Kelly Semenick: We figured out right out the lift arrived at 9 am it we not big enough we called to get it swapped out and was told that it could happen I told the guy I had two techs on site the lift showed up at 3 pm at the end of the day so my guys stood around all day with nothing to do waiting I called twice and was told it was being delivered. I was even told it would be there by 1 PM. If it had gotten there even then they may have gotten something done. Now I have to reschedule this call and deal with a mad customer and pay extra money to get a lift back out there again. seriously thinking of looking at other options for next time.

Stephen Painter: Horrible business. The service people were great to work with and had a brain that they used. The office people were lacking in common sense and very little intelligence. Switched from another rental company to United. This lasted about 6 months. Switched back to the other company. Biggest problem, I would call and order a lift or call a lift off after I was done on a project and they office people looking at their computer screen and telling them my and my company name couldn't find me in the computer. And this was after renting probably 3-4 lifts from them. I only have one name and one company name. Lacked any customer service skills and common sense. No clue how they stay in business. Never use them again. Need to train their people to show people some respect and how to use a computer.

Adam Hawley: Wrote this email to the territory manager this morning.Hi Andrew,My name is Adam Hawley, and I have a story I wanted to share with you about my experience with your staff this week.I'm a busy guy, as I'm sure you are, and have been planning to do yard overseeding today for quite some time. Earlier this week, I called your store to reserve an overseeder. Although I live in Raymore, the phone tree routed me to Olathe. That's where I spoke to RJ, who helped me reserve a machine for a Friday pick up in the Belton store. She was SO great, I remember telling her "If everyone was as good at their job as you are, the world would be a better place."Fast forward to yesterday, I went to pick it up, and that's where things temporarily went downhill. Turns out, RJ accidentally booked the machine for me to pick up in Olathe, and someone had taken Belton's only working machine to the Olathe store! This was a huge wrench into my well made plan... I had no time to go get the machine in Olathe, and as you know, you're closed on the weekends.That's when Chrissi and Jerry jumped in to help me solve this problem. Jerry volunteered last night to go get the machine and bring it back to Belton. But yet again, I couldn't wait around for it last night due to a fundraising event I was supporting.That's when Chrissi helped me coordinate with Dennis to meet me this morning at 7am so that I could get the machine. Disaster averted!You should know that every single person I've worked with this week, RJ, Chrissi, Jerry, and Dennis, were unbelievably nice and helpful. All this for a $50 rental. I was so impressed I wanted to take the time to let you know.I run a small financial planning business, and I deeply understand the importance of a great team. Greg Warwick: Ordered a fork lift with 6' forks. It was confirmed a day earlier, but one with 4' forks was delivered to our job site, resulting in safety concerns for onloading a truck and inablity to perform the balance of time-critical work with the equipment. UR is working to resolve, but this was very dissapointing.

Dylan Stallings: The woman on the phone was nice and got my lift and trailer reserved. When my employee got there to pick up the trailer it had been rented out to someone else. I hooked up our company's trailer and drove there to pick up the lift myself. When I arrived it looked like there were other trailers they could have offered us. One guy drove the lift up on the trailer then went back to the break room to watch TV while I chained it down myself. I've had better service at other equipment rental shops including other United rental locations.

Randall Swetnam: The only minor problem was that there seemed to be some electronic connection problems in the control stick; it needed to be jiggled (just right) sometimes, to get it to engage. Other than that, everything went very well.

He arranged for me to pick up both devices at the Belton store, as it was closest to me. I always appreciate the excellent customer service provided by United Rentals, and the fact employees go the extra mile to help customers. The staff is always friendly and welcoming! You can tell they are treated well by their employer. My project went smoothly to drill / install new concrete anchors for my pool cover. Thank you!
