Eulogio Tovar: IT was great the attendants were on point..and the the movie and theater were fantastic.
Has2give has2give: This place closed unfortunately 😪
K. Celeste: Top Gun II and Jurassic World: Dominion were two of the last movies showing. This theater was conveniently located at The Ameristar Property and a great option for entertainment while on property. This theater 🎥 permanently closed and I am hoping for a replacement of another theater option in the future.I will check periodically for updates on the replacement.Thank you for the years of service.
Matt K: Theater is now closed, Boyd gaming failed to renew Regal's lease shuttering yet another facility within Ameristar Kansas City.
Leslie H Spurlock II: Regal Cinema theaters now it's now closed up after 25 years
Brenda McKinley: Saw a movie with my grands...what fun!
Fiddles 03: Hey so I called the casino and I wanna conform this to see if this is true they said regal is closing Kansas City location for good are you closing or what is happening sorry for 1 star
Anna Alonzo: Unfortunately, this place closed after 25 years. This was a great movie theater.
Gary Dunn: Clean, helpful person at counter, no that is industry standard but sound extremely loud. Restrooms clean.
Saif Salah Designz: Place is clean and the seats are good. And to watch Arabic movies is mean a great experience. Like the team and the place.
Catina Taylor: Had to purchase tickets at the concession stand not the box office. Pricey compared to other theatre brands... Clean, courteous staff and tons of screens.
Jacob Brandt: Great experience
Brandon Keck: Older style location, but still a great time.
Aaron Hurd: A very welcoming & friendly bunch of ushers & ticket-takers. As well, the auditorium remained clean and uncrowded. The digital screen made for a vivid and lively time.
Donald Corum: Great place.
•greentea•: Nice place to play arcade games with the kids. However the ticket prize conversion sucks 1 pack of pop rocks cost over 200 tickets
Aimee Cornwell: Very clean theater, courteous staff and priced right!Arcade is right across the Theater and is a blast to visit with the kids after the movie.
Marci C: Place was clean and fresh smelling. The seats in some theaters are not reclining seats but are comfortable. Bathrooms were clean and fresh. Sound system is good. People friendly and helpful. They even brought our hotdogs to us because they weren't done yet so we wouldn't have to miss the show. They posted posters on a table in lobby for people to take of some movies. Kids loved that. A plus is that it is inside Ameristar Casino and Hotel so lots to do afterwards. Restaurants, arcade, shops, fast-food, casino. Something for everyone. Go try it!
Kim R: $5 Tuesday's movies
Tonee Christensen: We had the theater to ourselves and the staff was very helpful! Shared specials and deals at the concessions and with the Regal app for Tuesday movie deals.
Kandi Farr: Very quiet, loved it

Ardeith Hopkins: I love to support this place. They have good film selections.
Chris Dunsworth: Could hear movie playing in next theatre.
Steve Crockett: Old school theater, but super clean, very well maintained, and staffed fantastically. They actually have a nice selection of reasonably priced snacks too!
Skye Noel Wagner: Super cute little gem of a movie theater. It feels really nostalgic and it’s also eclectic and unique. The staff are incredibly nice and friendly. It was really nice to see a movie there
Kansas K: Movie started on time. Picture was in focus. Volume was neither too high nor too low. Didn't buy any food or drink so I can't comment on prices. Nothing to complain about.

Andrew Sampson: Hidden Gem for seeing movies you don't see in the big theaters!!!

C C: Love, love, LOVE this place. Always an interesting selection of movies, easy access and quaint old Hollywood glamor. This is such a hidden gem.

Linda Stoll: I love going to this old timey theater. The theaters are small and cozy. Very low key, not flashy. Love it!
Nicholas Mulcahy: Quaint local theatre that shows many of the films that the bigger theatres usually don't carry. Prices are standard fare but highly recommend for indie films and lesser known ones.
