Frank Leahy: Quoted price for repairs went up $1000 dollars in one day. I asked for an explanation, service manager had no explanation, tried to BS me. Whole experience gave me the creeps, felt shady all around. Don't go to Jim Butler, especially for service you will be gouged.Good European car mechanics in Brentwood, Rock Hill, historic Manchester, all have good honest service at fair prices.
Marianne Erickson: Same experience as Lola J -- No answer at the dealership so I reached out via the Website for the service department. Response (from Jennifer) when I asked about bringing in my Bambino for service was "No Thank You." Jim Butler clearly doesn't want any more Fiat business. A shame, because I love my Fiat and would like to work with an authorized dealer... but apparently this particular dealership has no brand loyalty. They sell new Fiats, but won't work on them once they leave the lot.

Jennifer Rios: I posted a really great review about Jim Butler Alfa Romeo but turns out that Jim Butler isn't what I thought it was. They proposed applying for a credit card to use as a down payment to purchase a car. They told me that the card I was applying for didn't accrue interest UNTILLL AFTER 6 months, but turns out that was a lie this card I applied for does have interest. My mistake was trusting them to do their job and not reading the final print and that's what I encourage everyone to do is read read read. I've called the dealership and left my name and number multiple times and never received a call back.The finance guy, I believe his name is Jim was really caring. He told me and my husband he was going to refinance my other car, to send him my information. I did and it never happened, even after I reached out multiple times! It was always" give me time" or "I appreciate your patience" but nothing happened.he also said that he was going to send us the title in the mail, not to worry about it because we lived in Saint Robert and the dealership is in St Louis. I couldn't register the new vehicle without the title so I had to pay a late fee because Jim Butler sent it after 2 months of me purchasing my vehicle.I had a good experience at the time, customer service was great but my after experience and what I'm dealing with now changes my review on the dealership. They don't follow up on their end and didn't give the right information about the credit card they encouraged me to apply for.I have recommended people to Jim Butler but I wouldn't now

The sales person Najja had the car I wanted ready for me to test drive and greeted me as I walked in the dealership. He was very professional! Jim the financial guy was a very big help to my wife and I when it came to the monthly payments and where we wanted them, He did his absolute best and fought to get what we wanted. Brett negotiated fairly, provided outstanding service and got me the vehicle I wanted. My husband and I actually traveled over 250 miles to make the purchase of my new vehicle based on Mr. Estes commitment to making this deal happen. Finance manager Jim Hodgkins was no slouch either. I came with my own financing but Jim took some additional steps to get us in and out efficiently. When he's not crunching numbers and being all serious, he can be funny too. Jennifer Dembiec: I will not buy a car from this dealer based upon how I was treated and talked to. The “finance” guy (Jim/Ken/can’t remember) was so disrespectful and demeaning. I had a particular car that I was interested in for a particular price. They were not able to sell the car that I wanted for the price that I wanted. So I walked. But it was the way I was treated that was so disgusting, I will not be buying a car there. Ever. No deal is worth that treatment. And as I was walking out of the very open lobby, the “finance” guy made disparaging comments about me (loudly to his coworkers) and how “unreasonable” I was being. Very unprofessional! I hope they implement a life training program on basic skills on how to treat people kindly and with respect. His behavior should never be allowed and tolerated.

I ended up with a Nissan Leaf full electric car that is perfect for me! The price was exactly what I was looking to spend and her knowledge of the car made me realize that it was the right car for me! Jim got me a great rate and was so easy to work with. Tyler Hodges: Extremely pleased with the purchase experience I received at Jim Butler. Kayla was a great sales associate. There were a few delays with how late in the day I got to the facility and how many people showed up at once but they were attentive and very thorough with the information they were getting for me that I had asked as well as keeping my daughter entertained since we were there a few hours on Friday night. Was asked to come back Saturday to finish up because they believed they could get me a better rate and Jim walked through every question I had on the paperwork side. Ken (another sales) stunned my daughter with magic tricks and she is still trying to figure them out. Definitely would recommend Jim Butler and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio. The car is absolutely amazing

Your reply about me removing my review because you gave me what you call exact information on a car is not relevant at all in this situation. My review would not have been removed if you gave me a car. The experience was terrible. In my opinion your reply shows you are in the wrong and that you are aware that Jim is a crook as you are defensive instead of just accepting your fault.I went in for a specific used car I found online. I called and spoke with a great, friendly, and helpful sales associate. Explained my max dollar amount and agreed if we could not make a deal I completely understand and due to my great experience with her that I would return to her with future vehicle purchases. The finance manager blew that. Jim has zero integrity. He actually got angry with me for trying to thank them for their time and just leave. He was extremely pushy and unprofessional. If he was an employee of mine and spoke to a customer of mine how he spoke to me he would have been fired immediately. I would avoid him at all costs.

