Danny Stevens: My unit was broken into here. It was a unit inside the building which made it worse. Management is no help. It has been two weeks and I am still waiting to hear if it was caught on camera. The manager looks and acts like a thug, so I shouldn't be surprised.
megan harness: Office is locked and no one is in the office at 10:15 when the office hours are open at 9:30. Bad attitude from property manager like I was bothering him when asked to unlock a unit so I can clean it out. Couldn’t get ahold of him because he didn’t have a mobile phone. When I got through to the customer service rep, she was extremely rude and hung up on me. Horribly run business!!

Lisa Voyles: I hope no one has to go through what we have. We were lured into a false sense of security by all of the security measures we see at this location. But, it was all for show, I guess. Someone (probably more than one) broke into our unit and stole from us. No one has offered to go through the security cams, they haven't even reached out to us. We notified them and they have done nothing. We left messages, sent messages through the app and... nothing. We have filled a claim with insurance, the police have been notified. But, they've had a serious beach in their so-called security. It is NOT a safe/secure place to store your things. Find somewhere safer where competent people care and actively help resolve problems. Our belongings weren't safe, your belongings won't be safe. I do NOT recommend this business. You'll pay to have your stuff stolen.

Darla Weaver: First day of rental they have no carts so we had to hand carry everything up an elevator and down 2 long corridors. First payment is taken off my card 1 week after renting unit. No explanation of the charge. So I tried through the app leaving 3 messages over the course of the month, nobody bothered to get back with me. I called the manager, she had no idea what the charge was, by this time they have added a $20 late fee to my account. I had to sit on hold for over 30 min to be told that this was a prorated charge. Come to find out they were able to tell this at the unit site I didn't have to wait on hold for over 30 min. Now they won't take the late fee off, I would not have been late if the manager had bothered to tell me why money was taken from my card. I do not agree with this at all! Terrible!I am a very unhappy customer!If you rent here don't do auto pay. I learned the hard way!

Calvin Shumaker: Rented a space. Lady was helpful in terms of helping me get best value but the service left something to be desired. First remedied me a space that was occupied with a tamper tag. Then took way too long to get me moved. Then my access code didn't work. Price is low but I'm sure I'll still eventually move.

Briannica Powell: Raises price nearly twice a year. I'd rather sell my belongings. I've had my storage since mid 2021. Prices went up twice a year and I am now paying close to $1000 more a year for the same unit. Don't think this storage is worth the constant bi-yearly increase.
igor golovan: Please be aware that the storage unit 10*10 has a 4 foot door . And it’s a terrible incline here , and two cars do not fit in the driveway . Pretty much the worst storage facility I have ever been to .

Bradley Steele: Worst Customer service. I had a unit here for about 3 weeks and all of my belongings were stolen along with them breaking my couch. Jennifer gave very little to no help. Very suspicious place. They got into my unit from a "vacant" unit next to mine that had a lock on it. She then was wanting a warrant vs caring about the fact that her facility lacks security and a customers items where stolen. Something is off about this place and way to many people have stated there stuff goes missing. I would not trust leaving anything here

Tony Turley: Due to a particularly hectic period I opened a 5x10 online and then let my account lapse without occupying the space. The attendant was outstanding working with me and helping me to realize I actually needed a 10x10. She was so patient and terrific. I so appreciate her help. Keeper!

Haven Rodriguez-Caudillo: There have been a couple of things. 1) Mold and it really affects my asthma and itson quite of bit of my belongings. 2) Spiders galore, they have basically infested all my stuff. 3) The management isn't here. I have only needed to help pay the rent a couple of time and each of those times without fail I've had an issue. This is not we want to spend $225 for.
David Hodge: Don't do it - you'll be sorry! The facility presents as a hot mess and lives up to that expectation in every sense. To top it off, if you pay your bill on time they will absolutely turn you in to collection agency, even when you have correct paperwork. Between the half reared management and the half reared facility, you will regret every moment you spend and every hard earned dollar wasted. Period. Mic drop

And it took almost 1 hour just to get help and they still refused to take her pay (idk why) but thin the lady that finally came out wasn't nice and almost crashed a cart. I liked the other place near Noland.

No empathy or compassion. If it wasn’t such a pain I would remove my belongings and find a more reasonable and customer friendly option!!

Rachelle Sandoval: The place has multiple breakins all the time the property is full of trash and the property manager is rude , and if you rent a space. Don't expect to have any power in your unit , and if there's trash any were near your unit because of somebody else's laziness you might get a 280 dollar charge on your account and then they evicted mee after paying a 500 dollar bill to them , and the district manager isnt any better because he's the one who calls the shots and if you message him he will not respond to you I don't recommend renting a space there
Emily Truster: I have rented with public storage for 2 years and today go by there to access my storage and it's 5 o'clock PM and I cannot get into the building where my storage is. There's a message that references after hours access so I called it and was advised that many storage units are now not accessible after 5 PM on the weekends and 6 PM during the weekdays . I cannot believe that public storage would change their access hours without alerting their customers and expect us to be OK with not being able to get into our storage units except during office hours
Shawn Marquez: Moved my friends belongings here, for their move to Noland Rd home. Liked their long storage locker, and put stuff along each side, and you could still drive a small car through, as it has doors at each end. Nice woman up front got them checked in.
Michael Wilson: Ms. Christi Management at 31st street location was kind, pleasant, and very professional renting myself a unit, I'll say your facility in Independence has one of the courteous staff I've been fortunate to have met.

