Phil Dixon: On April 17th, I received a letter from the post office stating that my enclosed item was either found loose in the mail or damaged during handling by the Postal Service. Fortunately, I had kept my receipt from the 14200 E. 32nd st Location in Independence, MO. On April 28th, I went to the Truman branch and requested to resend my document that had been returned due to the damage. However, Jeff, the supervisor, not only refused to assist me but also showed disrespect by leaving in the middle of our conversation. Despite my efforts to obtain information on who he reported to, he refused to disclose any details. I am grateful to Teresa, an employee who overheard Jeff's disrespectful behavior and stepped in to help me. Overall, Jeff was willing to be confrontational and condescending over a $5.00 matter. Therefore, I strongly believe that Jeff should be fired immediately, and I appreciate Teresa's assistance during this ordeal. I would appreciate hearing back from Jeff's manager. Thank you

Mary Ann White: Yes this office is busy and the parking can be challenging. With that being said - the staff here is top notch. Today wasn't my first visit here - but my interaction with the clerk Fred at the office was so pleasant and he was kind/funny. Everyone has a positive attitude and that's what really counts.

Maxwell Krem: For starters, the front desk service is great. I have always found the staff personable and helpful, and they don’t give me any grief about helping with taping or stapling packages. The shipping materials they have are reasonably priced.Downsides: parking is pretty limited, and many people have to park on the street. There is almost always a line. Worst: the place is locked up at night if you want to buy stamps or use the automated postal machine.

The folder it came in said do not fold the delivery person folded it into my mailbox and creased it Destroying it. Ashley Cox: im thoroughly disappointed in the mail service, not the front desk but the delivery of products. they are specifically marked as fragile when sent out, but then arrive broken. 2 items out of 5 so far. waiting for the others to be delivered.
Becky Robinson Bates: I've never had a problem with those working the desk, but I have had consistent problems with the mail carriers. I get Informed Delivery, so I know what should be showing up in my mailbox every day. More often than not, I am receiving time sensitive documents that should be delivered to my neighbors or not getting my mail at all. It incredibly frustrating to have to mark my mail as undelivered though Informed Delivery multiple times a month.

Tonya Stanley: This woman that works there is awesome friendly nice just very pleasant over all.
Jason Pool: My carrier is a outright liar. He didnt deliver my package, and when I used tracking there was a animal interference reason left for failure to deliver. The timestamp was 1241pm, and I know for a fact that I had my dogs inside, no threat to any carrier, at that time. I made a point to make sure they would have no issue. The UPS guy delivered roughly 30mins later with no hassle. I am outraged by the bold faced lie, that jerk just had his mind made up in advance, clearly, that he was not delivering. Oh, and no instruction in the tracking message of how to get my delivery now. Really not a good business practice.

Jerushas toybox Spoiler of war: Easily the worst usps in the area, they don’t even try anymore. And even though online, and the sign on the door says they are open, they never are. You can show up in the morning not open, show up in the evening not open, show up on a weekend not open, show up on a weekday at noon still not open, they could tell you they’re for sure going to be open and you show up, you guessed it they’re not open. And before you even think of just dropping your mail in the drop box just know it will be 2-3 days before they even scan it in as picked up.
chzcake queen: Half the time I arrive, it's closed. Their lunch hour changes at whim and they close down entirely.I do NOT recommend unless you have time to waste.

That hasn't lived here for 2 years.We put does not live here anymore three days it comes back.Where else could you work and make $22 an hour and not perform the job correctly.Thank s to the mail lady who always gets it right.We need you everyday.

Trish Greathouse: This office is always closed no matter what time, I arrive. Ronald from USPS.com told me that all post offices are open 830 - 5 M-F and 8:30 - 1230 Sat. The Post Office does not even know what hours this location is opened! I have to drive into Independence to get any type of service, but the Independence office has no control over a Kansas City Post Office in regards to delivering mail. Oh, I have had to stop using mail service as this branch is so unreliable and mail getting lost so many times, I have had missed payments happen on Utility bills, car payments and such and the USPS does NOT care. My husband does not like using the internet to pay bills, but I have had to do this because of the USPS and have had fraud on my account twice since doing this. Thank you Post Office!!
Carolyn Shane: I am an online reseller and having a reliable post office location is vital to my business to make sure my orders get shipped out on time. This location is closest to me but it is just not worth trying to save the gas money by using this location instead of driving to another one because anything I have dropped in their outdoor drop box as well as their indoor drop box has taken 2+ days to get scanned to any location. It is literally in front of/within a USPS location and does not get scanned for two days (at least)? I just don't understand. I don't think they pick up orders from the outdoor drop box daily like the hours on the box state because the turn around time just takes way too long. The "hours" are ridiculous and I have never seen anyone inside the building before. There was one time that I have ever seen a USPS Delivery Truck and driver leaving the building. Save your time and go to the USPS location on Independence Square - I have had excellent service there every single time, even when it is busy. If I could give this location off Truman Road zero stars, I would. I don't see why they even keep it open honestly. There have been orders I dropped off at this location 4 days ago and they still have not been scanned according to the tracking information. I am a very unsatisfied customer!
