B&B Theatres KC Extreme Screen Union Station: what do users think?
PeaxhDreamz TM: Pretty great theater and respectful workers! Although I'd say if you don't do good with motion sickness too much I'd recommend sitting in the back
Aaron Kirby: 7 story screen and sound were incredible. Will definitely come back!
Keanu Whitfield: Hgëbnddfghhjklzñnnett typical act stop
Nicholas P: My favorite theater to watch a big summer movie. Limited number of titles at any one time, but they look great when they are there.
Theresa swank: Love this screen and the price
JoBeth Davis: Saw the new Mario movie with the grandkids, first time ever there, wonderful experience. Parked very close walked right in. It was so much fun.
Howard Cohen: Very nice theater with a huge screen and great audio. The seats were very comfortable too and the popcorn was hot and fresh. I dinged them 1 star because the snack bar was closed and they had a temporary table set up with very limited options. If the snack bar is open next time I'll update my post and give them back the star.
Scot Pendergraft: Largest screen in the midwest!! It's 4 stories tall, lots of seating and just remodeled the concession stand, plus it's in Union Station which is one of my absolute favorite places to be in Kansas city!
adam eisman: love the huge screen!
Ashley Jones: Comfortable seating
First Street Software.: Always a good experience, large screen, nice seats. Good prices for the movies, all concessions are outrageous as others now. So disappointing.
Deborah Peek: Clean, easy access, very good.
Tracy Thayer: No warning of temporary concession stand. No butter or salt for burnt popcorn. Guy at the counter was a complete jerk, too.
Donna Werner: Not a bad seat in the house.
vallie guillory: The big screen adds another dimension to great movies!
Susan Payne: HUGE screen. Very convenient for me to access in my wheelchair. Highly recommend catching a movie here when you can.
Maureen Kelly: Great space for a movie! You can almost be in the film
Jason Giesler: Had a great time watching Top Gun here. Great looking screen
Carlos Torres: $5 tickets to first run movies - un eatable deal. Great projection and sound, and cheap concessions that are just as high quality as regular theaters. Proce more than makes up for paying for parking. Awesome activoty to end a Science City day with, too.
Jeff S26: Screen is very big. People are packed in the seats, hard to get in and out to bathroom. Not clear we're to purchase tickets. Price of ticket was very fair.
Jeff Hamons: Great place to watch Top gun

B&B Theatres Mainstreet KC at The Power & Light District: what do users think?
Mary M: Filthy bathrooms, dirty lobby. I miss Alamo Drafthouse.
Kemonie Mitchell: It was okay
Alec Fuhrman: Sweet.
Matt Rolfes: Best theater downtown
Hananiah Aldrich: This is DISGUSTING went to a 1:15pm showing and the bathrooms looked like this!! These are all different stalls btw! Sink overflowing…let’s not even talk about the NASTY toilet! Why is that door not shut and blocked off…must have been sitting like this for a long time! It is clear no one has cleaned in ages. How is this not a health code violation. Theatre 3 also has a dirty big line through the top left screen that was HIGHLY annoying when watching the movie. Also there was some darker scenes and I could hardly see! No detail in the blacks. I used to love going here when this was Alamo, but it has gone extremely down hill. I’ve had no complaints at other B&B theatre’s but this was absolutely terrible!!
Auggie Doggie: Very nice theater experience. Great seats and great screens and great location. The staff was engaging and the theater was very well kempt. Prices are what they are!
Ryan Robledo: One of the most beautiful movie theaters I’ve ever visited. The architecture is gorgeous (oldest movie theater in KC!), seats are very comfortable, the screens are huge, and the food is actually enjoyable. My one gripe would be that the audio does not stand up to the standards of more modern, IMAX-style places.Otherwise, I cannot recommend this place enough!
ali happer: i’ve seen movies at this theater for almost a decade - first when it was alamo & then when it became b&b. once b&b took over, I have never once been when there hasn’t been an issue with audio. usually it’s during their ads or previews before the movies, but today I went to see an action movie & felt like the sound was on 50%. as soon as the credits started rolling, it was like all of the speakers at the back of the the theater turned on & we had full surround sound. I just don’t understand how it happens every time, no matter which theater i’m in. it’s super annoying to go to a ‘large movie chain’ as they market & have so many audio issues.love the recliner & heated seats though.
