Jeff Haley: I ordered a street sweeper to be delivered on December 19th as our lots would be empty for a week. I received a call from the dispatcher on the 18th telling me it would arrive at 8:30am. At 8:45 on the 19th, I called and was told it would be there at 11. The driver showed up at 11:20 and unloaded the machine. He was very nice and tried his best to get it to work but it was a dud. Amy called and offered a larger machine for $1000 more a week but our P O system works so slow that by the time I issued a new one, break would be over. That is our fault, not Sunbelt's.At this point, not a big problem. Annoying but not terrible. Then ANDREW KOMER called. He called me 2 hours after we had closed interrupting dinner. I told him what my work hours were- he kept talking. I told him he was interrupting dinner-he kept talking. I treated him like any telemarketer calling during dinner and hung up. THEN THE TEXTS started. I explained what went wrong with the delivery. His response was not to take responsibility but to deflect and say it wasn't his location's problem. I called him back this morning during his business hours which, according to the sunbelt website, starts at 7am. I explained that he could talk to me now but he kept talking over me, called me a liar, saying I never told him that he was interrupting dinner. I did, but he did not shut his mouth long enough to hear me. After calling me a liar and a coward (twice), he hung up.I spent 14 years in the Marine Corps. Honesty and Integrity mean a lot. I will not tolerate being called a liar. Thanks to Mr. Komer, my company will NEVER do business with Sunbelt.The 2 stars are for the polite dispatcher and the very helpful delivery driver. They did their best.

Roger Keyes: I rented a Bobcat S130. They delivered and picked up. It was a little pricy ($230/day), but if you get it on Friday afternoon, you can use it all weekend and only be charged one day.These guys have mostly heavy equipment. Don't plan on picking anything up unless you have a 1-ton, or bigger, truck with 7-pin connection and at least class III towing capability. As them to deliver. They delivered to me for free because my trailer lights weren't working.

Richard Krantz: I went to gherkin needing to rent a mini skid steer to do some grading of a driveway and clean up work for a customer. I ran at the tx1000 dingo for Saturday and Sunday was not able to get the work done in those two days so I went ahead and rented it for the rest of the week I was able to use it for an additional four hours and then it started raining I was unable to use the machine the rest of the week that I paid for I called and talked to the manager to see if I could get some additional time to be able to use the machine for the job I need to get done I was told that I could keep the machine a little while longer on Saturday the day it was to be returned that will not give me the time I need to finish the job I paid just shy of $800 to rent this machine for a week and a trailer for a day. I'm a small business owner I run my own handyman service and to spend $800 to rent a machine and got not get the job done really hits me hard financially now I have to figure out how to get the job done without the finances to rent another machine I would not recommend this company to anyone that is trying to get his business off the ground. They were happy to take my money to rent the machine but we're unwilling to work with me in order to help me keep my schedule and get the job done with the machine I paid $800 to rent and only got a little over 8 hours of work out of it. I will not be renting from this company again and I will not recommend them to anyone in the future.

JAyD Ashley: Very horrible experience with this place rented jack hammer for bob cat it did not work properly guy said just keep messing with it no never worked right so i thought it was my bobcat that was the problem no it was not got another hammer and still had problems it worked but a bolt that holds plate on kept coming loose independence location would not work with me on price after I had problems for 3 and a haf hours I had guys on my clock costing me money very bad customer service so save yourself a headache and take your business elsewhere

Samuel Palm: Made a reservation two weeks out for a piece of equipment only to get their day of and say “oh we meant to call you. It’s still out on rent and we don’t know when it will be back.” I took a day off work to do this job and they can even give me a call to say it’s not happening? Unprofessional

Krystal Bergstrom: Boyfriend and I put a deposit down on a credit card for a trailer to rent and when we went to pick it up, the salesperson was hooking the trailer up to one of their “big customers” and told me, “sorry but we had to rent it to him because he’s a big customer.” We literally drove out of our way on our moving day and now I’m scrambling at the last minute to find another trailer to rent, all because sunbelt couldn’t hold up to their promises after We put a DEPOSIT down! Will NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! They clearly have no care in the world about regular consumer customers. Only the “big customers” get the attention and help.

Matt Christopher: Tje people there are nice and cheerfull. They had all my item ready and made sure I knew how to use it. I thought that was nice. I could of seen my wife going in and picking it up without even making sure she understand it. It is nice to know that they would make sure we understand it before giving it out .The paperwork was fast. I can't understand how others said it took a hour.
Josh C: Their trucks drive recklessly and cut people off. I wouldn’t trust them to manage a rental since they can’t manage to drive a car.

Aaron Mertz: We had a unique rental situation that Sunbelt in Lenexa handled beautifully! We rented a trailer in the morning and then needed them to drop of a different trailer in the afternoon at a separate location. There were some hiccups in locating the 2nd trailer, but Gavin worked tirelessly to find one. He ultimately drove to Leawood to pick it up and drop it off for us. They went above and beyond what would ever be expected. They had very reasonable pricing and EXCELLENT customer service! I would highly recommend using them for any rental needs.

John Dillman: Always takes forever to leave this place with a rental.all of the paperwork is already filed and it seems to be an hour minimum. They even forgot to have the trencher we rented two weeks in advance on site. Then tried to charge us for a delivery fee.
david saunders: Didn't have the "air mover" fan that we asked for when we called in advance. Nothing was ready when I got there, paperwork took forever. Concrete saw worked good though.

erik ragan: Quickly unloaded and got me back on the road
Nina Marie: Horrible branch , they have their employees working In unsafe conditions , they don't even supply cups for employees who are out on the heat all day. The manager drains hazardous stuff in the creek that runs behind their building.. The manager has also been reported for racial comments to employee's & hes still employed. They need OSHA called on them for not doing safety inspections on anything. I think this branch would be a whole lot better of they got rid of management.

mdcoram: I went there to rent a 50' drain auger and the guy behind the counter convinced me the 25' model would be long enough. Unfortunately it didn't quite reach the clog. We ended up hiring a plumber who said the clog was 28' away. Next time I'll just hire the plumber first.
