.

Austin Christensen: I like advanced Auto. They have helped me several different times by having hard time find parts, other places didn't have in stock.
Pinhead Larry: Never again will I rent a tool from this location, I was needing a brake bleeder vaccum pump and was given one that was deffective. When I went to return it to the store I was accused of breaking it. Bottem line, Before you rent any tool from this store make sure to check it over to see if it is deffective before you leave the store because the employees here do not check it. Luckily for me they gave me my deposit back

DuBB Wire: Anthony (I think) saved me about $500. I searched for keyless entry repair, replacement, everything, stopped at AutoZone and other places nobody knew anything or anywhere that could help me So when I walked in the store and Anthony corrected me *Key Fob* quickly checked his pc, found the box, examined the type, opened the box, read the instructions and made that sale so easy. From $500 factory replacement to $24.99 replacement. Glad I have a Ford, best aftermarket products but even more thankful for KNOWLEDGEABLE, ENTERTAINING salesmanship he displayed. Actually everyone in the store was both helpful, knowledgeable and light on their feet. Should I drive across town to go to this particular store or are all of their stores like that?

After I described the issues the guy behind the counter said it was the alternator. The alternator was replaced a year ago I say, he replies it's the alternator. He obviously wasn't even going to listen to me or test the battery. Walked out and went down to O'Reilly were the guy was super nice. He tested the battery and guess what it was shot. Replaced it and my car runs great now. You're lack of customer service has lost my business.

Dave Hinz: While over 600 miles from home, I needed some supplies for my truck urgently, and having loved the experience at Advance stores near my home, I specifically sought out an Advance location close to the highway on my route.Upon entering the store, I was asked if I had a mask. I replied no, but I've been vaccinated, thank you. The staff insisted I put on a mask to purchase what I needed. I would not have selected this Advance location had I known the staff would be more concerned about whether or not I was wearing a mask than helping me with what I needed. I doubt I will be in this specific area again, but if I were to be, I'd certainly seek out a store that is less concerned about being the "mask police".
A-Low: I was lead behind the counter and told to find the part I needed (brake line) because he had no how to measure the line or which one I needed. He told me to pick one and see if it works. I told him find another line of work because you have no idea of what you are doing. If I could give negative stars OMG!!!! on me it would be a negative 1000000!!!! Stars.