Brenna Flores: Our camper was stolen from this storage facility. We were informed our plates were found on a stolen car by the police. We contacted the facility to check on our camper. The manager assured us our camper was not stolen, still in the storage facility with no damage to it. 2 weeks later we find out this information was incorrect. Our camper was in fact stolen. The manager did not check our assigned parking spot. Just seen a same brand camper completely on the other side of where our parking spot is. When asked to check the security cameras- we were informed they can only go 2 weeks back. Conveniently that is when we were informed of the stolen plates.

After getting everything situated out. She saw how destroyed I was she came around and gave me a hug she said every body needs a hug some time. And I sertinly I needed it. I leftout feeling so much better because she understood what I was going through. This is a great storage to use . They are there for you and heart-felt kind.

Circle M Western: It snowed last night.. its currently melting there storage facility is closed ever since the new manager has taken over if your a business don't store anything here you will be locked out and cant get to your tools..every isle is melted but of course it's almost 10 30 and no manager on duty I believe theses new rules are in place to accommodate the on-site management hrs half the time she got the fro t office closed and is doing personal projects in the office. It's not about the customer at this business
Mark Kerr: This is an very secure location. There are several layers of security. The prices are comparable with other facilities with much less security. Ownership is local and takes pride in its upkeep.It’s still that way 4+ years later.

Melanie Edens: We were just notified via text an hour ago our unit was broken into. They put a new lock on it but didn't contact police. When we got there several units had obviously had locks cut. We had items stolen. We tried to call customer service but they don't have any option to talk to a human after 7pm even in situations like this. We are currently waiting on the police to file a report. All I am going to say is we will be moving our stuff as soon as we find a new facility.

AND I saw a freakin bug scampering around the floor today. I don't have bugs, and I better not have any when I take my stuff out!
Shawn Morris: So....we were behind on our unit payments and our unit was scheduled for auction. 2 weeks before the auction date the unit was paid in full and we were giving access to the facility again. When we pulled up to the unit we realized our lock was gone and replaced by red overlock. We had a code for the overlock but it did not work and I called customer service and they gave me the right code.upon entering the unit we realized we were missing a large bag of tools and a guitar that belonged to my father who passed away last year. I know that it had to be a red dot employee who took the items becouse it was their lock on my unit. I called customer service and they would not let me speak to a supervisor and refuse to replace my expensive lock that was on my unit. If you value your stuff do not use this company. They are thieves and liars. And your stuff is not safe here EVER.

I am an Over The Road Truck Driver and I had a friend go pick up my camper. Just to find out that it had been stolen. Called the facility and all they told me was sorry for my loss. THIS IS NOT A SECURED FACILITY. Money speaks louder than words and I will never go with Red Dot storage. I spoke with customer service and they told me that my unit had been empty since March. They knew my unit was vacant since March, but didn't tell me. They did not reimburse me or anything. DO NOT STORE ANYTHING AT A RED DOT LOCATION.

A A: Worst place to rent from and accuse people for things that they in fact did not do saying they were on video seen after hours entering with a code and seen entering the units that were already broken into before that day and when asked to see the proof they would not provide it to be seen.(You can NOT get in after hours but if you are in there and it closes you can still exit anyone that rents from there knows that)People try to help and do a good deed to share with the office but get called a thief and evicted and have been renting from this facility for a year paying on time every month and just happen to be at their unit taking pics of stuff that needed listed and lost track of time and ended up exiting the facility after hours which was like I said after the thief already did their damage. But the office wouldn't had know if it weren't for individuals letting them know. Place is not worth my money and will never get any more money or recommendations from me. Never anyone on sight if there were something needed and I'm shocked it hasn't been broken into more than what it has already been.I was worried every time I went to check my unit if mine would be OK or not. I work way to hard to get the stuff I have and give to anyone in need for it to be stolen and I'm sure many others are the same with their belongings.Want a good storage place go use the one on the outer road by susquehanna animal clinic, Independence U-Store it, someone is on sight 24/7 and good security system and much much nicer facility and units. Red Dot is Crooked as the thieves that keep breaking in there.

Victoria: Advertised as 24/7. Call the number it says open till 8. Website says closes at 7. Its 6:30 and I'm locked out again. Ridiculous overpriced and false advertisement.
Matthew Ronkoski: Has gone downhill after being acquired by Red Dot. Rates have more than doubled in the last 3 years, no longer have anyone on site, and all you need to know about their customer service is look at how they copy-pasted the same exact replies to a handful of comments a year ago.
Danielle Lazenby: Storage unit has been broken into many times, gate is supposed to be entered with a code but is left open, even overnight. Unit has also gotten wet inside several times and last time we went there were several dead mice inside.

TONI KAY: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!! 1st of all their advertising is a Scam! They ARE NOT accessible 24 hours a day. They don’t let you in after 8. They get away with this because they have no office so no human there to here about problems. Their units get robbed all the time and half the time the gate is broken and when you call customer service they tell you they are sorry!! Again they are not 24/7 except to take your money they will even let you pay at kiosk thinking you can move your stuff right in then when u try to get in it says it’s past hours!! These people need to be dealt with. They are crooked as they come.