Kat Hecker (Tits McGee): B&b Theatres is a chain of movie theaters that offers a great movie-going experience. One of the standout features of B&b Theatres is the comfortable seats with butt warmers. The butt warmers are a luxurious touch that adds to the overall experience of watching a movie in one of their theaters. The warmers keep you comfortable during the colder months and make for a cozy and enjoyable experience.Another great feature of B&b Theatres is the wide selection of movies that they offer. From the latest blockbusters to independent films, there is something for everyone. The theaters also offer special showings of classic films and other special events, which are a great way to enjoy a night out with friends or family. And of course, the butt warmers make it all the more enjoyable. In addition to the great selection of movies, B&b Theatres also offer delicious snacks and drinks. They have a wide variety of options, including popcorn, candy, and soda, as well as beer and wine for those who want to enjoy an adult beverage with their movie. You can enjoy your snacks and drinks in the comfort of your seat with the added luxury of the butt warmers.Another aspect that sets B&b Theatres apart from other movie theaters is their customer service. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they always go above and beyond to make sure that guests have an enjoyable experience. Whether it's helping you find your seat or answering your questions about the movie, the staff is always willing to help. And, of course, they will make sure to turn on the butt warmers for you if you ask.B&b Theatres also offer special amenities, such as 3D and IMAX showings, which take the movie experience to the next level. The theaters also have comfortable lounges where you can relax before or after your movie, as well as arcade games and other activities for kids and families. And, of course, you can enjoy all of these amenities while sitting in a comfortable seat with a butt warmer.Overall, B&b Theatres is a great destination for anyone who loves movies. The theaters offer a wide selection of movies, delicious snacks and drinks, excellent customer service, and special amenities that make for a great experience. And, of course, the added luxury of the butt warmers in every seat is the icing on the cake. Whether you are looking for a fun night out with friends or a family outing, B&b Theatres is definitely worth a visit.
James Symmonds: Trying to figure out what is going on with B&B theaters. They sink money into glitzy pre-movie ad but don't spend money on fixing their escalators or their app. Seriously, someone needs to go look at the reviews for their app in the Play Store.
Mel Hogan: Great when B&B first took over. Neglected and going downhill ever since. It’s obvious they care more about their suburban locations more.
RR R: Great staff
Seth Larson: I do not understand how some theaters in 2023 don’t care one bit about sound quality or video. I wanted to give this place a chance because I have fond memories of when it was Alamo drafthouse. They took away everything that made it cool and unique, and didn’t add anything to the experience. We won’t be back, but for your future patrons, learn how to mix the audio correctly so you can actually hear the score, and turn it way up at the minimum. And think about buying a projector that isn’t from 1998 for the “grand” screen
Holly Neri: Beautiful building
Teela Maxwell: I like this theater they have heated seats, reclining chairs, swivel tray top for food and xl screens. Ambiance is great. There's a bar connected that plays jazz most of the time.
teeba: I walked in and omggg the place was so beautiful. I went with my family and walked into a rated r movie thinking it would be fine for my 9 year old sister to come and watch with us. there were some explicit scenes. my mother was a little upset so we all left and asked if we could switch the movie we were going to watch and the person said we could but another one wasnt until 2 hrs . we asked for a refund and he happily gave it to us even though we were about 20-35 minutes in.
James Ballard: The theater was great. It was my first ever visit and won't be my last. The seating was comfortable. It was like relaxing on a sofa at home. I especially like the minimal seating. It didn't feel over crowded.
Liz Vargas: I had the worst experience at this place, the movie didnt have sound for a good 10 mins, they forgot, no previews, nothing at all, and on top of that, the food was terrible, I got sick.worst part, I email the company and i got no response, I am beyond disappointed I don't think I will go back
Jeremy Lawson: A not so hidden gem in downtown KC. The seats are comfy and I think they all recline and have heaters. For a downtown theater this slaps. Heck, just walk through the place to see the cool architecture and design of the historic building. If you’re taking the street car, it’s on the power and light stop, which is also right by this theater. They have a full bar and your typical food options as well. Many of the rooms are smaller so get your tickets online if you can. And be sure to come early or plan to stay after, if the jazz bar is open. It’s a great experience and many weekend nights they have live music.
nich H: Old but nice
Genevieve Tate: Went here on vacation and it was one of the highlights of my visit to KC!

AMC Barrywoods 24: what do users think?
Kawana Coleman: Love it...
R P: Not bad
seemel8er creek: We use our stubs account to get discounts, which is nice. Prefer the earlier showtime to get cheaper tickets also. Concessions are expensive, but so is everything else I guess. Free refills help. Stubs rewards help pay for it. Immersive movie viewing experience. Reserving specific seating is nice. Employees are courteous and accommodating.
