Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids: what do users think?
Alisha Davidson: We absolutely love Miss Kenna! We won't make appointments with anyone else. She is so good with our kids and knows exactly what we want each time. She's very personable and the kids just adore her. 5 stars for Miss Kenna!!!Service:Haircut
Heather Beach: Kenna is the reason we come back here time and time again. She’s so kind and genuine and is so great at what she does. This place is lucky to have her and she absolutely loves kids and is so good with our son.
James Hamilton: Unless you have an appointment don’t both going here. I showed up at opening to get a quick haircut for my child. They had 3 beauticians in store and only one lady that had an appointment. They said the soonest they could see me was the next day in the afternoon! So they proceeded to turn me and another lady away so their beauticians could continue to stand around and do nothing. Wonderful business model.Service:Kids' cuts
Ashley DeMoro: We've been coming here to see Kenna for years now, and she's done an excellent job each time! The kids love her and she makes them feel comfortable and at ease. Kenna delivers a great service each time. The establishment is always clean and orderly. I would highly recommend her!Services:Haircut,Hairstyling
SILVIA ARAIZA SALCEDO: The are very friendly and patience, I love it!
Sarah Longnecker: Sadly, we didn't have a good experience getting our haircut. They forgot to check my son in with my daughter, and when we mentioned it, the manager said she didn't realize he was my daughter's brother. So they made us wait for another 30 minutes before they cut my son's hair. Then, when we were trying to pay, the lady at the cash register kept walking to the back and then up front without checking anyone out. She kept saying that she thought we (multiple customers in line) were not finished. All of the customers just kept looking at each other. It was odd how unorganized they were. Hopefully, this was unusual because they get lots of business.
Deborah Longbrake: They were great with my grandson.
Akimi Weller: Lots of toys and prizes right when you walk into the shop. The shop is clean and the ladies are super friendly/kind. They took both my kids and gave them the haircut. Kenna is amazing at distracting the kids while she cuts their hair.
Britty Harbord: Holly did amazing with my 7 year old :) always the best customer service when we come here!!! Kayt at the front was amazing the minute we walked in to the minute we left!! Making our experience even better!! She is so good with kids!!! I’d give 10 stars if I could!! Love the atmosphere here!!! My kid always looks forward to coming here!!!!!Services:Haircut,Hairstyling
Carmelita Woods: 3/29 If you have little kids this is probably what you are looking for. Like a first haircut, if they are babies or toddlers. As for me, well we were pretty disappointed in this place. It was a 2 week wait so my expectations were pretty high. I set my girls up with a hair cut, tinsel & a manicure. The hair cut was simple, just 4 inches off that was fine. They had boss baby playing & the interior of the place was a great vibe. Super cute. Toys, fun colors. That's probably where we should ended it.The tinsel was an odd experience the girls said, they asked it have it in one place & she put it where she wanted it.The manicure? Well I could've done a better job of globbing it on their fingers too. Lasted about the 40 minute drive home. One hair cut, tinsel & the worst nail job I've seen? $70The ladies were friendly enough, but maybe they should work work on what they are selling.I've seen all the other reviews & I'm glad everyone else has had a great experience. But it was a hit or miss for us since it was our first & last time.3/30 never mind, nail polish & tinsel is out already. So I paid $70 for a 4in trim.Services:Haircut,Manicure
Cryssi Keeton: I took my son there for the first time ever and both ladies there were AMAZING! They helped distract not only him, but also my five year old daughter that was not getting a haircut, thus allowing me to bounce back and forth between children. My son had such a fun time, he threw a (shortlived) fit because he didn't want to leave. I will be returning there again and again and again. This salon is the absolute BEST place to take your kids.
Joseph Hawkins: Ms. Holly did an amazing job on our little guy for his first haircut.
Ashley Reaves: I really dislike how this location goes about scheduling here. The last two times I have scheduled an appointment for my son I have specifically scheduled with Holly. The first time they gave his appointment to a different stylist who butchered his hair, it was so bad I had to take him back the same day to have it almost completely buzzed off. Again today I specifically scheduled with Holly and planned my whole weekend around that because she has limited availability. 10 minutes before his appointment I get a text saying that he was rescheduled with another stylist. Apparently another client who was not scheduled took my child's appointment. I was not contacted before this change was made and had no choice in the matter. We also didn't have the choice of waiting for her either and forced to go with another stylist. This all just seems very unprofessional.
Sam: I’m so happy I picked this place for my sons first haircut. Alicia did so good with him especially with him being a toddler and not sitting still. She did a wonderful job and cutting & styling his hair. Will definitely be back!!