Denise Adams: This licslly owned theater is your go to for Indie and foreign films. Family owned and great staff. Popcorn is also great!

B&B Theatres KC Extreme Screen Union Station: what do users think?
PeaxhDreamz TM: Pretty great theater and respectful workers! Although I'd say if you don't do good with motion sickness too much I'd recommend sitting in the back
Aaron Kirby: 7 story screen and sound were incredible. Will definitely come back!
Keanu Whitfield: Hgëbnddfghhjklzñnnett typical act stop
Nicholas P: My favorite theater to watch a big summer movie. Limited number of titles at any one time, but they look great when they are there.
Theresa swank: Love this screen and the price
JoBeth Davis: Saw the new Mario movie with the grandkids, first time ever there, wonderful experience. Parked very close walked right in. It was so much fun.
Howard Cohen: Very nice theater with a huge screen and great audio. The seats were very comfortable too and the popcorn was hot and fresh. I dinged them 1 star because the snack bar was closed and they had a temporary table set up with very limited options. If the snack bar is open next time I'll update my post and give them back the star.
Scot Pendergraft: Largest screen in the midwest!! It's 4 stories tall, lots of seating and just remodeled the concession stand, plus it's in Union Station which is one of my absolute favorite places to be in Kansas city!
adam eisman: love the huge screen!
Ashley Jones: Comfortable seating
First Street Software.: Always a good experience, large screen, nice seats. Good prices for the movies, all concessions are outrageous as others now. So disappointing.
Deborah Peek: Clean, easy access, very good.
Tracy Thayer: No warning of temporary concession stand. No butter or salt for burnt popcorn. Guy at the counter was a complete jerk, too.
Donna Werner: Not a bad seat in the house.
vallie guillory: The big screen adds another dimension to great movies!
Susan Payne: HUGE screen. Very convenient for me to access in my wheelchair. Highly recommend catching a movie here when you can.
Maureen Kelly: Great space for a movie! You can almost be in the film
Jason Giesler: Had a great time watching Top Gun here. Great looking screen
Carlos Torres: $5 tickets to first run movies - un eatable deal. Great projection and sound, and cheap concessions that are just as high quality as regular theaters. Proce more than makes up for paying for parking. Awesome activoty to end a Science City day with, too.
Jeff S26: Screen is very big. People are packed in the seats, hard to get in and out to bathroom. Not clear we're to purchase tickets. Price of ticket was very fair.
Jeff Hamons: Great place to watch Top gun

Rio Theatre: what do users think?
Natosha Halling: I LOVE this theater and it’s iconic style!! Please reopen it!!! I miss it so.
Caleb Daniel Herman: Best arts theater! Hope it is able to survive COVID-19
melody MTmassage: I love this theater. It's very nostalgic. When I was a kid I came here. In the 80's
Randy Greene: It's definitely a nostalgic theater, from the neon palm trees on the walls to the old school chairs. But it's cozy, never crowded, and has the feel of a local hangout.
David Nelson: Best movies. Best atmosphere. Local. Check it out.
voiceovercolm: A great theatre
Bob Beckring (frobbotzim): Splendid old art house, comfortable seats, spacious screen, gracious employees, really all the best reasons to abandon the TV for the evening can be found here. Can't wait to return. Thanks!
Charles Smith: Usually have movies that aren't shown in other theaters
Jason: Had a good time
Vicky Guess: Nostalgic and fun! They show documentaries I've been hoping to see as well as good films.
Larry Hawkins: We enjoyed the theater, but the air-conditioning was not performing at a level that was comfortable.
Devin Craft: Love the Rio. It is part of the Fine Arts theatre group with Glenwood Arts theatre. I go to Glenwood more often, but Rio is a fun change of pace when we want to visit downtown Overland Park. Like Glenwood, they run independent movies, Oscar contenders, and documentaries. We most recently saw "The Biggest Little Farm" which I wouldn't have even heard of outside of the Fine Arts theatres. They are great curators of films that are worth seeing! The Rio itself is a fun experience. The ticket booth in the front, the beautiful neon lights on the exterior and in the auditorium, the small lobby and concession stand...It's all very evocative.
