Asia E.: Recently visited New Peking while leaving a nearby appointment. We ordered ahead and the ordering process was very simple and easy. The person that took our order was very pleasant. Our order was ready when we arrived and everything was hot and fresh. The order was accurate and the food had a great flavor. I ordered Shrimp 🍤 Fried Rice (fried brown in Soy Sauce, extra scallions and spicy) and Crab 🦀 Rangoon while my husband ordered the Combination Lo Mein, we both opted for extra shrimp.You get great sized portions for your money 💰 as well. The shrimp are deveined which is a MUST for me. I love the way they wrap their Rangoon - you get a nice pocket of filling to enjoy. Yummy 😋! So why didn't I give five stars?Well, this place is an iconic restaurant in our city and they previously offered an excellent dining experience. It's all closed off now and has been since the beginning of the Covid pandemic. They don't even offer a public restroom anymore or really any other experience except take-out.I miss being able to go in and have the dining experience. However, the food is still great and the value for your money is there as well. If you're looking for great Chinese food - give them a try.Vegetarian options: You can request modifications to meet plant based needs/requirements.Parking: Parking lot shared with other businesses and it can be tricky to find a place to park during busy times.

Tiara Price: I was a little disappointed because they were only takeout orders due to short staffing. But let me tell you when I say this was the MOST MAGNIFICENT Chinese I have ever had in my life!!!!!!!!! The veggie spring rolls and egg rolls were SO crispy and fresh. I could have squealed. This was also the first time I had ever been asked, whether or not I wanted soy sauce cooked in with my chicken fried rice!!!! I have been to so many Chinese restaurants and that step was always what their chicken fried rice was missing. The portions are HEFTY and prices are alright. Overall such a delightful meal. Worth the drive from Bonner!!

The meats were well sauced, which made great for mixing with the rice.The only complaint is that the styrofoam causes condensation, which makes the dumplings soggy and not pleasant.

Janice Park: So Disappointing. The eggrolls were soggy and squished almost flat. The scallion pancakes were dripping in oil to the point of being inedible. The low mein was tasteless. The Garlic Pork was the best thing we received, but one out of four does not make for a good meal. I should have known by the looks of the place when I went to pick up. The lobby wall was stained as if someone had thrown food at it and didn't bother to clean it up. Never again.

Karen Duffy: Tried for the first time and will be the last. The steamed dumplings had absolutely no flavor and were not cooked. The orange chicken was overcooked and had no flavor pork lomein was okay. If you want large portion sizes of tasteless food then this is you place. At least the squirrels enjoyed it

Seania Crowley: So the main entrees were great, zero complaints. But the steamed dumplings were awful and bland, though very large and seemingly made in-house. We were really looking forward to them when we opened the container and saw them. The poor service probably didn't help their taste. We placed an order to be picked up a full hour later and the order was finished 30 minutes later. We arrived 15 minutes after our pickup time (because we were driving into the city and couldn't get there sooner) to find our food sitting, unheated, on an empty table behind the counter. Don't offer order ahead options if you aren't going to respect the times requested. To everyone else, don't bother ordering ahead. Your food will be cold. If you then have to drive an hour home like we did, your food will then be cold and flirting with the line on food poisoning.

Raina: The food here was quite disappointing. The egg drop soup was way too salty and I just couldn't eat it. The beef with broccoli wasn't even the slightest bit sweet, which contradicts the description of the item. Even the crab rangoons weren't anything too special, which I would've expected from Bo Lings. I'd much rather go to a small, local Chinese restaurant than Bo Lings, which it really unfortunate. I won't be coming back.

Angel Blunt: The restaurant wasn't very busy but I still did feel very welcomed. The decor itself is absolutely stunning and it was extremely clean. There is no kids menu. I do not like egg drop soup and I didn't care for the fact that you don't get a choice if you want it or not. The general TSO chicken was fresh and tender and the crispy shrimp rolls were delicious but it's a bit pricey to only get 3 for $8 It did not feel worth it. It's a nice place if you want to splurge on a romantic date night but for a regular spot for lunch I do not recommend it.

Remy Acion: The food was good, but not as good as I have had before. It was late about 7:42 when we got there and they close at 8:30 so maybe that had something to do with it. The waiter was nice but spoke so fast it was hard sometimes to keep up. The very disturbing thing was that if you allow customers to sit near closing time then you MUST serve them properly. One of our appetizers came together with dinner because the kitchen wanted to close, that is crazy. They were mopping floors while there customers were still in the restaurant, we were not th we only ones. In all, I think they need to figure out that managers run restaurant and not kitchen runs restaurant. Again the food was fine. But our vegetables were cold and had to be sent back

Dakotah Bledsoe: Despite the multiple tables of customers without masks, we were not allowed in because we were not wearing masks. This is why our country has become divided. It doesn't make a single bit of sense. I will not eat at any restaurant that forces people to wear masks or show proof of vaccines. Violation of rights. The government does not care about our health, it's all about control.