Brandi Boyer: Wonderful place, Keena is absolutely amazing at what she does! Will be back x10!
Jake Prater: Nice people. Affordable. My boy really likes watching paw patrol to take his mind away from the hair cut
Ryan Willett: All the employees are great with the kids and are able to do the haircuts quick, fast, and good for young kids who constantly move around. The mini store they have at the entrance is great to if you are looking for any haircare products for your kid or any toys.
Bret Peery: Kenna is the heart and soul of this store. We love bringing our kids here. Simply the best!
Ruthanne Smith: We have come here multiple times. My son enjoys getting to choose his own seat, watch something, and play with their toys. Each time I tried someone else either because I didn't really like the stylist prior or they were there just helping out. Finally this last visit we had Holly. holly rocks and I will be booking with her again!
Sammy Hughes: Nice place. Little crazy with lots of screaming kids but they do a good job

Colorful Creations: what do users think?
Monet Davis: I had THE best experience at colorful creations, my stylist was Bobby Ann and she is amazing. She gave me a consultation of my hair and suggested different ways to get it healthier since I’m transitioning. She kept me aware of the process the whole way and was very helpful whenever I had questions. I got a silk press and my hair looks and feels amazing definitely a 10 out of 10 recommend going there and ask for her.Service:Hairstyling

Ollie Woodard: Very professional, clean, and friendly environment. Angie, the owner, is the best!! She does excellent hairstyles and eyebrows, and she is a great conversationalist.
Tische Parker: Cheriese is the absolute worse! She's ALWAYS late and this last time didn't even show up. The salon owner is very sweet and reached out to her, however, after waiting nearly an hour I left. She clearly has no business etiquette and is held to no standard for being a stylist in the salon.Service:Hair extensions
Wokadala Rebekah: Got accepted last minute was treated with respect and care overall great experienceServices:Shampoo conditioning,Blowouts
Queene James: Do not go to Bobbie Ann. She is rude and over schedules clients and will not care anything about your time. Throw the whole beauty shop away and go to savvy salon instead. You will be happy you did. Nice beauticians and professional without overcharging.Services:Shampoo conditioning,Hairstyling,Hair extensions
Monique Waters: I just love Angie! She does a great job every time and she is great to talk to. She listens and always makes sure I’m happy before I leave. I will always be a client.Service:Hairstyling
riviera b: BobbieAnn is the best! Especially if you are getting a silk press! She is so patient but quick! Offers great advice and just an overall nice person! So if you want your hair cared for right, your eyebrows & lashes beat and your hands & feet on fleek, Colorful Creations is where you need to be. PERIODT!!Services:Braids,Haircut,Makeup services,Hairstyling,Pedicure,Manicure
Shameka Moran: I brought my two daughters to see Frances Ross. She was very late and rude. We asked for a silk press and she just styled their hair. She had a bad attitude. Plus she cut my daughter's hair into a style and I didn't ask for that!
Cheryl: Great atmosphere. The stylists know their stuff. Very friendly. Angie serviced me. I was afraid but, my hair turned out very well! Thank you Angie!
Ounjanise Williams: Nice friendly atmosphere. The ladies are very open and welcoming. I love the new look @frances
Netta Kinney: Nice Place
Taelor Thompson: Service:Hair extensionsPositive:Cleanliness
Ebony Green: Positive:Professionalism,QualityMy hair always looks good! I’m very picky and specific about what I want, Angie always gets me right!Services:Hairstyling,Hair extensions
Dalene Williams: Came in for a silk press, was greeted and was washed and blow dried by the stylist daughter, that in itself is unprofessional, next it was time for the silk press and all the stylist could say was you lucky you texted cause I was going to leave. Just an overall bad experience. Won’t be back, my ends didn’t get cut, my hair has no silk it was very flat no movement, she didn’t ask how I wanted it parted. You could just tell she was in a rush. I had to go home and fix itService:Hairstyling
Candi Cane: Best place ever and affordable. Beauticians are nice and very professional.

Shear Madness Haircuts For Kids: what do users think?
Dezera Jones: Love love love. Only place we take our littles
Brock Lane: Little expensive but our boy loves it.
Courtney Taylor: Wonderful experience for my 3yr old and 9yr old. The ladies were so sweet and good with them. I only gave 4 stars due to the price of a kids cut here, I usually only bring my kiddos here for their first haircut.