Chera Ruffino: Good prices and discounts online. Food prices suck. Popcorn and drink 18.00×5 people. Chairs are okay. Wish they had recliners. Excellent service and friendly staff working.
James Kendrick: Why do they charge more for the closer seats. I'm handicapped and sat in row J. The handicap seat where available. Do I need to pay more handicap seating?
Margaret Q: I was shocked to find out that AMC Barrywoods is going to host showings of the anti-human rights and right wing film titled "NO WAY BACK.” My son and I had just started enjoying returning to the theatres- but we will now be sticking to KC’s fine arts and Screenland theatres. Disgusting.
Mihir Patel: Nice and clean
Joey Shaw: Fun and entertaining. Great tasting popcorn.
Debbie Taulbee: We had the best time watching Mario today!
Sandy Hatfield: Is was great!
Lynnette Foulk: Easy to purchase tickets, nice employees, and since it is a little smaller it seems more cozy like the movies used to be but with upgraded electronic devices.
Erika Winston: I have to say, going to the movies has gotten expensive for my family. However, we do go for certain ones for the experience every now and again. This theater is always the one we go to. It's always clean and we always have a good experience.
rebecca belt: Great atmosphere
Alex Francis: Comfy chairs and the volume was great
JOSE SANCHEZ: Mucha sal para las corufas😜
Dustin Wilson: 3D was worth it!!
Real Estate Queen Dena Odom: Easy transaction. Consessions have shot up in prices
Dj Kappa: Not my first time here and will continue to go back.
John Anderson: Waiting in line to overpay for a drink, they have one cashier working. Then people from the 'A-list' got in line in front of us and had to wait 45 minutes in line.
Ubrneyedgurl67: We saw a free screening of Joy Ride, freaking hilarious. Will be out soon.
Steve Crockett: Not enough variation in shows for 24 screens but the place is well maintained and the service is fine. They have some fair and interesting food options and the fancy mix you own Coke soda machines.

B&B KC Northland 14: what do users think?
FullCircle Trucking: Great seats
Wendy Angelo: No complaints about the theater itself..just the concessions are so high...
Super Saiyan God of War: My favorite theatre in KCMO. Other theatres may have more amenities, bit this is the best bet for a comfortable family experience. Especially if you're a more introverted type of person.
Lisa Tracy: Good theatre, friendly staff. Glad to have a neighborhood theater to take the family.
Erich Messenger: Love this theatre
Max Taylor: Great theater. Staff are courteous and they keep the facility very clean
Adam Love: They have made updates to this place and the price and availability for movies is great.
Casey: Technical issues abound. Half our movie was plagued by "buffering" issues. Netflix runs better on dial up than this film did on a commercial projector. Besides the constant stuttering of the movie, it full on stopped multiple times and everytime we thought it was resolved, it would happen again. Multiple people walked out. This wasn't the experience I'd hoped for, especially after the actors in the film I went to see had a preview where they called us all heroes for coming in person to the theater... well, I don't think being a hero is worth a $6 water to watch something that would have played better on youtube.Edit: Well, B&B claims to have refunded my tickets, but theyre in the form of backstage pass points, which can only be used at the physical box office. I tried to reserve tickets online and can't use my points... so I tried to call in... well they don't have a phone anymore. The phone number just repeats the same message over and over.I'll try to use these points since I have them, but I cannot recommend B&B to anyone.
Jaime Kosam: B&B is the only theatre I will bring my family too. They are a wonderful faculty, great staff! Love it here!
Mark Woodson: Great atmosphere and never busy.
John F: 🍿 Very nice theatre experience!! Much better under B&B management 😀 We had a blast at B&B KC Northland 14, a family-owned multiscreen movie theater in Kansas City. The theater was clean and comfortable, with recliner seats and a full bar. The sound and picture quality were excellent, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I enjoyed watching the latest blockbuster on the big screen, and I also appreciated the variety of movies they offer, from action to comedy to retro. B&B KC Northland 14 is a great place to enjoy a movie night with friends or family. I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back!
Mary Sortland: Great local theater.
Ally Gordon: I extra love loved it. Amazing nice , the band was fantastic. 10 stars
Kornfed: Always have a great time with my brother at this theater. The new seats are larger, more feature packed, and very comfortable. The building is usually very clean. Screen size varies by which theater room you watch in so asking first will save you from any surprises.
Dan Grelinger: Love the Backstage Pass program. Going to this theater is always a good experience for us. Just reopened after their remodeling. Both sides open now. The only complaint is some theatres cost extra and if that's the movie time you want, you have to pay extra.
