John Hill: I have heard so many times that this is one best places for pizza in Kansas City and my wife and I finally tried it. On the side of the restaurant we were seated, the decor looked like an art auction and just didn't fit in a pizza restaurant. There were dirty nasty pizza box tops on the table and we figured out that was the menu, gross. They have a large beer selection with all types of domestic and craft beers, Tank 7 is always a good choice. We ordered the Italian chicken wings and they were really good. For our pizza we did a large half combo and half choice cut. They pile on the toppings for sure. The one thing I didn't like about the "hand tossed" crust. It looked and tasted like those pre-made pizza crusts you buy in the grocery store. Overall, we were not impressed with the pizza but the wings, that's worth coming back. The service was great, Michael did a great job.

johnny howard: I don't know about you but I like Minsky pizza Ive eaten in and and made pick-up several times. Thats why I was surprised that where I live they don't deliver especially with these deliveries companies that deliver now days. I went on there online order sight and they don't deliver to the east side of Kansas City where I live which I thought was unusual. But more unusual than that door dash and grubhub does not have minsky in there restaurant list. Your company have to be either computer illiterate or just I hate to say, bias to not let one of these companies come in to deliver you pizzas to places that you don't want to deliver. Especially when you would be selling more of your product. I can't figure it out so im just going to express my view and let it go. Thanks for hearing my concerns

Dee Ray: I placed a delivery order at the plaza location that cost over $80. When delivered the driver left the food in the lobby for anybody to grab. I ordered the Chicken Bacon Club Salad after eating half, I realized there wasn't any bacon on it. I call and spoke with the manager who was cold and rude. He didn't care that my salad was not right. He said bring the salad back which was not an option, I had the salad delivered in the first place. He kept saying there was nothing he could do. But I paid my money for bacon on my salad and there's nothing he can do. It just don't sound right. He didn't say I'm sorry or nothing. I will be telling everyone and anyone that will listen about my terrible experience, starting with BBB and Facebook! Never going there again!

Victoria Holloman: This is still my favorite restaurant but unfortunately today I went in there and the customer service was not as good as it usually is. I'm standing at the counter and the girl in the red shirt and too much makeup is talking to her coworker in the gray shirt and ignoring me for about 5 minutes it was completely unprofessional. They also didn't come back and check on me after they gave me my meal to see if I need anything. The lobby was empty so there was no excuse for this either. I had to go up to them and ask for a box never had this experience before hope I don't have it again hopefully management sees this and corrects it. I'm also a black woman and you better believe that I feel like that has something to do with it as well fix it it's not okay.

Howies Garden: I came here in search of KC's best pizza, and because of the Andy Reid recommendation. I ordered a slice of cheese pizza, a calzone, and an order of toasted ravioli. The t-ravs were sausage, and although the breading was seasoned, it was very underwhelming. My calzone looked beautiful, but that's where it stopped. The center wasn't even melted, and the sauce was bland. The cheese pizza was just OK, and nothing to write home about. I'm sure others really enjoy this place, so I'm going to say it was maybe just an off-day.

kelly dodd: I love this place, we’ve been coming here consistently for over 10 years now. But after last night’s visit, we think it might be time to explore the city’s pizza options and find a new pizza haunt to call home. I feel like I’m cheating on this place even writing this, and I definitely don’t want to get into the nitty gritty of what occurred yesterday evening because I respect so many of the staff so much. One of the employees (who knows us so well she can put the order in without us even saying a word) tried her hardest to right the wrong, but could only do so much because “she couldn’t go against her manager”. Should one bad experience negate not coming back? Perhaps not. However, it’s happened more than a few times that we’ve been made to feel like we’re asking for too much when we’re just trying to get what we actually ordered. Unfortunately, last night was the cherry on top. Pizza 51, (and a bunch of you behind the counter) you will be missed!
Joelle Melling: Great pizza, inadequate seating and shade. Umbrellas in summer would greatly improve the experience so customers aren’t competing for shade. Also, a visual cue or sign so people know to bus their own tables could help clear more indoor seating (you can’t see the tray drop-off from where you order, and if indoor seating is full, you never see it).Dietary restrictions: Gluten free is sometimes available.
Simeon Karnes: Two topping lunch combo cannot be beaten. The pizza itself is also fantastic. One of our go-to places for lunch at work and school!
Bill Smith: I’m all about supporting local businesses, will no longer support this place unless ownership changes. The owner was out of line with his huffy puffy passive aggressiveness regarding a group of soccer players. (7 year olds). He then finally burst into his parent shaming of how we were allowing our children to conduct themselves as if they were a group of Ferrell animals. They weren’t disrupting anyone and there was no need to approach the situation the way he did. Word to the owner, you’re pizza 51, not Capital Grille stay in your lane and you should be thankful for the party of 20+ we brought you. I’m honestly sorry your staff has to deal with your poor energy and lack of leadership. Keep it up and I’m sure you’ll be praying for business. We even had another person from a different table approach us after the owners temper tantrum to tell us “I’ve heard he’s an asshole”. Nailed it.
Daniel M: Beautiful outdoor spot for a large slice that takes up most of your plate. The pizza was delicious and just the right amount for me. The beer was the correct temperature. Nothing too special, but done well without unnecessary flare.... Which, I guess, IS something special. Stop by to eat and chat or read a good book. I highly recommend.