Blake Holden: Always a great experience, my 15 month old has been getting his hair cut there regularly and they do fantastic
Shyanna Birzer: I got my 3 year old daughter's hair cut with Sarah and she was awesome with her. I told the stylist that this was her first full haircut and she helped me with the hairstyle I chose with what would work with her curly hair. My daughter loved picking out her own chair and her own movie. The stylist even styled her hair after with a French braid and I was not expecting that and loved the extra attention they give to the kids.Services:Haircut,Hairstyling
Alan Cooke: The stylists we've had have been great with our kids and their hair looks great. It's tough to get a four year old to sit still but they do a great job.
Ramez Mourad: Extremally unprofessional, we arrived 3 minutes late to the appointment due to the traffic, the receptionist who claimed that she is the manager, was on the phone for another 3 minutes, they left us waiting, when she finished , she told us in very unprofessional way that we are late 7 minutes and they cannot provide the haircut . she didn't bother to provide any other solution after we drove 20 minutes to this location . We left and went to great clips , the lady there was really nice and our son got a really great hair cut....Service:Haircut
Ashley K: We had the BEST experience! Leanne cut my sons hair and she did amazing! He absolutely hates getting his hair cut-kicks, screams, cries…today was a whole new experience! Our only place for haircuts now!
Carolyn Williams: My three year old loved watching paw patrol during his cut. His hair looked great and they have a great selection of kids toys and books for purchase.
Chelsea and Strother Gross: Would not recommend. For a place specializes in hair for kids, they were unorganized, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Easily the worst haircut experience I've had.
KaiZen Coorp: Son muy profesionales, el lugar es muy adecuado para los niños
Caitlyn Brungardt: Taylor is the best person there to cut hair i only a few other people cut my son hair and i only had one bad visit in the last two years when a older lady messed my son hair and didn't do what i asked for and gave him a bowl haircut and Taylor fixed two days later!! it wonderful and amazing place to take your littlest ones i highly recommend this!!!Services:Kids' cuts,Haircut,Hairstyling
Kyle Tritsarolis: An outstanding staff. They’ve done a great job each time we’ve taken our kids.We usually go in with pictures of the style of cut that we want and they rock it.My only complaint is the over priced toys up front. I get it, they’re making money, but you have to go through a room full of toys to get your haircut.Definitely a good experience and a great staff though.
Sailor Star14: This place is a lot of fun for young kids! My sons love sitting in the various car chairs, and the TVs are a huge help for my touch sensitive child. The gift shop in the front is great for rewards and isn't badly priced!
Caitlin Horsley: At first glance, I thought my son's haircut looked good. But, we were in a hurry after the appointment and I didn't notice until later how some pieces of hair were missed. My son also broke out in a rash on the back of his neck and that hasn't happened to him before (we usually go someplace else). I thought the store was cute and liked the cars kids can sit in and the TV options to distract them, but I won't be coming back.
Lindsey Lipsky: Jae does a great job and she is so kind to my kids who are haircut averse!
Katie Hearn: My 5-year-old daughter got her ears pierced here. The staff was patient and walked her through the process step by step, asking her permission along the way. They pierced both ears at once. The price was right and she even got to choose a stuffed animal to squeeze and take home. Can’t recommend highly enough!
Rachael Caple: Usually a wonderful experience this last time not so much
Julie Schwed: Lori was great and did a fabulous job. A "please consider"...since the place is small and toys were all over from the kids playing, maybe rearrange to make more walking/ standing room in the area where you enter. We had not been there before and were not told there was a bench on the other side of checking in. It wouldn't have mattered, it was covered with coats from the birthday party. Maybe have a place to hang coats? I'm sorry if this just sounds like complaints, it's just observations from 2 grandparents.Great concept, we will be back. Thank you!
Danielle Morrison: 4/5 because it honestly just depends which hair stylist you get. We’ve gotten great haircuts here for our kids and just okay haircuts. The environment is great for kids and we will continue to go back!
C Troz: decent pricing. friendly staff, haircuts not bad.

Shear Madness Haircuts for Kids: what do users think?
Christa Moore: Love this place! They are awesome with kids.
Katie Barkley: Went in at 12:45, there was no one getting a hair cut. They told me I would have to wait til 1:45 for my 3 year old to get her hair trimmed. Why have the doors open if no haircuts are being given? Lost a customer. Going to a salon where they actually give haircuts while they’re open.
