Tabi: BOB or SHOP is the coolest hair salon and little shop in Kansas City! Beautiful jewelry, hats, and cute clothes! They also have the best hair products! Jill is our hair stylist there. She is one of the best hair stylist in the Kansas City area! We drive an hr to get our hair cut by her! She can do any cut or style. She great with color! She is always kind and does great work! This place is clean and charming. You will definitely want to stop in and do some shopping!
Bree Ginden: I drove my teen boys 30 minutes to get here on the hope that Jill could cut their messy mops into the styles they desired (and that several other stylists just couldn’t get right). Jill came through with flying colors!! Another stylist had recommended her to me and I’m so glad she did! This is a cute little shop, Jill was professional, on time and reasonably priced. I haven’t been to the salon side personally (although it looks very clean and chic from the shop side!) so I can only speak to the shop side of the business. They carry a wide variety of home goods, trinkets, fashion and jewelry. I’ve found some of my favorite local makers here! Stop in if you’re looking for something for yourself or for a gift, you’ll probably walk out with something for yourself either way!

Veronica Bolton: We use party city for like all of our party stuff. We have three birthdays throughout the year and they always help us with the over 200 balloons and they even deliver it to the place they blow up the balloons for us. They give me a great price the store is always clean and fully stocked of everything. The staff are super friendly and nice. Sometimes I notice a deal with a really rude guest in the south keep a happy face on, and that shows a lot so that’s why I did this place a great review.

Clary LOPEZ: Well I spent over 30 dollars in 8 balloons. The dollar store is a better option. The balloons from Party city are special. In order for the balloons to last more than 8 hours you have to pay 30 cents extra for the clerk to pretend putting a jelly substance in the balloons before inflating them. She actually does not put anything she just pretends . Then you get charged a dollar for a bag to carry the balloons but you have to remove them immediately from this bag because they “suffocate “ and will deflate within 6 hours. Then you are asked if you want the string floor length or table length? I answered floor length. The clerk immediately grab the strings tied a knot and cut them “table length”. Please go to the dollar store for your balloons. Never again!!

Merika Burke: The workers were super helpful trying to make sure that I found what I was looking for. The cashier was so personal. Just extra friendly and down to earth. She made sure that she did not go too far from the register because she wanted to make sure that she was available when finished making my selections.
Lisa van Dongen: Should change your name to City because you forgot the joy of a party and providing even the tiniest level of service to make one possible. I messed up my balloon order for delivery and asked the store if they could help, but they would only refer me to the website telling me to "see what's available." When I said I'm talking to the store and asking you to help and the employee said ok thanks goodbye.
Donna Wright: They don't fill balloons with helium. Didn't know you have to pay 50 cents extra for each balloon for helium. Highway robbery!

Lucia Huonker: I went to two Party Cities today and I am so glad I went from one to the other!!! ... This one on E 152 highway was outstanding! Super attentive, helpful and courteous, vested employees .. and I met several while making my purchases. The store was well lit and welcoming, and fairly well stocked and while shopping, I had 2 employees offer to help me and then each time walk me over to where items were that I needed. So nice to have a Party City nearby!!
Erika Wooley: I purchased favors for my son's birthday. It has a Chiefs theme. Everything was pricey I thought. We spent about $79.00. We can pick up his balloons the day before the party. The Chiefs stuff was kind of picked over but we found some good stuff.

Kaleigh Wilson: Typical Party City. Hard to tell if the store is open because of the windows. They are tinted so it looks like there are no lights on inside. Other than that the store is clean and organized. They have lots of options and themes for birthdays and events.
Elle Lynnette: This place doesn’t even deserve one star. Four workers were standing at the register and didn’t bother to greet me. I am not from the area and was walking around countless times looking for something specific. For my experience, customer service does not exist and I will never be back.

(Minus the singing and dancing- but that would be awesome to see 😆) The store was very clean and organized. 10 out of 10 for customer satisfaction and customer service. Each team member was working very hard but still made us feel welcome.(Great Job and keep up the hard work).I love the variety of themes, characters and colors the store has. Yes, Thousand Island comes to mind but the finish is light on the sweet note with a refreshing clean finish!!! and the pork tenderloin the best I've ever had!!!!

