Not sure if he was a regular employee or manager but you can tell this guys has issues with races such as hispanics and black people. You guys have to train your employee better on giving a better customer service, no one is coming to get free items. Got so disgusted by this ignorant child that I decided to leave the location. I will definitely be contacting someone higher to have a conversation about this, since it seems not to be the first issue someone has had at this location, and I’m guessing it is the same person. We deserve respect and a better customer service employees!

I recently ordered online 4 big kids jackets that cost around $115 each . On the website beware that if you order a size and you return it to the website it will take 3 weeks from the time they receive your return to exchange or get a refund. This is not stated on their website . It does state you can take it into a North face store to exchange, but if you live 80 miles from the closest store that is pointless. I love product , hate the process and service. There are other competitor's out there. I guess it is time to move on . Now I wait 3 weeks for a refund of $400.00.. WOW ..

Walking around in sweats does not make me less. Walking around in heels does not make you better. I walked in and was no where near greeted the same way the other lady was, who was dressed in heels and a nicer outfit. I was asking for help and was brushed off multiple times. North Face, shame on you for letting these employees represent you. Truly disappointed with this location. Do better.
Steven McAllister: Experience left a lot to be desired. Tried to return an item purchased a few days ago and wasn't able to. Dozens of other retailers can look up receipts based on 1) your account or 2) the card you paid with. They couldn't do either. Receipt wasn't emailed or text to me when the purchase was made. I'll stick to online ordering going forward.

Tamara Smith-Hinchey: went to the Kansas City Store at Country Club Plaza with my biracial daughter. The staff was very disrespectful and staring at her, and following her through the store. They were whispering and looking at her with disgust. My daughter brought it to my attention and I looked up at the ladies. They both stared at me rudely and I looked back with a questioning look. They again looked at my 21 year old with disdain. I loudly stated. “ I guess they do not need our money in here Olivia!” I said this while looking straight at them. We walked to the door and as we were exiting someone asked if they could help us. I replied, “no”. This happened today at approximately 125pm to 130pm. It is very unfortunate to experience this kind of micro-aggression and to be made to feel less than, in one of my most favorite stores that I enjoy. Unfortunately, I was not able to try on the dresses I was eyeing because of racism.Horrible, disappointing experience.

I did a lot of catalog ordering back then so this the first time I ever went into their store...wasn't impressed at... I wanted something in a loafer and They had nothing... How weird is that. They had some shorts and pants out front of the cash register and I couldn't tell if they were women's or men's clothing... What does that say.. And the dark colored ladies pants that were in the women's section looked men's... Ulgy looking... I love their leather loafers without the tassel.. I get it.. Its summer time...but still they didn't even have summer loafers... This store has changed a lot from back in the day when I ordered from their catalog... I wasn't impressed with one thing I saw in there.. Which is sad because I use to absolutely love their clothes...not so much now😭

The lady that choose to not say anything greeted the woman that came in after me. This irritates me because I work in the plaza part time at Sur La Table and I make sure I greet everyone even if I'm with someone. Saying "Hi" goes a long way. I dont like to go places I'm not wanted. HUGE coaching opportunity.

Marilyn Solsky: This is the second time I have had a bad experience with a return at this store. The first time was several years ago; I had not worn the item, but there was a powder transfer from trying it on and the sales clerk would not accept the item for return. I took it to the Overland Park store and returned it without a problem.Today I had a horrible experience in the store. There were only a few people in the store, but the people ahead of me had a huge order. The clerk, who was new, was doing his absolute best. He deferred a couple of time to his store manager who was only aligning shoes on a shelf; one time he asked her if an employee who was no longer working there could still use her employee discount. The manager came over, engaged the person in conversation, as if she were an old friend, saw that I was waiting and went back to rearranging shoes. The second time she came over I asked if she could help me, but she waited long enough that the kind clerk was finally able to help me. I was incensed by her lack of customer service and after thinking about it, decided I would return the item right then. Because I called her out on her poor customer service she said I had disrespected her, she refused to take back the item and said she would call security. I am not sure she was the one who was disrespected. I admire H and M for trying to recycle clothing, but not enough to tolerate poor customer service or nonresponsive managers.
Tasanee Dumas: will not be coming here & I am a plaza resident.Was talked down by a cashier & manager (associate number:556647) tonight after paying $100 cash.. shopping with my boyfriend.I got some pink shoes for my birthday dinner, we had our dog with us so I had to help my boyfriend with his wallet so I was the main one in this transaction handling money.I gave him the $100 bill with a $38.83 total, he gives me back $21. He then calls the manager to open the drawer and says “wrong change.” , she walks away. (i do not understand why she did not handle the transaction after this point as a retail manager).After she walks away, he tries giving me back $40 and a $1 bill is all I had after he took the $20 from me. I told him, no this is incorrect.My boyfriend steps in, mind you he is deaf so sound is not apparent to him. Tells him he doesnt trust him with the money, please get the manager.The manager steps in and goes “are we yelling?.” I go “no one is yelling.”, her response “please don’t yell at my sales associates.” , mind you- no one was yelling & my boyfriend is deaf holding a dog.I then explain to her what happened, she interrupted me to say “let me talk to my sales associate first.” which then that associate tried to say he gave me the money ($61 which I never got) and then tries to play it like we were trying to get more money when we never got the correct change to begin with.We left with the correct change and a sad place it my heart because I will no longer be shopping here as a plaza resident.I would give 0 stars if I could, this used to be the best place to shop since I was younger. Now it’s gone down hill, need new managers who assist & employees who know how to count accurately + have customer service.