Franklin Coleman: Most people have a few favorite neighborhood Chinese restaurants which they patronize. Since Bo Lings is so highly visible in Greater Kansas City, I was skeptical about what I would find there. As it happened, my meal of moo shu shrimp and black tea was among the best Chinese food that I've ever eaten - here, or in the NYC area where I formerly resided. The shrimp and vegetables were delicious, the pancakes were very delicate, and the plum was superb. The service was attentive. It was more expensive than the neighborhood places, and so I won't be going there every week, but I will go back to treat myself.

Ariadne Flores: I had a great experience at Blue Koi! They have friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. There are more vegetarian options available than I've seen in many other Asian Cuisine resturants. I highly recommend their tofu appetizer with "awesome sauce". I got vegetarian dumplings that also paired well with the appetizer sauce. Their noodles were homemade and well balanced. Their mango boba tea was also a highlight! The noddles were so fresh and good , the dumplings were really tasty and the best part was the chili oil. Laura DeYoung: Not super. Bibimbap served lukewarm in a ceramic bowl. No dolsot. No crispy rice bits at the bottom, no sizzle. The bulgogi on top was actually cold. And burnt on the edges. And tough like leather, with not a ton of flavor.Also no banchan. Pretty disappointing over all. Service was quick, and the prices would be good if the food was up to par.
Courtney Vallecillos: My husband and I had the Korean fried chicken. 10 wings. 5 sweet garlic glaze and 5 with the spicy Sichuan dry rub. They were so damn good. I've never had chicken that crispy. Especially after the glaze is put onto most chicken wings, the crispiness can soften or get a bit soggy. Not these wings with glaze. They stayed so crispy. The glazed wings were my favorite, but the dry rub was just as delicious.We dined in. Really nice environment. Really nice service and the food came out pretty quickly. Great experience.

shaia true: The staff was super nice and welcoming. The food was good, I hadn't been to P.F Chang's or Pei Wei in years so it was nostalgic to come here. I came with my grandpa just to hangout and the hostess was super nice, complimented me on my fit and makeup and she was super cool! Our waiter, I'm sorry I forgot your name, he was super nice as well. I didn't want an appetizer but my grandpa did and he helped us come to an agreement on what appetizers to get and he hooked me up on my food. And this one waiter passing by complimented me as well so the atmosphere was just very welcoming and I liked it. Will definitely be back 👍

We were told we could not eat here because they didn’t have enough tables. We could clearly see that there was more than enough tables for us to spilt them. Its just terrible quality food. And the menu claims they are meant to share. No THEY ARE NOT. The rice is charged separately of the entrées. They apparently clean the bathrooms with sugar water with how sticky they were. I can only imagine what they're doing in the kitchen as far as cleaning. All an absolute waste of money. Any restaurant that serves food like this with these prices is directly insulting their customers. Go to a restaurant that appreciates the fact that you're spending your money at their establishment.

Paul Secor Morel: We ordered Combo lo mein and ginger chicken to share. While the flavors were great, the meat was terribly overdone, dry, and rubbery. I thought Was eating over cooked chicken breast and realized the piece of meat at the end of my chopstick was a shrimp- unrecognizable! Definitely not worth the price I paid for this poorly prepared food.

Tina Garrison: Coming here used to be a real treat, we would love getting dressed up nice and go to PF Changs for a nice dinner. This place has changed so much within the last couple of years and no longer offers a good dining experience. We found the girls at the front desk to be rude, they stared at us the whole time we ate and it seemed like they were talking about customers and laughing. We were seated at a small, sticky and wobbly table. We waited for atleast 20 mins before the waitress came over to see what we wanted to drink, but waited a reasonable time for our food after ordering. We ordered quite a bit of food as we were with family, and there was NO room for all of it at the small table we were at. The guy who brought the food said maybe if we took the plates off we would have room, but i was just confused what we would eat on if we did that? We had hoped to get the bigger booth but the girls said no they were reserved. The whole time we were there no one was sat at the larger tables, either. (It wasn't busy that day and they were slow) the other review is correct, they have cut their portions in half, but the price is the same or more since I was last there, and didn't taste as good. I tried a new drink they had which was also good, but it was 13 dollars and completely filled with ice lol, so I think I took 3 drinks off of it. Waitress never refilled our sodas and we waited 30 mins after eating for our check. I was waiting for my daughter to come out of the restroom and she said the waitress was vaping in the bathroom. We finally paid and got out of there, the chubby short purple-haired girl at the front along with the dark haired girl said nothing to us as we left. 150.00 for a mediocre and awkward dinner. Save your time and money! We had a great experience for a birthday dinner at the Cheesecake factory where they still treat you well at your table with generous portions!

Our Chang's Spicy Chicken was so far off the mark it was hard to imagine. The Mongolian Beef was not only off on taste, but burnt as well. Unfortunately, even the kids meal seemed cooked out of a box.We didn't ask for a discount, but offered our feedback as the taste and experience was clearly missing the mark and we want it to improve considering it's the only KC location. It takes quite a bit of effort to drive to the plaza for this meal and you just want it to be worth it. When this restaurant first opened you left craving it for weeks, now it seems ignored...Btw - Our server was great and even took us on when the services team was understaffed.
