Mill Creek Park Tennis Courts: what do users think?
Jacob Miller: So nice
jose mendoza: They should make this tennis court a basketball court
Lupe Moe: l
Curtis Jewett: Best thing here is the bathroom 3 had to poo
ObsidianJaxx: Great area to play just wish the courts were kept better.
Joseph McQuillan: Alot of courts out of the way quit
Dan-O The Mad Scientist: It was good, but the trash cans were over flowing, there was a junk bicycle by the bathroom and new graffiti on the out building...if you can ignore that....it was a great place!
Kimberly Matlock: Quiet place
Kent Medina: I’ve never played tennis here, but the city did replace these courts a few years ago. Other than that, nice looking little park and nice little trail to run or bike that goes down to McCoy. These courts aren’t directly connected to the main park.

Deborah Guillemot Scarritt: Very nice park. Picnic area very nice
Wynona Johnson (Annie): I just go sit and just think about things
tilease sims: I love this place. My daughter love this place so much
C.J Miser: Plenty of things to do for all ages! There's horseshoes for adults and plenty of playground the children!Playground: There's enough playground for kids to play and burn energyRestrooms: They have restroomsDog-friendliness: Dis are welcome too
Darrell Bunger: Playground: Lots of kids laughing and having fun times, enjoyed itRestrooms: Your standard ol park restroom, about as clean as one could hope for.Dog-friendliness: Leashes required and poop pickup required but our furry friends are welcome if you're responsible enough to clean up after them and keep them leashed. Obviously if your pet has issues with children then don't chance it. There's always lots of kids playing and having fun.Picnic area: Chess tables, not a lot of room for it there but there's lots O grass area though. Also a fun sprinkler area for hot months, kids and adults alike enjoy it.
Will McIntyre: Good for family and good for picnic, lot of neat stuff for the kids other than that there's a lot of bums that you might have to watch out for
Patricia Golding: I have lived in Independence,Mo. most of my life. My grand children have played there, been to the water park and many birthday's celebrated there. Now I will have the scenic view over looking my balcony everyday of this beautiful park to enjoy.
Troy Rabinowitz: Beautiful and just things that you don't see it other.parks.
Brent Whitesell: Great place to throw horse shoes
Linda Pulley: I took my dogs there and felt safe. People and kids were around. Plus, there is a fire station right at the park.
Asch-Lee Patricia Butts: Kids love going here. Some of the equipment needs to be repaired, but otherwise we're happy there.Playground: Areas for all ages, little and big kids.Restrooms: Open during the summer, but I wish it was during the rest of the year and more central to both areas.
Myles Awaye: Back in the 1990's a body was found deep in the sand that the authorities determined was there since at least the early 1980's.Good Ole' Independence.
Jessica Richardson: I had a gender reveal party and the shelter was available. We were able to carry out the part without any distractions and we were not bothered. However the restrooms were locked and no restroom available. I understand why they may be closed but makes for a long party with no restroom and should have checked that first for the guests. They were able to use restrooms across the street but had to walk a bit.
Lisa Milligan: Great playground for toddlers, next to a beautiful playground for a bit older kids. Some of the slides in the older kid's playground ended too high off the ground.
Jennifer Marie Murcia: Love it 😍
Sam Kingsley: If you want a fun park for old and young kids alike, come to this park! It has an attached splash pad that my kids love during the summertime! It has a wide open surrounding area, which helps to keep kids safe, and makes it quite lovely in overall appearance. We picnic here often. They have horseshoe games here. I've seen people play, but have never joined them myself.
Miranda Martinez: My granddaughters all love this park! They beg me to take them every time they come over, reguardless of weather. Very clean, and populated most of the warmer months.
Robert Perez: Ahh,just waiting for spring to begin….and a HiBoy hamburger to munch on!
Joseph Maya: The restrooms are always locked.
Ja'Net King: Great place to bring the kiddos to let them get their energy out. Lots for them to do.Playground: Playground is fantastic! Super fun for not only the children but adults who are kids at heart.Picnic area: Plenty of space to sit and be
Maryjane MCluvin: Love the parks

