I always prefer to buy and support local (instead of that big A company) and am happy that I can find almost everything here. If you’re looking for a bonafide selection of trusted companies for your vitamins, minerals, supplements, come here! I also found some new snacks that are delicious. They have a huge selection of jerky and meat sticks, too.

Boo Boo: Don't go to this store. They have super long self checkout lines and need to open more self checkouts. Also, their main aisle is too crowded with bakery tables. It's too exhausting shopping there anymore. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else, but keep going there if you love super long self checkout lanes and a crowded main aisle to even get to the long checkout lines. Some rude employees too. This store isn't worth it. Also higher prices than other stores, even with the cost of goods and inflation. Go buy your grocery list at another store this week and you will see the difference in your grocery bill. Hyvee is called Hy (high) vee for a reason!!

Sarah Rowe: If you need florals done, don't go to HyVee. Their arrangements are horrible and not worth what they charge. If you are ordering fresh boutiques and old boutiques are delivered with rotten water, that's a sign. Stay clear!
Stephanie Smith: I had a large delivery order misdelivered. Received someone else's large order, they received mine I am assuming. I asked the employee over the phone if they delivered the order that was sitting on my porch for near an hour to the other customer, and she told me Don't worry, they checked through the order and replaced anything that felt warm. I talked to a manager about this, and was completely disregarded. This is unsafe food handling, and is very concerning. Both orders should have been reshopped. I don't trust food that has been in another customers care. And I don't want my groceries sitting out that long.Called corporate, they said they would find out what happened and get back to me with a solution in 24 to 48 hours. It has been almost a week and I have heard nothing. This was a $170 order, and the other customers order was even larger.This entire situation is very disappointing. I will not shop there again.

HOPE MICHELLE: I used to enjoy shopping at this location but it's gone downhill like the other locations around the city. Either they don't have enough product to restock or don't have employees doing the restocking on sale items. They are running a Fri-Sun sale, went shopping at 6:30 this morning and majority of sale items were out of stock! Should just call it a Friday half day sale! The quality of their produce has been declining while their prices are going up. Just not seeing the benefits of shopping here much anymore. And I don't see the point in having several self checkout lanes if only one out of 5 or 6 is available. Either put more than one cashier at the registers or make more than one self checkout available.

Natalie Winters: Great place if you want healthy smoothies or parfait for breakfast or lunch. Berry Banana smooth was my favorite, but $9.50 was a little pricey for me. PB&J parfait was affordable and can be a great meal substitute. Clean, fast service, and spacious place.

This isn't a fast stop unless you buy pre made juice out of the cooler.Speaking of pre mades, their point of sell system tries to get you to tip when you pick something up from the fridge yourself. That's not a great customer experience and it also makes me worry they aren't paying staff adequately.

David Van Gelder: Great first experience with Nekter Juice Bar. Found it on Google maps using “smoothies near me”. Being from out of town, Google offered an easy 5-minute walk from Raphael Hotel and safety was not a concern. Nekter was impeccably clean, folks were nice, and smoothie was outstanding. I’ll be back!

I spoke with Regina and explained my situation and what I wanted. I asked if a picture could be sent to me after the arrangement was completed, since I would not be able to attend the funeral. She said that would be no problem. Today, I got the picture as promised. I am so happy with not only the arrangement but with the customer service that I received. I didn’t know which soggy bag of lettuce I wanted so he decided to sigh and tap his fingers on the boxes he was stocking, until I moved out of his way. Even though his entire cart was taking up a majority of the space to which I had to move around twice just to see the selections.I decided from the pressure of his tapping to just leave the store. Hire more emotionally stable people. He made it seem like I inconvenienced his space while I just entered the store to grab two items.

If you can't beat their prices there's something definitely wrong. You have aged buildings, less costly employees and less selection so it's not like you're over your head in overhead. Drop your prices and watch the average middle class families struggling to get by spend their food dollars at your stores instead of SkyHyVee.I like Mckeever's Price Chopper but I think you need to sharpen the edge of that Chopper before those prices get out of hand.

I will say, they could use some training for their cashiers and baggers. I’ve had them bag fresh fruit with raw meat and I’ve had cans stacked in my cart on top of noodles and bread. Big no nos for front end customer service.

Joke was clearly on me 😭Also, girl at counter that day def seemed annoyed, like she didn’t even want to be there and wasn’t helpful at all, even when I mentioned I was just passing through, on my 37hr minimum road trip across the country, Pittsburgh-LA. Some guidance for a first timer would have been appreciated, as the menu doesn’t exactly give PRICES so I was kinda left to make choices unknowingly. Like, I specifically routed to this little city to come to this place..so that wasn’t pleasant either. Low key though: get a freaking menu with prices please, bc I’m not tryna buy 3/4 $12 drinks that taste horrible ever again.
