Shannon Calegari: I loved the Brookside location and love the spices. There was at least parking. I went to your new location yesterday and could not find parking after 10 minutes, between the traffic and the parking I will not go back. I will be ordering online going forward.

Mary Buxbaum: A lovely shop, filled with all kinds of spices both familiar and exotic. Spices can be purchased in bulk for whatever amount you need. Some fun things: a variety of sugar mixtures, vanilla extract kits (got one!), and a nice selection of barbecue sauces that are not all the typical KC kind. Plus, there are many opportunities for sampling the different spices. The store owner is welcoming and very helpful. A recommended visit if you're in the Brookside area -- or just a special trip!

Michelle Herbert: I love this store. I never new the difference between spices from the grocery store and Penzeys Spices hands down no comparison. I love the owners sales and his writings. I feel the exact same way about kindness and treating people with respect. I have a beautiful blanket from this store. Someone turned my name in because I needed an extra hug and they sent me a blanket. Such a wonderful shop.

Lloyd Jasper: Located in a food court type area in the crown center, has a relatively limited menu of typical barbecued meat and sides. Cheesy potatoes were ok but baked beans were quite good. The meat was done nicely. Worthwhile stop. I absolutely loved this place. I liked what they offered for sides! Three Little Pigs fed the 5k finishers of the hospital hill run on a Friday evening. On Saturday after the half marathon, my friend and I went and ate at the restaurant (inside the mall area) Again, love love love!!!

They might have won awards but they are not serving that award winning food in their restaurant. They got an extra star because their burnt ends atleast had a soft texture and weren't tough. The server on 4/12/19 was visibly high on meth. She couldn't stop moving and was out of her mind.
Tim Farwell: Ribs not tender at all, possibly from previous days. Cheesy potatoes not edible. Baked beans and brisket very good. This will be a one time, last time.

I contacted them within the 24 hours after I got them and was promised that they would be replaced. Ha ha nothing was ever done on their parts to refullfill what was broken. We were so excited to see the package on our doorstep this morning, a few days after ordering on line! The packaging was done so well, that nothing was damaged in transport! Kevin Bosworth: I always like going there. However the retail store is now only open Fridays and Saturdays. They usually have cheap trial run sauces. This time they hardly had any. They had some good name brand sauces, which I got some of, but I like trying other things.

Armita: One of my absolute favorite middle-astern store in town. The owner and the girl are always helpful. They ask if I need help every time I go there. They also even offer to help take the bags to my car when I have a lot of stuff. Best service ever.They also have many Sadaf Products. And my absolute favorite, the Persian ice cream and the Lahichani Koloche!!!! The products are always fresh. I get my cucumbers often from this store too. The prices are also reasonable.During my recent visit, there was a Persian book by the counter, when I ask for the price, they gave it to me for free. Such an amazing gesture!!
Dominique Weismiller: Shahrazad International Market has an amazing array of Middle Eastern goods. The aisles are pretty narrow but everything was clean and organized well. I got carrot preserves, cherry preserves, fig preserves, lupini beans, olives, and several other goods. Everything so far has been delicious and fairly inexpensive for imported items. When I visit next I want to spend more time browsing the in-house candy section. The owner(?) was also very friendly and polite and helped me to choose an appropriate cookie for an upcoming road trip. I'll be going back to Shahrazad International Market very, very soon!

The young woman working as cashier was alone, so I told her to take care of other customers before getting my fish. Two other young men as customers were glad to wait a minute for me to get my fish. Everyone was courteous and lovely. The store was well organized, clean, and had a large selection of products. I will definitely return! I recommend this store to anyone who likes Mediterranean, Middle Eastern cuisine, you can get halal products here too. I got some goat cheese and canned Moroccan sardines. with hot pepper. Many seasonings, just a delightful place.