Mill Creek Park: what do users think?
Donna Bixler: It's a very nice ballpark with concessions. Restrooms eye clean and the kids had a great time on the playground equipment!Playground: Plenty to do and benches to sit with the kiddos.Restrooms: Clean.
Kenneth Figgins: Great Park for trails and sports plenty of fields. Not much for the smaller kids but there is a little obstacle course/playground the boys enjoyed.
Hannah Collison: I love this park. Off in a neighborhood so it tends to be quieter and not as crowded. One playground feels perfect for my 2 year old to play. Plenty of space if you have a nature kid and there are picnic tables to use as well. Nearby bathrooms are a plus too! My girls love this playground.
John Miller: This park is a hidden jewel
Debbie Daniels: I love going up here but people are so nice friendly and very helpful and they call you by name they know
David Mascho: Bathrooms are closed for the winter and all the shelters were packed with homeless
Heather Cooley: One of the better parks in Independence
Charlene Jameson: Lovely park- we were there for a bday party will definitely visit again.
Daryl Jone s: Fun place to take the kids.
mario angel Barreras: Excelente...increible
Ny. Walker: This is a nice park...it is not used enough... Great shady🌳area for the kids to play.... or if you prefer fun in the sun...🌞.....there is also a nearby play area where you get full 🌞..
Frank Galvan: Very well maintained. Awesome shelter house. Plenty of space for my large family gathering. Will definitely use again for having family gatherings.
Bill 816 Magnet Fishing and Urban Exploring: A very nice park for a family reunion or a graduation party etc nice playground could do a little better on the nasty restroom though
Edwin Reece: The area is nicely kept up. There are shelter houses to rent. There are multiple ball fields. There is also tennis courts. Plenty of parking.Playground: They have a really nice playground. Lots of activities.Dog-friendliness: While there may not be a specific area for dogs, we went into one of the ball fields that wasn't in use and was able to close the gates and let the dogs run free.
Robin Reece: Enough space that even a super loud group at the shelter didn't annoy:)
Greg Beatty: Easy access to all fields. Concessions are not consistently available.
Stephanie Duffey: Mill Creek Park is a not so hidden gem. It's usually clean but bathroom are locked.
James Poli: No lights at night
Janice Fortney: Nice neighborhood park. Friend and I socially distanced on a park bench and had a good chat after out walk.
Nina Porter: Great place for kids to play! Just wished the bathrooms were open in more than just the summer.
Shelby Vermillion: When calling independence public works to rent a shelter I was told the park was right next to shelter 2 (which was the only shelter they had available. The park is 150 yards away... when we arrived there was a strong smell of urine and a wet spot in the parking lot. Someone had taken a pee right there, couldn't even go in the grass. The shelter was a good size with plenty of room and tables I cannot complain about that. But the shelter was also very dirty. Trash was everywhere and the structure itself was disgusting. After the birthday party we walked the 150 yards away to the park. Which is small but has a jungle gym, slides, and swings. It seemed decently clean but the swings had such deep rivets from kids playing that my tall 5 year old couldn't even get on by themselves.

EPIC Sports Lodge: what do users think?
Andy I: Great pickleball courts
Sheila Garcia: Love the courts. Great place
Mathias Holm: Great spot for some indoor and I can’t wait for the pickle all courts to open! Extremely friendly staff.
Fred Reichert: Good location for indoor soccer with adult beverages. It Just needs more seating for tournaments.
Jameson Nunn: Great place for indoor soccer. They have leagues you can sign up for. Also perfect for kids sports. Basketball & Volleyball. All kinds of sign-up information. Shodan Solutions is also here, you can learn Aikido and self defense. They also have a VR gaming business you can check out. It's pretty cool.
Glynnis Nava: My kids have played indoor here for years!! Great place
Michelle Bernard: Good indoor just a bit dated but clean
Jessica Cortes: Nice complex
Salomon Pelico: Jenial
Tony & Astrid Shay: We came for pick up soccer. Monday-Thursday 1-5pm. Really nice facilities. Only $5 a person. Waiver required for EVERY person who sets foot in a field or court. Clean. The picnic tables were a great touch as we “camped out” for a bit. They have facilities to rent as well. Personable front staff.
Chris Colner: Facilities are super skinny for indoor fields. Kyle is absolutely not the person that should be in charge of any league. He is very very unorganized and does not communicate well. He has parents sign waivers that protect his business but then will not train officials to protect kids on the field. I had signed up for u10 coed, we played against kids well older. If you are a coach looking for a league for your team I would not suggest epic sports center. Just so everyone that reads this understands, I'm not complaining because my team lost. My team got first place. I'm complaining about management, referee's, and concerned for kids safety. My daughter got pushed into wall while playing and hit head first. While multiple other kids got hurt while playing.
Terry Jones: SPORTS!!!
Linda Anderson: Would be great place if they had a place of comphart for disabled people to watch or even lounge while family is playing , great place for kids to get excessive and have fun meeting other kids
Sharon Holmes: This place js awesome! The management staff is very professional and flexible! I rented thier event place for a party and it was super easy and convenient! We had an extraordinary experience!!!!
Nichole K: Nice place for indoor sports
RedBullKC: Wow! Incredible facility for all tucked away and barely noticeable! 👏 It's amazing once you walk thru those doors not knowing what to expect! Numerous businesses before you reach the basketball courts 🏀 , a vast selection and nicely constructed food court, then the practice soccer ⚽️ fields! Impressive! What an asset to the community and the kids to develop and seek their dreams as athletes! Great job to all!
Nicky Breeze: Carly is very professional and rocks at her job.
Ruthie Becker: Enjoyed this venue, very easy to get around and decent seating. We were here for my boy's I9 basketball and he enjoyed the game and his coaches. 🙂
lora clymore: Here for a our bday party and no one is here to open the building. Sad birthday boy
Marcus Koch: Fun place to meet with family and friends!
Travis BOWMAN: Awesome place to take your family and have a pleasant experience