Stephanie Sumulong: One of the cleanest theaters I've ever been to! Concessions are similar to other theaters but the cashiers are extremely friendly. The seats are comfy and have seat warmers and recline, which makes your experience so nice.
Jeromy Magee: Give it a second chance. They're definitely spending a lot of money on massive upgrades to the facility.
Gregg Wolf: Friendly and nicely redone
William Tate II: Clean, comfortable, and quality set up. Glad this theater is close to home to get the comfy movie experience.
Luis Almodovar: Everything you want from the big places minus the crowd. The recliners were great and the quality of the theater was even better
Kawana Coleman: Great place, clean, quite, and good customer service.

Macabre Cinema Haunted House: what do users think?
Sasha Minx: We showed up on the last weekend of opening and it was closed. No signage or anything posted on the website. Others were a bit confused if they were closed or not as well. Well entry next year......
MrChris Beatty: Best place to get scared
Brendon Pride: I went on hollowween this year i had such a blast! I was definitely not let down by anything! The line was quick to get in! The workers where so good I walked out with bruises from getting so scared and running into somethings or falling down backwards! You know they did there job when you fall 100 times while going threw! I think they all deserve a pay raise or something! Good job to everyone involved!!
Reid Jolly: Weak. No action at all, but a lot of stairs.
Maagestic AF: Not many actors or jump scares. You kinda just walk through the haunted house looking at stuff not worth the price you pay, in my opinion.
Tracie Dillard: We went last night. Excited because we heard this was better than the beast. The beast is basically dark and not many actors or scares. Well this was just a walk threw. No one in the rooms. We were basically walking by ourselves. They did a good job in not backing up with people. We paid for an experience and didn't even get that. Not enough actors. Rooms were empty. We saw Jason and Freddie. The clowns were fun. Just very disappointed.
Jerri Johnson: Loved it
Kendo Sans: What it lacks is more energy in the work. Or maybe I'm just a bit older since then. I say it's still good, but I feel it could use a more modern twisted approach to them rooms.
Jade Michaelson: The scariest of all three by far favorite haunted house ever
Laressa Raley: Better than the edge of hell and beast!
Mary Cross: My better half took me here for my 1st ever haunted house I was scared every turn we made the actors was great got alot of screams outta me... Getting to figure out how to get outta some of the rooms was a task but we got it figured out..
Gene: Each room had scenes from your favorite horror movies. Pretty awesome set up.
Amanda Blair: My boyfriends favorite. All the movie scenes are great. It's not as popular as the other west bottoms houses but still just as great to me.
Anthony Batiste: Not qa good as previous years. Not enough people in each room to really scare ya
Jonathan Castillo: It is not completely dark like the beast or edge of hell intresting transition of sets and a spinning tunnel.
Peter D: Not as scary as The Beast or Edge of Hell, wish there was more classic films in the haunted house but you only saw characters such as Michael and Freddy for like 5 seconds. Overall not bad but if you went your moneys worth definitely go to the other two houses.
Betsy Morson: 5 stars because it’s amazing compared to haunted houses in other cities. However, it’s nowhere near as cool as the beast or edge of hell. We took our time and went through it in about 20 min. This one should be cheaper than the beast for sure. We still had fun and it was cute, not super scary though.
Kyle Goff: I want to start off this review by saying for one I don't do this often and two I do enjoy this haunted house. That being said I just went to the Macabre Cinema and The Beast this past weekend. I and my friends would rate the Beast about a 7/10. Solid haunted house. Macabre Cinema however would get a 2/10. I've been to the Macabre cinema multiple times since they opened back in the 00s and I always had a good time and even rated them better than the Beast and Edge of Hell. But this time was unfortunately different. We went through multiple rooms with no actors or anything. Just leisurely walked through the haunted house with minimal interaction with any "horror movie monsters". I know times are rough right now with hiring people but they should of known better than to open this up. I hope they get more people hired so people aren't wasting their time and money just walking thru an empty warehouse with decorations
Danielle Bunny: Worked here and have gone through here. Made awesome memories.
Jakub Bujak: super
Aaron N: Unfortunately not as good as it used to be. A lot of the neat parts that were there a few years ago were gone or disabled. Wayyyyy too many people in there at once, and often with flashlights on ruining the effect. It feels like a lot of cattle being pushed down the hallway of a less than interesting museum. That being said, the preformers were excellent, kudos to them and their hard work. The rest makes it not worth the multi-hour wait anymore though.