Heidi Craft: Dinner and movie with my oldest son! We love the Rio and the Glenwood Arts theaters. Old theaters with so much personality!
John Jones: Great dinner theater.
J G: Takes me back to my childhood
Spyder Mama: Love this theater. Hopefully this historic place will not go way of the rest of downtown Overland Park.
t bland: It's an true honor to have come across this intimate theater that supports the FINE ARTS
Lois Winningham: Great atmosphere and shows wonderful movies.
Fowler Jones: Vintage art house neighborhood treasure.
marcia hurlow: Lovely little 1940s movie theater with original walls and snack bar, and its neon tropical decor makes it all the more fun. Happily, the seats are up to date and very comfortable.
Peter Sargent: A cozy place to remind you of what Movie Theaters used to be like. Always enjoyable

Tivoli Cinemas: what do users think?
Wall Flower: They show the best independent and old films. The films here show new perspectives and lives of characters you don't normally get to see. Lots of depth and meaning to these carefully currated films.
Shawn Laudun: Why did they leave the Westport area?
Michele Wagaman: We came down to the plaza last week to look at a watch for an anniversary gift, Amanda was very knowledgeable and helpful, decent selection and great service. Thanks again, M
Aiyana5807simms Simms11122007: My class went there to see underground road
S: I have always loved the Tivoli and so was relieved and thrilled to hear that it would not be permanently closing, but would be moving to the Nelson! However, I regret to say that I doubt I, or any of my friends, will be using this new theater often if at all.First, there’s the parking. $10 to park at a museum is, if expensive, to be expected. $10 to park to then go to pay and see a movie...is honestly ridiculous. Beyond that, it makes seeing these amazing movies far less accessible for the average person, as it adds so much to the price. I honestly thought, “surely movie goers will be able to get their parking validated!” And walked in and asked about it politely when I bought my movie tickets. The answer was a very blunt, “No.” it makes me sad that people who work hard for their money and want the treat of going out to see a movie will be discouraged from seeing the wonderful selection of movies that the Tivoli has to offer due to this added burden of cost. The day I went to the movie it was cold and snowy out, and there really was no other option besides parking in that garage.Beyond that, because the theater is located in a museum, there is a strict policy of absolutely no food or beverages allowed, which I get...except couldn’t that rule be bent for just water? Or something? I mean, we’re sitting and watching a movie in the auditorium, not smearing our dirty hands all over paintings in other parts of the building.Honestly, the experience just left me a bit sad and disappointed, knowing that I will likely not be returning to see another movie at the Tivoli. I really appreciate what they are trying to do and the support they got from the Nelson with the reopening. But this just really, unfortunately, misses the mark for the average person. I’m sure many wealthy, older people in town will still enjoy their experiences here.
c l: Saw the documentary Fantastic Fungi. Great to have a venue for smart, outside-the-mainstream films in Kansas City. Comfortable cloth seats, & a more intimate feel than a regular / chain movie theater. The Nelson-Atkins Museum has a free parking lot just to the north / towards the east, but it’s small, so was full because of the moviegoers, & I had to parallel park on a side street.
Stephanie Heiffus: I have now been to the Tivoli 3 times since it opened at the Nelson. I love the location; as a member the parking is free! While at first I thought the times were not the best for me, they have actually been perfect. My only wish is that you could take some water into the auditorium and that maybe some day they might make the seats a bit more comfortable. My boys & men are on the tall side and most of the seating is a squeeze. Otherwise it is perfect - thank you Jerry.
