Vernon Scoville: Hello, I am a below the knee amputee. When I first had my amputation I went to another company. What a disappointment. The place was a dump, no written instructions and appointments were hard to get. Even when my socket hurt like hell I had to wait sometimes 2 weeks.Then a friend recommended HOPE. What a difference and I mean a wonderful experience. I first met Cathy and Cheryl at the front desk. They were very very nice and concerned for my health and adjustment to a prosthetic. These two persons were so nice I felt better just talking to them. The best part was meeting Natalie. She is my prosthetic expert.She immediately saw I was in pain and immediately readjusted my socket to cure the pain. Unless you have had this pain, you have no idea.She then became a teacher and explained how a socket worked and how to properly insert my below the knee stump into the socket. Appointments are easy and if Natalie is not present than another person is assigned and you get immediate same day service. Back to Natalie, I can not say enough good about this lady. Really she is a jewel. I have no pain and walk like I did before the amputation. The office is well stocked with supplies (unlike the other place) and are made available at your appointment. HOPE Independence is where I will always go. PeriodIf you go, talk to those nice ladies Cathy and Cheryl and be sure to ask for Natalie. Thank you Natalie for teaching me to walk again.Well, I had to go back because I gained weight and the socket hurt like hell. When I called Cheryl, she got me right in. I saw Natalie and she fixed the problem right away. Jamie, another clerk also helped me traverse the paperwork quickly, what nice ladies. Nice and friendly, got me in fast and treated me like a King. I don't think there is enough words in the Dictionary to say how good they are. A wonderful experience. A new guy Logan came in while Natalie was working on my socket and just chatted about prosthetic. He is also a great teacher.

Richard Brown: I have been going to HOPE since before I became an amputee. Phil Henry is great and very caring of his patients needs. He is there for me when it is for a small adjustment or in need of new legs. I started getting orthopedic shoes and am now a double amputee. I also recommend Natalie Lenners, she is also very good with her patients.

Andrea Haley: This was my second time using this place. Hesitant because the last time I had to leave my leather purse outside for 3-4 days to air out the smoke! Decided to drop off a couple of pairs of open toed sandals and a purse to stitch where it has separated. It took 4 trips to get items completed. He finished them when I showed up! Had to wait on top of multiple trips and 4 days past the pick up date given.Day 1 now of de-smoking outside.

Rod D: Prices are ok, not outrageous but also not the best deals. Dropped off a pair of old boots I love for resole work and to patch a small tear in the side of the leather. Picked them up after a couple days and the work was ok but the edges of the new soles were not sanded very well and the small tear was not repaired (not entirely too upset at this since he sort of just threw that in after we discussed pricing for the resole, but if you say you will do something, please do it). All in all, average.

Maxwell Krem: Had the soles reglued on a pair of shoes for $17. The proprietor also included a shine.It is an interesting little shop, and the proprietor is laid-back and pleasant when you talk to him, though he might seem a bit (too) nonchalant at first.My biggest issue is not with the shop but with the parking available at the shopping center, which is overrun with First Watch patrons.

Kate Minear: Had some shoes that got put threw a house fire . He cleaned them up and salvaged what he could turned out way better than I expected also took him some batting gloves that needed some work haven’t gotten those back yet but I’m sure they’ll be good as well

Justine Coleman: If I could give this any number of negative stars I would say negative 20. He completely destroyed a very good pair of boots That needed a very minor fix. Simply put the lining in the boots came a little loose we needed a simple stitch and he was in such a hurry that he buckled up the entire lining along the heels in both boots and then his fix was the worst work I have ever seen period shameful work I gave him ample chances to fix it and it took a solid week and a 1/2 longer to get them back and when I got them back these stitching is crooked and not even the same color as the original stitching on the boots and the leather that he put inside the boots ruins the entire balance he didn't even take the time to fully glue it in I cannot believe how angry I am no one should go to this store

When he passed away in early 2021 his cousin Shaun and his mother Joyce stole the company from his daughter, and made funeral arrangements, etc without her. Lets not let these crooks win! d hoover: Needed a new piece of Velcro on a brand new pair of boots. Brought my boot in, prepared to leave it for repair, but 5 minutes and $5 later I was walking out with a functional boot. I was thankful to be able to wear my boot right away and thankful to be saved a trip returning for pickup.

Ruth Bucey: I really am happy with the service I received here. Very nice guy, great work. He went above and beyond to fix a tear in the back on my heel of my boot when I hadn't even noticed it till he pointed it out. I was charged 37.00 for little glue fixes a leather suede Patch on the upper boot and a new heel sole cap. I did NOT get the heel caps as per explained for 15.00. of the the 37.00. I really wanted the heel caps since that's what I thought I was paying for in the quote, but since he fixed a tear in the back heal attached to heel itself, I didn't call back for the heel caps. That was a little disappointing, but great job otherwise. I highly recommend them. You can't go wrong with the service and work here. Ruthie B.

They waited until the last minute to check claims for complete information so I had no opportunity to resolve the situation on my own despite the fact that Hanger had all my paperwork for 2 months. It cost me thousands of dollars and after trying different offices with the same result it is obvious that their problem is from their leadership down.In 3 years I’ve had millions of dollars in medical bills and have experienced GOOD administrative staff, Hanger is by far and away the worst run practice I’ve used. Run, don’t walk away from this toxic clinic!

There is a massive selection (even my husband found shoes he loves and he hasn't bought new shoes in YEARS because "nothing ever fits right AND looks good").Usually there's a sale on something; if not, the prices are still pretty reasonable.The layout is pretty intuitive so it's pretty easy to find whatever you need. Definitely check out the clearance section! I got a great deal on some very comfortable Sketches.