They don’t have changing rooms, so if I can’t try something on in store, and they won’t accept the return, then I don’t know what I’m expected to do. I liked H&M before, but I will have to find another store. Even though I’m sure they don’t care.

Adriana Miranda: I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and I am very disappointed on the service I received today.I had a return, it had been a couple weeks over the 30 day new policy and the associate told me that because of the time the items were not returnable, I asked to speak to a manager, when she showed up, (Chika is her name), she did not introduced herself and simply said "The items are not returnable because is been more than 30 days", she turned around and offer help to somebody else and left me there, didn't look at me or wait for a response, like I was invisible, I had to go around where she was to ask for the store manager's name, she said the name is "bolgena" I asked her to please write down for me, she said "We are not allowed to do that", I grabbed a piece of paper and asked her to spell the name for me, she said "The name is bolgena". and turned around to help the other customer, I was about to loose it so I left and went to another counter to get the store manager's name. Julie at the jewelry counter was amazing, she could tell I was upset and offer to help, she stated they can do a one time exception on the new policy and she did the return for me. Thank you Julie!I want to say, the main reason why I am so upset is not because I could not return the items, it is because how I was treated by CHIKA. She should not be in a manager position if she is unable to show respect for customers, needles to say, to provide customer service.

She first helped me a year ago with finding a great suit for an event, where she was enthusiastic, intelligent with her recommendations, and was so genuine that I left in a better mood.As I finished holiday shopping one year later (now), she helped me check out my items. She immediately remembered me and the conversations we had a year prior. She shows true kindness and compassion, and is a great employee that I am happy to return to.

Teal Hoover (Remmy): I went to this location with a friend to return a bra she had bought but did not fit, they told her that she could not return it even though she had the tags and the receipt in the bad with the item and she had only tried it on once in there store. The entire time we were there the lady that was helping us was giving me some not so nice looks. We had called another location to see if we could return it there and they said that it would be no problem to return it the way it is.
Selene Allison: Went to go return a bra because i didn't like how it felt. And they told me they couldn't return it due to sanitary reasons and the tags weren't on it. But the tags recipient and bra were all in the bag. And they let me try it on in the dressing room. Along with other ones. Which the reason I wanted to return it is because of the fact that I grabbed the wrong one that day.

He said he didn't know what I was talking about, because Mom was the one who picked them out and wrapped them from him... Lol so we decided to go shop for Christmas gifts for ourselves, from him.. I found mines ! Fun day. I love how this perfume looks, so cute and little different ones. But can't use them till I unwrap it on Christmas ❄️

Carmen Kerr: Here visiting from Bakersfield, Ca. I saw my mother today at a skilled nursing facility in North Kansas City. I decided to stop at Dillard's in Zona Rosa. Looking for some shoes, I noticed three sales clerks in the shoe depart while in the store. I thought 1 out of 3 would have asked me if I needed assistance. So I waited for 20 mins, still no service. Finally, I asked for a store manager Jeff Russell. The only thing he did was apologize. Can you imagine how this makes me feel? Dillards at ZR!!!! like I wasn't good enough to ask if I needed service. Being a VIP credit card holder!!!. I will being emailing corporate about this matter. Dillard's in Zona Rosa you missed a $425.00 sale!!! Thank you Overland Park Dillards for you hospitality!!!!!! Your service was on point!!!!!

Michael Schilling: Everyone in Kansas City is so nice, but the employees here are extremely rude. My wife, kids and I came here for a mini vacation and went shopping during our down time. When my wife needed another size dress, the dressing room attendant told us that they don’t do that there and we can get it ourselves. We brushed it off as we thought maybe she was just having a bad day. And then when leaving, holding a pile of things we were going to buy, a different employee told us we needed to walk back down to get the dress that didn’t fit, so they wouldn’t have to. They were so rude and sarcastic for absolutely no reason and, last I checked, h&m isn’t paying us to do their job. Needless to say, we dropped the rest of the pile too and walked out. Terrible customer service. Do better, H&M.