Asia E.: My son and I visited this restaurant yesterday and I was blown away by their customer service, quality of food, value for the money, attentiveness and sincere attention to detail. Selby is an absolute gem 💎. I mean it, she was bright, cheery and helpful. Her beautiful spirit just envelops you as soon as you walk in the door 🚪. She knows the menu inside and out and made great suggestions that took the meal over the top for me. My son and I got a cheese pizza slice with sundried tomatoes, spinach, onions 🌰, jalapeños and cream cheese 🧀 and a pepperoni slice. I also got a side salad 🥗. It was heavenly. The food was so good I began to devour it before I could even get a picture. Sorry about that y'all. The crust is thin so you really get to enjoy the toppings. The slices are HUGE. They cut it for you so you can easily pick it up and enjoy. I highly recommend this spot not only for the bomb a#$ pizza (easily one of the best in town) but for the superb customer service and experience they provide. When you pay them a visit tell Selby I said "hey girl hey" and make sure to tip her - she deserves it. Run don't walk for some of the best pizza ever. Nick Davis: I love Pizza 51. However, one evening recently we received our delivery and the cheese had completely slid off our pizza and was also slightly undercooked. Our Toasted Ravioli were nearly raw, chewy and cool to the touch. Very disappointing as we reached out to management and have heard nothing back. It will take us a while to come back, especially given we received no contact. Would be a 5 star joint for us otherwise.

Kristin Miller: We dined in so we could get the 26" pie. Slices were huge so you could easily get full off 1 slice. Pizza was really good & service was great! We shared the pie amongst 4 adults & still took some home. We also tried the garlic knots & dessert cinnamon knots - both of which were just as good as the pizza. Booths were large & offered plenty of sitting room & space. We happened to attend during one of their trivia nights. While we didn't participate, I liked that they do activities like this!

The waitress said it was her fault and she put the wrong order in. She fixed it and took 50% off our order. We wait another 30 min and get our burgers and they are burnt as well. Poor quality food. Poor quality service. The atmosphere was fine I guess. If you go here don’t order anything other than the pizza.

I ordered the Meat Lover's Pizza and it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. It was a perfect combination of flavors and textures. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and charming. I also enjoyed the 50% off any bottle of wine on Wednesday night. They have a great selection of wines to pair with their pizzas. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie sundae for dessert and it was heavenly. It was a huge cookie topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and nuts. It was a great way to end a perfect meal. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves gourmet pizza and a great deal. I can't wait to go back and try their other pizzas and specials.

TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER I had ZERO food, and after 40-50 minutes repeatedly calling to get "it's on its way" as the shut up we already have your money excuse I eventually wound up cancelling the order because clearly it's not going to be fresh anymore at this point....THEY WOULDNT EVEN CONFIRM THE REFUND OVER THE PHONE. No sorry, just dumb high school girls giggling over the phone. Worst trash experience I've ever had....Great way to treat someone who orders well over 50 bucks every time. Burn in hell. Chris Schwerin: I was a frequent patron at Minskys Pizza until just now. I came in with a 15 person party for my Mother in Laws Birthday and the food that was delivered was BURNT. I let the server know and she replaced it. However they only took it into the back for awhile and then brought it right back out. I spoke to the Manager on Duty (Trent McClelland) and he was rude. Asked for the General Managers contact info and was told his name was Jason but would need to just call the location and hope he was there. I used to eat here once a week and I will now never return. Many Business Meals here and now will not return. 1 bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. This manager need to go.

Every time i get a draft beer its flat and has a foul after taste. Doesnt matter which beer. To the point where i can only order bottles here which is a shame because i love a great draft beer.