Brent Hladik: Went to the kitchen/breakfast/whataburger site today. The person who took my order was the lead and not very pleasant with me. She seemed annoyed to have to take my order. I was asking basic questions about pricing since I haven't been there before for breakfast. Only asked one thing about biscuits and gravy then when I went to ask about eggs on the side she claims couldn't even tell me that without starting the order. She was pretty snippy with me as said "Name?!" vs like in a polite way, can I get a name for your order? Thought she was being pretty rude and muffled that under my breath as I was getting annoyed myself with her. She was like "Excuse me?! Then continued on pounding on the computer taking my order. Not very professional to me at all. Watched how she handled others was "acting nice" to them. Also tell your workers to not wipe their nose with the hand they use to give back money. Witnessed that happen where one worker did that to another customer.

The workers are super friendly and the parking lot & lines are NOT a hassle.

Mandana Honors: I left an incredibly unprofessional salon and came to Studio 39. I went from a Pinto to a Mercedes! The previous stylist wasn't as good as I thought she was...because I never met anybody as competent as Sierra! She was so kind and considerate. Shelby: I’ve been getting Brazilian waxes for a couple of years now, but I’ve never had the experience that Bridget offers at every visit. She’s an amazing esthetician and comes with much knowledge about skin and hair. She always make me feel comfortable and valued. Bridgette does a thorough job every time. Not to mention she is the fastest waxer I’ve ever been to- I’m never in the room longer than 20 minutes getting waxed. She answers all my questions with clinical based feedback.

Nathan Bates: I choose this place because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, the barber I got was a week out of school and did not seem to listen to my request for a cut. Not only did he mess up my cut requiring me to get a second cut the next day to fix it, but he literally wrenched my head around the entire time I was in the chair leaving me with a poor haircut and sore neck. $35+ for this haircut is simply not worth it even though it seems to be a very cool shop with some very experienced barbers.Service:Haircut

Big peśo: Came in town for the draft! Was trying to get a haircut close to my hotel. I chose this place and now My Hair ruined I want a taper and line up and left with half fade and no line up. Probably worst haircut experience EVER! They never did a taper in their life! Glad I brought a hat, PS They ONLY cut caucasian hair for reference.
Matt Stephens: Got my hairs cut a couple times (plus my son’s once) by Elias. Not only did he do a fantastic job on our cuts, he was approachable, asked good questions about what I wanted/liked/expected, and made you feel like an instant comrade (without talking your ear off). The shop is clean, cozy, hip, and fun. There’s an old school Pacman arcade game, a fridge stocked with an assortment of drinks including water and beer, and they’ll even pour you a spirited drink to enjoy while you wait. To top it off, their pricing is very reasonable and not nearly as pretentious as most similar establishments. I’m due back soon, and can’t wait.

Sarah Longnecker: Sadly, we didn't have a good experience getting our haircut. They forgot to check my son in with my daughter, and when we mentioned it, the manager said she didn't realize he was my daughter's brother. So they made us wait for another 30 minutes before they cut my son's hair. Then, when we were trying to pay, the lady at the cash register kept walking to the back and then up front without checking anyone out. She kept saying that she thought we (multiple customers in line) were not finished. All of the customers just kept looking at each other. It was odd how unorganized they were. Hopefully, this was unusual because they get lots of business.

Carmelita Woods: 3/29 If you have little kids this is probably what you are looking for. Like a first haircut, if they are babies or toddlers. As for me, well we were pretty disappointed in this place.It was a 2 week wait so my expectations were pretty high. I set my girls up with a hair cut, tinsel & a manicure.The hair cut was simple, just 4 inches off that was fine. They had boss baby playing & the interior of the place was a great vibe. Super cute. Toys, fun colors. That's probably where we should ended it.The tinsel was an odd experience the girls said, they asked it have it in one place & she put it where she wanted it.The manicure? Well I could've done a better job of globbing it on their fingers too. Cryssi Keeton: I took my son there for the first time ever and both ladies there were AMAZING! They helped distract not only him, but also my five year old daughter that was not getting a haircut, thus allowing me to bounce back and forth between children. My son had such a fun time, he threw a (shortlived) fit because he didn't want to leave. I will be returning there again and again and again. This salon is the absolute BEST place to take your kids.