Katie Suozzi: Won’t ever go back to this dealership for service. Avoid working with Doug Grills if you can. He’s rude and appeared annoyed to be checking the car in for service. When picking up he was even more unpleasant, a true jerk. While I was waiting for my a vehicle a mechanic walked by and shouted “I f’ing hate this place”. Overall an awful experience. The only reason this gets any star is the gentleman who pulled my car around, he was very friendly.

Our XC90 Recharge SUV is absolutely stunning! Joe M., my #1 sales associate at Dean Team, is the BEST! We met Joe in Sept 2022 - just browsing the Dean Team lot! His knowledge of all things Volvo is second to none. I appreciate his patience as I couldn't settle on an XC60 or XC90, Hybrid or not, interior/exterior, color trim level, etc., etc., etc.)... so many decisions and tons of questions (Lol). Megan Ingalls: Service department supervisor, “I’ve had oil changes that take 2 weeks!” I would not recommend for any routine services. The staff is rude and claims to be the victim in all situations. This dealership offers little to customers aside from their inability to complete a task in the time they agree to. As a young female, I feel I was further disrespected as the service staff of middle aged men found it easier to push my concerns to the side rather than address them.

David Soto: I drove 12 hours to buy a CPO Volvo V90. When I arrived the windshield was cracked. They offered me $1,100 off a $2,300 windshield replacement. I drove 12 hours home with out the car. I recommend out of state buyers stay away from this dealership. They are not thorough in their inspections and won’t offer fair compensation for their errors. You just can’t trust them.

Shireen Parsai: Worst experience in purchasing a vehicle - I purchased a certified preowned Volvo. I contacted Volvo Customer Care. I advise that you do the same. This dealership should not be selling cars. This is the only thing that got their attention.The entire staff is unprofessional and untrustworthy. From beginning to the end of the process, nothing happened on time or as promised. When the car arrived, it smelled of cigarette smoke. I tried to remedy the issue and speak to the sales manager, Scott. He too, is a part of the problem. He continued to reiterate that he had 6 people in the car, but no one smelled smoke. He was essentially gas lighting me. I took the car to the local dealer who definitely could also smell the cigarette smoke. But to the current moment, the sales manager continues to ignore my calls. I still haven't received the final bill of sale that was promised to be overnighted by FedEx. Can't even register the car! Avoid this dealership.
Eromoseh Elijah: I was shopping for a car and I saw a Yukon Denali online with a $46, 000 price tag, I called the number to know whether the car is available, Jennifer Crawford picked the call and said the car was available. I drove down to the dealer (DEAM TEAM VOLVO OF ST LOUIS, in Manchester road). A couple of concerns:First, Jennifer told me that the prices online are only for military veterans, so she gave me a new price way more than what was on their website, which is the most ridiculous lies I have heard in a long time.Secondly, I found out the spare tire was not in the car, I demanded a replacement, Jennifer went to talk to her manager, came back to me and said, I have to pay for the replacement of the spare tire.Thirdly, I told Jennifer(sales agent) not to run my credit because I already got an approval from my bank, she told me she cannot run my credit without my authorization. Immediately I left their office, I got an email from Equifax, that DEAN TEAM VOLVO ran a hard credit check on my credit.What Jennifer Crawford did was unprofessional, unethical and unlawful.I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND TEAM VOLVO TO ANYONE.