Joe Stanton: I loved Tivoli Cinema in Westport (except for those stairs!) and hated when it closed there. But for all who haven't heard yet, it is reborn at Nelson Atkins Art Museum. It is a new treasure-a phoenix risen from the ashes. Saw a movie there today and am thrilled with the new location and pleased to see a crowd. Yeah! I'll be back!
Mackenzie Brisben: This will forever and always be my fav theatre. Thank you for introducing me to Oscar shorts and having a cute voting system after. Thanks for always having Wes Anderson films and cool documentaries. Feels very retro and very cute. Love.
Evelyn Case: Whoohoo now @ the Nelson Gallery
travis black: Good
Justin Brownsfield: My favorite place for independent films.
Tim Phillips: Closed now!!!
Alex Marban: It's a real shame that this place is closing. Loved the menu
CJ: Fare thee well, Tivoli! You were a driving force for many years in forming my love of film.
Shá D.: Wonderful place for independent film. Sad it's closing. Streaming has made it difficult for the little guys and soon all theaters. In a few years, we'll all be forced to never leave home, and a night out or social interaction will be a thing of the past. As they about are now anyway due to smart phones.
Julian: One of the finest establishments in Kansas City history. It will be missed. Thank you for everything.
J. Micheal W.: Unfortunately, this Thursday will be just day for this theater -- it is closing. Sad. So many years in KC for independent films, etc.
Brent Bettis: Nice, nostalgic, not crowded.
Bryan Wohlwend: Love this theater. They play great art house and indie films you can’t find elsewhere in KC.
Diana Cuthbert: Excellent admission fee for seniors.

B&B Theatres Mainstreet KC at The Power & Light District: what do users think?
Mary M: Filthy bathrooms, dirty lobby. I miss Alamo Drafthouse.
Kemonie Mitchell: It was okay
Alec Fuhrman: Sweet.
Matt Rolfes: Best theater downtown
Hananiah Aldrich: This is DISGUSTING went to a 1:15pm showing and the bathrooms looked like this!! These are all different stalls btw! Sink overflowing…let’s not even talk about the NASTY toilet! Why is that door not shut and blocked off…must have been sitting like this for a long time! It is clear no one has cleaned in ages. How is this not a health code violation. Theatre 3 also has a dirty big line through the top left screen that was HIGHLY annoying when watching the movie. Also there was some darker scenes and I could hardly see! No detail in the blacks. I used to love going here when this was Alamo, but it has gone extremely down hill. I’ve had no complaints at other B&B theatre’s but this was absolutely terrible!!
Auggie Doggie: Very nice theater experience. Great seats and great screens and great location. The staff was engaging and the theater was very well kempt. Prices are what they are!
Ryan Robledo: One of the most beautiful movie theaters I’ve ever visited. The architecture is gorgeous (oldest movie theater in KC!), seats are very comfortable, the screens are huge, and the food is actually enjoyable. My one gripe would be that the audio does not stand up to the standards of more modern, IMAX-style places.Otherwise, I cannot recommend this place enough!
ali happer: i’ve seen movies at this theater for almost a decade - first when it was alamo & then when it became b&b. once b&b took over, I have never once been when there hasn’t been an issue with audio. usually it’s during their ads or previews before the movies, but today I went to see an action movie & felt like the sound was on 50%. as soon as the credits started rolling, it was like all of the speakers at the back of the the theater turned on & we had full surround sound. I just don’t understand how it happens every time, no matter which theater i’m in. it’s super annoying to go to a ‘large movie chain’ as they market & have so many audio issues.love the recliner & heated seats though.