Ashley Reaves: I really dislike how this location goes about scheduling here. The last two times I have scheduled an appointment for my son I have specifically scheduled with Holly. The first time they gave his appointment to a different stylist who butchered his hair, it was so bad I had to take him back the same day to have it almost completely buzzed off. Again today I specifically scheduled with Holly and planned my whole weekend around that because she has limited availability. 10 minutes before his appointment I get a text saying that he was rescheduled with another stylist. Apparently another client who was not scheduled took my child's appointment. I was not contacted before this change was made and had no choice in the matter. We also didn't have the choice of waiting for her either and forced to go with another stylist. This all just seems very unprofessional.
Sam: I’m so happy I picked this place for my sons first haircut. Alicia did so good with him especially with him being a toddler and not sitting still. She did a wonderful job and cutting & styling his hair. Will definitely be back!!

N M: I saw Michelle yesterday. Let me just say I can understand why her clientele is massive. She's absolutely incredible. She treats you like a human being and not like another number in her chair. Demi was also amazing to visit and work with. At no time during my appointment did I feel pressured to buy anything, or make any decisions that made me feel uncomfortable. She not only gives me the red hair of my dreams, but also informs me with everything I need to know about hair and what she’s doing. As a local beauty service provider, I was referred to her by another local, highly respected beauty artist. I had my 1st appointment with her after spending the last few years looking for a new, competent stylist and... I have finally found her! I am a curly girl, a blonde, and also a local spray tan artist who gets really brassy easily. I came in for a curl cut only and left with a cut, and a glaze that exceeded my expectations... all in just ONE HOUR! What?! Now, let me just explain, I have been to some of the best, highly recommended salons in the metro, all of which hijacked my entire day, told me my blonde hair was "a journey that would require several visits to achieve and maintain" wayyyy overcharged me, and left me highly disappointed by time all was said and done. NOT today. In fact, it was the first time a stylist did not insult my hair, tell me how damaged and dry it was, or make me feel bad. She listened to what I wanted and what my concerns were, and she did not act as though she knew more about my hair than I do when I explained my past experience. My hair looks fabulous and healthy, it shines, my color look better than it has in over a year. I am also pleasantly surprised in how reasonable their pricing is as when I was checking out I braced myself for a shock that did not happen! Thank you for a top notch experience today! I came early for my appointment and got to start early, didn't have to wait at all. Chelsea did an amazing job shampooing and conditioning my hair. I asked for feathered layers and curtain bangs and she took time through each step of the haircut to make sure it was shaping up to be exactly how I wanted. Chelsea also took her time and had exceptional attention to detail while styling my hair. She did a fantastic job. I will definitely be back here for my next haircut.

Joel Pasley: Absolutely terrible customer service. Cane to buy one happy birthday balloon for my daughter and there was 4 employees standing there doing nothing but they said they couldn't full my balloon for 2 hours because they had other orders. But no one behind the counter was filling any balloons...the fact they couldn't take 10 seconds to fill a balloon for a walk in Customer while Noone was even using the helium is ridiculous. 3 other customers left as well because they were refused service. I guess Party City doesn't want to make any money...

I am doing this review as I am in line waiting for my ONE balloon to be inflated. 04/22/23 @7:53pm the lady putting together the balloons is absolutely the worst. ZERO customer service at all. We walked 3 feet from the counter after our balloons were inflated and one of our balloons popped. We walked straight back to the counter where the very nice cashier told us that since we didn't make it out of the store before the balloon popped that they would go ahead and take care of it and she knew we were rushing to our dads 45th birthday. I took the replacement balloon back to the lady inflating and she very rudely said "you need to go to the front counter and pay for that balloon again". I simply told her the cashier told us it was okay and you guys would take care of us. Then the lady starts ARGUING with the cashier infront of us saying "we aren't supposed to do that they need to pay" etc. so I felt disrespected and just told her we don't need a replacement we will leave and the very nice cashier lady told me it would be zero problem for the balloon to be replaced. Then the lady inflating added "it'll be a while because I have 2 orders infront of you" which I didn't care I was standing in line behind the other parties anyways. The lady inflating the ballon was absolutely rude, disrespectful, and has zero hospitality. And then to argue with your coworker infront of customers and then argue with the customer ? Wow. Thank you to the wonderful cashier for your great hospitality and understanding. You made the experience worth it.