Tiffany Hopper: Great place to get a haircut for your kiddos. There's different chairs for them to sit in: car, motorcycle, train, firetruck, etc. (6 vehicles total) so your kid can act like they're driving the whole time. They're very kind for first haircuts and don't use clippers (just the scissors) to not scare the kid. They have screens for each of the charis so the kids can watch their choice of show from a selection. There's a lot of toys in the front of the store. The haircut with the clippers wasn't perfect. Rather, it could have used some work. I think they probably think their clippers are barber grade (they are not), so they only go over the hair once when they should be going over it several times... and there were quite a few stragglers.I will say, this would probably be a bad place to take a kid who gets overstimulated: toys, bright lights, lots of tvs, cars to ride. I imagine it would be hard for a child with sensory issues.
Joy Larsen: Always does a great job!
aL _: Brought our 2 year old their first haircut, the ladies there were very patient and good with him despite his objections. Definitely recommende to any parent or a young child.Service:Kids' cuts
Litta Lambert: First haircut! Did awesome!!Service:Haircut
Jacque Arni: My son has autism and can’t talk yet at almost 3. I was positive his first haircut would be a nightmare but he didn’t even flinch! Not even at the clippers! Natasha was awesome and gave us the exact cut we wanted.
Katie Pettus: We won’t take our boys to get a haircut anywhere else! Perla is the stylist we always request- she is so sweet and kind with my kids, and exceptionally talented ❤️Service:Haircut
Heather S: Took my two year old son here for his first haircut. Very nice place and they did a great job.Service:Haircut
Cheyenne Laux: Always a fun place for the kids
Jess hatchitt: I understand it's hard to cut kids hair but when you specialize in it.. you should know how to cut their hair and how to work with them. My sons hair looks like he attempted to cut his own hair!!!Service:Haircut
Megan Burns: My 11 month old was not happy about getting his hair cut. Perla was so patient with his crying and was quickly able to get his hair cut. If you’re worried about your little one tolerating a hair cut, I would definitely recommend here. They have different vehicle chairs for the kids to sit in and movies for the kiddos to watch.Service:Haircut
Alexandria Binkley: If you want your kid to have a bomb mullet, get scheduled with Perla. 10/10
Kate Berryman: Our son is a difficult client. They handle his crying and yelling with grace.Service:Kids' cuts
Kyle Trout: I will start out by saying if I could leave less than a 1 star review I would. The experience my family endured today is absolutely appalling and unacceptable! Our story will be shared with everyone we know, it was that disgusting. My wife and her mom took our 2 and 4 year old's for haircuts today. The 2 year old did fine as he was easily distracted by the atmosphere, once his haircut was completed our 4 year old was called up. At that time he was in the toy section with his gma and (being 4) wasn't thrilled with the idea he would have to leave the toy area.Almost immediately upon sitting in the chair (Shawna / Shauna SP?) began belittling him. Examples of this included: "oh you must be the 2 year old and your younger brother is the 4 year old", "You're acting like a baby", "I bet you can't wait to get back to grandma because you're spoiled". My wife spoke up twice throughout the haircut, and asked her to stop, and that the reverse psychology wasn't working. The final straw was when our son mentioned she was pulling his hair and it hurt, and her response was, "If you keep pulling back like that you're going to get a gash on your forehead" (mind you she has scissors in her hand at the time). At this point my wife decided the haircut experience was over in the middle of the cut and paid full price for two cuts even though we received one and a half. Another patron was also witnessing this and continued to react with shocked expressions to my wife and her mom.To the stylist, and to the owner of this business (who my wife spoke to after the fact and offered zero explanation or restitution). I wish I wasn't working during this ordeal. This is absolutely unacceptable and will not go unmentioned. I don't know what kind of human being can stand there and berate a 4 year old for 20 minutes straight when they work at a place that prides themselves as being kid friendly.I am completely disgusted in this business, and embarrassed on your behalf. I hope that this review will help at least one person who is considering taking their child to this establishment. No kid, and I repeat, NO kid should ever be subject to this kind of treatment.Service:Kids' cuts
Veronica Mead: My kiddo loved this place so I went multiple times. The environment is kid friendly. However, the haircuts were always crooked or messy, and I could hear them complaining about tip amounts. Not professional and not a good look for a business. I recommend going elsewhere.Service:Kids' cuts
Michelle Rethford: Cutest place for kids haircut !!! Will definitely be going back.
Anna Dulewicz: Great place for kids to get a nice haircut! Good and friendly customer service. The manager is awesome and very professional. We'll be back.
Laura Corpus: My little one loved it. He didn't cry or fuss, they were very fast and he looked great after
Sara Adam: My daughter likes her haircut thank you Perla you were nice and did a perfect job. But the front desk lady she needs to work on her behavior.
Joshua Lee: Was late 7 minutes and they said we would have to reschedule to next week. 7 minutes! Will not be coming back…