Kat Hecker (Tits McGee): B&b Theatres is a chain of movie theaters that offers a great movie-going experience. One of the standout features of B&b Theatres is the comfortable seats with butt warmers. The butt warmers are a luxurious touch that adds to the overall experience of watching a movie in one of their theaters. The warmers keep you comfortable during the colder months and make for a cozy and enjoyable experience.Another great feature of B&b Theatres is the wide selection of movies that they offer. From the latest blockbusters to independent films, there is something for everyone. The theaters also offer special showings of classic films and other special events, which are a great way to enjoy a night out with friends or family. And of course, the butt warmers make it all the more enjoyable. In addition to the great selection of movies, B&b Theatres also offer delicious snacks and drinks. They have a wide variety of options, including popcorn, candy, and soda, as well as beer and wine for those who want to enjoy an adult beverage with their movie. You can enjoy your snacks and drinks in the comfort of your seat with the added luxury of the butt warmers.Another aspect that sets B&b Theatres apart from other movie theaters is their customer service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always go above and beyond to make sure that guests have an enjoyable experience. Whether it's helping you find your seat or answering your questions about the movie, the staff is always willing to help. And, of course, they will make sure to turn on the butt warmers for you if you ask.B&b Theatres also offer special amenities, such as 3D and IMAX showings, which take the movie experience to the next level. The theaters also have comfortable lounges where you can relax before or after your movie, as well as arcade games and other activities for kids and families. And, of course, you can enjoy all of these amenities while sitting in a comfortable seat with a butt warmer.Overall, B&b Theatres is a great destination for anyone who loves movies. The theaters offer a wide selection of movies, delicious snacks and drinks, excellent customer service, and special amenities that make for a great experience. And, of course, the added luxury of the butt warmers in every seat is the icing on the cake. Whether you are looking for a fun night out with friends or a family outing, B&b Theatres is definitely worth a visit.
James Symmonds: Trying to figure out what is going on with B&B theaters. They sink money into glitzy pre-movie ad but don't spend money on fixing their escalators or their app. Seriously, someone needs to go look at the reviews for their app in the Play Store.
Mel Hogan: Great when B&B first took over. Neglected and going downhill ever since. It’s obvious they care more about their suburban locations more.
RR R: Great staff
Seth Larson: I do not understand how some theaters in 2023 don’t care one bit about sound quality or video. I wanted to give this place a chance because I have fond memories of when it was Alamo drafthouse. They took away everything that made it cool and unique, and didn’t add anything to the experience. We won’t be back, but for your future patrons, learn how to mix the audio correctly so you can actually hear the score, and turn it way up at the minimum. And think about buying a projector that isn’t from 1998 for the “grand” screen
Holly Neri: Beautiful building
Teela Maxwell: I like this theater they have heated seats, reclining chairs, swivel tray top for food and xl screens. Ambiance is great. There's a bar connected that plays jazz most of the time.
teeba: I walked in and omggg the place was so beautiful. I went with my family and walked into a rated r movie thinking it would be fine for my 9 year old sister to come and watch with us. there were some explicit scenes. my mother was a little upset so we all left and asked if we could switch the movie we were going to watch and the person said we could but another one wasnt until 2 hrs . we asked for a refund and he happily gave it to us even though we were about 20-35 minutes in.
James Ballard: The theater was great. It was my first ever visit and won't be my last. The seating was comfortable. It was like relaxing on a sofa at home. I especially like the minimal seating. It didn't feel over crowded.
Liz Vargas: I had the worst experience at this place, the movie didnt have sound for a good 10 mins, they forgot, no previews, nothing at all, and on top of that, the food was terrible, I got sick.worst part, I email the company and i got no response, I am beyond disappointed I don't think I will go back
Jeremy Lawson: A not so hidden gem in downtown KC. The seats are comfy and I think they all recline and have heaters. For a downtown theater this slaps. Heck, just walk through the place to see the cool architecture and design of the historic building. If you’re taking the street car, it’s on the power and light stop, which is also right by this theater. They have a full bar and your typical food options as well. Many of the rooms are smaller so get your tickets online if you can. And be sure to come early or plan to stay after, if the jazz bar is open. It’s a great experience and many weekend nights they have live music.
nich H: Old but nice
Genevieve Tate: Went here on vacation and it was one of the highlights of my visit to KC!