Paul and Brian were very communicative regarding any questions I had pertaining to my purchase. Would absolutely return to purchase another car from them. The cherry on top was the willingness to drop 1k off the already great price of the car. Loved my experience from beginning to end. I felt well taken care of with Paul, Brian, and St Louis Volvo.
B F: The general manager of this dealership, Scott, refused to sell me a vehicle through an out of state purchase until local buyers had an opportunity to purchase the vehicle, or if I used their financing. The local buyers that showed up throughout the day were not interested, as I simultaneously tried to purchase the car for 8 hours. Throughout this time, Scott gave me the run around to allow for local appointments to test drive the car and give them priority. Scott sent me a purchase order without calculated tax to waste more time, and told me he knows more about those appointments than I think, so he won’t take my deposit while I finish the purchase. Once Scott finally allowed me to purchase the car because local buyers weren’t interested, he raised the deposit amount from $1,000 to $3,000 and refused to repair the cracked windshield that ultimately FAILED state inspection (for several reasons). The car was held for days after my bank sent forms and payment because staff were on leave and not checking until I called. I had to become an expert in this process just to keep things moving efficiently. Either this is their way of doing business, or this was personally done towards me as an out-of-state purchaser. Regardless, Scott made sure to make each step of what should be an exciting process, purchasing my first Porsche, the worst sales transaction I’ve experienced.My local friends in Missouri had not heard good things about this dealership, and this transaction grounded those rumors. While I should have listened to their advice, the car kept me in the fight to make this purchase. Please understand, it was a FIGHT.

He responded quickly to every text and phone call along the way. He was super helpful getting it shipped and we are very pleased with the car and our experience. Mark Thomas: This review is specific to the oil change I just had. It was the first maintenance I’d had on the car since buying it used from this dealer. I was pleased that there was no upsell into a “recommended” service package. The price was fine but it would have been nice to honor the 15% off any service coupon I had just received. Fine print says oil change not included, but the goodwill goes a long way. The oil change took just over an hour, but that included fixing a nail in the tire. The waiting area was quite and clean which I liked.Besides the coupon, the only other bummer was that the car wasn’t run through the wash. I’ve become used to from other mid luxury dealers, although they do push hard on the upsells.Now if I can just get the sales guy to stop ghosting me about the We Owes.

The customer service was horrible Jennifer was my point of contact.The manager lowballed me on my trade in a 2020 dodge Charger R/T with some great upgrades!! Then I did not receive a call back on the status of the vehicle. So I text Jennifer to find out was going on she said the manager needed a co-signer or 30 % down which is Ridiculous!!! The thing is I went through my credit union and was approved for the amount of the vehicle!! The credit union asked she was I going to come sign the paperwork.. so tell why the finance manager asked for the obscene down payment.. this company is a rip off I will never refer anybody to The Dean Dealers none of them they are a ripoff buyer beware Dean Team is shifty dealer not consumer friendly I hope they never sell another car!!!!!!

He attempted to deny me service for an appointment that I had booked weeks in advance due to the fact that I’d voiced my opinion on previous work that had been done on my vehicle while in their care. I will be escalating my concerns to the Better Business Bureau since your General Manager Nathan Voorhes has yet to return to the numerous voicemails I’ve left. Glen is pictured below for reference he seems to have an issue when women question his teams’ work especially an African American Woman.

I love my new vehicle!I had a horrible experience at a DIFFERENT dealership but Gus fixed EVERYTHING!After being told that I couldn’t purchase the vehicle advertised without purchasing a $4400.00 extended warranty, I had to find a replacement. I searched for the exact vehicle and options that I needed. I found ONE vehicle. Caleb treated me as a serious buyer from the beginning and made me feel welcome, which is something I didn't get from other dealers. I think the reason number one why I didn't go to check other cars I had in my list was the great customer service from Caleb. I would definitely recommend asking for his services if stopping by. I drove away very happy with my brand new car.

It was 15 minutes to closing time, and multiple personnel all stayed late and got her in a new car within 2 hours so she could get home to Iowa. They took care of other small details like registration out of state, along the way.Very classy, and much appreciated.
Sharla Wiegand: My mom and I had just flown into St. Louis airport ready to drive three hours home to Iowa when her trusty 2012 Buick sputtered and died right on the Mississippi bridge at rush hour. She was ready to trade in immediately so I located the nearest Buick dealership and called around 5:45 pm. They closed at 6:00 but were willing to stay late to help us out. The tow truck took us directly to the dealership and in two hours flat we were leaving with a new car.Salesman David Christianer was so kind and helpful. Manager John, Manager Thomas and Finance Manager Leo all stayed late to accommodate us. They could have really taken us for a ride in our dire circumstances, but I could immediately tell they were honest and of utmost integrity.After we returned home, they followed up in mailing the title to us and reimbursing us for registration fees after we paid them in Iowa.They went above and beyond to help us in our time of emergency and we highly recommend them!!
